  • Price catalog out bound transmission (SD Side)

    Hello ,
Iam looking for transmitting the Price catalog list to the customers and also checking for functions like transmission of Price catalog data only when the price is updated.
Price catalog price is calculated from many price condition type / record and its not in one single price condition type.
I am seeing solution in SAP Retail in MM Side and not as SD related one.. Any help is highly appreciated.
    Joe G A

    Hi Gordon,
I have a work around for this (though it is not a robust solution, it might work). It increases the workload of people who maitain pricing condition records in your org.
You may create another pricing condition for future prices.
Lets say ZPR0 is your actual pricing condition and ZPR1 is new condition record for future prices (make sure ZPR1 is not used in any pricing procedures).
Now if ZPR0 is $100 for current week and $95 from next week on, ask your master data team to maintain these two condition records normally and ask them to maintain ZPR1 with $95 with current validity. After doing this please include ZPR1 in requirements profile assigned to price catalogue. This will ensure transmission of both prices with same validity date.
Now all you have to do is to change validity date of ZPR1 (by reading valid from date of ZPR0 condition record with valid from date in next week) by using relevant customer functions in price catalogue transmission program (plenty of customer functions are available in this program)
while transmitting make sure you will transmit ZPR1 in future price for next week (this can be achieved in EDI mapping)
    Hope that helps.
    Thanks
    Murali

  • Price catalog

    Hi
Can someone tell me the T-code / menu path of pricing catalog.
    Thanks in advance

    Thanks saddeep
No actually  iam not talking about the field catalog.  as i remember its a seperate T-code/menu path to create price catalog. we maintain price for the new created vendor  and when we create PR . price copied from the price catalog in PR for the defined vendor.
I dont want to use info record.

  • Creating PRICAT IDOC for Price Catalogs

When using trn VPRE to create PRICAT, the values from the pricing condition records do not pull into the IDOC, (validity dates, amount, per unit, etc)  OSS note exists for prior versions of SAP but we are on 5.0

    Hi,
Is it an Inbound Idoc or Outbound?
Can you just have  a look at IDOC_INPUT_PRICAT function module if this serves yur purpose.

  • Optimizing MATERIAL Price List

    Hello All,
We have Material Database of more than 2 000 000 records.  Creating a price file is very time consuming task.
Up to now We use FM "PRICING" to determine the correct price according to relevant customer. I can optimize Material Data reading whit mass reading MARA. But "PRICING" itself is done is by single material.
So the question is do you have any clue how can I make pricing on more than one material effectively. I've created some parallelisation  of the process  but the real slow down is because the FM Pricing is created for single material only.
    Regards Ognian Kalaydjiev

    Hello Ognian,
what do you mean with rewriting the pricing? I don't think it's possible. SAP pricing is quite complex and it considers many different things.
If you really want to have DYNAMIC prices in your price catalog, you'll have to live with the current solution.
Some questions from the business point of view: which customer really wants to see up-to-date prices for 2.000.000 materials?
Isn't it too much? And would it be possible to update prices on a less regular basis storing the results in some temporary tables?
    Regards,
      Yuri

  • Material and Price export to an External System

I've a Problem, I will send Materials with sales Price from SAP to an external System. I will use the IDOC MATMAS01, but I can't send the price with it? Is that correct? How I can send the sales Price for each Material? Is it possible to send more than one Material (mass export) with MATMAS01 per process? Or I had to define a Product or Price Catalog?
Or is there a better way by using a BAPI for this use case? Which BAPI?
    Thanks

Thanks for the answers, now I've two ways to implement that, first with IDOC MATMAS01 and Idoc COND_A with an enhancement VKOE0001 PRICING CONDITION. And the second one with the BAPI.
    Which is the better way?
And how I create a BAPI for Material and Sales Price?
    Thanks

  • PRICAT price determination

    Dear all
We need to send out an automated Price Catalogue to one of our customers every week covering the pricing for the next week. From what I see only one date can be entered in the price determination tab of the catalogue in VPRICAT. If I leave this blank then the validity of the material in the catalog is supposed to be taken but it looks like only one price is included in the message?
How can we achieve to include several prices (in case there is a price change say tomorrow we need to include today's price and tomorrow;s one in the same transmission).
    any help highly appreciated!

SAP allows only one price date...
If you dont enter the key price date, Price date is taken from the Validity base date @ material assortment.
Iam also working on the similar solution. If I make headway, I will communicate to you.
Iam also working on price change notification (weekly)...Do you know to how to use send it out.
    Here's the approach.... Iam using.
    1. Planning to use the same price catalogue and change the key price date for next week --> Generate Price catalog (PRICAT02) IDOC with new price.
SAP though recognize the key price date change happened @ header but its not re-pricing them based on the new date.
    Any Help is greatly appreciated.

  • Purchasing Document Open Interface Error - Blanket Purchase Agreement

    Hi all.
I have a problem creating a blanket purchase agreement through the interface. What i did was this:
    INSERT INTO po_headers_interface (interface_transaction_id,
    batch_id,
    interface_source_code,
    process_code,
    action,
    group_code,

    document_type_code,
    document_num,
    currency_code,
    agent_id,
    vendor_id,
    vendor_site_id,
    ship_to_location_id,
    bill_to_location_id,
    approval_status,
    amount_agreed,
    effective_date,
    expiration_date)
    VALUES
    INSERT INTO po_lines_interface (interface_line_id,
    interface_header_id,
    action,
    line_num,
    line_type,
    line_type_id,
    item_id,
    category_id,
    quantity,
    unit_price,
    taxable_flag,
    tax_code)
    VALUES
Then i run from the application "Import Price Catalogs" to import the BPA.
I get this error in po_interface_errors: "No corresponding Blanket Agreement line available for this Price Break record. (COLUMN_NAME=SHIPMENT_NUM)"
I mention I don't want to create a price break for the BPA i just want to create the line for the BPA. Anyone knows what I am doing wrong????
I also got other errors b4 but I could resolve them.
Thanks for any help on this.

  • ESYU: PDOI를 이용하여 생성되지 않은 Blanket Purchase Agreements를 PDOI를 이용하여 update 할 수

    Symptoms
    Oracle Purchasing - Version: 11.5.10.2
Information in this document applies to any platform.
PDOI에 의해 생성되지 않은 'Blanket Purchase Agreements'를 PDOI를 이용하여 update 할 수 있는 방법을 알아본다.
    Solution
Oracle Manufacturing APIs 와 Open Interfaces Manual, Release 11i, Part No. A95955-03, September 2004 documentation은
update가 되었고, 다음은 10-39 page에 update 된 내역이다.
The Purchasing Documents Open Interface updates blanket purchase agreements and catalog quotations
    by doing the following:
First, it identifies the catalog quotation or blanket purchase agreement that needs to be updated by
comparing the supplier document number (VENDOR_DOC_NUM in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE table)
or document number (DOCUMENT_NUM in PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE and SEGMENT1 in PO_HEADERS_ALL)
with the existing supplier document number (VENDOR_ORDER_NUM for a blanket agreement,
or QUOTE_VENDOR_QUOTE_NUMBER for a catalog quotation in the PO_HEADERS table).
The supplier (VENDOR_ID or VENDOR_NAME) and document type (DOCUMENT_TYPE_CODE) must also match.
The Purchasing Documents Open Interface matches only to currently or future-effective documents that are
    not canceled or finally closed.
Its important to note that it is necessary to supply DOCUMENT_NUM in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE when trying to
update blanket purchase agreements which has not been created through the PDOI.
For documents created through PDOI, VENDOR_DOC_NUM can be specified in the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE.
Following is a sample script that has been used to load the PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE and PO_LINES_INTERFACE
to update the price of a blanket agreement.

  • Is it possible to add new line to existing Blanket Agreement through interface?

    Hi All,
I need to add a new line to exisitng list of blanket agreements.
I populated po_headers_interface and po_lines_interface and ran 'Import Price Catalogs' program.
But this is only trying to update existing line instead of creating a new one.
Please clarify whether it is possible to add just a line using the above process?
    tried multiple scenarios:
action field in both tables - ORIGINAL - error, doc already exists.
action field in both tables - UPDATE - updates existing line.
action field - (UPDATE in hdr and ORIGINAL in line) - updates existing line.
    Thanks in advance.
    Girish

    Hi All,
It's working now. populated action field as 'ADD' in po_lines_interface and it created a new line.
