I have tried with the username, full email address (which is used as a login), domain\username, nothing seems to do the trick. Any idea what could be wrong? Just to let you know I have manually updated the text in the asterix to omit domain name and username.

I have been struggling to get a powershell script to work.
I have a web-based page which ends in .cgi and I want to copy the text from that page to a CSV file.
Normally the below script works for .html or .aspx types of pages but this time I have been getting the 'The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized' page. I think the error is because the page is Unix based and for some reason I am not
able to automate the authentication process.
Below is the Powershell script I have been using. I have already created the securestring for my password and saved in a temp folder.

i am trying to build script that read the data from CSV file, the only data exist on this file is the EmployeeID.
so i need to read the EmployeeID and for each employeeID exist in this sheet in need to disable that user and change the Description to "Disabled based on the HR Request"

That's not necessary. The filtering is done serverside, so you don't need to request that it be returned.
Example:
Get-ADUser -Filter "Title -eq 'Some Title In Your Company'"
Title isn't a default property, but the command above works just fine.

How to dynamically and selectively update DSO based on values in a csv file

Hi,
I'm loading a csv file into a DSO. When loading the flat file in FULL mode I need to do a pseudo delete of records that were previously loaded but are not in the new flat file.
Is it possible to dynamically determine the unique set of records (say Pk1, Pk2, Pk3) in the csv file and then set all the corresponding DSO records' quantities to 0 - maybe in a start routine?? After that, I can load the csv file with the correct quantities (effectively update and inserts). The net result should be that the change log only be updated through to the next DSO.
Example: Load 10 records yesterday. Today reload 9 records. 10th records must have quantity set to 0. Other 9 records will have quantity values set to those in today's csv file - some will be the same & some will be different. The net change log of all 10 records must be loaded into the next DSO.
Any suggestions on how to do this logic?

Hi Gregg,
You can create one transformation from the DataStore to itself. In the "Technical" rules group, set 0RECORDMODE = 'X' (before image) or 'R' (reverse). Therefore, when you execute its corresponding DTP, all existing records shouldl be set to zero.
Then, as a second step, you can execute the DTP which is related to the transformation between the DataStore and the DataSource, thus loading the new records.

Route Pattern CSV File Removes "0" from Called Party Prefix Digits Field

I want to upload over 350 route patterns using BAT Tool in CUCM 9.1. All patterns must have their Called Party Prefix Digits (Outgoing Calls) Field containing 10 numbers with the number "0" at the begining. The Problem is the CSV file removes the leading "0" form the digits. I tried to make the cell type in Excel as "Text" and it worked and the "0" is kept normally, but when I save and close the file then open it again, the cell is defaulted to "General" type and the "0" is disappeared again! Changing the CSV file format to any other one and uploading it to CUCM system generates an error stating that the file format is not supported.
Attached is a sample entry of the CSV file. I want to preserve the whole number "0541234567" in "PREFIX_DIGITS_CALLED_PARTY" Field.
Anyone can help me how to upload this big number of route patterns while preserving the number "0" at the begining?

Make sure you change the csv file when using Excel to "Text" on the cell where the string starts with 0, otherwise Excel assumes this is a number and strips it.

I have a form that I created on Portal 3.0.7. On the form is a LOV which has a list of employees. I want to populate another
field on the form which is office and it is based on the employee LOV selection. I also want the field to be filled immediately,
not after a button is pressed or any other user intervention. I have been able to do this with a dependent LOV, but it does not look
appealing. Both of the fields are coming from the same table. It seems like this should be easy to do, but I am not
having much luck. Can someone please tell me the best way to accomplish this.

In Radio Group you will need to identify the button clicked from its ID and / or value. Thats because the Radio Group Item creates as many IDs / Items as there are options P1_ITEM_0, P1_ITEM1_1, etc.

How to populate the new field of R/3 in BW

There was a requirement to modify the sap screen in the R/3.
For the same a new field is created which populate the data via a table in R/3.
Now I have to populate the same field in BW. I am working on 3.5 Version.
In R/3 I have a data source and I am not able to see the same available in the data source
The field is available in the extract structure but I am unable to populate the same in the data source.

End Routine to populate custom AFS field for Billing Item extractor

I have the following scenario for Billing 2LIS_13_VDITM datasource

I need to populate the AFS_field in the first row also for all Doc Nos for certain Item categories (eg 123 & 456). I need to do this on the first transformation from PSA to DSO. I was planning to write a SELECT statement in the Start Routine with the PSA table as the reference as seen below and then write an End Routine calling this reference table. But the PSA table name is different in Dev, QA and Prod so I cannot use this.

you want to populate the AFS field value in DSO right?
1. First you have to add AFS field in ur DSO
2. Write the Start routine based on ur scenario(select the data based on ur scenario and put into internal table).
3. wirte AFS field leval transfer routine(Read the corresponding record based on docu num,item num) pass into RESULT.

Based on your description, my understanding is that you want to achieve that the second dropdown gets populated depending on what the first dropdown is set to.
To achieve your requirement, creating cascading dropdown fields with InfoPath.

Populate Combo Box field into another field

I've got a form (form1) based off a table (table1). In the form I have a field from table1 called
bagtype that is a combobox type field with a row source from another table with two fields that show up in the drop down box when selected. When I select a field from the dropdown box only the first field populates the actual form field
(and underlying table) which is what I want. What I'd also like to happen is the second field of the combo box that doesn't populate the bagtype field is for it to populate another field (from table1) on the same form and store that
value in the underlying table as well. The other field in the form is called
AStd.

you need 1 line of VBA code in the AfterUpdate event of the combo box:
Me!NameOfTheTargetFieldOrControl = Me!BagType.Column(1)
The column index is zero based i.e. 0 = first column of the combo box, 1 = second column etc.

To populate a Tlist item, do the following:
1. Create a TLIST item in the EMP block. and give it a height to accommodate several names.
2. Using the TLIST property pallete:
a. Set the Column Name property to EMPNO
b. Click on the Elements in List property. Delete each List Element and delete each List Item Value. If you don't do this you will get an error when you compile.
3. Create a record group using this query:
select ename, to_char(empno) from emp
4. Create a WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE trigger, and place this code inside the trigger:

Can I populate a text field in one PDF with the modification date of a different file ?

Rather convoluted problem here but I'm trying to place a text field on a PDF document that serves as the main menu page for a library of interlinked PDF documents
The complete library contains over 7,000 files and additions are added and documents changed almost daily.
We currently use batch files to open the main menu from it's shortcut and this runs a check on a sync log file (.txt) to ascertain when the last time the user synchronised with the server to get the latest copy of the files.
Between a certain time range they are told how long it has been since they sync'ed and are offered the option to sync before opening, after a prescribed timeframe they cannot enter without synchronising. We use Allways Sync to conduct the file synchronisation with our mother files on our server.
What I'd like to do is take advantage of Allways Syncs automatic synchronisation options to synchronise on log on and at prescribed idle periods there after.
This works fine but I'd like the text field on the main menu PDF to say when the last synchronisation took place - easy if the main menu is the last file modified .. just use info.modDate.
However, the main menu is rarely modified therefore I wish to import the text to populate the text field from a different file.. either by interrogating the other files modifictaion data (though I doubt Acrobat can do this) or by simply importing some text stored in another file (a .txt file?) which has previously been created by batch file commands.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just to confirm your advice, am I right with the following conclusions? :
1. The script (function) to fill the text field with the modification date of a different PDF file needs to be stored in a folder level .js file.
2. The document containing the text field needs to call the .js function either within the document script or within the custom script property of the text field itself.
Further to that can you just advise on the syntax for accessing the modification date of the other document.
Do I need to assign a variable to the address of the file to be used, and then use this variable in the text form filling script (as below) or can I use a direct file reference at the .modDate command.
