Preview print problem-can someone see if this happens on their machine too?
If I select multiple images with Preview, select all and then ask to print, colours are scrambled on all images after the first one. This also appears in the print preview, when printing to PDF, etc.
Is anyone else able to reproduce this and so it can be reported as a bug? I've only got Leopard on one machine so can't check on another. It seems to happen regardless of what images are chosen, and after trashing the Preview plist files.

The map shows on 2 out of 3 of the macs in the office but we can't determine why it doesn't work on the third... If you can see the map, then it works. We can't spot any difference in the settings on the machines

TimI have the i7-720 and the processor and I can attest to the W510 overheating. I recently had my planar replaced under warranty and it returned with an overheating issue for heavy processor loads. This overheating was resolved by properly applying thermal paste (lenovo applied about 3x as much as was needed) while the GPU continues to overheat and cause stuttering. If I run furmark in any resolution for a length of time at maximum fan speed and watch the GPU overheat, throttle, and overheat again. This would all be fine if it didn't cause the whole system to lag terribly in games or on the desktop.
In my view the design of the GPU cooler and thermal pads for the GPU memory cooling are very sensitive to installation. The cooler is easy to bend and the pressure clamp for the GPU isn't really designed to a certain tolerance. It's simply a clamp with a bent part that will apply some random amount of pressure to the gpu cooler.
It's just such a delicate system of cooling that there is too much room for error. It has to be installed correctly in order to function properly and I don't think there is really a good way of making sure that you've done it without running benchmarks for hours after reinstalling the cooler. I don't think this is something Lenovo is going to do. There aren't any options from Lenovo for a better heat sink design and I am pretty sure not everyone is having these issues.
So I'm going to mess with the GPU cooler until it starts working. Here's a furmark screenshot showing the temps.

What model and year is your MacBook? Some older MacBooks don't support Audio out via miniport/HDMI (the display miniport is video only).

When I download an app from the App Store, it jus shows "waiting" and doesn't download as it used to do earlier... Then after a day or 2 the app is downloaded... I dunno wuz d problem, can someone help me
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Bob thanks, but that didn't solve my problem, I went to question 17 and went into the Browse my Time Machine and it also didn't find or recognize the other Mac. I know it's in there because when I open the other Mac and Enter the Time Machine, I can see it through that Mac, and I have the same problem there, where I can't see my Mac.
In short, when I back up a Mac (doesn't matter which one) I can verify its backup as long as I use that Mac, but I cannont verfiy the backup on that Mac using another Mac and vice versa.
Also, I never used to have to do anything to see both on the same Mac. So I don't know what changed.
There must be another way.

Bridge: when I want to export from .psd to .jpeg the export window opens but the target (Ziel) window is empty, thus no target can be selected. This happens since a brigde shut down after "out of memory"

The BIG WHITE MOSTLY BLANK , MOZILLA START PAGE was blocking my use of PRINT PREVIEW, from the orange "Firefox" in the upper left corner.
I was told i was using an out of date version of Firefox.
But no "click here to update".
So i downloaded the new edition of Firefox.
And still, i can not see PRINT PREVIEW, because the large white screen of the MOZILLA START PAGE is blocking it.
I have selected a background wallpaper, so would rather not see ANY of the BIG WHITE START PAGE, at all !!

Why has it saved as a textedit document? I can't open up the installed programme?
I have bought and installed the programme, however when I try to open it a box appears with a bunch of symbols in it? The download saved as a 'textedit document' for some reason? help!
