Please Help! Blank Screen IOS Release Build
Im getting crazy for this, but when i export the release build and install the app on my iphone, i get just the splash screen. The debug version working good in iphone and simulator.
Im using Flash Builder 4.6

On your mobile, like u do with the debug version!
You should always try the release build!
I found my bug, that in the debug version was working perfectly.

Blank screen while release working time
Hi,
One particular employee in Prod system (ESS Portal), is getting a blank screen while releasing his working time. (It is working fine for all other users)
I did following things
1. User has all the right master data (backend data)
2. Did a backend trace (ST01/ST05), and find that the RFC for releasing working time is not getting triggered for this user. (It is triggering and working as required for all other users)
3. In backend trace did not find any valid authorization failures.
Please suggest.

You can't. The iPhone 3G can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It hardware does not suport a higher iOS.

I've tried Turning off "Show All Music" and then swiping left on the song to delete it, but it wont give me the option to delete the songs. Please help. (this is iOS.7 btw) It only does this for some of the songs, but the rest of them I can delete. This is really annoying, please help me ASAP. Thank yall for your time

Blank Screen in Flex Mobile IOS Release Build
Please I need help!
After exporting the release build with the right certificate, after installing on iphone a get just a blank screen (it stop to the splash screen). I cant understand why, the debug version it's working correctly!

My ipod is remaining with a white/blank screen, it is able to play music, i can hear it, but there are no words, and i did not damage it in anyway, no water or physical damage, this is so strange, please let me know if you have any solutions...thanks much

BLANK SCREEN PROBLEM:
This is caused because the contrast setting on iPL is quite buggy. When you boot iPL for the first time, the screen may be all dark or completely blank. To fix this you can either turn your iPod sideways until you see something then go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Contrast’ and fiddle with it until you see the Linux. If this does not work, follow this procedure:
1. Spin around the click wheel and you should hear some clicking sounds. This means iPL is working.
2. Spin the click wheel around COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until the clicking stops. This will set the selector to the very top.
3. Spin the wheel CLOCK WISE until you hear 2 clicks. This will put the selector to ‘Settings’. Do this nice and slow. Now press the middle button to select it.
4. Spin the wheel CLOCKWISE until you hear 4 clicks. This should select the contrast menu. Press the action button to enter it.
5. Turn the wheel CLOCKWISE to make the screen darker, and COUNTER-CLOCKWISE to make it lighter. The wheel is very sensitive to this so do it slow.
6. If there is no sound during this process, try going to a very bright area and attempting to see the black selector bar on the screen.
If these both don’t work, you’re in trouble! Use the Apple restore tool to restore your iPod and try again! -
Flash builder 4.7 and 3.5 sdk not able to complete an IOS release build
Hello, I am having a problem when I try to make an IOS ipad release build it never able to finish and fails due to compiler errors. I am using window 7 and flash builder 4.7 and AIR sdk 3.5. I have one actionscript mobile project linked to 5 libraries that were built in 4.6. I have rebuilt all the project to support 3.5. I can compile and play a debug version of the game in both standard and fast mode. When I try to do a release build it goes to 4 percent and then fails.

My project compiled fine last Thursday, but I opened it up on Monday (unchanged) and this error showed up in several files. I tried quitting and restarting Flash Builder to no avail. I could not replicate the problem in a new project.
For me, each occurence of the error was at a private function definition, so I thought I would try changing "private" to "public" on one of the functions. The error immediately went away in all 3 locations (not just the one I edited). I then changed it back to "private" with no error.
I hope that will help the Adobe team track down the problem. -
IOS release build crashes instantly
I have an app which works great on the AIR simulator, the iOS simulator, Android, etc... However, on a real iOS device, it immediately crashes on launch after the splash screen is drawn. I have looked in the Organizer under XCODE to see the system log, and it looks mysterious:

first there are all these messages about too many files. First I don't open any files. I don't even think my release build emits any tracing information via "print" either, just in case this error relates to "print" commands which go to stdout not being redirected somehow..
if I do a debug version on the device it works, even the "slow to build, but fast" style of release version. Just the release build fails, and of course the production build also fails. I already got a rejected app submission from apple because the home screen comes up blank.
My app is super simple; it doesn't do squat on the home screen, draws a vector graphic scaled to the screen. Very few objects, negligible memory consumption. It has to be a bug in the packager because if it works in the simulator, it is supposed to work on the production machine. Anyone have a clue as to why an app fails to run?Hi,
Thanks for sharing the files, we've been able to reproduce the issue and are investigating the issue at our end.
The issue is reproducible on non-interpreter targets (ipa-test, ipa-app-store, ipa-ad-hoc) with just a white screen shown after the initial welcome screen is shown for a second. You can use the bug # 3503058 for future reference.

AIR to iOS release build freezes
What am I using:
Mac OS X version 10.7.5
Flash Pro CC and AIR 14.0.0.78 for iOS
The application works in debug build on my iPad2, everything works great. I am using sharedObject to store the users’ preferences.
On the release build, the application starts up normal. I am able to browse through the different screens and use other parts of the application with no problems. When I get to a configuration screen there is an edit and an add button. When clicking on the Edit button no abnormally occurs, when clicking on the Add button, the application freezes. Adobe community, need help with this issue!
Is there a work around, before I change all the sharedObject codes.
Issues:
Under the iOS deployment type Ad hoc or Apple App Store I believe the application freezes with the code below:
No errors displaying why the application freezes on my iPad
Apple Store Approved the application and also no errors through the Application Loader

I believe there should be more support from Adobe.Hello, good to know you problem is solved, However adobe recommends not to use Shared Objects instead there are other sophisticated options to save your game data. Reason is shared objects sometimes becomes messy, data lost and the main reason is on app update your won't find your SharedObject and users data will be lost. Search around web and you will find people already experienced these issues. I have also moved by saved data to Files in my two running projects for client. I have just write all of my data in a small .dat file which is saved in applicationStorageDirectory. The plus point is, this directory data won't be lost in case of app update but only be deleted when app is uninstalled/deleted. I recommend you to move away from Shared Object if your data is sensitive and something you cannot tolerate with your users/clients.

Thank you.You cannot have gotten iOS 7.0.1, not unless you hacked your iPad. iOS 7.0.1 was released for the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S only.
If you mean that you have iOS 7.0 and wish to downgrade to iOS 6, as Gail said that's not possible. If you mean that you have iOS 7.0.2 and wish to downgrade to iOS 7.0, that's also not possible but if you'll posted details about your problems, we may be able to help.

Our Environment - PI 7.0 SP 16
Created a new role in the Integration Builder Design
u2013Add Object Types of any Software Component and Namespace
- Enable usage of Integration Builder roles in Exchange Profile
Integration Builder u2013Integration Builder RepositoryParameter com.sap.aii.util.server.auth.activation to true
Assign users to the newly created Integration Builder roles
u2013Create dummy roles in Web AS ABAP, these roles are then available as groups in Web AS Java
u2013Assign users to these roles
u2013Assign the Integration Builder roles to the above groups in Web AS Java

I am working with XI Developers and Basis Team and we did updated all the Required Exchange profile parameters.
Per this Document - User Authorizations in Integration Builder Tools - Do we need to update the server.lockauth.activation in Exchange Profile. When We updated, It removed Edit Access from all XI Developers in PI
In both the Integration Repository and the Integration Directory, you can define more detailed authorizations that restrict access to design and configuration objects.
In both tools, you define such authorizations by choosing Tools ® User Roles from the menu bar. The authorization for this menu option is provided by role SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR_J2EE. Of course, this role should only be granted to a very restricted number of administrators. To activate these more detailed authorizations, you must set exchange profile parameter com.sap.aii.ib.server.lockauth.activation to true.
The access authorizations themselves can be defined at the object-type level only (possibly restricted by a selection path), where you can specify each access action either individually as Create, Modify, or Delete for each object type, or as an overall access granting all three access actions.

I was able to control display and maintain access from ABAP Roles, but completely failed to implement Integration Builder Security?
Are there any ways to check Whether Data Dependent authorization or J2EE Authorizations are activated?

so to give you status of our issue.
We were able to export missing business component .
But we also exported some interfaces after that and we had some return code 8, due to objects still present in change list on quality system (seems after previous failed transports , the change list was not cleared completley...).
So now we have checked that no objects is present in the change list of quality system and we plan to export again our devs on quality system.
Hope after that no more return code 8 during imports and all devs transported correctly on quality system.
Also recommending to read that, which is pretty good.

PLEASE HELP! finding ORIGINAL release date of music
Does anyone know of a way to change the default release date of music to the actual date the music was released? Is there a more efficient way, other than looking up each song one at a time at a site like www.allmusic.com? PLEASE HELP!!
Just in case I'm interpreting something about your description, you don't need to change info for every song one at a time.
If you have a lot of songs in which they are the only song of a given album, then yes, you have to. But in the case where you want to change all the tracks on a given album to have the release date of that album, you can select all the tracks for that album by clicking the first track, holding SHIFT, and then clicking the last track. Then press CMD+i to bring up the Info window and you can change the date for the whole album at once. -

Code Translation Bug in iOS release build

I think I found a bug in the Adobe compiler to build an iOS ipa. It only happens on ipa release builds, not interpreter builds and I have tried it with several Adobe Air SDKs (from 3.6 to 3.9).
This function:

Will return true on ipa-app-store, no matter the value of validCardLeft. I have verified with popups, that the value of validCardLeft contains the correct value, nevertheless the function always returns true. It happened in 2 of my games, that use this function but a different implementation for cardsMatch();
Using the ugly
if (validCardLeft) return false;
else return true;
fixes the problem.Ran into a similar issue on AIR 4.0 while using "-swf-version=21" as an additional compiler option.
Assigning a boolean variable the value "false" and checking it in an if statement always evaluates as "true" on iOS ad hoc builds.
Changing the if statement to check "true" instead and using an else to handle the appropriate logic seems to have fixed the issue.
