Pop-up window disappeared

Lightroom 5 suddenly not showing the what to edit pop-up window when I chose edit in photoshop cs6. What can I do to have the pop-up window to show?

There are two possibilities here. If you are editing raw images, and Lightroom and camera raw are both up to date, that message will not appear. The other possibility is that when that dialog displayed you checked the "do not show again" check box. If you go to your Lightroom preferences and reset all warnings, that could fix the second possibility.

Sorry, but I have already tried this too and verified that the web addresses are listed as Allow, rather than Block. After restart there was no difference, I still get the disappearing pop-up windows.

Have you heard of any issues like this occurring based on the number of tabs that are open in Firefox?
Just a thought, even though I have not heard of this as an issue before. I keep about 80 tabs open regularly, because of research that I am always conducting (I am a blogger, a writer/author, a technophile-especially Green Tech.,), email, work, etc.?
I do have a check in the box for Firefox to let me know if the number of open tabs is causing slow down or other issues.

A pop-up window appears after log-in and disappears very fast

Hello,
There is an annoying pop-up window appearing in the center of my screen, after each log-in to my account.
It dissappears ultra-quickly after showing up and I'm not physically able to see what it's about. I can't even take a screenshot.
I wonder whether there is a respective .log file or an event viewer, in order to check what this might be and why it's appearing.
I opened up the Logs folder, but I didn't find something useful. Activity Monitor also didn't help.
In Login Iterms, there is only iTunesHelper app, and it has never caused any kind of problem before.
All of my settings haven't been changed since last three weeks, and this is happening for only three days now.
There is only one account on MBP (OS X 10.8.5). If further information is needed, I'll try to provide them.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

I have just started to use Muse for our design agency and learning how to build ourselves a new site, I have managed to create a basic lightbox which contains sliding images, what I need to do now is have a pop up window which goes into detail about the projects, what I would like is a piece of text or icon that when you roll over it and then click a separate window pops up with additional information in, once finished reading the info you can then click to close the box, any advice on how to do this?

The best way to do what you're asking is with the Composition widget. Start with the Tooltip preset, which, by default shows the info on rollover. You can change the option to show on click, which is what you're after. You can also add the close button or have the info disappear on rollout.

Strange split-second pop-up window in Mountain Lion

I have a 2011 MBP 13 and I installed ML on Day one of launch. It's been perfectly fine ever since and I even think that the battery is slightly better.
However, while using the laptop, sometimes, for a split second a window, about 80% the size of the desktop screen appears and disappears, as though a pop-up window opened because I did something. However whenever it happens, I'm usually on sites like Facebook and BBC which don't have such pop-ups.
The pop-up window is always the same size and disappears before I can get a good look at it. I always check to see if it's minimized somewhere like a pop-up windows should but there is no sign of it. It started the day I got ML.
Any ideas?
I'm also had 2-3 hangs with ML, something I never had with Lion. Had to do a hard re-start.

Thanks Clinton my question was more directed at the people who are having the popup because i was wondering if it was due to a specific setup of said CS6.
Another thing to consider to the users who are experiencing the random popup, in prefs > users > login items ... is there anything with a "!" sign next to it on start up? I say this because i found an old program in there which has since been uninstalled (stupidly i removed it before i wrote it down) but it was a time management program to monitor what you do when you're supposed to be working.
Any takers!?

ITunes Glitch? Pop-Up Windows are hidden?

Windows XP Pro - Runs iTunes 7.0.2 just fine - except for the pop up windows in iTunes. A majority of the time a window pops up (are you sure you wish to download this song, or the iPod updates, etc.) the window cycles for just a split second and then disappears. The pop up window is still there, you can't click anything else in iTunes till I close it, I can close it with alt+f4, and when I click anywhere else on the screen it briefly (milliseconds) appears on screen - obviously rendering iTunes features useless, and more importantly ticking me off. I reinstalled iTunes, same problem.
Anyone else even heard of this before? I can't find anything in the forums. I'll take suggestions if you have them - Thanks!

Sounds like some security software is freaking out, because it's not been set up properly for iTunes.

Get rid of pop up window - GarageBand is attempting to complete a download

I tried to download the the free guitar and piano lessons on to my imac at home but was taking forever so I decided to quit the download. So I took my mac book pro to work to download them there because we have even faster internet downloads. So what I did when I got home was copy the lessons from the mac book pro to the imac (Macintosh HD, Library, Application Support, GarageBand, Learn to Play, Basic Lessons). Now when I open Garage Band from the iMac, I can see all the lessons under each tab; Guitar Lessons and Piano Lessons, however I keep getting this pop up window that reads "GarageBand is attempting to complete download. The lesson(s) will be available to use after the download is complete". Well I already copied them over from the laptop. How can I get rid of this window?

Try going to your User Folder and follow this path Library>>Preferences and delete this file com.apple.garageband.plist . This will reset Garageband preferences so if you have any custom preferences they will disappear, but it will reset Garageband as though you never started the download. It will not erase your lesson files though.

Emails in Reminder window disappears after sometime

Hi Team, I am using Outlook 2013 pro plus with office 365 Email Service. My query is
I flag emails as Flag and reminder to it. After perfect time time set as reminder the reminder window pops up correctly. I have multiple reminder set. so the reminder window has many emails with due dates and i dont dismiss them.
After some point of time Many of the emails from the reminder windows disappears.
I dont know the cause of it. does reminder window in outlook is sync with calender settings?
Is there any defualt time in the registry that causes my reminder window emails to disappear? i think emails which are there in reminder should be there intact until and unless i dismiss them.
Troubleshooting Which i had tried is
Creating a new profile
Repaired the office
Ran outlook in safe mode
Ran the switch /resettodobar /ClearReminders
Set all COM Addins to disabled
Disable Hardware Acceleration

If your reminder is not working properly, I would suggest proceeding in the following order: -
First, check if the
Reminders are enabled, and make sure the check-box in the
Calendar section that is labeled “Default Reminders” is
checked.
In that same section, the Reminder time should be set to something reasonable, like 15 minutes.
If that does not fix it, then exit Outlook and restart it from the command line with the
“Outlook/cleanreminders” command.

Create pop-up windows in forms 10g

I have an application in which several formal controls are made before insert/update a record. Some of them are blocking, some others arent.
Actually, at every constraint violation, a message is displayed with an alert. So, the user may got one or more alerts before he succeed in inserting/updating a record. And it may be annoying to click on 'OK' a lot of times!
So, I wish to collect all error message and display them in a window, which is to be displayed in a pop-up way (something like the alerts that appear at the bottom-right corner of our screen when we have new mail).
The issue is that the pop-up window must not disturb the user, i.e it should be displayed and iconized after few seconds, leaving the focus on the main window.
I tried several solutions, but each of them have some issues.
External HTML page: maybe its the easiest solution. But bluring it, the focus doesnt return to the form application.
New window: I can run and iconize it. But, as in the previous case, the main window lost the focus.
New canvas: I put a text item LOG_ERRORS in a new canvas, in the same main window. But when I run it, the main canvas disappear.
does anyone know how to create popup windows in forms 10g (if it is possible)?

You can use a new window and set "Window Style" to "Dialog" then you can show the window without the main-window loosing the focus

Unwanted "Chelsea" pop-up window

I'm a new Mac user - so please forgive me if this turns out to be an elementary question.
When I "boot" up and the desktop appears onscreen I get a pop-up window that reads:-
"None of your trusted wireless networks can be found. Would you like to join the open wireless network named "Chelsea" "
There is the usual "Yes" and "No" option. I click "No" and the window disappears.
A small issue perhaps - but quite annoying. I'd really appreciate any advice as to how to eliminate this window.

Turn Airport off, then locate this file: com.apple.airport.preferences.plist Located here: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/ Drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. Turn Airport back on and see if you get that dialog box.
If that doesn't work, trying using a different user account and see if it happens in that account. If you need to create a new user account here's how to do that:
Adding a new user account to your computer
You can create individual user accounts for each person who uses your computer. Each new user has a separate home folder and can adjust his or her own preferences without affecting other users.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Accounts.
If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type an administrator name and password.
Click Add + and type the user's name.
If you don't want to use the short name generated automatically, type a new short name. (Once the account is created, you won't be able to change the short name.)
Type the user's password in the Password and Verify boxes.
Type a hint to help the user remember the password if they have trouble remembering it at login.
Click Parental Controls and select options to determine what the user can do with the computer.
If you change your mind while you're creating a new user account, click Delete - to cancel.
If you don't experience any glitches in a different user account, then the problem is isolated to your admin account.

TS1702 How to get rid of "Cannot connect to iTunes store" pop-up window

My iPad is showing a pop-up window that says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". I cannot restart my iPad because I can't get the pop-up to disappear... and I cannot slide the power off option because it's blocked by the "Cannot Connect" popup.
When I press the OK button in the pop-up window, it flickers, but does not accept the command.

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

Keychain pop-up window.

Various programs keeps telling me that they want to use a keychain called «CCC». As far as I know, I don't have a keychain at all, and certainly not one called «CCC». The pop-up window tells me to type in a password, I've tried every password I've ever had in my life, but nothing works! The pop-up window used to disappear if I clicked cancel, but now, as Google Chrome is asking me, it just keeps poping up
Can anyone pleas help me?

How to use one pop up window for multiple buttons and input fields?

Hi Experts,
I have created a pop up window that will be opened from multiple buttons in the same view. There are input fields that the data will be populated from a pop up window. How can I set up which button that a pop up window is opened from? I also would like to populate the data from a pop up window to the input field next to a clicked button. There are 6 buttons and 6 input fields that share the same pop up window. I would very appreciate your responses.

Hi,
Try creating 2 context attributes, one in your component controller and the other in the pop-up view. Bind the attribute of pop-up view to the component controller attribute.
In the main view, on click of every button set a unique code in the controller's context which helps you in identifying the button clicked. Since u have created a binding to the pop-up view attribute the value flows from the controller.
In the init method of your pop-up view, check the value of the attribute and based on that display which ever UI elements are required.
Eg:
On Button 1 click set value "B1", Button 2 value "B2" etc. In the init() of pop-up view u can check the values and perform the required operation:

Since installing 3.6.9 my Joomla content editor pop-up windows no longer return the URLs selected

I recently upgraded to Firefox 3.6.9 and found that when using the editor in a Joomla 1.0.15 website , the content editor pop-up windows no longer return URLs selected (eg: image or file URL to be used in a link). I have been using the site with no problems for many years, and the problem was cured when I reinstalled 3.6.8

Thanks cor-el but the problem is not in my web development but is a new issue/problem in FireFox which was not present in all versions up to and including version 3.6.8 and was only introduced in version 3.6.9. I have also established that the same problem also exists in FireFox version 4 beta 6 and have therefore also raised a second question today.
My understanding was that I should raise these issues in this forum, but I will also check out the other forum.

Creation of a pop-up window

Dear All,
We have a issue like this: Say, there is a Customer who has given an order of ABC product 10 packs to the sales employee. And the order is placed on say 15.09.2011 and as we could not produce the product the next two days also, the product is not delivered to the customer. So again on 17.09.2011, when the customer is giving order to the sales employee he gives the same order again. And the same order is posted again. This is causing wrong data in Net Pending Sales orders.
I have three options now:
1. Block the order using SP_TransactionNotification, but this way the order gets stalled.
2. Setting up an alert.
3. Setting up for an approval procedure.
Our team does not want any of the above, instead they would like to see a pop up window which gives the info that the same product and quantity there is an open order existing for the same customer. And pop up should have Yes and No button, clicking on Yes the new order gets added and No will return to the order, where the row is deleted and added again.
Our SAP version is SAP B1 8.81 PL 06 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. Do we have any way to achieve this.

The same thing you can achieve through SDK.
You need to set a small addon for this in order to get the Pop Up which checks whether the Order for the same combination does exist or not.....
