Popup window problem after search

There is a page for search.
In the page,There are some input field for inputting some search condition.
if the search result was 0, no popup window opens.
But,when the search result > 0, it is needed to display search result in a popup window.
I controll this by setting flag to the Backing bean in the search method and open popup with javascript using onload like this.

But thre is a problem in this way.
I search once and poupup window appears.
this has no proble.
But, When I searched again with error input,
the validator messages are displayed and popup window appears
because of remaining the popupFlag value.
In this case, there is no need to open popup window.
Someone knows solution or better way to controll popup window?

Hi siva,
This is the standard pop-up to search any string on the list output. If you want to make it 5 characters long, then you have to implement the user exit (screen exit). since it is the standard screen, I dont think it is so easy to extend the screen field upto 5 characters long.
BTW you can enter max 999 hits. if you have a list output more than 1000 lines then you can use the checkbox starting at current line for doing a search starting again from 1000th line till the end line. This way you can search 'N' numbers of lines.
To summarize you have to do a search after each 999 hits e.g. your 999 hits has been completed on 500th line then you need to put the cursor on 501th line and then again do a search using the checkbox starting at current line.
If you have any more doubts then please let me know.

MacKeeper Ads, Popup Windows problem - Any Solution?

Hi,
I have a problem with 'MacKeeper'.
It opens popup windows, shows link ads on any webpage I visit, distorts google search results etc.
This happens not only on Safari, but also on Chrome & Firefox.
I have tried to clear any spam-looking files from the /Library folder (there's nothing with the name mackeeper, zeobit etc.), also have cleared the cache of Safari, Chrome & Firefox.
I do not know how to find and remove this unwanted app, program or extension or whatever you may call it from my mac.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Note: I have never installed MacKeeper, so I can not uninstall it.

You installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

if the user info is in a bean, you can write it out:
function AppSubmit() {
str1 = "welcome, <bean:write name="UserContainer" property="userView.firstName" scope="session"/> ...";
The javascript code will is interpreted only on the browser, it has no idea that it was written with fixed strings or inserted from the bean.
If the user info is in form fields, you can do something like this:
function AppSubmit() {
str1 = "welcome, " + document.forms['myform'].username.value + " ...";
...

How come I am not able to prevent Firefox from allowing popup windows even after I enter the website address under Security?

I have been using Firefox on a Mac computer for a number of years and have been happy with it. I have recently gone to a different trading platform called Trademonster.com and am having issues with its operation. When I call Trademonster, they told me that my Firefox must allow pop-up windows to operate. I do notice that when I log on to Trademonster on Firefox, it does say ".. Firefox prevented 2 pop-up windows from opening". I have gone to Preferences and under Security entered trademonster.com as a site to have access but I am still getting the signal that Firefox is preventing popup windows from coming up on the trading platform.
PLEASE HELP.

Mac uses the Menu bar and doesn't have the Firefox menu button.
You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the <b>about:permissions</b> page.

You can inspect and manage the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:
*Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar
*Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
*Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab
Delete the permissions.sqlite file to reset all permissions.

EXS24 Problems After searching forum....

So after looking through all the good advice on here I'm still a little bit stumped. I want to create new exs instruments with samples that I have on my firewire drives, and consolidate both the instruments themselves and the samples for the instruments to one external drive.
Can't I create the aliases in the App supp/ Logic Sampler Instruments and EXS Factory Samples folders pointing to the proper folders on my consolidated externa drive?
When I do this and try to recall an instrument I can trigger it with the mouse but not my keyboard..
Could somebody walk me through the steps to save an instrument along with its samples to an external drive?

If you create your own user instruments, the samples will remain where they originated unless you tell them to move. So if they are in a folder on your external drive that’s where they will remain. However the Instrument file for the ESX will be under: user/library/application support/logic/sampler instruments. if you want to move these files I believe you can. After moving them to the new location create an alias of the folder and then put the alias back in place where the sample folder was
if you want to move the factory ESX samples to your other drive you can do this also the same way. These are located at: Library/application support/logic/ESX factory samples

X windows problems after installation

I have a Matrox G200 video card. During the installation the video
kdmconfig runs properly and X starts fine. However once the system if installed X will not start.
Running X I get message:
MATROX,19: G200 ...
Failed to set default font path '.....bunch of paths
One of the directories in the list above does not exist or it does not
contain a valid 'font.dir' file
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
Now I check all the path and ran mkfontdir in all the directories but I
still get the error. I looked for the 'fixed' font but could not find one
of that name.

How to get F4 help in popup window

Hi all,
I have to show a popup window after I click on SAVE button of a standard transaction CV01n. I am using BADI for this purpose. I am able to display popup for taking input as "user name". But problem is that I need to provide F4 help to the input field of popup window. After I press F4 I need to display user names which I have stored in one Z table. As I am writing code in BADI i am not able to write any sub-routine or not able to call any sub-screen/selection-screen etc.
Please tell me how can I provide F4 help to the input fields of popup window.

Photoshop elements 7 won't activate on windows 7 after my computer crashed

i had photoshop elements 7 installed on my windows 7 computer and everything worked fine.
then my computer crashed and i had to reinstall windows 7. but when i tried entering my serial number now, it wouldn't accept it, even though on my account it says that the serial number is correct and working.
customer service told me i had to ask you guys on forum.

Actually I found the problem after searching through the forum list - it was the solution to reset the organizer's online-services state.
Right, that was the step 7 I referred to.
Is there a known problem with this feature? I definitely am leery of ordering prints through the organizer field again.
Yes, it's been a known problem in the Organizer since at least PSE 6 (2007), with an Adobe tech note describing the problem and the workaround:

Like most bugs in the Organizer, Adobe has explicitly chosen not to fix it.
The problem appears to occur when an upload to a service is interrupted or fails. The workaround, deleting those files, seems pretty reliable.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to load the popup window without postback.
Postback can be disabled by adding the following line to the function which handles the click event of the server side button.

Internet Explorer message "refer to popup window"

Hi everyone,
Value some help please. When visiting my work's website with Internet Explorer on a new Lumia 625, the message "refer to popup window" appears after I log in. Unfortunately, unlike using a desktop or laptop, no new tab appears. A new tab does appear when I log on with an Android device, so I know it is possible for a mobile phone. Grateful in advance for ideas.

Welcome to Nokia Support Discussions.
You can try changing the website preference from the mobile version to desktop version under settings> swipe left to applications and select Internet Explorer. Also, try downloading another web browser from the Store and see if it works.

Popup windows are small and cannot be resized in Firefox v31.0. v30.0 and earlier does not have this problem. Example: Hostgator's SmarterMail. XP, 7, 8.1.

My webmail interface is SmarterMail from Plesk as supplied by Hostgator. When Firefox updated to v31.0, I lost the ability to send mail because the popup windows for "New", "Reply", "Reply All", and "Forward" are too small to enter information and cannot be resized or maximized.
This problem does not occur with older versions of Firefox (tested 16.0.2, 21.0, 24.0, and 30.0) or with Chrome or Internet Explorer. While I am writing to you from a Windows XP Pro SP3 system, I have also verified the problem under Windows 7 Pro (x64) and Windows 8.1 (x64).
It's not profile settings, malware, or add-ons. I've tried Firefox Safemode and I've tried "Reset Firefox".
For the time being the workaround is to disable Firefox updates and downgrade everybody with v31 to v30. Please fix this ASAP. You have lots of people reporting it.

As a temporary workaround, you can block website scripts from resizing windows. It's a bit of a sledgehammer, but another user who has this problem indicated that it does stop the SmarterMail script from rolling up the window.
Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''dom''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''dom.disable_window_move_resize''' preference to switch it from false to true.

I am getting the popup window that says my startup disk full even after deleting many files.

I am getting the popup window that says my startup disk is almost full. I have transfered most of my photos to an external HD, deleted most of my iTunes library, and emptied the trash. The problem is that with these steps, the diskspace did not increase at all-not even a megabyte. Any ideas why or how to fix it?

i have a jsp page called index.jsp.
in that jsp page i have an hyperlink..if i click on this it opens a popup window.in this popup window we have some values allowed to user to modify.after entering the values in popup window he clicks update then the values are updated and the window is closed and the index.jsp page is refreshed.
how can do this.

I'm having the same problem in other places as well, for example when i downloaded Easyfind right now, clicking the small magnifying glass button on the right of the file name (shown below) would usually open up finder highlighting the file, but now nothing happens when i click on that button!
Is there a solution for this, as this was a very useful feature which i used ALL the time?
