Posting using a statutory account

Hi,
I have to test to post a document using statutory account and without one... I am really not sure how to do that... could someone give detailed steps on this???
Its really urgent
Thanks,
N

You can do testing in F-02 if you would like to do it from Fi. Give those GL accounts while doing testing.

  • Surcharge to be post using two deferent GL accounts

    Hi Guys,
I have customer requirement to post a surcharge using of two G/L accounts for each line item,
    Say Exu2026
Surcharge item condition ZTM1 have value Rs 1000/- need to post two G/L account same amount with out change 1) 2000014141 2) 7000014141,
I have updated the both GL accounts in VKOA in GL account/Provision account, created condition type assigned to pricing procedure , done other settings , created invoice , in the condition if I double click I can see both GL accounts in the invoice but the condition value is posted to first GL account not posted to second GL account.
Is there any routine or SAP notes for this issue to fix?

Following is accounting entry during Billing Document release to accounting:
    |Customer Acc. |Dr| |1060| |
    |Sales Revenue Acc. | |Cr| |1000|
    |Tax Account| |Cr.| |60|
This is if you have Price inclusive of taxes. And you collect taxes from customer with the base price of the material.
Do want account entries like this?
    Option1
    |Customer Acc. |Dr| |1000| |
    |Sales Revenue Acc. | |Cr| |940|
    |Tax Account| |Cr.| |60|
    OR
    Option2
    |Customer Acc. |Dr| |1000| |
    |Sales Revenue Acc. | |Cr| |1000|
In either of the case, check your pricing procedure & respective account entries.
Else, if you looking for accural entries of taxes then the accounting entries will be
    |Customer Acc. |Dr| |1060| |
    |Sales Revenue Acc. | |Cr| |1000|
    |Defer Tax Account| |Cr.| |60|
    AND
Check GL Account 7000014141 in FBL3N.
    |Defer Tax Account |Dr| |60| |
    |Tax Account| |Cr.| |60|
Incase of nay further concern or doubt, do revert back to us.

  • Where we have to open and close posting periods in asset accounting

    hi sap gurus
can anybody give where we have to open and close posting periods in asset accounting
    thank you
    venkatareddy

    Hi Venkatareddy,
You make specifications for fiscal years and posting periods in the SAP R/3 System in Customizing for Financial Accounting. This is done in the fiscal year variant in the global parameters of the company code. These settings are, in general, also binding for Asset Accounting. The depreciation periods in Asset Accounting then correspond to the posting periods in Financial Accounting.<b> It is usually not necessary to create a separate fiscal year variant for Asset Accounting.</b>
The period control in the depreciation key determines the start and end of depreciation when asset transactions are posted . The period control determines the relationship between the calendar period in which the asset transaction is posted and the depreciation period.
These calendar periods are independent of the posting periods in Financial Accounting. The only restriction is that the beginning of the first calendar period and the end of the last calendar period defined in a period control have to match the start date and final date of the fiscal year in Financial Accounting.
Kindly let me know if this useful for you

  • MR8M post a different GL account versus MIRO

    Hi Gurus,
Any idea why MR8M posted a different GL account from the original entry? here are the entries:
    MIRO
    Debit- GR/IR clearing      100
    Debit- Expense(manual)    20
    Credit- AP vendor                120
    MR8M
    Debit- AP vendor          120
    Credit- GR/IR clearing         120
This entry resulted to a difference in GR/IR clearing account and the user do the clearing manually in FI.
Why is it MR8M did not reverse the Expense entry and posted to GR/IR clearing instead?
Thanks a lot for your time.
    Cheers,
    Dru

    hi
when u post MR8M ,the invoice is get reversed but the FI entries u have to clear manually ,it is done by FI peoples
FI documents need to be cleared manually using Trsnactions F-04 for G/L accounts & F-51 for Vendor accounting documents
You can also automatically clear using F-13
Mention the Documents number & clear the items
Please get in touch with FI Consultant.

  • Posting to G/L account in Next period & Opening balances

We need to post to G/L accounts for new Company code
    1) During month of February , Can we post to GL accounts(FB50)  with Posting date in January? -->  if we have Period 1,2008 open in OB52 ( FROM Period 1,2008 TO Period 2,2008)
    2) Is there a way that Opening balances can be posted to the G/L account other than using FB50/F-02. There are only 10 G/L accounts ,so I don't want to do it programmatically.
    Please reply at the earliest.
    Thanks

    HI Manisha
I will answer your question one by one.
The answer for the first question is, YEs you can have any many periods open as you wish. This you can do in T.Code OB52. In OB52 , You have to give from which period to which period it should be open.
Now coming to the second question. i don't think there is any other way to upload the balanace.
If it helps, plz assign points.
    Regards
    Rajaram

  • I already have an iTunes account but need to open a new one as I have many apple products but am limited to how many I can use my iTunes account on. How do I open a new one please. Thanks

Hi I already have an itunes account registered to my address and email address.
The problem is, I have many apple products but i'm limited to how many products I can use one itunes account for.
How do I open a new itunes account for the same address please.
    Thanks for your help.
    Sam

Well, you can probably do it, but then you also have to buy the products again to use them from the other account since they cannot be transferred or shared between accounts.  So if you have 7 computers and want the same movie authorized on all of them, you'll have to buy the movie twice and then authorize some devices on one account and others on the other.
Do you really have >5 devices, or is it just that you have a lot of devices authorized that no longer exist but are tying up authorization slots?  If that's the case, you can deauthorize things.
iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420 - and another helpful post: https://discussions.apple.com/message/17828050
I have no idea how to do multiple accounts but you may need to create a new e-mail address (plenty of free ones out there).

  • Why can't I connect one Windows 8.1 PC to other Windows 8.1 PCs in my workgroup when using a Microsoft Account?

I finally decided to convert some of my local accounts to Microsoft Accounts on my Windows 8.1 PCs. Big mistake to this point.
I have two PC's with the same Microsoft Account set up, neither PC can browse to the other or map a drive through browsing.
I'm not using a homegroup. My daughter has one setup on her laptop and desktop, and I don't want my PC's on her homegroup. Until Microsoft makes it possible to have 2 homegroups on the same subnet, this is not an option.
The local accounts on both PC's have no problem browsing, mapping, etc. I can connect to the other PC's just fine using local accounts, so I know physical connectivity isn't an issue, neither is my anti-virus or really anything else system wide on either
    computer.
I just can't attach automatically using a Microsoft Account. I have to manually map a drive every logon/reboot.
I have also found that running a logon script doesn't work. The drives will not map automatically.
The Microsoft Account users can map a drive using "Connect using different credentials." However, the credentials don't hold across reboots.
I can manually (using either a Microsoft Account or a local account) map a drive using "net use" which then opens up all of my mapped drives and allows for browsing to the other PC. However, this doesn't work across reboots/logons either.
Entering credentials in the Credentials Manager (Whether I use the Microsoft Account credentials or one of the local user credentials) doesn't work across reboots either.
Yes, I have the same Microsoft Account setup on both PCs. I have tried giving them both Admin and Standard user rights on both PCs.
I have turned off UAC as recommended in some posts.
Again - This problem is ONLY related to MICROSOFT ACCOUNTS, not local accounts.
I have put a batch file on the desktop with a "net use" statement in it to connect as a work around, but this is very annoying and truly unacceptable. Is there anyway to make this work seamlessly without running a batch file or something else where
the password exists on the PC in clear text?
I can't find other posts asking this question - am I the only one who is trying to do this? What memo did I miss?
    Thanks for any help!

    Hello Steve Hengen,
    I apologize for the delay.
I have test in my own environment and can normally map the network driver when logon as Microsoft account.
Do you check the option Reconnect at logon?
If you use Connect using different credentials, do you check the option Remenber my credentials?
Please take a look at the following article about map a network drive.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-HK/windows-8/create-shortcut-to-map-network-drive

  • Transfer posting from one GL account to another

    Hi,
For a GL account which is not open item managed, now have to check the "open item management".
since it has the amount, so i can not do it.
But i read the following help message.
If you want to switch this function on retroactively for a certain account, you should create a new account with the correct setting and use this to make a transfer posting of existing items.
so, after creating a new GL account with correct settings. How to Transfer the posting of the Existing items?
    Thanks in advance,
    Swetha

    Hi all,
i posted a document in F-02 by debiting the new GL account and crediting the old account.
now, the balance of the old account is Zero.
but still can not save it by checking the " open item management" because it says as below.
"Account balance = 0 but open items exist in the account
The data contains error, you cannot save"
so, by making zero also we can not change the that Chcek box.
and another option you all suggested is transfer of the posting to new Gl account.
since the old account is not open item managed, so i can not follow this option also.
and one more, have to come across this kind of issue?
then how did you solve it.
    Please share your finding.
    Regards,
    Swetha

  • Down payment Posting to G/L account through sales order (va01)

    Hello Everyone,
I have a question regarding down payment for a cash type sales order.
When a cash type sales order is created and customer pays some down payment (at header or item level), on saving the sales order a finance document is generated in the background and gets posted to the GL account. this financial document is not the part of document flow of sales order, but it can be checked using transaction FBL3N.( By selecting posting done on a perticular day)
VA01 transaction some where calls t-code F-29 for deposit posting. I have to do some manipulation on the accounting document populated in back ground but i am unable to find the exact location from where this deposit posting is done. while creating a cash sales order and saving a deposit, I debugged the transaction VA01 for more than 3 hours but could not track the creation of deposit accounting document.
Could anyone suggest me a way to find the location from where the deposit posting to accounts is done from sales order? Or any other solution for the stated problem..
    I would appricate the help.
    Thanks is advance!
    Regards,
    Vikash.

    hi
in the table below your MIRO screen you will see PO Reference on this tab select the item of the PO that you need post for this PO, in the tab G/L account you can make manual post aditional to the PO, also you can in the tab PO reference modify amounts and quantity if you need, but it is not recommended

  • Always use the default account when composing new messages box missing in Outlook 2010 after updating the product key.

I have 2 accounts in outlook 2010. 1 is for me and the other I have delegate access to. When I am in the delegates email and want to reply it automatically uses the account the email is in. So if I am in my email, the from is me but if I am in the delegates
email and hit reply the from is them. Now this is not working and I can't figure out how to get it to work. The only thing that changes is that office asked me to activate recently, which is weird since I have had this same computer with the same version of
office for almost a year now. I did a ton of searching and came across an option on the internet: "Always use the deafult account when composing new messages" but this option is not there on my computer. I checked another computer I have with Office
2010 also and the option is available so it must be something to do with the office activation because I haven't done it on this computer yet. PLEASE HELP!!!

Should I use EXTENSION1 table to pass COPA updates and implement BTE to achieve it? Can anyone please guide me with the procedure to populate the COPA fields for GL posting using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST?
Also please let me know how/where to check if COPA is enabled for a GL account.

  • Can't post JE to control account

I am trying to import my clients historical month end balances for 2008 (Jan, Feb, March etc...).  However, my imports are erroring out with the message "Cannot perform transaction in controlling type account 1210-310-00."  This is my client's A/R account.  If SAP isn't going to let me post to any control accounts how can I upload my client's historical GL balances?

You do need to split the opening balance between the actual debtors. This can also be achieved using the Opening Balances form, and keying the data for each business partner.
It will make it more difficult when receiving payments against the however, so, we generally import open documents as service based documents with the GL account for "revenue" offsetting to an Opening Balances account. This should all reconcile to nil once all the Gl Opening balances have been entered.
