Pricing doubt

My current system configuration
PR00 = Base Price = 3.64(Commercial rounding in condition type)
Quantity in Sales Order = 50
So condiiton value = 50 * 3.64 = $182
Plus Tax = MWST (say at 10%) = 18.20
Total selling price = $200.20
But from the customer point of view they are buying 50 tickets at $4.00 each = $200,the total price is actually $200.
What we need to be able to do is enter a base price of $3.636363 so we get:
50 * $3.636363 = $181.82
Plus tax at 10% = $18.18
Total selling price = $200 and not $200.20
I checked and came to know that standard SAP allows the values upto 2 decimal places (both KWERT-Condition value and KBETR-Amount/Condition rate ).
Then how can we achieve this?

Dear Christino
As already stated, since I dont have access to SAP, I have requested my colleague who is in office today to test a scenario in line with your requirement.
Following is the result of a sale order tested
Material ABC:::::::36363.63 per 1000 pc:::@ 50 pcs::::1818.18
ED @ 10%:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::181.82
ECess @ 2% on ED:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::2.42
SECess @ 1% on ED:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::1.82
TOTAL::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::2004.24
VAT @ 10%::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::200.42
GROSS VALUE:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::2204.66
For information, in sale order, PR00 36363.63 is entered manually per 1000 (not 10000 as indicated by you in above post) and successfully saved.

  • Pricing Doubt  *Pricing*

    Hi Sap Gurus,
We are planning to use 5 pricing procedure in our client business process. So for each pricing procedure we have to maintain seperate condition type for each or  otherwise  can it be possible to  use same condition types for all 5 pricing procedures please clarify my doubt
    1 more Doubt :
As for client requirement we are planing to take condition type pr00 combination as
sales org + Dis ch + Materail price group
(Instead of pr00 condition tables we are  using above combination for price)
if i use above combination will i face any problems
    please give some ideas
    Thanks & regards.......
    Mohan

    hi,
u can keep the cond same in all the prcedures- hte system will not stop u but then wats the use of doin this. wat can be done wid one, y have five to do it. so there have to be cond in some pricing procedures that depict the business scenario- like some discouts or costs. moreover there can still be procedures with overlapping cond. like taxes. make sure u do the correct determination of procedures- sales area+ doc PP+ cust PP.
as for the second query there is no harm in doin this but then it shud serve ur business needs and shud be easy to maintain.

  • Pricing doubts

    hello everybody
can anybody explain Alternative Calculation Type and Alternative Condition Base Value in Pricing Procedure. with an example

    Hi
    Alternative Calculation Type:
Normally if you want to calculate a value you have to use a calculation type for determinating the value. This calculation type is either addition, subtraction or multiplication. Similarly SAP also has got a default calculation type in the control data of the condition type. There you have the options of either Qty based , Fixed Amount Based or Percentage based.
Here what happens is suppose if you define Your condition type that calculates the base price of a material on Qty based. Then the calculation will be done based on the quantity of the material. If the customer orders 10 Nos and you have maintained a unit price of 100 Rs for each material then the value determined is 1000 INR. Similarly if the discount condition type , you maintain the calculation type as %. This means if you maintain the value of 10  % in the condition record. Then this percentage is taken as the calculation type  and the condition value is determined.
In some cases you have to forego the default calculation types and use the customer specific method for calculating a value. For ex if you are calculating the Freight charges for a Material . it depends on so many criteria like, the weight, volume  and also the minimum amount etc etc, in those cases, you forego the default value and then use the alternative calculation type in calculating the condition value against the particular condition.
    Alternative Condition Base value :
If you have to calculate any value then you have to have a base value for it. For ex if you want to calculate the  discount of 10 % for a material then you have to have a base value on which this 10% is calculated. Normally you take the  condition value of the base price of the material to calculate the value.
Now you don't want to take the base value and take other values as base value which are derived on some formulae. So you create a routine which will do the mathematical operations in the routine and derive you a value which is now used as the base value for calculating the condition value for a particular condition type.
    hope this helps

  • Net sold quantity calculation

    Hi Sirs,
    A pricing doubt as follows:
    My pricing procedure has
    1) Base price    ZBSE  = 1 per unit
    2)  Diccount   ZDISC    = 28 %
    3) Manual price ZMAN  = 5%
    So for 100 units total charge is ZBSE----- 1 x 100 = 100
                                                  ZDISC-----28% of 100 = -28
                                                  ZMAN------5% of 100=   5
                                                  Total charge =      77
    So interms of quantity sold, the quantity sold = 100(ZBSE) - 28(ZDISC) + 5(ZMAN) = 77.
    My Doubt is:
    1) Where can we see this net quanity sold. How can we check that it is calculated correctly in the system?
    2) I want the amount of money for  ZMAN to be deducted in pricing, but it should not affect the net  quantity sold.
How can remove the quantity attached to it but not the charge.
Is that possible if yes how can i acheive it?
    PLEASE SUGGEST !
    Thanks in advance

    Hi there,
    1) Defne a new line in your pricing as Net Price. Give the calculation From & To. Store the value in a subtotal for eg T. If you want to display the net quantity sold somewhere in the SO, define a new field in the screen layout, pick the value from the subtotal T & display.
If you want to print the value somewhere in the printout, pass the subtotal value in the print prog.
    2) Can you pls elaborate what functionality you want here. When calculating net price, ZMAN is already considered. It is also not effecting the net quantity as I understand.

  • Net sold quantity

    Hi Sirs,
    A pricing doubt as follows:
    My pricing procedure has
    1) Base price ZBSE = 1 per unit
    2) Diccount ZDISC = 28 %
    3) Manual price ZMAN = 5%

    So interms of quantity sold, the quantity sold = 100(ZBSE) - 28(ZDISC) + 5(ZMAN) = 77.
    My Doubt is:

    Hi there,
    You have the following scenario.
    1)Base price ZBSE = 1 per unit
    2) Diccount ZDISC = 28 %
    3) Manual price ZMAN = 5%
    1) So the item conditions looks like this:
    item 10
    quantity 100
Condition type    Rate       per       Condition Value
    ZBSE                 1            1            100
    ZDISC                 28%       1              28-
    ZMAN                5%          1                5
    Net Value                                         77
So going by this since you have quantity mentioned above you can tell if your calculation is correct or not.
    2) Your ZMAN is relevant to the G/L account only by value not by quantity. Also it will not show the quantity of the item in the A/c'g doc. It will only show the value that is assigned to the G/L A/c.

  • Doubt in Pricing

    Hi all
I have on doubt in Pricing Procedure.
We are using TAXINJ taxprocedure (formula based excise determination) in our co.
    In our pricing procedure
    Jmod - A/R Basic excise
    JEX2  - A/R Basic excise -
    Acc key---EXD(excise duty)
    JEX8 - A/R Basic excise -
    Acc key EX2(excise)
why we are using these two condition type JEX2 & JEX8 for basic excise.
one is having postive & one is having negative value.
If we are using these two for posting in excise in G/L accounts then why we are assiging acct key in Tax code also against Jmod.....from there we can also post excise in accounts.....& why +  & -  negative values are there.
Why we are using this pattern for excise condtions not for sales tax conditions.?
    Help me

    Hi,
JMOD and JEX2 - Both are excise values, if you watch carefully, the Account key is assigned only to JEX2 and not to JMOD.
JMOD is only used to calculate excise value, but for account posting, JEX2 is used.
    Similarly for JEX8.
    Reward if it helped!

  • MM pricing procedure doubt!!!

    Hello All
    1) Would like to know where we connect PO doc type to the MM pricing procedure? or it is not at all connected?
    2) Suppose i am creating a standard PO, so how system actually knows which pricing procedure to pick up out of so many maintained in SPRO?
    3) What is the meaning of Step and Cntr in MM pricing procedure?
    Thanks
    Anjan

    Hi,
All I can do is to confirm that there is NO LINK between document type and pricing procedure.
The procedure is determined by the Vendor and the P org (via groups).
The exception is the transport orders these have their own condition schemas (that is why there is a control field on the PO document types, so that you can indicate the document taypes that are for STOs)
the step and counter fields are simply methods of pointing the calculation to the correct conditions types etc.. the step is a sequence numbering when multiple condition types are to be processed in the same step.

  • Import meterial pricing procedure steps, accruvals doubt in freight conditi

pls guide me , what steps are  involved to import meterial in pricing procedure?
accrols and account keys maintain for freight conditon types , both we have to maintain or only one? if maintain in automatic account determination maintain same G/L ACCOUNT number will maintained or different no's will be maintained?

    Hi Sai
Your import pricing procedure shall contain the following:
    1) Delivery costs for Custom clearance
      - Custom duty
      - CVD
      - Ecess on CVD
      - SEcess
      - Ecess on customs
      - Addl custom duty
    2) Delivery cost for agent charges
    3) Local freight charges
All the above condition types are delivery costs only.
For every condition type, you will maintain the vendor, so that the respective condition delivery costs can be processed based on the document.
As soon as the material received at port, you will do MIRO for all the duties
By the the material reached banglore, you will do goods receipt.
The local freight can be processed based on the requirement (either before GR or after).

  • Re-pricing a invoice based in a delivery - doubt

    Hi all,
The "pricing type" in copy control from the delivery to the invoice is always define as type G (redertemine only taxes). I've a requirement that in the delivery if the user mark a z field with a flag, the invoice price should be influence. I'm thinking in using "pricing type" B, is there any collateral damage? What are your opinions?
    Note:
only in the delivery the user know if it's to the apply the surcharge.
    Thanks.

    Hi nuno,
    simple answer : no damage.
If you want to do a new pricing, you can do it.
If you want to reprice only a few conditions, you can declare these conditions als fright-conditions and do the repricing for price conditions.

    Hi Michael,
Thanks for mentioning the function modules.
My exact requirement goes like this:
I have sales order. Now I am creating the follow-up document to this. while creating the follow-up, the follow-up document should get updated with pricing condition, which we get when we click on "Retain Manual of Changes" of preceding document.
Currently I am using CRM_COPY_BADI, for creating this follow-up. But, I couldn't find any method, which updates the pricing conditions. Is there any other BADI, which can solve my purpose while creating follow-up?
Currently, I am getting the pricing conditions to my follow-up document: what ever I see on on SAPUI screen of Preceding documnet.
If I click on "Retain Manual Changes" of Preceding document and save. And then if I create the follow-up document, then it is getting what ever the conditions, the preceding document have.
But, user wants : Without clicking the button of preceding document also, the follow-up documnet should have the result of "Retain manual Changes".
I hope I am not confusing you. And I I hope you understood my requirement.
    Can you please help me?
    Thanks.

  • Doubt in IS-R: where and how do we check pricing worklist

    Hi SAP gurus,
I just want to know where do we find pricing worklist and what data can we get from pricing worklist.I want the transaction code or path to do it .I am expecting the complete answer from you. Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards
    Tonyrao

Creating the pricing worklist involves carrying out new sales price calculations for the combinations of material/organizational level that are affected by changed purchase conditions. The pricing work list is created as follows:
    1.     A new purchase price determination run is carried out with the changed conditions in line with the purchase price determination sequence in the source document.
    2.     A check is then made to establish whether relevant purchasing data has changed. If the basic purchase price, vendor, and purchase price net/net remain unchanged, no entry is made in the pricing work list.
    3.     If the check reveals that changes have been made to the purchasing data, the sales price is determined. This is generally carried out in line with a mark-up calculation.
    Procedure :
    a. VKP5 : create pricing document.
    b. MM42 : Change vendor purchasing in Article, and Change Sales Price PB00 for Articles.
    c. MEK2 : Changing the vendor purchasing price with direct condition maintenance
In above steps you have changed the vendor purchasing price for an article. This is used as the basis for creating the pricing worklist. You use the pricing worklist to create pricing suggestions for the affected articles, on all levels of the organizational structure for which prices were initially calculated based on the changed condition.
WVN0 : Generating Pricing Worklist (Master Data -> Pricing -> Pricing Worklist ->Generate)
Further step is Price Worklist Release. Processing for the u2018pricing suggestionsu2019 is done in this step. Here, for each calculation you have to decide whether you want to accept the automatically calculated prices, change them or reject the calculation.
WVN1 : process pricing worklist, (Master Data -> Pricing -> Pricing worklist -> Release ->For Article)
You may like to refer SAP Best Practices for SAP Retail pricing which will give you detailed explanation on your topic.

  • Doubt in pricing procedure

    Hi,
I have configured a pricing procedure. Here I want to calculate JMOD for 2 conditions.
For ex PR00,PR01,where PR01 is statistical.
When i create sales order,JMOD is calculated only for PR00. How can i calculate it for both the condition types.
Tried by putting from and to as well. Still its not working.
    Kindly help

    Hi,
You should do the following things in your pricing procedure
Soln 1: in step where u calculate JMOD in from and to column add the step nos so that it calculates on both condition type
    10 : ZPR0
    20 : ZJM1
    30 : JMOD - 10 to 20
    40 : Total - 30
    OR
Soln 2 : Add a addition step with subtotal stating from and to as step no for earlier conditions and then enter the step no in from column of the JMOD condition type.
    10 : ZPR0
    20 : ZJM1
    25 : Subtotal - 10 to 20
    30 : JMOD - 25
    40 : Total - 30
This would help u solve ur issue.

  • Pricing procedure Doubt

    Dear SAP Guru's
I have 4 scenario's like scrap sales, deemed export, domestic sales and jobworks - and i have a customer 300000 - i assigned all the pricing procedures.
but in XD01 we assign customer pricing procedure which is mandatory like 1, A, c etc. but if the same customer i have to do scrap sales, deemed export and jobworks - what do i have to do.
    Kindly guide me
    regards,
    Reshmi

    Hi,
As you know we do the pricing procedure determination in <b>OVKK</b> as mentioned below:
    <b>Sales Org, + Dis Channel + Division + DPP + CPP + Pricing procedure + Condition type.</b>
DPP - document pricing procedure will change
CPP - customer pricing procedure will not change
    Do the following thing:
    For all scenarios create different sales document type in VOV8 For eg;
    <b>Scrap - ZSCR
    Deemed Export - ZDEM
    Domestic sales - ZDOM
    Jobwork - ZJOB.
Copy all from 'OR' , rename and save them.</b>
Go to <b>OVKI</b> - maintain document pricing procedure. For eg:
    <b>3 - Scrap
    4 - Deemed export
    5 - Domestic sales
    6 - Job work
    Save them</b>
Go to <b>OVKJ</b> - assign DPP to ales document type.
    Here do the following
    <b>ZSCR - 3
    ZDEM - 4
    ZDOM - 5
    ZJOB -6
    Save the settings</b>.
<b>The customer pricing procedure will be the same for a customer suppose 'A' standard.</b>
    Go to <b>OVKK</b>
Here maintain the pricing procedure determination changing the <b>DPP</b> everytime and assign the correct pricing procedure for Scrap, Deemed export, Domestic sales & Job work for respective DPPs 3, 4, 5 & 6. Save the settings.
Now whenever you create the sales order in <b>VA01</b> using the respective sales document type the system will determine the correct pricing procedure because of <b>OVKJ</b> assignment & <b>OVKK</b> pricing procedure determination.
This will definitely solve your problem.
    Reward points if solution helps.

  • Pricing type doubts

    Hi Gurus,
I am unsure exactly how is pricing type configured.
    1. I know it is set in copy controls but i need to confirm is it also assigned to a pricing procedure. Can i know which setting is this referred to in the pricing procedure? So far, i have been configuring at conditio type level only.
    2. New pricing function. Is it referring to use of pricing type or it means pricing type itself?
    3. new pricing document function. is it also meaning the pricing type?
    4. Menu : Edit -> New Pricing document :  does it mean this menu will bring to spro configuration screen to assign a pricing type to the pricing procedure?
    have a nice day.
    regards
    M Russo

Pricing Type is maintained in the copy controls at the Item level. We have options of "copy pricing unchanged", "Redetermine pricing"....etc.
Pricing type is also maintained @ pricing procedure level. In the pricing procedure intiial screen (T Code V/08) , you have column "Pricing Type". You can assign any required pricing type here. The pricing type assigned here will get applicable when you reprice any sales order.
Edit > New pricing document - this is used to reprice the whole of sales order @ Sales order header level. Pricing Type assigned to the pricing procedure(as mentioned above) will determine how the repricing is carried out.
