Preview Keep Having problem.

whenever i want to save files in preview the mac will inform me that the files is not there and so i went to trash of the plist of preview it works again and this is a shot notice after awhile the problems will come back is there anyway that i can solve it once and for all.

i am using cs5 and keep having a display problem when i preview my wesite on a browser,all spry widgets i insert displays only the texts and not the widgets. the problem is it seems to be working well in the dramweaver live viewbut dosent work when on the browsers. Can any1 please suggest some kind of solution to this or is it because am using a trail version of dreamweaver?

This has nothing to do with using the Trial version of DW. It sounds like you have not uploaded the .css and/or .js files required by the Spry element.

My iPod touch, 4th generation, keeps having problems with the backlight? It keeps turning on, and then off.

The backlight keeps having problems. Like, it will turn off and not come back on. I have tried all solutions. But the weird part is that when I kill the battery, like when I let the charge die, and then I try to recharge it, the backlight will then come back on for a little while, but then the light goes back out. Is there any way I can get this fixed or something? Without having to go and buy a new iPod or such. Because my warranty is out. It just went out like not even a whole month ago. If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

MSI GE70 0NC-009BE Azerty keeps having problems

I'm new on this forum, but decided to post here and see what you guys think.
I bought an MSI in may 2012. In the beginning it used to just "freeze". I couldn't open my task manager or anything, the cursor wouldn't respond and I'd have to switch off my laptop. After a while this luckily stopped. I got 3 dead pixels in only 6 months, and in august it made a very loud sound while gaming. The store where I bought it from, repaired it. I got a new HDD, a new fan and a new screen.
Since 2 weeks, without any cause, my wifi stopped working. The light doesn't burn and I cannot activate it either with Fn + F8.
Then, without notice, I suddenly got a bluescreen, with the code "deaddead". Suddenly my wifi worked again. I got two more shortly after, causing my wifi to stop working again. A friend of mine disabled a network driver and the bluescreens stopped.
While installing an anti-virus, I got a bluescreen as well, with the code "50" That same friend told me it had something to do with RAM.
Yesterday while I was gone eating, my laptop had another bluesceen while it was in sleep mode. The problem was: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
CODE 0x1000009f
Since then, when I start up my laptop after having it in sleepmode, it refuses to start up. The screen remains black, but not fully as it's back lit.
When I start up my laptop after it has been shut down, it sometimes refuses to start up, too.
Does anyone of u guys experience the same? Can anyone help me? I contacted the store again and will have it resent to the store to get it fixed, but I sense the problems won't stop.. I regret having bought this laptop, but is it only this laptop or is this a known problem?

it's interesting sharing but kind of weird situation.
You share lots of story here but not talk about your hw spec, the os version and driver version either, which can help people to analyse the problem. Maybe you can try it again here? or you can share your model number and production number to the admin and they would be willing to analyse the problem for you.

The link is defined as "../presentation/referencesechelon8.html". I need relative link because the entire web site can be deployed on a DVD instead of on a Web server.
On Windows with Firefox or IE everything is working flawlessly. On the Mac side, it's working with Safari since it's using Adobe Reader to read the PDF. However, with other browsers using Mac built-in PDF viewer, Preview 3, it is not working at all. In the pdf document Preview 3 is unable to reconstruct the original url from the relative link. Instead it points to http://../presentation/referencesechelon8.html which is not correct.
Does anyone have an idea? I've googled a lot and did not find anything. My next try will be to use a Javascript to reconstruct the url.

Let me also copy and repeat -- since the developers' club apparently has chosen to not give it any weight or credibility -- a comment by a completely different user, in a different thread:

Some of my songs, get cut off at the end and it has been happening right from when I first bought it. I just end up having to delete them and add them again. Is there something I can do to fix this?

I keep having problem with the Adobe plug-in

Whenever I try to open a PDF file in Firefox, all I get is a black screen, sometimes with the blue bar across the middle. I tried reinstalling Adobe, which worked for one or two files. Then it stopped working correct, again!

I see that it is six months ago that I first posted this. Nothing has changed. When I use affixa to create a message with an attachment from my gmail account in firefox, the message is created in drafts, but the gmail window is closed and I have to re-open it. Not critical, but annoying.
Now there is a plug-in on the affixa site that is supposed to be designed for Firefox, and which affixa support claims should take care of this. And I've downloaded it twice. When you download it and open it, it says that it will be installed when Firefox restarts, and gives you a button to restart Firefox. But after you click that button and firefox disappears and re-appears, the affixa plug-in is NOT in the plugin list.
Please, somebody, HELP.

When I shut the lid on my computer or put it to sleep it reboots me and shuts down the computer so that I have to enter my disk encryption password to reboot. After rebooting it opens the same applications over and over instead of the ones that I had opened when it shut down, it switches my background I had selected. It pretty much goes crazy.
I've tried SMC restart processes although I've never seen blinking power supply light or really any noticable effect from doing it. Anyone know what might be going on?

I keep having problems with .3ds and .obj files

Any time I try to import a 3ds file I get errors saying I don't have enough RAM. DAE files say they can't parse. I have 8GB of RAM, so this seems unlikely. I've been looking all over for a solution to this.
My ultimate goal is to take a MacBook Pro model into Photoshop for import into After Effects.
For some reason it never works.
I'm on a 2011 MacBook Pro i7 with 8GB of RAM. running 10.6.8
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using CS 5 12.0.4 x 64.
The model is from Google Sketchup.
But I regularly have this issue. I'm an After Effects user, and will often bring in 3D objects to animate them. In this case, I want to bring in a MacBook Pro model.
There isn't much in the way of instruction I've found for Live 3D. Is there a guide somewhere for how objects should be made? What settings should be used etc?
After wasting most of a day on it, I finally got an obj setting to open but it doesn't display properly. Look at the original below, and how it looks in Photoshop. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I'm a little under the gun.

Previews keep showing up wrong (as different jpgs) HELP!

I am attempting to make a book but keep having problems as the previews of my jpgs are showing p as different pics. It's a certain set of photos that it keeps happening with. I look at the preview and it's another pic from my library. But when I click on it and make it big, it's the photo I want. There are about 50 pics in my library that it happens with. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? I have considered saving my library elsewhere and reinstalling iphoto but am a little weary. Please help!

You have two options.
-select the 50 images within iPhto and share>export them to a new folder on the desktop.
Delete them from within iPhoto and empty iPhoto's trash
Import them again.
-Rebuild your library choosing only the thumbnail options.
Try this:
Before doing a rebuild make sure iPhoto's trash bin is emptied. You can do this by control clicking on the trash bin, or from the menu bar under iPhoto.
Close iPhoto
Duplicate the iPhoto Library folder
Drag the duplicate to the desktop (hopefully you have enough room on your hard drive for the duplicate.)
Launch iPhoto holding down the Command and Option keys until you see the rebuild options screen.
Choose the first three options. If you were missing photos in your library, also choose the last option. Be advised that you will get a roll of orphaned photos and it might be quite huge. Most of them will already be in your iPhoto library, but use caution when deleting anything from this roll until you are sure the photos are still in your library in another place. It might be a good idea to share/export this roll of photos just in case you need to import them again.
Back to the rebuild, depending on the size of your library it might take some time. When it is done, hopefully your photos will be there.
You might see some unexpected results as I did when I did a rebuild. Photos had been moved to wrong dates, video clips had lost their duration info and some were even orphaned from the jpg pointer file. It took me some time to straighten it out again.
This is the reason to make a duplicate before you rebuild, in case you do not like the result. If you don't like the result, close iPhoto, then delete the rebuilt library and drag the duplicate back into the Pictures folder making sure the name is iPhoto Library. Launch iPhoto and it should open the library in the Pictures folder.

WSAD 5.1.2 and Relational Records - anyone else having problems?

I am a bit of a newbie with JSF and as such have limited understanding. However, when trying to insert a Relational Record using WSAD 5.1.2, I keep having problems.
I am trying to use a relational databse (one that is normalized) where there are two tables (MAIN and SUB_SET_OF_MAIN). Main contains a primary key which is REF and this is the same key in SUB_SET_OF_MAIN where it is also a foreign key.
I then try and insert a new Relational Record, set the auto key generation on the MAIN table. I complete the wizard and test my page. I would expect the two tables to update with the key generation and the data to also populate in the tables.
But I keep getting problems with the bean. I have now given up on this, but was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and how they resolved it?

I was having the same problem with my iPad (first gen) and my iphone 4. After 24 hours of restoring the device, resetting email settings, etc., I finally found that there was an old email in my inbox on the mail server that wasn't visible on my devices (imac, ipad, iphone). I went into webmail on Godaddy and deleted it ... everything worked after that. I can't say this will work for you but it's worth a shot to look at your webmail for any emails that should have been deleted but didn't. BTW, the offending email was text only with no attachments.
