Play memories error

When I wanted to update my play memories home I keep getting the same error "translated":Cannot go ahead with installation of Playmemories Home because the installation of 'MergeModule_x86.msi' went wrong. try to install PlayMemories Home again 0101-1010-1622 I tried to reinstall and then I uninstalled play memories home and tied to install again but everytime I keep getting the same error.Anyone has a solution?

As of now, Sony CE products and their corresponding software are being tested and evaluated for compatibility with the Windows 10 OS. Updates will be available on the Sony Support site, esupport.sony.com, once our tests are done. We suggest regularly checking the model page of your camera for the latest news about your unit.

    The error may occur when the firewall and antivirus program of your computer are not allowing download of new programs. We recommend disabling both your firewall and your antivirus when installing PlayMemories Home.
    You can also try to download PMH in safe mode:
    Copy the software to a folder on the computer hard drive.
    Turn off the computer.
    Start the computer in the Safe Mode.
    Locate the folder on the computer hard drive where you copied the program files.
    Click the INPUT.EXE or SETUP.EXE icon to begin the software installation.
    Restart the computer.

  • Unable to login to play memories

    Hi,
    I am unable to login in play memories. Whenever i try to login it gives error : Please try after some time.

  • Play Memories Crashes

    Help! I have nothing but trouble with Play Memories.... Currently I get "Browser has stopped working".If it does work, none of the buttons have any words or graphics.  All dialog boxes are blank! This program is plagued with issues.  Is there any fix in sight?  I regret my Cybershot purchase.  I cannot download pictures wirelessly and PMH and PMO are worthless.  There has to be an alternative that I can use to still utilize the wireless transfer and avoid this terrible piece of software. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing.  Done the Setting initialization tool (had to look for a screen capture on-line because all text was missing form the tool). Any help out there???? Running windows 8.1

    We can feel you're frustration concerning this issue. We recommend moving the images to a new folder and deleting them from where they're currently saved in to. The "browser has stopped working" error message happens when some data in your files are not being recognized by the software. 
    After moving the files, initialize the PlayMemories Home software again. If the issue with the interface is fixed, add the new folder into the program. You can do so by going to the File tab, click on Add folders and check the box beside the name of the folder.
    If the issue with the dialog boxes are unresolved by initailizing, uninstall and reinstall the program and add the folder again.

    You are in that awful authorization loop.
    Here are some steps to try.
    1. Deauthorize, then reauthorize your PC - it might be using multiple authorizations and this article shows you how to fix that.

    And make sure you authorize for all iTS accounts, even that old one from 3 years ago you may have forgotten about.
    2. Delete the SC Info folder. The entire folder, not just the file. It will get rebuilt the next time you start iTunes. Don't forget to restart your PC, as the article says.

    3. Get a free single of the week, which has the latest DRM on it, and play a few seconds of it. Sometimes the latest song of the week fixes everything.
    And if that doesn't work, contact iTS support from this page - use the Contact Us button.

  • UNable to play content error on music and videos

    I have an 8330, and I recently begun getting an "Unable to play content" error when I try to play musi or a video.  I first noticed it after recieving the following error message when I turn on my phone, so I figure they are related.
    "Uncaught exception: A  browser content provider for audio/mid MIME type has already been registered with the browser"
    Any ideas on what is wrong or how to fix it?

  • Alternatives for play memories

    The play memories software seemed to have missed some quality checks. It won't install on fairly standaard and clean MS Windows 7 laptop. It crashes and burns with message:"Cannot continue the PlayMemories Home installation because 'PMB.msi' installation failed. Try installing PlayMemories Home again.0101-1008-1603" Software version is PMHOME_4301DL.exe Are there alternatives for using this software? Can be paid. The software should be working. That is a bottom line requirement.

  • Can I upload to Amazon Cloud Storage using the Play Memories Direct Upload app?

    A note in the app manual says you can add network services directly from the Play Memories Apps page, but I don't see anything indicating how.

  • Google Play Store error: "Connection Timed Out - Retry" Xperia E1

    Hi
    I have an Xperia E1 D2005, running kit-kat 4.4.2,   20.1.A.2.19 version, and few days ago I have encountered a strange issue, whenever I try to access Google Play Store app using 3G, it display a waiting sign until the connection timed out errors occurs. However if I use WIFI connection it will connect normally, and other Google services like youtube hangouts) worked fine.
    I have trying severals methods to fix it:
    - Check the date and time.
    - Clear cache and data for Play Store Google Play Services Google Framework).
    - Change or relogin Google acount.
    - Uninstall Goggle Play Store update.
    - Check my APN parametre (proxy/port, not set).
    I tried even to repair my phone with sony PC companion, but the problem persists. I only half-solved the problem by using a VPN app (SuperVPN) that allows me to connect normally to the play store
    So any ideas how to fix this  problem?

    When I start play memories (4.0.01) "Browser has stopped working" appears in a popup overlaying the
     PlayMemories Home. Popup also requests you close the program, making this version of PlayMemories
    unuseable! Prior versions worked. I am running a current version of Windows 7 ultimate.

    The My Pictures folder is the defautl folder where the software gets all the files from so you can view and edit them. If you want to add other folders containing your media files from earlier imports, just click on File, Add folders and select the folder you want the software to manage. I would also suggest backing up your files to another device, if you have any.

  • Play Memories on Windows Vista

    Just recently I have had problems with my play memories program. Once I opened it, it would say "browser stopped working" and then would close the program. After some searching I eventually uninstalled play memories and reinstalled with a now up to date version. Didn't help. It would be ok on the first initail installation, and then the same browser issue. I have don't an uninstall a couple of time, same reasults. I have Windows Vista. Any suggestions.

    Check you are using a version of the client that works ok on Vista (5.0.02.0090). Then turn off the firewalls and confirm that these are causing your problem. If it still does not work then look at the config on the vpn router/firewall/concentrator. Could be missing routes back to the subnet allocated to the client. There are many reasons for it not to work ;-)

  • With purchased music videos they will not play, an error comes up"The requested URP was not fopund on thsi server", and video doesn't play?

    I ahve purchased 5 music vidoes from iTunes and they will not play on my iPhone4. The error message that appears is:
    "The requested URL was not fopund on this server"
    I am not sure how to fix this so I can watch my videos?

    It all depends on exactly how you move the library from one machine to the other. The database holding information about your library is normally in a folder called iTunes, with the media in a subfolder called iTunes Media. In this layout you can usually copy the entire iTunes folder from one machine to the other and it will work. If the media folder is split to a new location however then often the links to tracks will fail on a new computer.
    You shoud find that the FindTracks script is able to repair the links in your library.
    I'm not sure I know what is going on with the purchased music, however if you enable Edit > Preferences > Store > Automatic Downloads > Music you should be able to recover your past store purchases.

  • Sound not working & iTunes won't play & Netflix error

    Sometimes my sound stops working, and songs on iTunes won't play when this happens. Also if I try to watch Netflix an error message comes up: "Netflix Playback Error N8157 3140" and it says it could have something to do with my Silverlight plugin.
    This is what it says:

    This error is usually caused by one of two things:
    A computer setting preventing Silverlight from storing files it needs to play your movie or TV show

    However, I have tried deleting and reinstalling silverlight, but it doesn't make a difference. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? It only happens sometimes, other times I have no problems and it works fine.
