    MPEG streamclip cannot be opened without mpeg 2 playback component right? or some of you guys can successfully open it without it?
    So I need to buy mpeg 2 playback component, but does quicktime pro include this software? which in other means, if i get quicktime pro, can i open this application?

    Hi Andrew,
    I went back and took a look at your other post. The problem is not with lacking of QuickTime MPEG-2 playback component nor QuickTime Pro. Your MPEG Streamclip simply did not launch at all due to some other issues. Did you download MPEG Streamclip from http://www.alfanet.it/squared5/mpegstreamclip.html ? if not, re-download from there. You need to look in the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter folder for crash report generated when MPEG Streamclip died. You may have some system issues with your Mac (as per Matti responses in that post that some troubleshooting steps are needed)
    To answer your questions:
    MPEG Steamclip does not need QT Pro nor QT MPEG2 playback component to launch.
    QT MPEG2 playback component is only needed if you want to open a MPEG-2 file after launching MPEG Steamclip (it would not crash either if you don't have it)
    QT Pro and QT MPEG2 playback component are two separate licences that you pay separately.

    SMARTFORMS STEPS.
    1. In Tcode se11 Create a structure(struct) same like the Internal table that you are going to use in your report.
    2. Create Table type(t_struct) of stracture in se11.
    3. In your program declare Internal table(Itab) type table of structure(struct).
    4. Define work area(wa) like line of internal table.
    5. Open Tcode Smartforms
    6. In form Global setting , forminterface Import parameter define Internal table(Itab) like table type of stracture(t_struct).
    7. In form Global setting , Global definitions , in Global data define Work area(wa) like type stracture(struct).
    8. In form pages and window, create Page node by default Page1 is available.
    9. In page node you can create numbers of secondary window. But in form there is only one Main window.

    11. After creating the window right click on window create table for displaying the data that you are passing through internal table.
    12. In the table Data parameter, loop internal internal table (Itab) into work area(wa).

    SAP Smart Forms is introduced in SAP Basis Release 4.6C as the tool for creating and maintaining forms.
    SAP Smart Forms allow you to execute simple modifications to the form and in the form logic by using simple graphical tools; in 90% of all cases, this won't include any programming effort. Thus, a power user without any programming knowledge can
    configure forms with data from an SAP System for the relevant business processes.
    To print a form, you need a program for data retrieval and a Smart Form that contains the entire from logic.   • Very very urgent - foreign curency valuation

    when i am not assigning the cost centre to vendor in FB 60 then the foreign currency valuation is working properly. but when i assigned the cost centre then i am getting following error
    Posting for general ledger account 15201001 amount                                           2.028,00- set in batch input
    Message no. FR008
    Diagnosis
    In an evaluation that affects the financial statements, the posting for company code 211 and G/L account 15201001, in the amount of  2.028,00- INR, could not becarried out.
    System Response
    The posting is entered in a batch input session.
    Procedure
    Correct the error, for example, missing account determination, and run the batch input session.
    This ensures that the postings and the evaluation difference noted in the documents agree again.
    My diagnosis:
    I have checked all the configuration of FCV and its correct. i am not understanding why above error is appearing. Also i dont want to do it in batch run.

    I will elaborate my scenario:
    I am doing foreign currency run for my vendors. each vendor will be assigned a  cost centre in FB60
    15201001 is my vendor recon account. To this recon account  in OBA1 in transaction typr KDF i have assigned five accounts. two for realised gain/loss acct and two for unrealised gain/ loss acct and one balance sheet adjst acct.
    I have also created cost elements for above unrealised gain/loss account to which i have not assigned any cost centre.
    I had also config val area, val method, acc principle for FCV.
    I think my config is correct.
    Are there  any settings still pending which required to be done for vendor account

    According to client requirement he wants to see the report for the period 001.2006 to 012.2006.When i gave this range its throwing the error mentioned.If could see the report by giving perticular date wise.But its not showing the report if give the above mentioned range.

    My co code is maintaining INR as co code curr and GBP as group currency.
    I had created following depreciation area in My Chart of depren.
    01   Book depreciation as per IFRS(INR)
    02   Tax depreciation
    30    Book depreciation in GBP(IFRS)
    32    Book depreciation as per indian acct stds (INR)
    62    Delta differenece between 32-01
         When i am trying to assign currency type grp currency in "Specify use of parallel currency" in currency tab it is giving me following error.
    "Message no. TK428
    Diagnosis
    Entries in table T093 cannot be edited in connection with customizing object VV_T093A_CURTPV as table T093 does not belong to customizing object VV_T093A_CURTPV, according to the object definition.
    System Response
    The function terminates.
    Procedure
    Check whether the entered objects and keys are correct.
    Then check in the Implementation Guide whether the object was created correctly.
    Correct the object definition or the entry for the Transport Organizer interface."
    I am not able to understand the message and all otehr settings are correct.

    hi tanuja,
    you have to look at your company code settings also t-code OB22 and look at the Crcy type: group currency and <u><b>Valuation: 2-Profit Center Valuation or 1-Group or 0-Legal val.</b></u>.? Depending on this you assign currency type 30, 31 or 32 in "Specify use of parallel currency" to area deprec 32 with IdAPC and IdntTrm check box checked and adopting values from deprec. area 01.
    Now from your structure it looks like GBP is ur group currency and INR is ur co. code curr. Area 01 and 02 looks ok !
    Area 32 is Book depreciation in group currency and not INR.
    Area 30 (Consolidated balance sheet in local currency) is suppose to be in local currency not GBP.
    See if this helps as i dont know your comp. code structure.. if it doesnt work plz revert back with ur questions.

    I have gone through that note already no much information available there its mentioned about service package 04 with is already available in our system, as per your second check point source system is mapped fine as we are able to transport remaining objects, actually now we started transporting objects in batch wise selecting few at a time and as its working fine with few, I dont think there is a problem with mapping. and one more error we are getting is

  • How to send Zip files as attachments !! Very urgent, Please help!

    I am sending PDF files as attachments using java mail (it works fine). But now my requirement is to zip the PDFs and send them as attachments instead of actual PDF's. But i don't know how to achieve that. does java mail API support zip attachment facilities? I have looked in activation API also, but i couldn't find anything helpful. even i searched the forums, but no clue. Please, anybody help me about this, it's very urgent.

    Check the first "if". If I specify an attachment, then a myme multipart doby is created: one for text and the other for the attachemnt I use this myme ovbject only for attachemnts, because some ISPs have problems and report error in email format if the attachemnet is missing and it contains only text and no attachment.

    OOPs ABAP uses Classes and Interfaces which uses Methods and events.
    If you have Java skills it is advantage for you.
    There are Local classes as well as Global Classes.
    Local classes we can work in SE38 straight away.
    But mostly it is better to use the Global classes.
    Global Classes or Interfaces are to be created in SE24.
    SAP already given some predefined classes and Interfaces.
    This OOPS concepts very useful for writing BADI's also.
    So first create a class in SE 24.
    Define attributes, Methods for that class.
    Define parameters for that Method.
    You can define event handlers also to handle the messages.
    After creation in each method write the code.
    Methods are similar to ABAP PERFORM -FORM statements.
    After the creation of CLass and methods come to SE38 and create the program.
    In the program create a object type ref to that class and with the help of that Object call the methods of that Class and display the data.

    What is ticket? Process flow ticket
    Handling tickets is called Issue Tracking system. The errors or bugs forwarded by the end user to the support team are prioritized under three seviority High, Medium and Low. Each and every seviority as got its time limits before that we have to fix the error.
    The main job of the supporting consultant is to provide assistance on line to the customer or the organisation where SAP is already implemented for which the person should be very strong in the subject and the process which are implemented in SAP at the client side to understand,to analyse,to actuate and to give the right solution in right time.This is the job of the support consultant.
    The issues or the tickets(problems) which are arised is taken care of on priority basis by the support team consultants.
    The work process in support projects are given below for your reference.
    1. The customer or the end user logs a call through any tool or by mail (RADIX).
    2. Each one of the support team is a part of support group.
    3. Whenever a customer logs a call he /she has to mention to which work group (by name).
    4. Once the calls came to the work group the support consultant or the team need to send an IR (Initial Response) to the user depending upon the priority of the calls. (Top,High,Med,Low,None)
    5. Then the error is fixed, debugged by the support consultant or the team. Then after testing properly by generating TR(Transport Request through the basis admin)
    6. Then it is informed to the end user/customer/super user about the changes which have moved to the production server by CTS process.
    These are the process. In summary, what I understand is that if any configuration or customization is required to solve the issue, then the consultant have to work on DEV Client, then the end user will test it in the QA client and after approval the BASIS consultant has to transport it to the PRODUCTION client.
    An example:
    Tickets in SD can be considered as the problems which the end user or the employee in the company face while working on R/3. Tickets usually occur during the implementation or after theimplementation of the project. There can be numerous problem which can occur in the production support and a person who is working in the support has to resolve those tickets in the limited duration, every ticket has the particular deadline alert so your responsibility is to finish it before that deadline.
    To begin with , we should give "TICKET" to you for not knowing it.
    Here is an eg of a ticket raise:
    End user is not able to
    1. Create Sales order for a customer from a New plant , since shipping point determination is not happened . ( Without Shipping point the document becomes INCOMPLETE and he will not be able to proceed further like DELIVERY, BILLING).
    He raises a ticket and the priority is set in one of the below:
    1. Low 2. Medium 3. High.
    Now you need to solve this ticket. You would analyze the problem and identify that the SP configuration has to be done for the new plant.
    You would request a transport for DEV CLIENT to BASIS. You do the change and Request one more Transport to BASIS for QA client. The End user will test the same by creating a sales order for the new plant and approve it.
    Finally, you request a transport to move the changes to PRODUCTION. Once the change is deployed in production the TICKET is closed. What I have given is a small example. You would get some real issues with severity HIGH in your day-day support.
