Please help me figure out what this kernel panic is about

Computer keeps crashing. Went to genius bar, said it was sticky windows, deleted that, came home, still an issue. I can't decipher what all the Console gibberish means.

In looking at the crash dump, it appeared that the dependant extensions refer to the Hard drive. That would also explain sluggishness at times.
My suggestion would be to run a disk utility. Repair permissions and also boot to your CD and run a disk utility to check on the volume.
Looking at the logs would be a great idea -- system log to see what was going on at the time.
A couple of other troubleshooting techniques that shouldn't hurt are resetting you PRAM and resetting the SMC.

Thanks for sharing that piece of information. I was only aware of creating posterized effects in Illustrator, though the
re is a posterize filter in Photoshop too. I'm learning as I post so bear with me. I find that providing a helping hand can't hurt unless you're way off base. In this case I guess I should have provided my suggestion as an alternative rather than stating that it could only be best done in AI.

Please help me figure out what's wrong with my girls fairly new Toshiba lap top.

OK as of late my girl got a nice new laptop. It started off really fast and she was really happy with it. But in the past three weeks or so it's been acting up. It's not connecting to the Wi-Fi properly, and won't read and other available confections. If we reset and restart it one of two times that usually does the trick but the last time took 3 restarts before connecting to the right the way it was made to. To top it all off though. We were just laying down and she had heard the cooling fan going in it. This is odd because I had used it last and i always meme site to shut it down properly. But to my dismay when she picked it up and showed me I could clearly tell it was the cooling fan and that the lights on the side indicated that it was still on. What would cause these things to happen like this and more importantly, what can I do to not only fix the issues, but to stop this from becoming potentialy a bigger and worse problem? Please, anyone with any knowledge on this matter. Please help me out to prevent this from becoming a bigger more expensive issue. Please help me figure out why this thread's performance degrades over time

The code below is from a Runnable that I've tested inside a Thread operating on a TreePath array of size 1500; the array 'clonedArrayB' is this TreePath array. The code is designed to create a more stepped version of setSelectionPaths(TreePath[]) from class JTree.
The performance decrease of the thread is very rapid; this is discernible simply from viewing the println speed. When it gets to about 1400 TreePaths added to the JTree selection, it's running at roughly 1/10 the speed it started running at.
I know there's no problem with maintaining a set of selected paths of that size inside a JTree. I also know that the thread stops when it should. So it must be some operation I'm performing inside the brief piece of code shown below that is causing the performance degradation.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the slowdown?

Well, since I've had no responses, I tried to think of other ways to speed the code up.
I'd already made nearly every tweak I know. The only additional thing I could think of was to use addSelectionPaths(TreePath[]) on a subarray of the cloned array, instead of addSelectionPath(TreePath) on the cloned array's elements, since obviously it would be fewer method calls. It has sped things up an awful lot (my new code is shown below - I've left in some things I chopped out above, so you can see exactly what I see). The problem is though, obviously an increase in initial velocity doesn't solve the problem of deceleration occurring, if you get me.

Alright, so like 2 hours ago i was playing with my sudoku app, and the password screen for iCloud kept popping up, so I put i my password not really thinking anything of it but it came up again, and I put the password in maybe twice more before I just hit cancel; still came up. So I closed the app completely and then went back into it and it didn't come anymore so that was that. But then I was trying to text my boyfriend who also has an iPhone and it wouldn't send iMessages, and when I was texting him with regular texts he said it there were no letters. So I went into settings to turn off iMessage and turn it back on again and when it asked for my apple password to turn it on again, it kept saying that I wasn't putting in the right password even though I know that I was. Went to change my password through email, and lo and behold my mail app says 'Cannot Get Mail Failure to connect to server.' Alright, try to sign into my account on the internet (still on my phone), says I'm putting in the wrong password, I know that I wasn't. So reset that password as well, and I noticed a bunch of emails from Urban Outfitters about my 'forgotten password' ... I haven't tried logging into that recently and even still I know that password. But as for the messages between my boyfriend and I, they went back to iMessage after 'he' restarted his phone (?) weird but alright. I've tried restarting my phone, turning wifi off and on, nothing is working. Does anyone know what could be going on ?

The thread running through your explanation has to do with connectivity to your server. (iCloud out of the blue asking for password, unable to message your boyfriend, unable to access e-mail). You said that you boyfriend restart his device and then the two of you were able to then imessage. My best advice for you would be to go to settings to reset to reset network settings. Once this has been done you then will need to enter the name and password of your wifi. ONce this is done you then can attempt to check to see that all passwords are enter correctly.

Problem started after I unintentionally downloaded some adware 4 days ago. After lots of aggressive ads slowed down my browser I downloaded and ran AdwareMedic which seemed to do the job and browser was back to normal. Then, possibly a coincidence, everything on the computer started running slower. I've backed up everything and have run a EtreCheck report.

When you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
          View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above.
Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first.

everytime i try to turn on my ipod the apple logo appears and then a battery with a exclemation mark in a litlle triangle appears, and once i got it on it won't play the songs, it just goes through them w/o playing it for a second. I can't figure it out. What should i do?

Have you tried resetting it while it's connected? To reset hold the MENU and SELECT (center) buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Please Help me Figure out What is Wrong with Itunes Video Uploads

Hi all. I would be so greatful for someones help. Since I bought my Ipod Video I frequesntly purchase videos from Itunes. Recently, I purchased 8 diffent videos-- ranging from television shows to movies, etc... The problem is that I cannot download anything fromthe Itunes store. Eachtime Itunes goes to download the items that I have purchased I receive an error message for each of the items as follows:
"There was a problem downloading “______”.
Parts of the file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose “Check for Purchases” from the Store menu."
The thing is that this happens with any videos that Ipurchase now, so I doubt that they are all currupted. Could this bean issue with my settings or something? MaybeI am a bit clueless, but it is quite frustrating that I have spent alot of $ on things that I can't actually watch The problem doesn't happen with regularmusic downloads.
Any help is VERY GREATLY appreciated.

So ive basically just deleted everything off my phone. i have 240 pictures and 2 short videos. my phone keeps displaying storage almost full when i do have crap on there!! my phone says i have 4.6 available space on icloud but my phone wont let me use that space!! this is getting real tiring and annoying!! I have 8gb & my phone won't let me do anything with that 8gb!! & I have 4.6 space available on iCloud!! Someone tell how to fix this!! I'm getting real angered about it

You need to right-click the prefs.js file and use "Open with" to open the file in a text editor (e.g. Notepad) and you shouldn't double-click the file as that gives you the above posted error message.

Following the information on this site, I looked through all the tables listed under RSUPD* but could not locate R3TRROUT4BHOQZTDNV4U6BLY12MUXO6C6
Also, following the help to see RSA1 -> Update rules -> Extras -> Object Data Directory, it shows the update rules was no local.
The only unique thing about this particular Update Routine, is that the rule source fields include one new field zfield which was an enhancement to 2lis-02_scl. When the Update Rule was transported to Quality, the three fields from the 2LIS, including the zfield (which were mapped in Dev) do not how up in test and hence the transformation becomes u201CXu201D

The transport of the Transformation to Quality ends with warning but when you go to Quality to check, all the 4 Update Rules in the Transformation were ok, except that the 4th update rule, which automatically becomes u201CXu2019 (No Transformation).

When i try to collect the transformation in Transport connection, I get the following:

Diagnosis
     You wanted to generate an object with the name
     '4BHOQZTDNV4U6BLY12MUXO6C6' (in transport request ROUT) of type
     'Routine' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repositor
     database. It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version
     is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or
     installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not
     created or not activated.
System Response
     The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.
But I Can't find it to remove or activate.

Can someone please help me figure out how to “clear” recent email addresses used in Mail? For example, as I begin typing a name/email address in the “To:” field, Mail begins suggesting addresses that I’ve previously used. I don’t want any suggestions unless they are in my contacts.
Another example: When using MS Outlook, it will also remember and suggest email accounts previously used, but I can arrow down and delete an account from the list so it won’t automatically popup or suggest in the future.
I appreciate any guidance in this matter.

The iOS email app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which cannot be turned off. The email address autofill feature when addressing an email pulls from contacts and from the list of previous recipients which can't be prevented. There is no option to clear the list of previous recipients - not at the present time anyway.
If you don't want any suggestions, select from contacts instead when addressing an email.
