Portlet Url writing with a Weblogic Server as WSRP Producer

Hi there,
I’m having problem to find out which API I have to use to make my producer write the URL using the consumer’s urlTemplate.
I have a basic Struts portlet with two forward (to a JSP) actions, I need to find a way to use the urlTemplate from the consumer (I do receive the good SOAP message with those templates from the consumer) to make my producer re-write the url (href to next.do in a JSP).
My consumer is running on a bea Weblogic Portal 8.1 and my WSRP (simple) producer on a Weblogic server 8.1
I did not find any example in the whole bea documentation and I hope that some of you may have experienced it.
Thank you.
Joanny

If you are using the correct version of Struts taglib, this rewriting
should happen automatically. Can you check if the taglib tld points to
com.bea. classes?

  • Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.1

    I have installed Identity Manager 9.1.0.2 (patch upgraded from 9.1.0.1) on OEL 5.3 64bit and Weblogic 10.3.1
    Database:Oracle 11gR2 (remote machine).
    **I am aware that IM 9.1.0.2 is not certified on Weblogic 10.3.1 (it is only certified on 10.3),
    The installation was successful and OIManager is up and running. Able to create Users, Resources etc. as well.
    As part of configuring OIM Connectors tried to Import .xml file using Import option from Deployment Management section as below and the following error was displayed.
    "Either your session timed out or you are trying to access a page without logging in".
    Did all workarounds like enabling java, changing browsers, restarting machine etc as per the below discussion but in vain.
    Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server
    Can any one suggest any workaround or solution for this problem.
    Or atleast can any one confirm there is no Identity manager available on this date which is compatible with 10.3.1? and cannot be continued further.
    Thanks in Advance

    You are facing this issue because you're using a non certified combination.
    Other folks who tried to use OIM in 10.3.1 ended up in the same problem you're facing.

  • Integrating WebSphere MQ 5.3 with BEA Weblogic Server 9.2 3M

    I am trying to integrate WebSphere MQ 5.3 with BEA WebLogic Server 9.2 3M. I have found the guide:
    Integrating WebSphere MQ 6 with BEA Weblogic Server 10 using Weblogic Server's Foreign (JMS) Server feature [http://ibswings.blogspot.com/]. I have done all steps according this guidance.
    I have made modification since, WebLogic Server 9.2 3M does not support EJB 3.0, I am using EJB 2.1, any changes that have been made is create ejb-jar.xml file and configure it according next guide
    At the final step when I am deploying service-jar-files (for ex. ejb.jar), I am able to complete this procedure.
    When I am starting service (for ex. ejb.jar) from Deployments I am facing a wall: exception appears

    Hello.
    I would ditch the foreign JMS approach. There is a detailed example of how to use the resource adapter for the same goal here:
    WebSphere MQ resource adapter  and Weblogic - how?
    While Oracle supports foreign JMS, IBM won't. The only pattern that both IBM and Oracle support is resource adapter.
    Let me know, if you need more guidance.

    Hi all,
    I am trying to install Oracle SOA Suite with the WebLogic Server. Hi Boris,
    Looks like you have not run the post upgrade script for 10.1.3.4.
    You need to install SOA 10.1.3.4 Basic Installation. Then start following : http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12524_01/core.1013/e13058/weblogic.htm#BHCIIBFB
    You basically, first install 10.1.3.4 basic SOA install, Apply the Opatch 7337034 (HOTPLUG: SOASUITE 10.1.3.4 ON WEBLOGIC 9.2 - CHANGES FOR HOTPLUGGABILITY). Install WLS 9.2 MP3.
    Now, Download the Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 WebLogic Server 9.2 : patch : 7490612.
    Then , Modify the following mandatory installation properties in the Weblogic_SOA10134_Base\SOADomain.properties file as per the documentation above.

  • Inqmy resource adapter for SAP with Bea Weblogic Server

              Hi everybody,
              Anybody have tried to use INQMY resource adapter for SAP with Bea weblogic server
              It works well with INQMY server, but with BEA I'm getting a lot of problems creating
              the connections.
              Thanks in advance.
              Xavi.

    All,
              Here are the steps we (used for internal testing) had to perform to get
              IN-Q-MY adapter for SAP to work with WebLogic:
              The wli.adapter.inqmy.sapr3.spi package contains extensions to the
              In-Q-My J2EE Connector Architecture classes to overcome some limitations
              in the base implementation classes. To get around these issues, we had
              to extend their R3ManagedConnectionFactory, R3ConnectionManager, and
              R3ConnectionFactory classes.
              * The javax.resource.spi.ManagedConnectionFactory implementation
              does not over-ride the equals and hashCode methods correctly. This
              causes problems with WLS 6.1.
              * There is a bug in their javax.resource.spi.ConnectionManager
              implementation for non-managed uses of the adapter. Consequently, their
              adapter cannot be used in a non-managed scenario.
              * The javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory class does not support
              the getConnection() method that does not take any arguments (it throws a
              null pointer exception).
              I am attaching the classes discussed above.
              Cheers,
              Chris

  • How to register RMI object with runnign Weblogic Server instance?

    I need to write some RMI objects(non EJB) and register it with the already running weblogic server so that I can access them from a RMI client.
    Can some help me with this?

    So more precisely the way I am doing it is
    I have a remote interface
    package com.myserv.rmi;
    public interface NSPQueryExecutionService extends java.rmi.Remote
    public void getQueryExecutionDelegate();
    I have the Implementation as
    package com.myserv.rmi;
    import java.util.Properties;
    import javax.naming.Context;
    import javax.naming.InitialContext;
    public class NSPQueryExecutionServiceImpl
    implements NSPQueryExecutionService
    public static final void main (String[] arg) {
    try {
    Properties properties = null;
    properties = new Properties();
    properties.put (Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory");
    Context context = new InitialContext(properties);
    context.bind("QueryExecutionService", new NSPQueryExecutionServiceImpl());
    System.out.println("================================> QueryExecutionService Bound");
    } catch (Exception ex){
    ex.printStackTrace();
    System.out.println("Unable to start QueryExecutionService");
    public NSPQueryExecutionServiceImpl()
    public void getQueryExecutionDelegate()
    System.out.println("inside remote");
    I compile these classes and I do a weblogic.rmic as
    java weblogic.rmic com.myserv.rmi.NSPQueryExecutionServiceImpl
    I run the NSPQueryExecutionServiceImpl class to bind the RMIObject with the weblogic server.
    Finally when I try to access this from my client it is able to access the object but when I invoke an operation on it gives the exception that RJVM is already shutdown.

  • Build and run Sun's PetStore1.3.1_02 application with BEA WebLogic Server 8.1.

    build and run Sun's PetStore
    1.3.1_02 application with BEA WebLogic Server 8.1.
    5) In the same Command Prompt, compile PetStore using the commands:
    cd c:\bea\user_projects\domains\petstore
    setPetStoreEnv.cmd
    cd c:\petstore1.3.1_02\src
    ant
    buildfile:build.xml does not exist!
    build failed
    could you tell me how ?
    thank you

    What we, BEA, provides is a patch to allow you to compile Pet Store for
    WebLogic Server. It does not contain the source code.
    Sun's Pet Store source code can be found at
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/releases/petstore/petstore1_3_1_02.h
    tml. See the requirements section of README.TXT
    You need both in order to make it work.

    Hi Nick,
    I tried building the petstore1.3.1_02 application following theinstructions in the readme. But I got an error as the buil.xml file is
    missing in the directory.....\petstore1.3.1_02\src.
    >
    I tried unzipping the downloaded again and for a petstore.domain.jar alongwith the readme. This jar does not contain the build.xml file.
    >
    Then I tried compiling one by one the component folder and found that the../xmldocuments/src folder has only a build.xml file but no source file...
    >
    Kinldy suggest what to do? Can you send me the zip via email?
    P.S: I have checked the zip and the files are missing.

    But it doesn't list the server while deploying the application.
    I don't see the issue in my office network. But I encounter this problem when I work at my home.
    Ideally it should show the following lines after server is started:
    DefaultServer startup time: 195467 ms.
    DefaultServer started.
    This is not happening if i run the server without network.
    How can I fix this problem?
    Thanks
    Ravi

    I see some message about a proxy. Have you checked that you can use the proxy from you network?
    If not you should turn the proxy off.

  • Configuring Apache HTTP Server with Oracle Weblogic Server plugin

    Hello friends,
    I have a scenario of OIM 9.1.0.2 on Oracle Application Server 11g and Weblogic Server Apache HTTP Server.
    Oracle WebLogic Server is configured in cluster (node1 and node2), also use the Oracle Weblogic Server plugin for integration with Apache.
    One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead.
    When the mode is node1 and node2 stop start mode and try to access the management console of Oracle Identity Manager, the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node, and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel.
    Deputy of the Apache HTTP Server log, do you expect your comments to solve this case?

    "One of the tests is to lose one of the nodes for the apache plugin redirects the node that has less overhead."
    Note that the plug-in does a round robin load balancing, for example, in the case of three server (1,2,3) it does 1-2-3-1-2-3-1...
    with server 3 going down it does 1-2-1-2-1...
    An example configuration (with SSL off) looks as follows:
    LoadModule weblogic_module   "/home/oracle/weblogic12.1.1/apache/modules/mod_wl.so"
    <IfModule weblogic_module>

    "the plugin sometimes redirects to the other active node"
    This is somewhat strange, do you have session binding turned off?
    "and on another occasion shows the oracle management console identity manager without the colors of the basic look and feel."
    This could happen due to mime types (not really sure just a hunch). Here is a general story on this concept: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Properly_Configuring_Server_MIME_Types
    and the apache module: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_mime.html

  • How to isolate web applications at URL level with Oracle HTTP Server?

    We have 2 machines each for oracle web cache, oracle http server and oracle application server (oc4j). We would like to host many web applications on this infrastructure. We have an issue with application/web site isolation for maintenance purposes.
    We have several oc4j containers for different web sites/applications but they all use one instance of Oracle Http Server. When we need to make changes to an application/web site or introduce a new web site (URL), we change the OHS configuration and restart OHS on each of the machines.
    As we have many URLs hosted on this OHS and plan to host a lot more (may be around 300), we need a way to slice and dice the URLs so that every change or any change should not need to go through a regression cycle or testing cycle for all the applications each weekend (our change window). When we used Apache earlier, we used to be able to create multiple httpd.conf (process level isolation) to cater to different applications.
    We could do this with Oracle Http Server too but Oracle will not support us. I appreciate any advice or suggestion with this issue.
    Thank you

    Hi Joey,
    A great idea! I recently presented at a local user group meeting about my WebSockets API (see the links in my signature). I've uploaded the presentation and the demo code I gave to our UG here.
    I think the barrier to entry is with needing to know the web languages (e.g. html/css/js) as well as writing your LabVIEW code. I have joined the group and look forward to seeing some interesting content on there! Certainly some demos of using AJAX to make requests to Web Services and do something with the data (e.g. display on a graph) would be a good place to start.

  • Integration with JMS Weblogic server, Couldn't connect to any host

    Hi ,
    I am doing XI to JMS integration(weblogic JMS server) ,have created a communication channel of type JMS and gave the following parameters.
    Transport Protocal  : Access JMS Provider with JNDI
    Message protocal    : JMS 1.X
    JNDI Lookup name with
    queueconnectionfactory :MyJMSConnectionFactory
    JNDI Lookup name with JMS Queue : MyJMSQueue
    Name of JNDI initial context factory : weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
    all these parameters are working fine when used in a Client java program by which i am able to put and retrive message from Weblogic JMS server queue.
    But the same is not working in XI adapter ,
    I am getting the following error in adapter monitoring
    Zsrl_JMS_Reciever Receiver channel. Details: <u>Couldn't connect to any host</u>
    I guess the problem is with <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
    Is the format "http://host:port"  correct for weblogic server,
    are the JMS port and JNDI port same or different .
    I have deployed the required drivers "wlclient.jar" in XI server .
    Thanks in advance ,
    srikanth Lanka

    weblogic works on the Tenga3 protocol and hence the URL to connect to the JNDI provider of weblogic is
    t3://host:port
    At least in case of Weblogic you connect to your J2EE resources using your JNDI registry so the port would be the same.

  • Issue of deploying a fusion Web Application with integrated Weblogic server

    Hi,
    i'm using Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 to develop a fusion web application, with a model and ViewController Projects.

    Thanks a lot for help

  • Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server

    Hi,
    Every time i try to open nexaweb client for Import/Export. I get the following error:-
    "Either your session timed out or you are trying to access a page without logging in." .
    Are there any other permission I'm suppose to grant nexaweb through Welogic admin control?

    I still had no luck with neither
    * Weblogic 10.3 (the import applet doesn't match the authentication in the web application, no matter which JDK 5/6 I set in the browser or if I use IE instead of FireFox)
    * OC4J (downloaded from the oracle.com): the install_server.sh script complains about the server not being running (while I can shutdown it by RMI console with no problem using the same username/password/RMI port).
    Instead I tried JBoss 4.2.3 (downloaded from jboss.com) and unzipped it:install_server.sh works without problem just saying
    You must copy the .xldatabasekey file from the \xellerate\config\ directory of the original installation to the \xellerate\config\ directory of the current installation.
    +.xldatabasekeyThe Oracle Identity Manager installation log file is located at /opt/oracle/app/middleware/oim/xellerate/logs.+
    Which is due to the fact that i previously configured weblogic: so I copied it from my OIM Weblogic installation:
    cp ./oim.weblogic/xellerate/config/.xldatabasekey oim/xellerate/config/
    Run the OIM-ized JBoss instance and, voila'!, the import applet now perfectly recognizes my logged in user and I can now proceed with my real work ... just thinking that I lost 4 days around configuring the OIM server with Weblogic ...

  • Issues with instaling Weblogic.server

    Dear all,
    while installing Weblogic i got stucked where I had to create a new WLS domain and start WLS. I created domain outside the MW_HOME (I use Windows) and I typed
    %JAVA_HOME%\bin\java.exe %JAVA_OPTIONS% -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.Server
    But it constantly giving me back this error:
    D:\Projekti\Nereids_dmn\base_domain>D:\programi\java\bin\java.exe -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.server
    Error: Could not find or load main class weblogic.server
    As you see, I did not put anything in the place of %JAVA OPTIONS% (sincerely, because I don't know what to put there) but after giving the shortcut i just copied the -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m weblogic.Server.
    Can anyone suggest me what is missing here?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ursa.

    Funny, I had this EXACT same problem this morning myself. I did some more digging and while I don't know what step we both missed that properly adds the jar to the environment or whatever, I did find the workaround that'll get you going. You need to invoke the jar in which the weblogic.Server class is found. Assuming you've set up the WLS_HOME environment variable during the install (I followed these instructions myself - http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/12c/weblogic-development-only-installation-on-oracle-linux-5-and-6-12cr1.php) then you can set up your domain by using the following command:
    *$JAVA_HOME/bin/java $JAVA_OPTIONS -jar $WLS_HOME/server/lib/weblogic.jar weblogic.Server*
    You can add whatever memory conditions you want before the -jar flag. That'll start the configuration and allow you to proceed with creating the domain.

  • Cold-Failover with Oracle Weblogic Server 10 R3

    Hi ALL,
    It is possible to configure cold-failover using Oracle Weblogic Server?/
    - 2 instances with the same ip, if one fails the second will run
    - Not comunication between nodes like in normal cluster
    Thanks

    Hello All,
    Have anybody configured auto server migration for cold failover?
    I have a few questions regarding this setup, any help is much appreciated.
    1. for the floating ips to work, do I need 2 NICS and two cables on each server?
    2. Do I have to configure 2 different ips on one interface, which will be used as node manager listen address's for each of the 2 machines?
    3. What will be the listen address of each of these servers(primary server & failover server)? Is it the floating ip address? or empty (all local addresses)?
    4. can we start both the primary server & failover server so when primary goes down, the failover will be quick?
    Thanks,
    Chandra
