PLD_Problem with sort

Dear gurus,
I have the following problem:
I created a sort condition for the three fields in the middle so these are belong in group 1 and all the other fields in group 0. As you can see in left picture all five fields are in the same height(0). But when i preview the layout it shows the fields in the middle a little bit higher from the other fields.
Can anyone help me??

I already have done this. No result

  • Print Issue with Sorted ALV Grid

    Hi Team,
    I am using ALV display for my Program. Iam using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY. Also i have a Sorting condition for my ALV grid. So iam filling the Sort table & passing it to the Function module. The data is displayed correctly with Sorting as required in the Output.
    Now the issue is with: Print from this ALV. When we try to print the data, The requirement is that the Print should be same as how it is displayed in the ALV. "Grouped Columns"..... But now, the Print is that all the data is filled in all the columns. But user wants the Print also to appear  same as it is shown in a Sorted ALV display.(With some similar column data missing in succeding sort columns until new entry starts)
    Please suggest a solution to acheive the same.
    Thanks & regards,
    Chaitanya

    Look at Q#19 in the note 1009650. Merging functionality is available only for ALV grid display.

    Work around would be to display the excel in the SAP window (Excel in Place)  and print it from Excel. Read the following thread to make the necessary settings to make it work. Download Report exactly same as seems with Layout set !!

  • Problem with sorting involving user defined types and reports

    Hello!
    I have a problem with sorting involving Reports and user defined objet types.
    I have created the following object types
    CREATE TYPE type_balance_compte AS OBJECT
    NUM_CPT_SEQ NUMBER(8)
    ,NUM_CPT VARCHAR2(35)
    CREATE TYPE TB_type_balance_compte IS TABLE OF type_balance_compte
    At the reports query I use:
    SELECT ...
    FROM table(cast(test_pkg.balance_comptes(:P_num_soc) as TB_type_balance_compte)) c
    The procedure balance_comptes will retrieve data from various tables into the type.
    The report is ordered by a certain string field that usually contains characters and numbers.
    I need to have numbers always before characters, meaning the data should come in this order in the report for example:
    0
    1
    A
    B
    So, before the report query, I have placed a call to DBMS_SESSION.SET_NLS( 'nls_sort', 'binary' ) to guarantee NLS_SORT in case it is originally set to FRENCH.
    The problem here is that even after this call, I have the report ordered like this
    A
    B
    0
    1
    And not the numbers before as it should be.
    To try and find out where the problem was, I have created a table to use instead of the object type described above. In this case, it worked correctly. So all I know by now is that is has something to do with the type or cast, but what exactly? Does anybody now how to solve this without using a table?
    Many thanks
    Ariadne

    I have placed a call to DBMS_SESSION.SET_NLS( 'nls_sort', 'binary' ) why not order directly then:
    SQL> select *
          from table (sys.dbms_debug_vc2coll ('A', 1, '5', 'C', 'a'))
    order by nlssort (column_value, 'NLS_SORT = binary')
    COLUMN_VALUE
    1
    5
    A
    C
    a

  • Display dropdown by key data with sorting

    Hi,
    My requirement is to display dropdown by key data with sorting getting this data from XML in KM.
    Tell me different possibilities to sort the data.
    Regards,
    surya.

    Hi,
    Use DropDownByIndex instead of DropDownByKey
    Create a node with a attribute for eg. Colors node with Color attribute and add the values in the elements of the node, Bind attribute to DropDownByIndex UI.
    Create a custom comparator class like below
    import java.util.Comparator;
    import com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDNodeElement;
    import com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.repository.enums.WDComponentLifecycleEnumInfo;
    public class CustomComparator implements Comparator {
         String attribute;
         public CustomComparator(String attrib) {
              this.attribute = attrib;
         public int compare(Object o1, Object o2) {
              try
                   IWDNodeElement units1 = (IWDNodeElement) o1;
                   IWDNodeElement units2 = (IWDNodeElement) o2;
                   return units1.getAttributeAsText(attribute).compareTo(units2.getAttributeAsText(attribute));
              catch (Exception e)
                   e.printStackTrace();
              //arbitrary order
              return 1;
    Once you read values in the Colors node, call the sortElements method of the node as below to sort the elements of the node
    wdContext.nodeColors().sortElements(new CustomComparator("Color"));

  • Selection of tableSelectMany with sorting correct behavior or bug?

    Hello,
    I came across this behavior, looks like a bug to me. So I just wanna check if anyone else knows an answer, solution or workaround to this.
    - I build af:table by drag and drop DataControl onto the page.
    - assume that table as 2+ plus columns. the 1st column is an ID column.
    - assume that currently there are 10 rows displayed with ID 1 to 10
    - if I select the 2nd row (ID = 2), then click sort on the 1st column 2 times (so that it sorts ID descending.)
    - I will see that the 2nd row (which is now ID is 9) is selected.
    I'm kindof see the logic that adf treat this selection thing using position of the rows, not ID of the record represent in that row.
    Is there anyway ADF can keep track using ID instead? or we have to build that logic ourself?
    I came across this thread Re: tableSelectMany in combination with sorting
    but there's no end to it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thank a bunch for shading light to my life. This document is really helpful ;)

  • Issue with Sorting by Custom Attributes

    In our custom SES query application, I am trying to implement sorting at the custom attribute level. I am having difficulty in understanding exactly how to set the options on doOracleOrganizedSearch() to achieve the desired result.
    We have a table based content source and allow a user to search via custom search attribute. We are also going to allow them to sort by custom attribute.
    For example, say we have a Project content source and one of the attributes is "Client Name". Users are going to be able to sort by client name (A-Z and Z-A). I have a prototype working but it only seems to work if I set topN to a very high number.
    I want to bring back the first 10 documents sorted by Client Name A - Z and allowing paging to the next set of sorted results. My prototype works if I set topN to 1000 (more than the # of results) but does not work if I set it to 10 (# of results I want to display per page).
    Below if my code. Note I am not setting the group attribute or the cluster list. Perhaps this is the issue?
    Many thanks in advance!
    OracleResultContainer results = service.doOracleOrganizedSearch
    (this.m_query, // query
    this.m_docsRequested, // topN
    this.m_startIndex, // startIndex

    this.m_fetchAttributeNames, // fetchAttributeNames
    null, // searchControls
    null, // groupAttr
    this.m_sortAttributes, // sortAttrList
    null); // clusterList

    Hi Nikola,
    in 9.0.1 even if you rewrite the web interface you can't sort files by custom attributes setting a SortSpecification to a Folder. You can only sort by base attributes with getItems(). To get item sorted on custom attributes you must perform a search (a lot more codelines).

  • Issue with sorting in a PPR report

    Hi:
    I have a report based on a query that references a view whose defining query references a remote table. I have the columns of this report enabled for sorting and there is no default sort column specified
    All is fine when the page containing this report is called up for the first time. The problems start once I click a column heading to sort the report by that column. The report then renders with fewer than 15 rows (the rows per page value) and hence the pagination links disappear. if I now click a different column heading then more than 15 rows are shown again. I cant say whether the truncation of the result set ihappens only when sorting by a particular column. It does appear to be random. Surprisingly, if PPR is disabled then this bizzare behaviour is not seen.
    Any idea what is going on here ?

    Hi Carl:
    I have posted the page at apex.oracle.com. The URL is http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=23548:22
    However, the problem doesnt manifiest itself here.
    Further investigation on my side leads me to believe that it is the contents of one of the columns displayed by the report (column named STMT) that appears to be the culprit. I remove this column from the report and all is well. The column contents are pl-sql/SQL statements. I cant understand why the contents of the column should matter.
    Thanks for your response.

  • Problem with 'sort and filter' feature of embed codes in Excel Online Web App

    So my question has to do with the Excel Online feature where you can share a spreadsheet and embed it in a website with the option of allowing users to sort and filter the data. (The option is under the "Interaction" heading.)
    One of the options if you look closely is "Let people sort and filter" which is not checked off. In the embed code you can see "AllowInteractivity=False". The problem is that when I check "Let people sort and filter"
    the embed code changes completely - going from:

  • Issue with sorting of TO line item while using LM05 / LM07

    Hi,
    We have found an issue in using LM05 / LM07 trnasactionwhile performing picking activity using the RF transaction.
    1. Transfer Order is created for the same Material and Batch Combination with multiple line items. So when we display the TO the materials appear in the sequence of TO line item say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.
    2.  When we try to confirm the transfer order using LM05 the system is not picking the line items in the order that the TO was created. It is pickinga a random line item from the order and selecting an item from the lower line items of the TO's.
    We have debugged and found that there is no specific sort sequence which is changing the sequence of line items as all the sort eliments have the same values except that there are few empty fields. The statement where the sort sequence is changing is 'SORT TMP_SORT_TAB BY NLTYP SORLP NLENR MATNR CHARG' but my concern is it is not sorting by this sequence specified in the code after execution.
    If anyone has seen this kind of an issue and has a solution please let me know.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Harish

    As for std SAP ME59N - make sure there is not rounding value is activated in the Material master as well as info record
    If this is not the case than check any custom code is activated for ME59N
    becuase generally in many compnay when they use ME59n they don't want the same material from diff PR to create the diff line item in the PO so using the custom logic in the user exist they trick the code
    it might be the case for you where you have issue.

  • Performance of context index with sorting

    Dear All,
    I've got a problem and don't know how to solve this.
    there has a table which have a XMLTYPE field to store the unstructred xml, and created with context index.
    When I try to select a record from it by using contains (res, '[searchingfield]')>0, the response time is quick, but when I try to order by another field which in the same table, the response time is drop down slightly. (ex. select id, path, res, update_date from testingtbl where contains(res, 'shopper')>0 order by update_date desc.
    Actually there is a context index build for field 'res', any other index build for field 'update_date', when sql without 'order by update_date', the context index will use, but the update_date index will not be used even have ordering criteria.
    Is there any expect can tell how to solve this? how to keep the performance even doing the sorting process?
    Thanks and Regards
    Raymond

    Thanks for your quick reply.
    The mentions information provide after back to office, actually I just want to know if there is any method(s) which can use the context index (with contains keyword) and sorting without slow down the performance.
    Thanks and Regards

  • Problems with sort, search and write objects o an ArrayList

    Hi
    Lets say that i have two subclasses (the program is not finished so in the end it can be up to 34 classes) of an abstract superclass. I also got one class which basicly is a register in which i've created an ArrayList of the type <abstractClass>. This means that i store the two subclasses in the arrayList. no problems so far i think (at least eclipse doesn't mind).
    1. now, i want to be able to sort the arrayList aswell as search thorugh it. I've tried Collections.sort(arrayList) but it doesn't work. So i have no idea how to solve that.
    2.The search-method i made doesn't work as good as i hoped for either. I ask the user to first decide what to search for (choose subclass) and then input the same properties as the subclass we search for. I create a new object of the subclass with these inputs and try arrayList.contains(subClassObject)
    it runs but it returns +"false"+ even if i create an object with the exact same properties.
    3. If i want to write this arrayList to a txtFile so i can import it another time. Which is the best method? first i just thought i'd convert the arrayList to string and then print every single object to a textfile as strings. that worked but i have no good idea how to import that into the same arrayList later. Then i found ObjectOutputStream and import using inputStream.nextObject(). But that doesn't work :(
    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

Your classes should in that case implement Serializable.
