Previously i was able to select tools in the bridge and then select image processor to make jpegs from my tiffs, the image processor tab is no longer on the tools drop down menu

previously while in bridge, i was able to select tools in the drop down menu and then select image processor to get to the page where i can make tiffs and jpegs. That option is no longer available in the drop down tool selection. How do I make jpegs from my tiffs now in the bridge.

In current Firefox releases the search bar on the about:home page and the about:newtab page have an autocomplete=off attribute that prevents Firefox from saving form data and now show search suggestions just like you get on the regular Google search page.

Rather than do that, which means starting over from scratch, losing all your edits, organisation and so on, why not simply use iPhoto Library Manager to revert the Library to the older version? Easier, less destructive.

If you really want to start over: you can access the Originals folder simply by going to your Pictures Folder and finding the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new windows installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup! (Windows tip). For a Mac use Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner.

In iTunes, when I select the "Device" and then select "My iPod" there in no text

In iTunes, when I select the "Device" and then select "My iPod", there is no text in the main screen......only the text "iPod", "Version" and "Options" appear with a picture on an iPod on the top of the screen?
I uninstalled iTunes and installed the version (10-5.3???) for my 64bit computer but no luck. I can transfer songs from cd's and the itunes store easily enough but I just got this thing yesterday and I want to get the full experience and not half of it. I feel like I'm missing something and i'm about ready to take a hammer to it.

Step by step, how did you arrive at seeing this agreement?

Previously, I was able to type part of a word and all of my prior searches would be listed, such that I was able to scroll down and select it. Now I cannot. Why

It's quite simple. A very useful feature in Firefox had been typing a search item into the white box on Mozilla's start page, where it would remain for a long while. I then would be able to just type in a few letters of the prior search to see it listed below, where I could tab down and select it. Very useful when you search a topic multiple times, or over several days (or longer). A great time saver, and memory assistant.
Two weeks ago, my desktop computer suddenly stopped doing that, and instead began listing suggested searches, and stopped displaying any of my prior searches, regardless of topic. The look of the font also changed in the bargain.
Then today, my laptop did the same thing for no apparent reason. All of those earlier search topics are just Gone. I am forced to recall them from memory, or go through the initial canvasing I did to find them in the first place: a great time waster.
Both computers have Windows-7. The laptop 32-bit home and the desktop 64-bit professional.
What happened to my search topics, and how can I reset it back the way it was? Also, why am I getting Google-like prompts for topics instead of what I want? Previously, I did not get anything until I pressed enter to start the search.

Multiple drop down menu items to populate the a separate text box...more help please

Thanks to Gilad D67 for showing me how to have multiple drop down menu items appear in a separate text box. This stuff blows my mind. Is there any script I can use to make a new drop down menu item appear in the same text box, but on a new line below a previous entry. For example. I select 'cat' from my drop down menu and it appears in my text box. Now I choose 'dog' from my menu and it appears in my text box like so 'cat dog.' Is there any way I can make 'dog' go straight to a new line automatically without having to manually go into the text box and change it?

Now, I don't have a clue if this is also possible, but imagine, I don't like my drop down menu selection of 'dog' and I go back into the menu and I change to 'rat' but in the text box, 'dog' still appears and 'rat' is added. Do I have to manually delete 'dog' from the text box or is there script that can do this for me.
Any assistance would be incredible. It amazes me how people know this stuff.

You have to set the option for the text field to be multiline and then change the last line of the script to:
getField("Text30").value += "\r" + aQuotes[item];
To reset the field you can use a separate button with a Clear Form command, and then you just select this one field from the list.

Basic Form with Drop Down Menu Help

Hi Guys,
I have just started using dreamweaver and i dont use code or anything yet. I have been following a tutorial from thesitewizard which runs through the basics of creating a web page in the design screen. It created a form to insert but i need to know how to create a form which has a drop down menu to have say 4 or 5 options to select the normal name email comments etc fields and submit button to enbale people to contact me. Can anyone help with this. Pleae keep in mind i am very new to this and dont have any code experience etc at all.

You will need to use a form processing script to handle your form data. This isn't terribly difficult, but it's more than you can do in Design View alone.

How do I delete a song from my Itunes library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and click delete from the drop down menu but, then it asks me if I am sure I want to hide this song in Iclouds? I dont even know what Iclouds is?!?! HELP!

How do I delete a song from my Itunes music library? I follow the instructions and right click on the song and then select "delete" as specified and my info claims at that point it will ask if I want to send this song to my trash bin, but, instead, when I try to delete the song, I get another window asking "are you sure you want to hide this song in iCloud? I don't even know what iCloud is?!?!? I don't want iCloud and just want to get rid of old songs!!! HELP ME!!!

Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

Input Masks and Single Choice Fields (drop down menu) Suggestions

Here's a few suggestions - I hope this is the right place to post these...
1. I would like to suggest a pre-filled state single choice field (drop down menu) to be used to get address information. Or better yet a way to import a csv file to fill the preset fields for an option box.
2. Input masks that force users to enter the data in the format you prefer. (000) 000-0000
3. Ability to enable or disable options depending on other choices.
4. Option for a list of numbers say 1 thru 100 and as people pick a registration (car number in my case) that choice cannot be picked again by another user for that form. Load values from a table that can be picked several times or only once could work in both my suggestions.

You cannot mve the songs manually from iphone to your computer.

Tool selection drop down menu not showing

On the side when I click on the little drop down menu for, say rectangle tool, nothing shows. Only the top bar changes and not all the tools are there. Please help! Thanks

I am having this same problem. I tried reverting to factory settings or whatever it's called. Lost all my preferences I set up but, still no drop down menu on the tools. I can't access the extra tools (I haven't been able to get the magic wand, the sharpen tool, etc.) HELP!!!!!! No one else I work with is having this problem.

In Elements 11 the selection drop down menu has no colour range tool....where is it??? HELP!

When I use the drop down menu under Inspector, and set the preferences I want, a blue line shows up in the appropriate cell or cells to which I want to apply a border. When I close the menu, the blue line goes away and there is no border.

I'm sorry for the intrusion on this thread. I had only made a simple comment, and then others responded. It was not my intention, especially since the original question was marked as answered. I will direct responses to any comments I make in fture postings that deviate from the OP's question to a newly created topic if I need a response, if not, I will just add a statement at the end of my comments to please not respond.
As to your diagram, it is the ability to select the non-contiguous cells, and then be able to simulataneously select a specific part of the border edge, and then be able to change them all at once that I was after. That is something that is not possible in Numbers. It seems that in your diagram the "before", was attained by selecting each cell one at a time, and changing its border edge, one at a time. Then, in the "after", selecting the non-contiguous cells and changing the "Stroke" settings for the lines was attained simultaneously since that is possible in Numbers.
If I am correct in how you attained the results in your diagram, that wasn't really what I was trying to achieve, since if the option were not grayed out, it would only select the same border edge on all selected cells. If I am incorrect, then I would like to have your input.
Once again, sorry for allowing my comment to develop as it did.

Can't select number and type of tracks from drop down menu!

When I create an empty project you are supposed to be able to select the number and type of tracks you want from a drop down menu. This menu worked when I opened logic for the first time. In subsequent new projects this window does not drop down fully and I'm unable to make any selections!
Can anyone help?

I tried Eriksimon's solution which worked the first time i re-opened Logic, but reverted back to how it was everytime after that!
As you'll know when you launch Logic you get prompted to choose a template, so i slect empty project, then when the main window opens you're prompted with New Tracks drop down/pop out box. What I should get is a choice of Type - Audio, Software Instrument and External MIDI with another section underneath with Format, Input, Output etc... All i get is Number of tracks to choose and External MIDI as the only option! Even if i create the track any subsequent tracks are all External MIDI, no other options!
When i installed Logic i left off the Jam packs as i'm short on HD space at the minute, i don't think this would be the cause but it's the only thing i've left out of the installation. If i have to re-install i will, but it took nearly 2 hours!
