PP CC MASSIVE ISSUES!

I am having some massive issues in PP CC... While importing clips through the media browser it crashes.. While linking media in the Link Media window, it crashes, 8 times out of 10.. While Warp stabilizing, it crashes. I have updated all drivers and PP it's self.. I *expository* hate Premiere right now. Any one have simmilar issues?

updating my codecs helped. But I came up with a simple proxy workflow that helps a lot.
Using Mpeg Streamclip I batch convert all of my 1D-C 4k .mov's to h264 in a .mov wrapper.
In order to maintain the original aspect ratio (from 4096 x 2160), transcode these proxies to (1920x1013). **make sure you maintain the same file names and extention
I put the proxies in a folder called online and in a folder next to them, I put the real 4k footage in a folder called offline.
c/Projects/"Project Name"/Footage/Online
c/Projects/"Project Name"/Footage/Offline
Then I go into into PP and import all of my proxy footage (so far no issues importing these files what so ever) Create the sequences to be the original size 4096 x 2160 and place a few clips on the timeline. Then select all the imported clips and right click, select scale to frame size. This will allow you to work in a real 4k timeline with 4k keyframes, but with nice, easy, 1080p footage.
Once your edit looks nice, and is timed up to the music and what not, go into your project folder and rename "online" to "proxy" and "offline" to "online". This will switch what files PP uses and automatically switch you back to using your real 4k files in the timeline. From here, color grade and export. You can always switch the file names back for real time playback.

FF 20.0.1 Giving Me Massive Issues With Tabs - Help Greatly Needed

So Firefox updated tonight unfortunately, even though I thought I had turned that off, and I'm having massive issues. It took about two hours for me to just get my shortcut keys working again and if I right click to "Open in a New Tab" there is no responsive activity from FF. If I right click on anything (on that MASSIVE menu, btw - really? I don't need all of that!) none of it is working. And any tabs I now manage to get open using my restored shortcut keys go unresponsive.
I've tried re-starting w/o add-ons, but nothing changed. And I'm not restoring to a default of 20.0.1 - at that point I'll scrap this update and go back to my preferred v.19 as of January.

Issues with a massive right-click context menu has been reported as caused by Firebug, so make sure to update Firebug to the latest version.

For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

The issues are local to your machine so nothing to "patch" It is possible to revert under certain circumstances but you have given us nothing to go on. Please give us as much detail as you can as well as upload your event viewer logs

Expand Custom Views

work around is to edit the registry. If you are not comfortable doing this DONT. If you are, backup the key before you do

Massive Issue: "Audio Glitching" on footage from FS700. Sync is way off, but the footage is in fine when viewed in VLC.

This is a sort of difficult issue to describe because I've never encountered anything like it in any editing program before.
I'm attempting to cut some interview footage, but it's impossible because the audio seems to be cutting in and out and doesn't match the video at all. It was shot on a Sony FS700, and I can watch the footage in VLC and it plays back and the sync is fine. When I try to import the footage into Premiere the wave form seems to only go for about half the length of the interview and seems to be cutting out chunks of the sound. The footage is nearly double the length of the audio, so the second half of the footage is just silence. It's not a frame rate issue, because the sync doesn't gradually drift. It's a drastic difference between the video and waveforms. I've tried importing through windows and through media browser and still no luck. I've also cleared the media cache and that made no difference. This is extremely frustrating because I the footage plays back fine outside of Premiere and I've been using my Sony FS700 with Premiere for the past few years with no issues like this. I just updated to 2014.1 and I'm guessing that's part of the problem unfortunately. Oddly enough, the same project contains footage from a GH4 and AF100 with no audio issues.
My specs are as follows:
Windows 8.1 (Up to Date as 11/1/14)
Adobe Premiere CC 2014.1 (Up to Date as of 11/1/14)
Intel i7-3820
Nvidia GTX 670 (344.48 Driver)
32GB RAM
I don't have a screen casting program, but I could record some footage of the issue if my description isn't cutting it.

I was able to get the footage to play correctly, but only if I work with the footage directly off the SD card. The issue seems to arise when I import the footage that's been transferred to my hard drive.

Kindle fire massive issues

I have used my kindle since I got it- january of 2013 to skype with my niece and nephew- last few months it will connect then all sound goes away, for both of us (she has a kindle too) Is it true that the update isnt supported by previous kindle fire HD versions? If so, how can i get a version of skype that will work. AND, why do they make getting support from them SO difficult! HELP, please. My 5 year old niece is very upset she cant see auntie. thank you in advance.

I can only confirm the major issues since the forced update...sudden white OR black screen, freezing that doesn't disappear until I completely shut down my Kindle, my screen picture “hopping“ all over (upside down etc) and beeping, constant video and audio interuptions, cannot see all my favorites or who is online. This is my only way of communicating with my family and very important to me. Is there a version on the way that makes Skype usable again on the Kindle Fire HD? If not, I guess, I will have to find something else than Skype because right now, it simply does not work.

Massive issues

OK, so as you can gather, I'm having some issues with my Droid Maxx. I have done a full reset, safe mode, etc. My phone still randomly restarts as well as my WiFi and Bluetooth does not turn on unless I restart my phone multiple times and even then it works for about an hour or two. Is there anything else that can be done?

Having Massive Issues with Apple TV 3

I have just purchased an ATV3 and have tried to set it up however it is unable to connect to my internet network. I have a virgin media super hub with standard security, I am able to connect to it with my mac, iphone and ipad easily but just not the apple tv! I'm also having difficulties with connecting my apple tv to itunes to restore it! Any ideas as to what could be going on?

It usually does work better, this is something that has started recently for some users, I'm sure Apple are working on it.

Playmemories Online massive issues

Please help. I cannot login to playmemories online from my Playmemories Home program, via web brower direct, nor iphone or ipad apps. I get 3 bars moving across the screen as it tries to load, server maintenance, and other bizarre messages. Once in a blue moon it lets me in but then locks up.
I had the sync all turned on in the Playmemories Home application and think that I blew up the servers as when i was able to get in it showed over 10,000 pictures uploaded but 4.8 GB of space left.
Help - this would be killer if it worked but is typical Sony software.

Playmemories on opening locks up on "calculating time, please wait" and has to be freed by going to tasks on PC.
I had PMB prior to this which to me was far more superior, but cannot restore the same software.
Any help would be appreciated

DNS issues from one domain controller to another (but not the other way) nslookup DNS request timed out

I've been trying to trudge my way through an issue our client is having but I'm getting nowhere fast. This issue was discovered when searching for why users at our second site were experiencing slow logons every morning (5-10minutes to login).
Within our domain there are two domain controllers for the child domain we manage.
DC1 has connection back to the parent DC's (managed by our clients parent company), and also replicates both ways with DC2. DC2 is at another site, on another subnet and replicates to and from DC1 only.
DC2 appears to have no issues, it can resolve any address, nslookup either using itself or DC1 is fine and name servers resolve fine.
DC1 has massive issues with DC2 - using it for nslookup gives me the following:
I get this timeout error for internal and external names, but both DC's are able to ping and access internet with no issues.
When trying to resolve name servers from DC1, DC2 sits at 'validating' for a while and then comes back with 'a timeout occurred during validation'.
Restarting DNS Server, NETLOGON and registering in DNS from DC2 had DC1 talking to it fine for a few minutes, but then it went back how it is (and I haven't been able to replicate this fix since).
Reverse DNS zones are setup for all the subnets used, there are A records and PTR's for both DC's.
Performing 'ping -a dc2.ip.address' from DC1 comes back fine - it knows what it is in both directions (name and IP) but nslookup and nameserver resolution is still failing.
I just don't know where to go from here - from everything I've read they should be happy... Any ideas?

When NSLOOKUP starts, before anything else, it checks the computer's network configuration to determine the IP address of the DNS server that the computer uses.
Then it does a reverse DNS lookup on that IP address to determine the name of the DNS server.
If reverse DNS for that IP address is not setup correctly, then NSLOOKUP cannot determine the name associated with the IP address.

Major issues with iPod even after restore

I have a 120 GB iPod Classic and it was working well but I transferred some videos and some of the files got really messed up on it. First the languages got corrupted and most Asian characters wouldn't show up. I plugged it in and then ejected it after looking through my songs and that fixed the problem.
Then I found out a bunch of the videos on the iPod were not opening for a while, then when they did, it only showed a really messed up screen, and the iPod was causing the computer to freeze whenever I did anything in iTunes. I deletes those videos, and it froze the computer, and after a long time I took it out and those files did actually end up deleted. I tried to transfer a few files, and it took hours (maybe 3 hours of podcasts) and then when it was done, I ejected safely, and lo and behold, all my files are totally corrupt. I did a Restore, and then it seemed to fix most problems, and I tried transferring music to it. After about 200 songs, the transferring began to freeze for minutes at a time, and finally completely stop moving and freeze iTunes. It keeps alternating between the "Connected - Eject before disconnecting" image and a "Synchronizing" image. I tried to Restore again, and then transferring more stuff, it happened again. Sometimes the computer tells me to scan and fix errors with the external device.
After a few more tries of restoring, it keeps freezing after a certain point. It holds up my entire computer when it does it, and the iPod sometimes makes clicking noises when transferring. Loading up certain videos is extremely slow, and the thumbnail it's showing for my videos is an extremely staticy screen. I think the hard drive is corrupted, but wouldn't restoring the iPod fix that? I don't want to do anything else to it right now, since it'll still play some music alright, but there's massive issues with it that I can't fix, and most of my music is now gone. It seems to be taking tons of time of clicking and not doing anything to transfer even the smallest file, and sometimes it just freezes entirely. It seems like it's a specific part of the HD that's actually experiencing physical damage, but I don't know.
Can anyone help? I've tried everything I can do, but I feel like the more I try to fix the worse it's going to be. My warranty lasts until November 30, and I'm wondering if I can just get a replacement.

Just an update:
I connected my iPod again today, and this time I tried transferring just 1 file to "check if it would be better." The 1 song still took maybe 15 minutes to transfer and froze iTunes for a while, and then when I tried to eject it it kept telling me the files were in use by another program. Well I tried to Restore it, since obviously something was screwed up. Same error. Everything became frozen when I tried to click for my iPod's information in the side bar. Then I manually unplugged it and plugged it back in, Windows tells me to scan and fix errors on the drive, I didn't because that causes explorer.exe to freeze up, and then I restored the iPod again. Right now there's only 3 playlists on there, and I think that's well below the danger zone, but I don't know what's wrong with it or what to do about it right now.

Arial font issue in Apple Mail

I'm a designer.
I have a MacPro tower running 10.9.5

and FontExplorer X Pro 4.2.1
I've had issues with fonts (as one does with so many) and finally got the cache cleaned up for one issue when a new one has popped up.
I have my mac restart every night, and it my login apps are Mail and Font Explorer.
When Mail first opens, my unread messages number in the sidebar are shown in "Last Resort" and the sender's email is shown as all pound signs.
Sometimes to fix this I quit mail, go into FontExplorer and turn Arial on and off, and then re-open Mail. Sometimes I can get it to fix itself by quitting and re-opening Mail a few times.
It's not a massive issue, but it is pretty annoying to see first thing in the morning!
Other than rebuilding my 6k font library, any suggestions on what's happening?

Try going to Applications/Font Book and validating the font. There may be option to do that in Font Explorer.

I have the same problem as all sorts of people with "HDCP" issue for playback.

What is APPLE saying about this massive issue, I'm ready to completely switch to another product and super frustrated. I've tried the "quick" solutions with no help.

Slow startup issue on MacBook Air running Yosemite

Hi. My mac is starting slowly, taking about a minute. It seems to get held up in the blank screen phase after the power-on self test. It's not a massive issue but is annoying and a solution would be great. Thanks.

Why didnt 5.0.1 update fix battery issue

what was it that apple put into this update.? my battery seems to drain just as fast if not a bit faster. i charged last night and went to bed at 11:30P. i unplugged it and left on. in the morning got up at 6:30A and battery was at 80%. i know leaving on will drain. but 20% just sitting there???? i dont mean to hate on apple but what the f*ck man.! what was the "fix" anyone know the difference from 5.0 to 5.0.1????

I feel better knowing I wasn't going crazy this morning. After spending the last 15 hours tweaking iTunes Match, I was afraid the service was draining my battery, but then I just let it sit idle on my desk at work and periodicaly checked it, every 30 minutes I lost 5% when it was in standby. When I was checking mail in 5 minutes, the battery drained 1% each minute. After a full night charge last night the day of standby has brought me down to 43%. I normally charge my 4s every other night, and I listen to Pandora and TuneIn Radio regularly. I have a feeling it hasn't affected everyone, just like I had no issue before, but clearly have a massive issue now.
SERIOUSLY, APPLE. Make an announcement acknowledging this garbage. If my device doesn't get its normal battery life back, the poor folks at my local Apple Store are going to have my family and I raging the place.
