Prevent sound of Flv player played after Go to another frame

hi ...
i have a project , i put all my project in 1 scene
there are several frames that i put several part of my project like : about us , my works , contact us
also i have layer that i put some menu and script them to goto these pages ...
in one my pages i have FLV must be played ... now there is 2 problem
1: i have background sound played from start of my project ,,, as my flv player is autoplayed i want the background sound Stop at these Frame
2: my main probelm comes when i click in another button and Go to another page ( frame ) ... in this case i can hear the sound of FLV !! and it`s not stop !!
it will be much problem when i click on the button that goes to My Flv frame again !! so the sound of flv played double !!
what can i do about this ??

i found another threat that you answer this Question with this tip :
use the removedfromstage event to stop your video. ie, if flv is the instance name of your flvplayback component:
flv.addEventListener(Event.REMOVED_FROM_STAGE,f);
function f(e:Event):void{
flv.stop();

Sounds with Buzz not playing after upload

Hi,
So I have a project that works fine testing in browsers but when I upload it I get no sound. I have the sounds saved in oog, mp3, and wav. The file structure is the same, buzz script is uploaded as well as the sounds folder. I did change the html file name to index.
Does anyone have any ideas on why the sounds wont play?

I'm not using edgecommons. I'm using buzz! for the sounds.
Checking other threads on sound was very helpful in getting the sound set-up. I've been unable to find a thread about sounds not playing after upload except certain formats not playing in some browser. That shouldn't be my issue since I have the sounds in multiple formats, but I'm obviously overlooking something so...

How to check whether music has finished playing and go to another frame

I have a bunch of music samples which are set up to play on
the click of a button, and at the same time go to another frame in
the movie clip so it says 'playing', with a stop button that takes
you back to frame 1. If you don't click stop, though, when the song
ends, it stays on this second frame, even though there is nothing
playing anymore, which is a bit confusing for the viewer.
So I need to tell flash to check whether the song is finished
playing, and then if it is, go back to frame 1. I have no idea how
to do this; have basically done it all using tutorial and samples
and my limited actionscript knowledge, but I can't find this
particular code, and don't really have any idea how to write it
from scratch.

I am not sure how Tomcat handles this, but you need to use two-way (mutual authentication) request but not enforce SSL between Tomcat and the client browser. This will make the browser prompt the user for the cert they want to send. Then you'll need to tackle the other part of your problem, getting the correct content displayed depending on whether the user sent a cert or not. I'm even less help there than I was on the first part of your question.

Avoiding the delay in flv player while switching to other file

I am working on a project where basically dealing with flv player and videos, am trying to play multiple flv videos of a 3d human character who is speaking out a number like 3550.
Here we are using multiple video files and joining them like videos where character says 3 then 1000 then 5 then 50.
The issue here is after every video there is a fraction of second where the character is disappearing from the stage which we can't afford because all the numbers have to be played at once to show it as one single digit.
I know that this is not a script error but this is how the flv player plays, after one file there will be a delay to play the other.
What can I do to achieve my goal and also can how we can download all the required flv files from server to client machine to avoid a streaming delay (All the videos are of 50 to 60 kb files).
I am looking for your kind advise and will be great full to you.

I can't merge these files because the numbers will be dynamic so only at runtime we know the combinations of numbers.

Hear video sound playing after closing or going to another video

a few times i can still hear the sound from a vidoe playing after i close the tab or go to another video. guess this is where i say something about it.

yes, they are SWF 8 files, and i see them separately after i
publish from captivate...is there a way to force them to embed (if
thats better)? it seems like it kind of randomly decides which it
wants to do.
also, i do have the source files and i'll try that blank

So if I understand correctly, your findings are:
Flash Player 10.1.85.3 + Flash Media Interactive Server = Jerky Video
Flash Player 10.0.x.x + Flash Media Interactive Server = Smooth Video
Flash Player 10.1.85.3 + Wowza = Smooth Video
And what about Flash Player 10.0.x.x + Wowza?
Also, if you could check the network traffic to confirm if it's Flash Player causing the issue or it is receiving it like that from FMIS.

Sound not playing after I added an internal preloader

Ok... I am slowly trying to get all of the pieces to this

After adding the preloader I:
I moved all content files to begin on the 5th frame.
I am using actionscript to allow people to pause, stop, and
play sound.
The sound is launched with the following script and required
me to right click the sound file in select linkage, export for
actionscript and name the file (Sound).

after adding the preloader I can't seem to get the sound to
work. I set the action to start on the 5th frame and many other
tweaks and can't seem to get it to work. I am guessing there is a
conflict between how the sound is loaded and the preloader.
The sound works if I check the export on first frame box but
this prevents the preloader from loading quickly and there for
defeats the purpose.
I like the preloader and would like to see if I can get the
sound to function with it and not visa versa.

Check for debris in the dock connector port; it's also possible that you physically damaged the docking connector on the iPhone.
Have you tried resetting or restoring your iPhone? Reset first -tto reset the iPhone, press and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the slide to power off prompt).

Playing SWF files in FLV Player

Thank for your reply friend. I understood what u said. Actually the requirement for the client is to stream swf file as streaming flv file. So I think, in the server side we have to use converter. I meant, if the client put the swf files in the server, the server side program calls the converter before streaming to the client side.
The functionality what I meant is following:
1) The client request for an swf file.
2) In the server side, it is placed as swf files.
3) Then, programmatically the server side code invokes the converter and convert the swf file to flv file before          streaming.
4) This is what I meant the use of converter.

"AU audio file player" stops playing after a few seconds

Hi there,
i use "AU audio file player" in my concert set up.
It worked fine til yet, but now it just stops playing after a few seconds.
The track is 3 minutes, but it stops suddenly.
I tried to reload the tracks and tried loading the "AU audio fle player" into a new session,
but it still stops playing in any of the sets.
Any idea?

I did not find a way to trigger it from the keyboard...
So I decided the following: I made a short cut for QuicKeys which opens the AUAudioFilePlayer and starts the loop I need. A quick solution which works with just hitting one key on the computer and the loop player starts. This works pretty well with QuicKeys but not with MS, the problem: sometimes when I choose by double clicking the AUAudioFilePlayer a black window shows up and only the name is readable, nothing else. I have to close it, reopen it and then- perhaps- the AU shows up and I can push the play button. Do you now that problem?

IMac Flash Freeze! Videos won't play after updating Adobe Flash Player. Send help (and donuts).

Last night I was prompted to download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player. After installing it Hulu and Youtube will not play videos. On Hulu there is a "Plug-In Failure" message. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, turned it off, turned it back on, uninstalled and reinstalled again, searched on message boards, turned it off for a long time and then turned it back on, refreshed the pages, and now I'm just drinking lots of coffee and pleading for help.
Hulu is my only t.v.!!!!

Zen Micro 5GB player stop after playing an al

Just got the player last week and it's COOL. Does the player play non stop from album to another? If I have only 2 songs by an artist, the player stops after the 2 songs is over (if I did not put in repeat).

The Micro plays VBR fine. All my MP3s are in VBR and theyre all perfect. To add more albums to the queue, goto the album you want, hit the options button then select 'Add to Selected' that will queue the album after your current playlist.

Does the issue occur when you have headphones inserted? If you are not sure, if you have a set of headphones available could you test that please?

Hello everyone, I am having the exact same issue. My charger stopped working following 7.0.3 upgrade. I since bought couple more charger (must admit one was definately counterfiet; and the other one what I believe to be genuine purchased from ebay). I even tried my friend's genuine apple charger that came with his 5s which is also not working.
