Pls differenciate form/function level personalisation

Hi All,
in my form i had one personalisation at function level and form level,but i am uable to find the difference of this two levels,
and i dont understand the purpose of two levels.pls some one tell me with one real time example.
Regards
Gopinath

Hi Gopinath,
You can have two functions pointing to the same form, say for form APXINWKB
AP_APXINWKB
MODS_AP_APXINWKB
If you apply personalization for Form, then it will apply for both functions.
If you apply personalization to Function then it will only affect the function you choose!

Gareth

  • Function Level Personalisation

    I have 4 different employee responsibilities + 4 other manager responsibilities.
    We have 2 functions accessible for each of the above responsibilities.
    Responsibility A
    ----- Function1 - show declaration
    ------Function2 - hide declaration
    Responsibility B
    ----- Function3 - show declaration
    ------Function4 - hide declaration
    For only Function1 and Function3, I need to add a declaration - I have created a staticStyledText item (XXCustom1) at function level.
    If i create a item at site level, personalise option was enabled only at Organization and responsibility levels. This does not suit my purpose as I need to have it only for one of the 2 functions available in that responsibility.
    Do I need to create multiple items with different names -XXCustom1,XXCustom2,XXCustom3,XXCustom4 , one for each funtion level. Or is there an easier way to this?

  • Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMC_REVALUATE_ENDING_STOCK in position 1 with RC

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    I am getting this error while trying to close a material in Material Ledger Cockpit
    Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMC_REVALUATE_ENDING_STOCK in position 1 with RC
    Message no. C+099
    Procedure
    Please inform your system administrator.
    CKMC reports no inconsistency.
    Does anyone have any suggestion?
    Cheers,
    TD

    Shipa,
    Thanks for your suggestions.  Thanks for taking the time to help.
    I was able to resolve these issues using the following steps in our sandbox/test environments.  I have also included other problems I faced in material ledger month end closing steps for the benefit of readers.
    **** Caution:  Do not do the following steps in production environment.  You will destroy your production data irretrievably.  Material Ledger is unforgiving!!! ***
    1.  For the materials with "Internal Error in Form/Function etc issue, I performed a CKMM in the respective plants changing for 3S to 2S and then did the same in reverse (2S to 3S).  Then ran the ML close.  This seems to have temporarily solved the problem.
    2.  I was also getting a short dump -- either during MMPV or during period close in the cockpit.  The message at both times was "Error in MLCCS ...".  I realized it related to Cost Component Split.  I identified the company codes of the materials that caused the errors, then got all the plants within each of these company codes.  I ran MLCCS_RESET and then MLCCS_Startup in SE38.  Then ran MMPV/ML Close.  This seems to have resolved the issues at least temporarily.
    3.  Occasionally I noticed some "material valuation is inconsistent in valuation area xxxx" error.  I executed steps 1 and 2 above in succession.  This seems to have resolved the issue temporarily.
    4.  There was also the issue of "duplicate entry in CKMLKEV" while performing Single/Multi-Level steps in the closing cockpit.  This pointed to MLCCS.  So I ran step 2 above.  Again this seems to have fixed the issue temporarily.
    I was able to accomplish all of these using the steps above because these were in our test environments.  The reasons as to why these happened are manifold:
    MMPV was not carried out for a long, long, long time in certain plants within a company code.  When ML is active, it is necessary to close previous period.  In cases where MMPV was not carried out for a long time, I ran CKMHELP program to set the material status to 70 for the immediately preceding posting period.  This helped run the ML cockpit for the current/previous periods.
    Users were processing too many transactions with unrealistically large quantities and prices resulting in overflow errors.  I carried out reversal of movements for each process category to reduce the inventory balances to reasonable quantities, and ran MR21 to set the prices correctly.  This helped resolve the overflow issue.
    Reckless, repeated running of CKMM and MLCCS_Reset/MLCCS_Startup also contributed to these problems.  Every time a standard had to be released, but the material status in ML is "30-Quantities and Values entered", would prevent users from doing that. So they resort to CKMM and then reset status using CKMHELP program to set the status to 10 and then release the new cost.  It works, but wreaks havoc on ML as a whole eventually.
    Hope my comments are useful for some!!!
    Cheers,
    TD

  • Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMLKEPH_ROLLUP in position 2 with RC 4

    The order settlement terminates with the error Message no. MLCCS 099 "Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMLKEPH_ROLLUP in position 2 with RC 4".
    The material ledger is active. The actual cost component split is active. I want to  carry out the order settlement for one plants.
    With the same production material no.in the plant. There are many other productin order are settled in thid period. But, only one production order got the error message, why?
    I knew that I could change the Price determ. (in material master) from 3 Single-/multi-level to 2          Activity-related, then I can continute settlement transaction in CO88. But , I want to know what's wrong this the order. What should I check about the order. Why other orders are settled without error with the same material no, and  plant.
    I had check about SAP note 711416 & 729901 & 523100 & 623701 & 653523, those can't slove my problem in CO88.

    Thanks for your answer.
    But, I have two production orders product the same material in the same plant and  will be settled in this period. Both of those two orders were consumed material in 3 months ago. But, only one of them were terminated with error message in CO88. Why? How can I find out the difference between those two orders? They seems the same.
    For SAP note 623701 & 871926 & 867755, I think we already implemented those. I had found program "MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT " in SE38. And, I can find the message 013 & 015 in message class MLCCS. So, do you have other commendations?
    Do you know how could I check about "Display order history" that mentioned in note 86775. Which T-code should I go to?
    Thanks a lot.

  • AD FS Across Differing Domain Functional Levels

    My customer needs to implement AD FS for single sign on due to a cloud based email solution they recently implemented. The problem is, their domain controllers are Server 2003 (non-R2) at a functional level of 2003 mixed mode. They should be able to raise
    to 2003 native if necessary however. Their solution is to create a new 2008 domain and implement a two-way trust, running AD FS in the new domain serving the clients in the 2003 domain.  This way should be quicker than upgrading their current domain
    which would be a rather large project due to their size and complexity.
    Are there any gotcha's I should know about with doing it this way?  I have verified that we can create the two-way trust between domains of these functional levels, and AD FS can service clients in a trusted domain, but I am not entirely sure if AD
    FS will care that the trusted domain is 2003 non-R2.  Can anyone confirm if this will be a feasible scenario?
    Thanks very much!!
    Wraith

    Hi
    Wraith,
    In addition, if you are not using Windows Server 2012 or above as ADFS server, you will be fine with Windows 2003 mixed mode.
    “Since ADFS does not require Active Directory functional-level modifications to operate successfully. However, if you are using Windows NT token–based applications and
    you want a token to be generated using Kerberos Service-for-User (S4U), the domain functional level must be Windows 2000 native or Windows Server 2003”, quoted form below article:

  • Error: PLS-222: no function with name 'V' exists in this scope

    In my application, I used the wizard to create a form on a table with Report (2 pages). Then I go to the Report page and I want to test the edit function. This successfully launches the edit Form. When I change the values in the form and then try to save them, I get this error:
    Error Unable to process row of table PRODUCER.
    OK
    ORA-20001: Error in DML: p_rowid=ISDIRECT12, p_alt_rowid=KEYCODE, p_rowid2=, p_alt_rowid2=. ORA-06552: PL/SQL: Statement ignored ORA-06553: PLS-222: no function with name 'V' exists in this scope
    I guess my question is: should I be able to run and use the application while in developer mode.
    If yes, what am I doing wrong?

    We downloaded the companion CD product from OTN
    In the install, we just set up the second option (for HTML db. No glitches on the install, ended successfully
    Read the notes in the doc folder. No issues there
    Platform for development is Win XP Pro
    DB server and app server on same PC.
    Not sure what else you might need to know to answer your question

If this box is flagged on the purchase order, then the purchase order form needs to be updated with a return indicator. This indicator can be viewed on ‘line-item 030’ of the attached word document ““PO Form Outline (Single Page)” in the Attachments section.
    - The line-item fields should have the following alignment:
    Material: Left
    Material Description: Left
    Unit: Left
    Qty.: Right
    Date Required: Left
    Unit Cost: Right
    Amount: Right
    - If the line-items do not fit on one page, then they should continue on to subsequent pages. The Header information should be copied to all the subsequent pages and the authorization section will be displayed on the last page as well as the total amount and currency. This example can be viewed in document “PO Form Outline (Multiple Pages)” in the Attachments section.
    Dislclaimer:
    A disclaimer will also be included in this section and after all the line-items. The disclaimer text is still pending. An example of a disclaimer is shown in the “PO Form Outline (Single Page)” after line-item 040. This document can be found in the Attachments section.
    If a PO requires multple pages, the the disclaimer will be displayed on the last page after the last line-item.
    III. Authorization Information
    This section will contain the purchasing agent: The purchasing agent will be the person who created the purchase order. This section will also contain their telephone number and email address.
    The first and last name of the person who created the purchase order should be displayed here. This can be looked up in the users profile. The user profile will also contain their email and telephone number.

  • How do I Edit an Existing PDF Form Without Losing Form Functionality

    I'm brand new to Acrobat but familiar and proficient with Flash, PhotoShop Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Fireworks etc.
    The company I work for sells office supplies. We sell 57 distinct items.  We have Acrobat 9.  I am designing a PDF order form with fields that can be emailed to our clients as an attachment.  They fill out the form, it calculates the total, they send it back to us, we fill and ship the order.  Basic and straightforward.
    I can add form fields to my order/pricelist... not a problem.  The question is:
    Once I have brought a PDF into Acrobat and add 57+ fields and calculations, which is a time consuming process, how do I edit an item price at a later date, if someone in the company decides to make a change to our pricing?
    See..., If I save the original Microsoft Excel document as a PDF, Acrobat can't edit the text for some reason.  Something to do with "Renderable Text".  Now if I open the PDF saved from Microsoft Excel in Adobe Illustrator, I can use the text tool to make changes. That doesn't help me... just saying. Why can't I edit "Renderable Text" with the Acrobat Text Tool?  Someone in a forum stated that Acrobat is NOT a word processing program!  If that is an accurate statement, it would appear that Acrobat can at least work with base PDF documents to make certain types of modifications and add functionality.  Is that correct?
    Here's the problem.  I create a PDF with form functionality.  Everything works great.  The boss says, I want to change the price of the scissors.  I can't change the text in Acrobat because of the "Renderable Text" nonsense.  Does this mean that I have to re-apply all of the form fields and calculations to the new base PDF document every time there is a minor change?  I know there has to be a simple work around.  Should I upgrade to a newer version of Acrobat?
    Is it possible to save the original existing form functionality as a layer or overlay to be applied to the new modified base PDF document?   Kind of like so many other Adobe products do including PhotoShop, Fireworks, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash etc., so that all of the form functionality can be applied in one big chunk?  Premiere Pro has the time-saving feature of "Paste Attributes".  It's a real time saver.
    It may be simpler to just direct me to a video that goes through the process of creating a PDF order form with fillable fields that multiplys quantity by unit price and totals one column.
    I already created a prototype of the form in PhotoShop which can be saved as a PDF.  The finished order document appearance has 95 horizontal 3px wide lines and 6 vertical 3px lines, kind of like what one might expect to see in an Excel spread sheet.  The form also contains some graphics and unconventional text areas that acrobat could overlay text fields and everything would be fine.
    With these great number of horizontal dividing lines, It doesn't seem practical or even possible to create the basic layout in Acrobat.  As I originally stated, I'm new to Acrobat and would like suggestions for a workflow that enables easy editing of an existing PDF document with form fields.  I want to avoid the monumental task of re-doing all of the fields and calculations.

    For what you are trying to do that is probably what you want -- Replace Pages. There are a few more issues that you need to be aware of since this is a business form. If customers are using Reader XI, it is not an issue.
    On the renderable text, can you see the text list when you look at the font tab in the document properties (ctrl-D)? If not, they you do not really have fonts to edit. This may be the type of fonts you used in the original or the way in which you did the conversion to PDF. You need to have fonts that are on your system and then be sure to embed them (otherwise others may not be able to read them because of different OS or such).
    As to e-mailing the form, that is fine (though there are sometimes problems with various clients and PDFs -- but usually on the sending end).
    For collecting the data you may want to try a different route. For users of Reader XI, they can save the form with the data. Prior versions could not do that unless you enabled the form for Reader. However, this latter process has a 500 form use limit -- A license issue. If the data is submitted, then it does not make a difference. The folks with Reader XI can still save the form with the data, others will have to print a copy for their records.
    The data can be imported to the form on your end and so you would have the exact same results as what was filled out. However, the submission process should be set up to submit to a web script for your receipt and not use mailto. The latter has problems that you have no control over due to proper operation with the mail client on the user machine. Typically the mail client must be the default and use MAPI. In any case, it is not reliable (not for business use). So submission to a web script is useful. The data in AcroForms would be of the type FDF (or possibly XFDF). If for some reason use created the form with Designer, that limit any editing in Acrobat since it is no longer a real PDF, but an XML container that Acrobat and Reader can display and interact with, but not change. Again, submission to a web script is still preferred.
    For dealing with a web script and some coding for various languages, you can check out the FDF Toolkit. It has been around a while, but should still handle the CGI needs of the submission. In addition, it has tools for adding the data to a database and other typical operations for data collection. You can save the FDF files and import them to the form and deal with the data there also.
    The use of Replace pages would do the job if all your form fields will still need to be in about the same location. Form fields are mark up and the pages are referred to as the document. Thus the replace pages will just original page and leave all the form fields. You will still need to go back and fix the value within the fields themselves, but that is a field edit.

  • Adobe Forms function module - downloading the xstring output in PDF file

    Hi Guys,
    I'm using Adobe forms and fetching its output in an XSTRING PDF format. How can I download this XSTRING output to a PDF file and store on the local file system?
    I'm using the following approach to getting a PDF output:
    ls_outputparams-getpdf = 'X'.
    CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN'
      CHANGING
        ie_outputparams = ls_outputparams.
    * Get the name of the generated function module
      CALL FUNCTION 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
        EXPORTING
          i_name     = 'ZADOBEFORM'
        IMPORTING
          e_funcname = lv_fmname.
      IF sy-subrc <> 0.
      ELSE.
    *   Call the Adobe Form function module
        CALL FUNCTION lv_fmname
          EXPORTING
            /1bcdwb/docparams  = ls_docparams
          IMPORTING
            /1bcdwb/formoutput = ls_form_output
          EXCEPTIONS
            usage_error        = 1
            system_error       = 2
            internal_error     = 3.
        IF sy-subrc <> 0.
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
    * Close the spool job
    CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_CLOSE'.
    Now, the variable LS_FORM_OUTPUT-PDF contains the PDF output in XSTRING. My question is how can I download this as a PDF file to my local machine.
    Kind Regards,
    Shailesh.

    hi guys,
    im using all FM to download my PDF adobe but in this part :

    is_address_type          = '1'.
    is_address_number        = '22515'.
    is_person_number         = '22517'.
    is_country               = 'IN'.
    *&--- Call the generated function module
    CALL FUNCTION '/1BCDWB/SM00000200'
       EXPORTING
    *   /1BCDWB/DOCPARAMS        =
         it_spfli                 = it_spfli

         is_person_number         = is_person_number
         is_country               = is_country
      IMPORTING
        /1bcdwb/formoutput       = fp_formoutput
      EXCEPTIONS
        usage_error              = 1
        system_error             = 2
        internal_error           = 3
        OTHERS                   = 4
    I have usage_error knowing that the execution of the function module in SE37 pass successfuly and also the execution of the forms .
    in your opinion what can be the problem?
    Kind Regards,

  • Error while determining the form function module

    Hi everyone,
    We are experiencing problems while displaying one adobe form in ESS. It’s the Travel Expense form (PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM). When pressing the button to “Display/Print” the form we get an error message: "Error while determining the form function module", and no form I shown. The ADS server is configured correctly and there are other forms that are actually working, for example the Travel Request form. We are running WAS 7.0 with SP12.
    Anyone has an idea what can cause the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Sophie

    Hi Tushar,
    Your problem is happening because of the applicaiton of an SAP Note. I think PM has nothing to do with this Error. Pl. read the following (which I read this from one SAP website) & check the relevant SAP notes and take action or write to SAP  for solution.
    Symptom
    The posting of goods receipts results in a long runtime.
    Other terms
    ACTUPD, MIGO, performance, material ledger
    Reason and Prerequisites
    The actual costing is active.
    The performance problems usually occur when there are several procurement alternatives or procurement processes (tables CKMLMV001 and CKMLMV002) for certain materials.
    This can be caused by implementing the modification according to Note 1017470 or 919869, [...]

  • How to find out which OOTB forms functions have built in parameters

    All,
    Is there a simple way to get a list of EBS R12 form functions that have parameters already built in. I have built an integration from OBIEE T navigate to a EBS Form and pass a parameter. I am looking for a simple way to get a list of all the FORM FUNCTIONS that have parameters and what those parameter names are? Is there a SQL query or a simple way in the GUI that I can get this information? I have access to FOrms Personalization but I cannot edit the forms as I dont have Forms Builder.
    For example the following form function PA_PAXTRAPE_SINGLE_PROJECT has a parameter PROJECT_NUMBER. SImilarly, how can I get a list of other forms that have parameters I can pass from external programs (without editing the form itself).
    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply Brynjar.
    However, I was trying to figure out a way to do this without having to change the calling command line, because due to legacy reasons, it is not possible to change the command line calling the parent applications of this common code.You cannot change the command line, but you can change the applications?
    In main() do this:
    System.setProperty("whoami",(new Throwable().getStackTrace()[0].getClassName()));Elsewhere:
    String whoami = System.getProperty("whoami");

  • How to setup a forms function in R12 to launch an URL?

    Hi All,
    In 11i we could create a forms function of the type "SSWA plsql function" to launch a html page from the menu.
    How is that supposed to work in R12?
    So my question is, how to setup a forms function to launch an URL like www.oracle.com in R12?
    thanks,
    thierry

    Hi, first set the Profile 'Restricted Text Input' to 'No' for your User.
    Then create a form function like below:
    Functional Administrator > Core Services > Function > Create (button)
    Name: XX_GOOGLE
    Code: XX_GOOGLE
    Type: SSWA jsp function
    Maintenance Mode Support : none
    Context Dependance: Responsibility
    (press continue button)
    HTML Call: javascript:void window.open("http://www.google.com")
    Leave other fields blank
    Add to HR_EMPLOYEE_DIRECT_ACCESS_V4.0 menu:
    500 XX Google XX_GOOGLE
    This will pop up your external webpage in a new window.
    The issue is that it only works from the Navigator framework page (not from within Core Forms)

    Mike
