"Port overlap occured" error with WRT54G2 v1 firmware 1.0.03

Question

I'm trying to port forward the below ports. Problem is that it says "port overlap occured, please change your entry". I've tried with UPnP enabled/disabled and static ip address. No difference.
Can anyone help me?

TCP: 10622, 8040 - 8047, 80
UDP: 1024-65535
TCP and UDP: 6881-6889 and 6969

Hello deepz9, the reason why you're getting "port overlap occurred,..." because the ports was not entered properly. By the way, what type of device are you using? Is that a gaming console or a PC? If you open ports you need to assign static ip to your device in order to avoid connection problems because if the device is on DHCP then it'll get a different IP the next time you turn it on. Try to follow this steps on how to forward the ports into your router.
> access web UI of your router
> go to Applications & Gaming
> on the Port Range Forward page do this settings(by row):
For TCP

 That should fix your ports! Don't forget to click on Save Settings button at the bottom.
