Portal API Documentation for 4.5ws
Hi,
Can anybody help me find Portal API documentation for 4.5ws on this site.
Thank you,
Lakshmi Narayana
And because there are broken links like the "Provider Defnition XML Tag Reference v2" at

Where is the XML tag reference?

Where to find the API documentation for MS SQL Server 2000 JDBC
I Downloaded and installed the MS SQL Server 2000 JDBC package, but I found that it does not provide enough help docs such as API documentation, demo and etc.
It would be most grateful if you would provide some information about this driver.Thank your for your kind attention.
For example, I want to get a ConnectionPoolDataSource object to get a PooledConnection object, but I don't know which class implements the interface.
import java.sql.*;
import javax.sql.*;
import <classes related to connection pooling>;
ConnectionPoolDataSource cpds = new <MS impl>;
<lines for setURL()/setUser()/setPassword, etc>
PooledConnection pc = cpds.getPooledConnection();

Where's the Oracle Forms Java API documentation for 11g?
Hi,
Can anyone point me in the direction of the Oracle Forms Java API documentation?
The only thing I can find is this: http://www.oratransplant.nl/1012jdapiDoc/oracle/forms/jdapi/JdapiModule.html but this seems to be for 10.1.2 and it doesn’t correspond to the version I’m using (11.1.1.3).
Help appreciated,
Donal.i couldn't find the api either however if you implement the class you will simply get compiler errors explaining what you left out.

MIDP 2.0 http://www.jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/final/jsr118/ -
Do you know where can I get from some documentation (as a file, not online) about Portal Java API (Classes, objects, such things).
For example I want to create my own search portlet, but I haven't information about how to access the portal objects (pages, items, and so on).

Unable to download the Java 6 JDK API documentation
Hi,
now that all the stuff is on Oracle, I'm unable to download the Java 6 API documentation for offline use. NetBeans (an Oracle product after all) requires a local copy to show JavaDoc with code completion.
Is anyone able to point me to the correct download location? I've browsed the new JDK download page many times and haven't found it.
Thank you.What about [here?|http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/documentation/apis-139520.html]
It wasn't that hard to find.
Oops, the requirement wasn't for java ee.

Hello,
I have downloaded and installed the Sun Directory Server Enterprise Edition from the tar distribution. I have found the client API documentation for java, but I cann't seem to find the C API documentation. I have found the C examples, and the Javadoc, but no C documentation. I have to write clients for both C and Java applications so I need both.
The documentation pointed to by http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/coll/1224.3 "Sun Java System Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.2 Developer's Guide" only appears to be for server plugin development. Can someone point me to a 6.2 client API developers guide or something.
ThanksWell I think I've found the latest documentation from http://wiki.mozilla.org/LDAP_C_SDK. I've putted the files from the CVS repository but cann't seem to get them converted from docbook format to html or pdf. I've tried using xstlproc and fop and get lots of parsing errors when run against the 00-Programmers-Guide.book file.
Here is the command I'm using and the errors I'm receiving:

Documentation for Service Contract API
Hi All,
Sub: Any Documentation For The Public API's OKS_CONTRACTS_PUB,
OKC_CONTRACTS_PUB.
Firstly i would like to say Thank You for spending your valuable time for this Query.
Introduction:
Currently i am working in Oracle Service Contracts module, which is Oracle
Application's CRM module.
Specifications:
oracle application version: 11.5.10.2
Data Base version: oracle 9.2.0.6
Problem:
We are trying to integrate the Service Contracts through following Public API's
with web.
API's are:
OKS_CONTRACTS_PUB,
OKC_CONTRACTS_PUB.
I search so much to the documentation for these API's, but i did not get any thing.
I search in Oracle Meta Link, Google.
Could you help If any Documentation If you find (or) you have ?

Create a portal/front end for ADF Panels.
Hi All,
I have developed an ADF app which consists of several ADF Panels, each ADF Panel allows the user to run a few simple queries against an Oracle database done using ADF view objects and ADF view links and one single ADF application module. I then drag and drop these ADF Panels into a single ADF Form as a runable item bottoms, from within the Form.
This runs as a client app swing and is not web based.
Running the ADF Form which as I described earlier includes all my ADF Panels as runable bottoms is extremely slow since Jdev by design loads all these ADF Panels before even user clicks on it, and once you close the ADF Panel that you just run Jdev does a terrible job cleaning the memory and keeps binding open and un-cleared in memory which causes the app to become slower and slower as it is being used.
I can execute each ADF panel independently outside of the ADF Form and outside of the Jdev without any problem from Windows command line, and all runs much better than putting all these ADF Panels into ADF Form.
What I am looking to do here is to create a portal/front end for these ADF Panels and allow user to click on a bottom which would then execute the command line for the execution of the ADF panel, very much like when I execute the ADF panel from the Windows command line.
Any suggestion backed by some documentation or steps I should follow is mostly appreciated.
Thanks.
Bobby A.Thanks for your time, but I cannot make a front-end in C. It has to be in JSP (or in ASP but I haven't tried yet to program in VBA).
So that is why I am asking what is the best way of attaching a JSP front-end to the given API.
PS: Why should I code a .dll to provide a JNI interface for the api? Isn't the JNI interface capable of doing such? -
Customization, API documentation
Where does the source code reside for portal components such as forms, reports, charts etc.? Is that possible that I can add my own customized codes in order to fit my needs (such as client side data validation using javaScript, adding a few text line etc)?
Where does the page source code reside? How can I access it and do some customization?
Is there any documentation on portal API?
Thanks for your help.
nullYou can get documentation on the portal APIs from the Portal Development Kit (PDK). Do a search on technet for 'pdk' and it will come up in the results. There is documentation on the APIs for PL/SQL and Java.

Hello,
SharedObjects.getEnvironment() method is deprecated, but didn't find any documentation on intradoc java api... So what method should be used instead? Does any body knows where to get intradoc java api documentation (even for Oracle ISV partners). There is no such documentation on Oracle portal, on partner portal, ...
Many thanks in advice.From our development team:
In 10gR3, getEnvironment has been replaced by two different methods.
getSafeEnvironment: Gets the environment without variables that are considered unsafe to expose. For instance, it won't include JdbcPassword, IntradocDir, etc. A complete list is in the resource table SecureEnvironmentKeys in the file std_resources.htm. When evaluating Idoc script in an unsafe context (which is most of the time), the DataBinder should have a reference pointer to the safe environment and not the secure environment.
getSecureEnvironment: This includes all configuration parameters. It is used when doing admin level tasks of all sorts.
Also, the getEnvironment method still exists, but it is a pointer to getSafeEnvironment.
