Plug-in (reverb) stops working on a track

Can anybody explain why a reverb setting would suddenly stop working on a specific audio track? I have 8 audio tracks, some with Goldverb, some without, and suddenly those tracks that had it stopped having reverb at all, even though the setting is still set properly.

had that a couple of times, too.
i am not really able to explain it, but just hitting stop and then play again would do it sometimes. if not, closing and opening the song again is another option.
last but not least, if none of this helps, quit logic and reopen the song again, everything should run as expected then.
hope this helps a bit, would also be curious for an explanation or definite solution though.

Flash Player plug-in has stopped working

Hello,
It's about 1-2 months that I have this constant problem with Flash Player plug-in.
It occurs me (sometimes as soon as the page charges) everytime while I'm playing browser games (like FB ones, Anno-Online, Drakensang Online...) and, maybe, twice, while watching videos: grey screen "Flash Player plug-in has stopped working". Refreshing the page isn't the solution because every very few minutes we're there again and again.
I already tried almost everything but nothing seems to help me:
- uninstalling and reinstalling it
- uninstalling and installing older version (10.3)
- trying other browser (exact same problem with Google Chrome)
- disabled protection and even uninstalled my antivirus
- followed this (http://helpx.adobe.com/it/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html) and a lot of other "guides"
- disabled every other plug-in
- formatted my hard disk and reinstalled my OS (not because of this problem, but neither this fixed the situation)
And I can't remember if I am missing some other try.
Is there something I can do to fix this problem? It's getting really annoying.

Well, I don't know if the crashes occur with 10.3 too, because the games didn't load and a message tells me to upgrade my FP to a newer version of it.

I don't have any sort of steps to follow, to me it occurs very very soon (few minutes, like 2 or 3) every single time I try to play one of these game during normal game actions. After that, if I reload the page, sometimes FP crashes while the game is still loading, otherwise it'll crash while playing again.
The firts times this problem occured to me, I used to reload the page many times to regularly end with a system crash and BSoD. So, these last weeks I give up as soon as it crashes first time.
Hope you can reproduce it and do something.

Adobe reader has stopped working when opening tracker [vista & reader x]

Hello all,
I'm a developer and im constantly uninstalling and reinstalling reader x and acrobat pro x, but i typically have both installed. Recently, i uninstalled both reader x and acrobat x via Add/Remove Programs in windows Vista, and then later reinstalled them both, and now when i click the adobe tracker icon in my systray, it says adobe reader has stopped working. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and then rebooting, but that doesn't seem to help. Event viewer says:
Faulting application AcroRd32.exe, version 10.0.1.434, time stamp 0x4d456f48, faulting module mshtml.dll, version 9.0.8080.16413, time stamp 0x4d4cefa9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x002be0d0, process id 0x1674, application start time 0x01cc04f02e5354a8.

This is strange. Can you try a couple of things:
1. Try launching Tracker in Acrobat. In Acrobat X, you will find it in Comment pane->Review->Track Reviews
2. Launch Reader in non-sandbox mode. For this, launch Reader and uncheck the option 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' in Reader Preferences->General. Close and re-launch Reader. Now launch Tracker.
Does it still crash in both the cases?

5.1 Stopped Working - No Voice Track

My 5.1 sound partially stopped working tonight. I was watching football and the voice track stopped on 5.1 mode on my receiver. When I switched to 2.0 on my receiver the voice track came back. I checked other 5.1 channels (CineMax) with the same result - no voice track on 5.1 but resumed on 2.0. I am running an HDMI cable from my STB (QIP7232-P2) to my receiver and HDMI from receiver to TV. I have tried changing the HDMI cable and changed the audio to 'Passthrough' on the hidden menu with the same results.

Update: I tried another option (posted below) and now System Preferences just crashes again, and I lost about 400 album covers in the process, which for some reason are not retrieved by Get Album Artwork. I'm not sure where to find the most important info in the System Preferences crash report, but copied it for future reference if anyone can direct me to it.

Select another screensaver
Quit iTunes
Go to your Music/iTunes/Album Artwork/ folder
Go to Cache folder and move to trash anything you'll find here
Go back to Album Artwork and then move to trash anything you'll find in Download folder
Open iTunes using Option button and then choose your default iTunes Library (Music/iTunes folder)
Choose Albums tab and select all items by Cmd+A
Right click and select download illustration
Have a break with a cup of coffee depending the number of items...
It should work !

Apex Plug-in OrgChart stopped working....!

I followed instructions to create a region with apex plug-in to show the results of a hierarchical query as documented on this link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2011/11-jan/o11browser-195100.html.
It worked intially, but now, for an unknown reason, stopped working... Now it hangs on the loading phase, an the chart never gets displayed.
I have tested with these queries with similar results:

I created a newer version of the OrgChart plugin (http://apex-plugin.com/oracle-apex-plugins/region-plugin/google-visualizations-orgchart_187.html) because it stopped working indeed. Whether the upgrade to 4.1.1 was the cause or Google made some changes is unclear.
You have to use the newer version and change the query so all columns are defined as varchar (so to_char(emp.emno) and to_char(emp.mgr)).
Then it works again - as you can see in the example : http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=24122:3

Reverb not working on recorded tracks

I have a problem. I am trying to add reverb to some audio tracks that I recorded directly into Garageband. I move the slider around and there is no change in the reverb on the track. Also when I am listening to the song and I click on a new vocal present that has reverb built-in then for second or two garageband plays it appropriately with reverb, but within a second or two there is a small click and the reverb is gone. All the other preset effects still work, but the reverb drops out. I can not find anyone else who has had this same problem. I have tried reinstalling Garageband, but it did not work.

Plug stopped working - under warranty?

I purchased an iPad that is still under warranty.
The power plug adapter stopped working.
Will they replace if the iPad is under warranty?

Is it the plug that has stopped working? Or is it possible that the sync/charge cable got damaged and is keeping the iPad from recharging?
If you have access to another cable try it and see what happens.
I don't know if Apple will replace a damaged / defective sync cable or not since they can be kind of fragile. If you don't always unplug it by pulling on the plug and not the cord you can easily damage it.

Firefox stops working and message comes up saying a plugin has stopped working. How do I fix this?

Itunes stops working as soon as it reads first track while importing CD (APPCRASH). Need help!

Itunes stopped working error comes up as soon as it reads first track while importing CD and needs to close program (APPCRASH). I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes several times - also ran CD diagnostics in iTunes and looks OK. I'm on Vista Home Premium Edition. If it will help I saved the CD Diagnostics from ITunes and the Windows APPCRASH info. I've spend several hours trying to figure this out. Any ideas?

Problem solved! I had my pc plugged into a port replicator to use a bigger screen, etc. When I unplugged it and tried to import the CDs it worked fine. Not sure why I got the error but whenever I get unexpected errors in the future, I will take it off the replicator to eliminate that possibility. Thanks to all who reviewed.

I hate it when updates break things instead of fixing them. Can't Mozilla leave well enough alone? At the very least, each new release should be tested so it works with ALL PREVIOUS extensions!
Wait till you "update" to firefox 4 and EVERYthing breaks, including the buttons that come with it. There is no arrow next to the dropdown button, right clicking the tab bar doesn't bring up the correct menu, but one as though it were the menu bar (which is missing) and the information bar is missing. True, it's fast, but you'll spend weeks getting it to work properly.

Blackberry 9220 track sensor stop working

blackberry curve 9220 is a good set to use, but now i face some problem with track sensor.
once i installed the battery and boot the set, Track sensor works but after some time (approx 15 to 20 mints or some time after an hour) TRACK SENSOR stop moving only click button works.

Reverted Java 6 plug-in stopped working

My Java 6 plug-in (reverted from Java 7) won't work anymore. I've used the reverted Java 6 plug-in for a couple of months but a couple of days ago it stopped working. I know that Apple blocked Java in Safari but it doesnt work in Firefox either.
I've reinstalled Java 6+Java 7u13 multiple times but still Java 6 won't work. I don't get any messages when trying to run applets, its just blanked, i.e. http://javatester.org/version.html doesn't show any information. Everything works fine with Java 7u13 but i have to use Java 6 because of some applications that runs on a platform that requires Java 6.
Anyone with the same problem?

I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.
Hope this helps someone.

Plug-in stopped working in Internet Explorer after upgrade to JDK 1.4.2

I've been struggling with this one for a week now with no success, hope someone can help. I have Windows 2000, SP4, IE5.5, everything was working fine with the initial installation of JRE 1.3.2, then upgrades to 1.3.4, 1.3.7, 1.4.1 and finally 1.4.2. An applet forced an install of 1.3.1_07, and it stopped working, I uninstalled both 1.3.1_07 and 1.4.2 and reinstalled 1.3.1_07, and since then I get a dialog with the message:
Cannot load class sun/plugin/JavaRunTime.
The Bridge was installed at <C:\PROGRA~1\JavaSoft\JRE\1.37DB1~1.1_0> but the class is not there
Modify the registry key to reflect the new bridge location
The key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Plug-in
or change your CLASSPATH to include the new directory

And the dialog title says "Java(TM) Plug-in 1.4 Fatal Error"
BUT 1.4 is uninstalled and totally GONE!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, numerous versions of JDK/JRE, always with the same basic result. Any attempts to install 1.4.x (either JRE or JDK) give this dialog PLUS a series of little dialogs with the header "asdas", and the message "register failk". I've looked through the forums and buglists for this same problem and found a few mentions of it, but there never seems to be any solution given.
And by the way, Mozilla 1.4 works perfectly with all the plug-in versions I've installed.
I'm beginning to believe there's a conspiracy....

These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
Mac OS X:  ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.
