Hi,
Please tell me the complete WM Process/steps. In my new assignment I have been to ask to look after WM also. Can anybody please help me with steps involved in WM, that is like after GR/ Inbound delivery is done, what is procedure for putaway, picking & also for transfer posting.

Hello Sharan,
Check the very first post in this forum by Mohammad Arif Mansuri , he has a boat load of links and your questions are addressed in the WM/IM links.
Also I must say my experience is every place has a different place of doing things, so you will have to go through whats knows as training on the job it seems.
Its a part of IT and especially SAP , given its so vast.
So work hard and ask questions and you'll be there. Don't be shy of saying I do not know how this works here. Ask the business folks how they do things.

Lets say your company code is in country IN. Every vendor you create (using XK01, lets say) with a country other than IN is a foreign vendor for your company code. To enable APP for foreign vendors, make sure you check the checkbox 'Foreign Business Partner Allowed' in 'Payment method in company code' in T Code FBZP. If the vendor invoice is in a foreign currency, make sure you include that currency as permitted currency for that payment method.
To run APP for customers, your 'Payment method in country' in FBZP must be for incoming payment.

Can any please explain the integration business process between Project systems (PS) and customer service (CS).
Business Process: We do machinery Erection or commissioning, later we do provide service warranty for one year.
How we map this Business scenario in sap.

basic steps for such a process would be
1) Use PS functionality for your machinery erection or commisioning work. Once the physical work is completed then close porject
2) Use CS functionality for warranty and service - set up the work as a functional location on customer site (PM/CS functionality)
3) Use service order to manage any service calls on the object which could require billing via SD module - bill value may be zero if under warranty

How to provide transition comment while completing a process step

Out of the box, we can indicate transition comment for participant steps when completing a inbox item, which is then displayed as a subheading of a inbox item for next step - which is really helpful.
but, how can i provide a transition comment, when completing a process step.
I see the complete method, but dont see where i can provide transition comment.

Its workitem metadata which holds the comments info. Can you try this if it works
workitem.getWorkflowData().getMetaData(); which will return the dictionary object and set "comment" in this object.

If you wish to use the cellular capabilities of a device, you will need a SIM (unless the carrier uses CDMA which doesn't use SIMs) and you will have to pay a cell carrier. No cell company provides service for free. The only way you will get free Internet is via WiFi to a free and open WiFi access point, as sometimes is offered in public buildings or by some businesses.

Please provide the external testing process in QM

           My client want to MAP external testing process in their business scenario.pls update me how we can MAP in our QM process.
          process is :-
                         1) Material sample will go to external testing (external vendor). :- on which basis that material will Gate-out.
                         2) sample quantity will not return from vendor end.only result will come.
                         3) after that result recording will done.
                         4) UD will done.

You can use external inspection (inspection type 0130) in this case. Activate 0130 inspection type in material master as well @ opeartion level of Routing.
So moment you do GR of external operation you will get inspection lot of this GR (insp type 0130) in this case & you can record result against same.
