Potos transfer from comp to ipad

i am a new user of ipad , want to transfer photos from my comp tp ipad, how to do let me know?

To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 on a PC you can enable the sidebar via control-S), and on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page.
You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

    Download iTunes onto your Laptop.

iTunes can be used to load that data unto your iPad.

  • Photo transfer from PC to iPad 2

I know how to sync photos to my iPad from my normally used PC.
I wish to transfer photos from another PC without replacing what I already have stored on the iPad.
Can this be done with iTunes and if so, how? If not, can it be achieved with another app?

There are several ways that you can transfer photographs from your PC to your iPad.
    (1) You can synchronise your iPad and PC using the iTunes software on your PC and you can select which photos/albums/folders that you want to copy.
    (2) If you only have a few photos to transfer, then you can email them from your PC to your iPad
    (3) You can use a third-party app, like GoodReader (see it in the iPad App Store) and that will allow you to copy photos from your PC to your iPad either using WiFi or the USB connection cable that came with your iPad
    (4) You can use a 'cloud storage' server, such as Apple's MobileMe iDisk or DropBox to transfer photos from your PC to the cloud storage and then you can download them from the cloud storage to your iPad. If you need to know more about cloud storage have a look at the Apple iPad website and look for MobileMe.
    (5) You can use the optional camera connection kit - this will allow you to transfer photos either from an SD memory card directly to your iPad or you can plug the connection kit directly into your camera and upload photos that way.

  • Notability, App of the week, wont transfer from itunes to ipad 4

i got the app, notability when it was the app of the week last week on my iPhone 5s and transferred it to iTunes. i restored and updated my ipad 4 to the latest version ios 7.1.1. when i try to add this app to my ipad it wont transfer but ive tried other apps and they transferred fine. do i have to purchase this app in order to transfer it to my ipad? i figured since it was free because it was the app of the week that it wouldnt be necessary to purchase it to transfer to another device?

I figured out what was going on.  All the songs on this album had dup's in iTunes, and some of the dup's were not linked to a song.  Those are the songs that did not sync to the iPad.  I deleted the dup's out of iTunes and then checked to be sure the remaining songs had a link, and then re-sync'ed.  It worked.

  • Photo Transfer From PC To IPad

Looking for recommendations for an App (or another method) that will permit me to copy or simply drag selected photos from my PC to my IPad.
Having come from the simplicity of the PC world, I am very disappointed in the complexity and need to synchronize to do what is so simple on a PC.

If you don't want to sync photos via iTunes to the Photos app, then there are apps such as Simple Transfer which allow you to copy photos to/from the iPad's Photos app via your wifi network (photos will go into the Camera Roll album in Photos), or there are third-party photo management apps such as Photo Manager Pro which allows you to copy photos to/from it via your wifi network and which has imporved functionality compared to Photos (Photo Manager Pro help) e.g. you can change the sort order of photos directly within the app

Is there any way to transfer photos from a Nikkon P500 to my iPad2?

Yes, Apple has an accessory that works perfectly either with the camera clip or directly from the camera.
It is: Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit. About $29. I bought mine at Target. - Same price

  • My mp4 movie files used to transfer from computer to iPad but now they will not Tried dragging and dropping to iTunes library but won't work anymore Plse help

I have mp4 movie files that i am trying to transfer to my ipad and it will no longer work.  They will not copy to my iTunes library. I used to be able to transfer/drag and drop converted movies to my iTunes are the mp4 files maybe too big Although I have plenty of space

    Howdy Anastasia,
I was thinking about why the songs arent importing and I feel that its either, A) the format of the files has changed since you last imported them, or B) you may need to rebuild the iTunes library.
Here is an article about doing just that:
iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1451
    Re-creating the iTunes Library file
Note: After re-creating your library, any devices that you sync with iTunes (Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, iPad) will see your iTunes library as a new library and will completely resync. The next sync with such a device will take longer and may reset some options since your rebuilt library isn't familiar to the device.
    1. Quit iTunes.
    2. Locate your iTunes folder (this is the folder that contains the iTunes Library and iTunes Library.xml files).
    Operating System
    Default location of iTunes Folder
    Mac OS X
    /Users/[your username]/Music
    Microsoft Windows XP
    \Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\
    Microsoft Windows Vista
    \Users\[your username]\Music\
    Microsoft Windows 7
    \Users\[your username]\My Music\
    3. Open your iTunes folder.
    4. Drag the "iTunes Library.xml" or "iTunes Music Library.xml" file to the Desktop. If neither is available, learn how to add files back to the Library (because the XML file is not available, playlists and other information will not be available).
    5. Drag the following file from your iTunes folder to the Trash:
    Mac OS X
    "iTunes Library" or "iTunes Library.itl"
    Microsoft Windows
    "iTunes Library.itl"
    6. Open iTunes.
Important: Do not add any content into iTunes at this point (such as by purchasing something from the iTunes Store).
    7. Choose File > Library > Import Playlist.
    8. Navigate to the "iTunes Library.xml" file on the Desktop.
    Mac users: Click Choose.
    Windows users: Click Open.
If your Podcasts list in iTunes is empty after following these steps, learn how to add them back into iTunes.
    Regards,
    Sterling

  • Photo transfer from comp to iphone

I uploaded all the pics on my iphone to my comp. I erased all that was on the iphone. Now I want to put a couple of pics from my comp back on the iphone but don't know how to do that/
    Can anyone help me?
    iPhone 3G 3.0

Photo Library is like a smart list that collects all the pictures on your iPhone. You should have a Camera Roll which contains all the pictures you took with your iPhone, and you should have one folder for every folder you chose to sync with your computer using iTunes. Photo Library will basically always exist and be the sum of all your pictures.

  • HT1848 iTunes and music transfer from laptop to iPad 2

I'm trying to transfer music on my laptop iTunes to my iPad.  How can I do this?

You've selected the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and selected the Music tab on the right-hand side of iTunes so that you see something like :
If you tick the 'selected playlists ...' tickbox you should be able to be more selective over what to copy.
Have you then selected what you want to sync to the iPad, and clicked the Sync button at the bottom right of that screen ? That should then sync your selection over the iPad's Music app (not the iTunes app on the iPad).

  • How do you transfer from an old ipad with 2 apple id (app free and purchased) to new ipad that is going to these same ids

Basically, I have used two apple ID on my old ipad, ID 1 being primary, and ID 2 being secondary, but I've made purchases in both IDs (apps only no music)
How, and when I moved to a new ipad, would I be able to restore both free+purchased apps on both apple IDs?
    Thanks

I also use two Apple IDs.
As far as getting your apps from both IDs, it's quite simple.  All that you need do is to sync the new iPad to the same iTunes that you had previously synced to the old iPad.  You'll need to load the backup only if you need the data from the game apps.  In that case, I can't confirm which is backed up (or if both are backed up) because I don't play games with a history that I care about.

  • Best quality settings for transfer from comp to itunes library

What settings should I use to have the best quality sound when transfering from my computer to itunes?

Do you mean from CD to iTunes? Because if the songs are already on your computer, they probably don't need to be converted again. If you do mean from CD to iTunes, the answer is "whatever sounds best to you." I'm not trying to be flip. It's just that there's a wide range of preference. It's going to be affected by where you listen and the background noise, your headphones, your speakers, how good your hearing is and so on. I generally recommend that you rip the same track in a number of different bit rates in both AAC and mp3 and see what sounds best to you and (if space is an issue) what provideds the best compromise between good sound and small file size. Personally, I use 192 aac VBR. Sounds good on my iPods and on my JBL Creature speakers. I don't have a stereo.

  • Using iCloud to transfer to a new iPad

i need to transfer from an old iPad 3 to a new one. I backed up my iPad using 40 gig of memory to iCloud. I have 55 gig memory on iCloud yet it shows that I only used about 6 gig of iCloud memory. This tells me that my iPad isn't fully backed up. Any suggestions?

    Hi steve,
The following items are not backed up to iCloud. You can sync these items with a computer using iTunes:
Music, movies and TV shows not purchased from the iTunes Store
    Podcasts and audio books
Photos that were originally synced from your computer
Every Apple and Communities support article that I have seen concerning setting up a new device with a previous devices' information recommends that you back up the old device to iTunes, and then Restore the new device to get it set up.
Via iTunes, it is two steps. Doing via iCloud involves several steps. Seems like the iTunes route is the easiest and cleanest....
    Just my opinion.

  • Cannot synch mp4 videos from itunes to iPad with current verion of iOS 6

mp4 videos will not transfer from itunes to ipad 3 with the latest iOS6.

UPDATE:  I backed up my phone, wiped it (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings), & then restored it through iTunes.  For whatever reason, that seems to have fixed the problem.  Movies now sync to my phone like they used to.
That process seems to have corrected 1 or 2 other minor issues, including one where iTunes was 'syncing artwork' for a long time on every sync.
