POS Outbound - sending multiple EANs per article in WP_PLU03

The configuration help on POS Outbound profile field TWPFI-EAN_ART (Indicator for article/EAN cross-reference) indicates that in this flag should be maintained when older POS systems are not able to accomodate a relationship between article number and UPC/EAN when multiple UPCs/EANs exist for an article.
Example: Article 4711 has UPC 123 and 456, both for UOM "EA". When the article is created and RWDPOSUP (TCode WPMU) or RWDPOSAN (TCode WPMA) is executed, two IDocs are generated: WP_PLU03 and WP_EAN01. However, I cannot use both IDocs as a source for my POS system's PLU. Instead, I want the WP_PLU03 to contain all UPCs/EANs for the article - in essence I would have two E1WPA01 segments for article 4711 - one for UPC 123 and the other for UPC 456. The help for this field, as I understand it, would do just this - however, enabling the configuration has no apparent effect, and in debugging the code, I cannot find where TWPFI-EAN_ART is taken into account during IDoc generation. Has anyone used this configuration before?

Hi Justin,
key of the record WP_PLU IDoc is the article number and unit of measurement. This is always transferred with the main EAN/UPC (MARM-EAN11 in the article master data). All additional EAN (from table MEAN in the article master data) are transferred in the WP_EAN Message. There is no option to include additional EAN/UPCs into the WP_PLU IDoc.
This approach works well as long as the POS system uses a similar data model with PLUs (with the key of the main EAN/UPC) and cross reference UPCs in a separate table.
However if your POS system requires a PLU per EAN/UPC it would be necessary that the middleware between SAP Retail and POS creates these records as a combination of the WP_PLU and WP_EAN messages. In this case it would be required that the POS Outbound creates a WP_EAN message each time when a WP_PLU message is created and vice versa.
The creation of this additional message can be controlled by the Parameter TWPFI-EAN_ART.

  • Multiple EANs per article in Basic Data Maintenance (Retail Master Data)

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to prevent users from entering an EAN twice for an article?
    Example: EAN 123456789 for article AAA with unit of measure PC <i><u>cannot be used</u></i> for the same article AAA with unit of measure CS.
    Thanks.

    Dear Winnie,
    Yes....this is possible and this is pre-requisite condition in Retail Master Data(transacion code MM41)
    Go to transaction code OMT4 and change following message number from warning to error.
    Application: M3
    Message No: 347
    Message Text: EAN already used for unit of measure & of this article
    If this message is not exist, insert the same.

  • POS Outbound Mechandise with 9 EANs

    Hello,
    We are testing a scenario having an article with 3 Unit of Measures and two additional EANs to each unit which makes the total 9 EANs for an article.
    Now we are using POS Outbound merchandise service to transfer this article with 9 EANs to SAP POS 2.3 application.
    Result : We receive only 3 EANs related to base unit of measure as the XI/PI mappings filter any other Unit of Measure (UoM) except the Base Unit of Measure.
    Is this a limitation for SAP POS 2.3 or an accepted real-time scenario which states that any article cannot be sold with 3 different UoM (Unit of Measure) like Piece, Box and Pallette where we are using SAP POS solution.
    An early response will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Nitin

    Is there a Retail Price maintained for each selling unit of measure?   In Article Master, there must be a Sales View maintained and and Retail Price maintained for the Unit of Measure or it will not be included in POS Outbound.

  • Sending price condition in WBBDLD for POS outbound

    Hi experts
    I am facing some problem when do configuration in order to send the price condition to POS through message type WBBDLD.
    Client is using ZP01 tag price instead of VKP0 as the condition
    Below are the config that I have performed but the price is not sending out.
    1. (Sales and distribution --> POS interface --> outbound --> maintain POS condition type group) A new condition type group is created that replace VKP0 compared to the original SAP standard one.
    2. (Sales and distribution --> POS interface --> outbound --> maintain profile for POS outbound) A new POS outbound profile using the above new condition type group
    3. Site maintenance WB03, assign above new POS outbound profile to the specific store
    4. (Logistics-general --> assortment --> assortment list --> controlling condition change analyses --> direct entry for creating the worklist --> activation of the direct entry for creating the worklist) tick "direct entry indicator" for 50 assortment list
    5.  (Logistics-general --> assortment --> assortment list --> controlling condition change analyses --> maintain filter setting for condition types) Add a new row for ZP01 for table no. 901
    Really appreciate your advice.
    BR
    Dom

    Hi Honghai,
         Actually it's based on the customer pricing procedure. The default one is VKP001. If you assign the other customer pricing procedure in Tcode: OVKK, you should add the condition type to the corresponding pricing procedure.

  • How to send multiple docs in soa suite 10g ?

    Hi All ,
    I am using Soa Suite 10g (10.1.1.3).
    I had a requirement to send multiple docs for single id. say for example, i have table emp and document and for single empid field i have multiple documents. i need to transform in such a way that details from emp along with multiple documents for the corresponding empid
    in emp table i have : empname , empid, dept, place
    in document table i have : empid1 document1,document2 , empid1 document3,document4
    means for the same emp id , i have two documents rows.
    I dont want send emp details multiple times, but for the single emp details i need to send multiple docs.
    say empid1,empname,dept,place and document1,document2,document3,document4
    i use transformation, multiple docs are not transforming, second details overiding my fitrst transformation.
    plese help me , how can i send multiple docs to another service
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    I must say that your explanation of your problem is a little fuzzy. But as far as I understand it, you would need an xsd of your external service with a list of documents per employee.
    The more or less simplest/straightforward way to do it is using a loop in BPEL. Then within an assign in the loop you could do:
    <copy>
    <from variable="inputVariable"
    query="/ns1:a/ns1:b/ns1:c"
    part="payload"/>
    <to variable="ServiceDocumentProperty"
    query="/ns22:Property/ns22:value"/>
    </copy>
    <bpelx:append>
    <bpelx:from variable="ServiceDocumentProperty"/>
    <bpelx:to variable="lServiceDocumentPropertyList"
    query="/ns22:PropertyList"/>
    </bpelx:append>
    I think you could do it as well in a transform, but then you should create a (set of) custom templates that traverses the source list of documents in a recursive way. For some examples you could read this article: http://blog.darwin-it.nl/2013/02/sending-and-saving-emails-in-soasuite.html. Because the difficulty in your case is (as I understand correctly) you have a detail table with 2 documents per row. What would be more logical and simpeler is if you would had 1 document per child-row.
    If you could redesign your source-model into a single document per row, then in the xslt-transform you could do just the for-each construct.

  • How to send multiple files by using File Adapter

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying with the scenario by using the File Adapter.
    As per my requirement, I need to send multiple files (like FileA.xml, FileB.pdf, FileC.txt, FileD.html etc) to the Target system.
    I have seen ‘Additional Files’ option, in Sender Communication channel. But I am not sure how to give the parameters, in case if I would like to send the multiple files as mentioned above.
    Could someone please explain about the steps, that I need to proceed further?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sree

    Anand,
    Thank you for your reply.
    My requirement is to send the multiple files like inone.xml, intwo.txt etc. In the Sender Communication channel, I had provided ' inone.xml ' in the File Name field under the "File System Access Parameters" section.
    Next I had chosen "Additional Files" option as Checked and provided ' intwo.txt ' in the field name of "File List".
    After activation, i have provided those two files (inone.xml, intwo.txt) in the Source folder. It is not processing? What could be the problem ?
    Thanks

    Could you please help on the following scenario.
    I need to send multiple customer master data records from a file  to rfc without using BPM.
    The following is the mapping i am using
    source                                                 Target( RFC)
    ======                                          =============
    Tree             occurance   type           Tree occurance

       customer     0..unbound -
    >          ztest_cust( rfc )  1..1
          cname     1..1             -
    >            cname   0..1

    2. Multiple customers possible in datafile from mdm
    Problem 1:Only one customer record from file is being sent to RFC thouth many records are in the file, the second, third .. and so on records not being sent to rfc.
    Problem 2:
      if add o.. unbound for the rfc occurance, <messages>,<message1> tags are getting added in message mapping, and no single customer record sent to rfc..

  • Firefox crashes multiple times per day

    Hello all!
    As of the last month or two, Firefox now crashes multiple times per day (even in Safe Mode). Firefox is fully updated, as are my Add-ons and Extensions.
    Yesterday alone, it crashed 14 times (which is about average).
    System Info:
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz
    8.00 GB RAM
    64-bit OS

    Was discussed here - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors/709022 - in Feb 2013. And Bug #738661 was filed in March of 2012, with the consensus being.
    '''"In that case this is more likely a bug in Covenant Eyes than it is a bug in Firefox. If we have no hope of success through engaging with Covenant Eyes and can't blocklist the offending DLL from loading, can we at least get a support article posted instructing users how to work around this issue (ie. removing Covenant Eyes or switching to a different browser)?'''
    '''Additionally, I don't see much point in keeping this bug in the NEW state if it's unreasonable to expect that we'll ever fix this."'''

  • Multiple Ratings Per Song

    Hi,
    I was wondering if it was possible to have multiple ratings per song on iTunes. My family owns 3 iPods and we all want to rate our music seperately and we all want to access iTunes on only one computer account.
    So is there a way to rate the same song differently per iPod and have the info for both be saved?

    No, that is not possible. Maybe having separate users on Windows would be the best option for you.
    See method 1 here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300432

  • Send multiple files in separate e-mails

    Hello!
    I want to send multiple files from finder in separate e-mails, but I can't find a way to do this in Mavericks and Apple mail (or gmail). In windows XP it was simple as Send to/Mail recipient. Is there an option similar to this is MacOSX?
    Thnx,
    Gas

    #Eric
    Of course that would work, but it is tiresome to do for every file (open-attach-write subject-insert recipients-send), and that is exactly what I would like to avoid.
    #Csound
    My Mail works fine, but I use gmail webmail usually. Now that I changed the preferences, so Mail is the default it works with the shortcut menu :-)
    But, when I select more files, it attaches them to one e-mail, and not per/file. Is it possible to split them to different mails so they can be sent individually?
    Thanks.
