Populating the table with values in a jsp

need help...
i have a jsp with 2 textboxes lastname and firstname and a button submit.
wen i click on submit i should get a table on the same jsp below the submit button and it should be populated with the values entered in the textboxes.
Can you pl help me out the the functionality of populating the textboxes?

add a onclick function to button...on that onclick u hav e to populate a div with fname and lname
in tat new div giv bean :write so tat u can get wat u have entered in above text boxes

WD4A with ALV, populating the header with values from the table

I have WDA application that list schedule agreement headers in one ALV and when you select one the line items show in the second ALV2 below. We show quantity and net value in 13 monthly buckets beginning with the validity data. The function returns the month text in columns I want to change the header based on the months returned. So instead of QNTY1, QNTY2 it would be 01/2008, 01/2008 etc. But ALV2 is initialized when the page is built and if I change the ALV2 settings after the line item function call they are not updated. On the page. Is there anyway I can do this???
It tried put the code in the EXECUTE function method, and I tried WDMODIFYVIEW but the ALV is not refreshed.

Thanks for your help, I know I am probably doing something dumb but it is driving me crazy.
I have debugged I can see the text change in the debugger but it doesn't show up on the screen. I removed the code from from the WDDOINIT. So am doing everything in the ONACTIONGETDETAIL to ensure that it is not being overwritten. I can change the 'number of lines', remove print button, change a field to an icon etc, but the column header doesn't change. If I put the same code in the WDDOINIT the column header does change. Everything else works in both places.

Import the table with 0 rows

Hi
I have a problem to import a dump that contains the tables with 0 rows.
When i exported from ORACLE 11.2 64 bit on SERVER 2008 i noticed that log didn't confirm the tables with 0 rows.
When i want to import to ORACLE 11.2 64 bit on other SERVER 2008 i have a lot of errors on this tables with 0 rows.
In the log i get the same tables with 1 row at least, but no one with 0 rows.
I open my dump in TEXTPAD and i see it contains "CREATE ....." these tables.
I don't understand why it happens. I used FUll DUMP by SYS, it didn't help.
This is not first time when i export and import dumps,no errors.
I'm using command "EXP" and "IMP" and every time it's ok.(IF it's a releavent)
Why it happens? any solutions for this issue?

I've found (i guess so) solution to this issue
here are two links to this new feature that is called deffered segment creation
The reason for this behavior is 11.2 new feature ‘Deferred Segment Creation‘ – the creation of a table sent is deferred until the first row is inserted.
As a result, empty tables are not listed in dba_segments and are not exported by exp utility

Beginning in Oracle Database 11g Release 2, when creating a non-partitioned heap-organized table in a locally managed tablespace, table segment creation is deferred until the first row is inserted. In addition, creation of segments is deferred for any LOB columns of the table, any indexes created implicitly as part of table creation, and any indexes subsequently explicitly created on the table.The advantages of this space allocation method are the following:A significant amount of disk space can be saved for applications that create hundreds or thousands of tables upon installation, many of which might never be populated.Application installation time is reduced.There is a small performance penalty when the first row is inserted, because the new segment must be created at that time.
To enable deferred segment creation, compatibility must be set to '11.2.0' or higher. You can disable deferred segment creation by setting the initialization parameter DEFERRED_SEGMENT_CREATION to FALSE. The new clauses SEGMENT CREATION DEFERRED and SEGMENT CREATION IMMEDIATE are available for the CREATE TABLE statement. These clauses override the setting of the DEFERRED_SEGMENT_CREATION initialization parameter.
+Note that when you create a table with deferred segment creation (the default), the new table appears in the _TABLES views, but no entry for it appears in the SEGMENTS views until you insert the first row. There is a new SEGMENTCREATED column in _TABLES, _INDEXES, and _LOBS that can be used to verify deferred segment creation+
Note:
The original Export utility does not export any table that was created with deferred segment creation and has not had a segment created for it. The most common way for a segment to be created is to store a row into the table, though other operations such as ALTER TABLE ALLOCATE EXTENTS will also create a segment. If a segment does exist for the table and the table is exported, the SEGMENT CREATION DEFERRED clause will not be included in the CREATE TABLE statement that is executed by the original Import utility.

How to prevent B1 from populating the grid with components?

Hello group,
We have customized a form that pops up when user enters a parent item (of a template-type BOM) in the quotation grid. The form displays the component items and lets the user mark which items to "paste" onto the quotation. However, B1 automatically populates the grid with the component items once focus moves away from the item code column.
<b>How to prevent B1 from populating the grid with components <i>while</i> retaining the parent item in the item code column?</b> I've tried trapping the Validate event, etc. with no success.

Instead of setting the parent item up as a template type BOM, you could set up the list of parent/child items on a user table and use this user table to display the items in your pop-up screen. As the parent item would no longer be a template BOM, Business One would no longer automatically popuplate the grid, and you could write your own code to add only the items selected in your pop-up screen into the grid.

Please explain your requirement clearly so that we can help you easily.
To get the table records from your context node use method get_static_attributes_table()
data lo_nd_mynode type ref to if_wd_context_node.
data lt_atrributes_table type wd_this->elements_mynode.
lo_nd_mynode = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_mynode ).
lo_nd_mynode->get_static_attributes_table( importing table = lt_atrributes_table ).
Note: You should have already defined your context node as a Dictionary Structure.

We get this error when we try to check the properties of an analysis server using SQL Server Management studio(right click the instance name
and check properties). We have resolved this issue twice by Stopping the SQL Server analysis service,removing db folders from Analysis Server Data folder and starting the services back on. The db folder that we removed was advised by the BI team.

If I understanding correctly, you encounter the error randomly, now what you want it that avoid this issue completely, other than stop the services, detele the db filder and restart the services, right?
The error might be caused by that the data file is corrupted. However, we cannot give you the exact reason that cause this issue. You can troubleshoot this issue by using the Windows Event logs and msmdsrv.log.
You can access Windows Event logs via "Administrative Tools" --> "Event Viewer". SSAS error messages will appear in the application log.
The msmdsrv.log file for the SSAS instance that can be found in \log folder of the instance. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Log)

2) Using pgmna retrieve from tadir table by using the following criteria from tadir table
pgmid = 'R3TR'
AND object = 'PROG'
AND obj_name = tstc-pgmna.
We will get development class or package in tadir i.e
tadir-devclass

I created two Varrays

now i inserted some rows into ee table and displayed it as:

and when i try to display the table data by:

it only displays the rows that contain all the details like
ID COLUMN_VALUE COLUMN_VALUE
4 1111 aasda
4 2222 aasda
4 33334 aasda
and not all the rows that are in the table which have id and phone and email as NULL
need help to display all the rows in the table.

Populating the cache with VPD tables fails

Using the Add Tables wizard I am trying to add tables to an Oracle Database cache. The tables have had RLS policies applied using the DBMS_RLS package. The Add Tables wizard fails with an ORA-28112 error (failed to execute policy function).
Are there any known problems with cacheing tables of a virtual private database?
Of course we want to cache an entire table, not just a portion as defined by that table's security policy. We have a procedure call that can cause the security policy to return a null predicate (effectively turning off security for all tables). We have set up a logon trigger to run this procedure for the user that populates the cache (we have done this successfully for other users), but we still get the error.
Any help?

In my opinion you should look first into the trace files. They are generally located under
USER_DUMP_DEST directory. I believe that this error normally generates a trace file. So in the trace file you can see that it was trying to do and what happened. Also this may be happening due to some permission problems as well e.g. logged user versus policy user etc.
