Pricing procedure in delivery

Dear Experts
SAP has made provision for a pricing procedure to be used at Delivery level - What would be the purpose for having a pricing procedure at delivery level?
Regards
SDC

Hi,
Basically the pricing procedure is assigned to delivery because of different changes in it before it ultimately reaches the customer.
e.g. like after a sales order is created, it has many discounts, taxes, surcharges.
But during delivery also there are additional charges, like octroi, freight, etc charges.
These cannot be tolerated into company profits, hence they are calculated at delivery level to capture their exact value.
Also these cannot be pre-defined and be operated at any location, hence they are alloted at delivery level.
For delivery related pricing procedure,
To see pricing in delivery follow this path
SPRO>Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Pricing>Define Pricing Procedures for Delivery> in that screen select your delivery document type and assign the corresponding "pricing procedure" then u can see the pricing in delivery also.
regards,
Siddharth.

  • Assign pricing procedure to delivery type

    Hi All
At the moment, my outbound delivery note doesn't contain the pricing condition in item level. what I am trying to do is to copy the pricing condition listed in Sale Order into the outbound delivery note automatically when I run the VL01N.
The problem is that one of condition type in the pricing procedure is set to manual entry, therefore after I had assigned the pricing procedure to delivery type, only the manual entry pricing condition is not copied, I have to manually key in the price again.
Does anyone know what can I do to copy overall pricing procedure listed in the SO into the outbound delivery note without manually entry.
    Thanks for your time
    Alvin

    Dear Lakshmipathi,
As your suggested, I have 2 questions.
    1. The condition type is supposed to be set as manually entry, if I untick the Man. checkbox, would it create other problem in future.
    2. as you suggested, I did try to untick the three checkbox (Man. Mdt. Stat.) for the condition type. however, the rate of the conditoin type still can not be copied from Sale order to the delivery doc. Any idea?
    Thanks

  • Different pricing procedure in delivery

    Dear All,
In STO scenario we are sending material from mfg plant to Depots, Sales area defined for STO 1001,20,PP where till now we have used only one pricing procedure in Delivery(NL) & Billing (F8), but due to business requirement we want maintain different pricing procedure for different divisions (02,03,04,05). But due to sales are are same we are not able to determine different pricing procedure in delivery. Plz advice how I can achieve this.
    regards,
    sps.

    Hi S P Shukla,
First of all pricing procedures are determined on the following basis or you can say determination rule
Sales Area + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure=Pricing Procedure
here document pricing procedure is for the sales document type here you can use delivery document type procedure, which is an indicator i believe is in the document type configuration.

  • Pricing in outbound delivery without ref to sales order

    Hello,
I am creating a delivery without ref to sales order. I need to do pricing in the delivery for the material sold.
1 ) I have never done the above. can someone tell  what are the config steps for  the same and what is the t code to create condition records (is it same as VK11 ).
2 ) secondly I need to carry the pricing in the delivery to the proform invoice created with ref to delivery. How to do the same.
    regards
    Pamela

    Hi
1 ) I have never done the above. can someone tell what are the config steps for the same and what is the t code to create
condition records (is it same as VK11 ).
Yes You need to maintain Condition Records Through VK11 only
2 ) secondly I need to carry the pricing in the delivery to the proform invoice created with ref to delivery. How to do the same.
But i am not why you required pricing procedure in delivery , but most the cases Delivery level we required Freight Charges
At the time of Pro-forma Invoice system will pick the pricing procedure and you can check
if you still want pricing procedure in Delivery level , assign Pricing procedure to Delivery Type
Menu Path: SPRO> Logistics Execution>Shipping>Basic Shipping Functions>Pricing--->Define Pricing Procedures for Delivery

  • How  does systemn determin pricing procedure of billing type

How does system determinate pricing procedure of F2???????????????????
By doc.pric.proc? but in IMG, it is empty!!!
and I don't think it is reference sales order's pricing procedure
because if you use OR + TAN, the reference document of billing is delivery order!!!!!!

    Hi zhang
In pricing procedure determination OVKK , whatever DuPP you maintain that is linked to Billing document
In VOV8 we can see the CuPP  of the document . so if the DuPP is linked to CuPP in OVKK then the same pricing procedure will be flowing to billing document also  . Apart from that in VOV8 also make sure that , in billing data you are maintaining the billing  type

  • Pricing Procedure in stock transfer orders

    Hi
I have a standard cost material which is to be stock transferred from one plant to another. (std cost in both plants). In this movement, I need the accounting document to generate an accrual to another account for Royalty that has to be paid at a later date to government.
This is not a delivery cost for which I will do any invoice verification. It is only an amount to be accrued to this account for every movement.
Example: Material at 10/- std cost in supply plant, 12/- std cost at receiving plant, when I am moving 1 unit, accounting normally will have cr inventory supply plant 10/-, dr inventory receiving plant 12/- and price difference 2/-.
Assuming a royalty of 1/- per unit, the above accounting should have an additional entry cr 1/- Royalty account.
I tried using stock transfer pricing procedure with a condition for Royalty (not delivery cost condition) with account key. But it is not hitting the royalty account.
Can some one suggest how to setup the pricing procedure in such case for stock transfer?
    Greatful for any help.

  • Different  Pricing Procedure for Sale order and Billing Document

    Hello Experts
As per scenario,we create Excise Invoice (T-Code J1IIN) on Basis of Proforma Invoice.Proforma Invoice and Excise Invoice follow Pricing from Sale Order.AS per pricing Some excise condition types are get update in Proforma and excise Invoice.
AS Per Customer Payment Confirmation we Create Export Billing Invoice (T-code VF01) on basis of Outbound delivery.
Issue -: AS per export Billing Rule we don't want to update Excise Condition type in Export Billing Document, and at same time it should not create any accounting entries for same condition type. we Dont want excise Duity in Export Billing Document as Export Billing Doccumnet aslo Follow Pricing procedure of Sale order
Should i create new Pricing procedure or what other things to solve above issue.
    Please help me out
    Thanks and Regards
    Pash@SD

    Hello,
The key to your requirement can be maintenance of Excise condition type with proper access sequence and accordingly maintain condition record for them.
You create an access sequence with following access:
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp / Materia
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / Price grp / Mat.pr.grp
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / Region / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
    - Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp
For export maintain condition record based on any key combination, say for
    Country / Plant / PlntRegion / TaxCl1Cust / Mat.pr.grp - Tax % - Tax Code
    FR / 1000 / KR / 03 (EXPORT) / 04 / 0% / V1
I hope this can assist you.

  • Different Tax base in pricing procedure for a single sales order for different line item material.

    Hi,
I have a scenario wherein in a sales order, for two different material, the tax base of pricing should get triggered on the basis of sold to party and the material entered at line item level.
Logic triggers on the basis of Region of Customer & a unique field in the Material Master but problem comes in the calculation of Tax base as the sequence of condition type (from – to)  is already defined in the pricing procedure to pick from a particular step but in second line item the base is different i.e. the sequence of condition types that are maintained in pricing procedure should be different for Tax to calculate differently.
Kindly suggest if the same can be handled in a single pricing procedure and dynamically taking care of condition type sequence through Alt Cal Base Formula, so far I’ve tried both Alt Cal Formula & Base but it is not working
Client doesn’t want to go ahead by creating two different orders (through separate Pricing Procedure) for that. They want to have both materials in same order.
Kindly suggest a suitable way to handle this scenario.
    Regards,
    Aashika Agarwal

    Hi,
Click on the ''check availability'' button at item overview and then click on ''One-time delivery'' on the top. This will ensure that you will have only one delivery for whatever quantity is confirmed on that date.
If you want to apply this rule for all orders across a sales area, then you can do the below configuration step :
SPRO->sales and distribution->basic functions->availability check with ATP logic->Define default settings-> Here in avail. checking rule select A (one time delivery). This will ensure that all orders created for a particular sales area will have only one delivery.
    Hope this helps.

  • Tax code linked with Pricing procedure

    Hi,
How the tax code have been linked with the pricing procedure? Please explain the inter-releationship between TAXINJ and Pricing proceure ? Thanks in advance.
    BK

    Hi,
You have asked two questions in your response, I will answer these seperately.
<i>How the tax code has been linked for the CENVAT creditable items</i>
For Cenvat creditable items, you will have to define tax codes that have values  corresponding to condition types JIP5, JIP6, JIP7, JIP8, JIP8 (in FTXP). Respective G/L accounts will have to be assigned against the Accounting keys by the Finance team. These tax codes can then be used in PO.
<i>How these two pricing procedures have been incorporated in SAP and which one will take precedency</i>
Net price calculated from the pricing procedure you define (which starts with Gross price and includes Discounts and Surchages) is passed on as the Base Amount to TAXINJ. Applicable taxes are calculated on this and the calculated value is passed on to your pricing procedure through the condition types NAVS/NAVM. You should add NAVS / NAMV after the net is calculated. This when added to the delivery costs (freight, forwarding charges) will give you the effective value.
    Hope this answers your queries.

  • Urgent: How to bring the same pricing procedure in reversal order??

    Hi,
We have recently implementated CIN at our client location. For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders, system is bringing the new pricing procedure with CIN condition types?
Can we bring the same pricing procedure in the reversal order as in the sales order?
    Please advise urgently.
    Regards,
    Peeyoosh.

    Dear Peeyoosh
I am unable to understand from your comments
"For the orders present in the system before CIN implementation, when we are creating the reversal orders"
Please let me know how do you reverse a sale order.  To my knowledge, we can reverse delivery and billing but not sale order.  Either we can close the sale order by assigning some reason for rejection or delete the sale order.
This being the case, please let me know why you are reversing and how you are reversing.  If you want the same pricing procedure for both normal sales and returns, then maintain the same pricing procedure for both document types.
    thanks

  • Is it possible to change pricing procedure in sales order VA02

    Hi,
My client need to change the pricing procedure in their RETURN order because they implemented a new pricing procedure for the specific distribution channel.  However, since the return order was created with reference to invoice, the old pricing procedure was copied instead of the new that was implemented.  Is there a way that they can still change the pricing procedure in the return order?  Here is the scenario for better understanding.
    1. Sub-distributor sales order created (distribution channel = 60) on 5/24/2014.  The pricing procedure maintained was ZRVB01.
    2. Delivery and Billing was created on the same date with pricing procedure ZRVB01.
    3. A new pricing procedure ZRVB12 was created for distribution channel 60 on 6/2/2014.
    3. Return order was created with reference to the billing document in step 2 on 6/24/2014.  The pricing procedure of the return order was still ZRVB01, instead of ZRVB12.
    4. In VA02, the field pricing procedure is not modifiable.
Need advice how my client can proceed in correcting the pricing procedure on their return order.
    Appreciate your response.
    Thank you.
    Emil

Since your requirement is to calculate the different price for the returned qty, please check for the return order if you can make any manually change the price as required.
Please note you can not change the pricing procedure in document, but you can change the price of the material as suggested above.
I assume you already knew the pricing procedure determination, how it is determined.(Sales area+DPP+CPP).
If you want to have different pricing procedure to be determined for the same customer in return sales , you must have the following determination so that it would be determined the 2nd pricing procedure during return order.
    Example :
For standard sales : Sales area + DPP in OR(A- standard)+ CPP( 1 standard) =ZRVB01
For return Sales : Sales area + Dpp in RE (B- return)+CPP(1 standard) =ZRVB12.
    thanks,
    Srinu.

  • Stock Transport Order Pricing Procedure

    Dear Experts,
Please let me know the opssibility to configure pricing procedure for STO (Stock Transport order between two plants of same Company code..
    Pls explain in detail

    Hi,
In SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here assign Calculation Schema "RM2000" i.e. Stock Transfer Document to Schema Grp Pur. Org, STO Type (For e.g. UB) and Supplying Plant.
Calculation Schema "RM2000" has condiiton type P101 which will pick up the MAP of supplying plant automatically during creation of STO in ME21N ("Conditions" Tab).
You can create new freight/delivery cost conditions in M/06 and assign in pricing procedure "RM2000" in M/08

  • Pricing procedure change

    HI expert,
Please let know which scenario at the time of creation sales order having different pricing procedure and at time of creation of billing document having different  Pricing.
    Best Regards
    Shashi Singh

    Hi,
The variant in Pricing between BILLING & SALES will be only at the INTERCOMPANY BILLING SCENARIO
In the Intercompany billing process, The Customer places the order with Company code A , as the company A does not have the stock of the material it places it with the Company code B ( here both are under same Company and these should be considered as COMPANY CODES)
Company code directly delivers the goods to Customer  and Company A bill to customer and Company B inturn bills to Company A.
Billing of Company B to Company A will be done with reference to the same Delivery document as it was done for General Billing ( from Company A to Cstomer)
Pricing procedure assigned to these is done in OVKK with change in SALES DOCUMENT PRICING PROCEDURE & BILLING DOCUMENT PRICING PROCEDURE.
For Billing between these two company code, you have to define an INTERCOMPANY CUSTOMER and assign this to the Company A.
Apart from the Intercompany process, you can also define different pricing procedures as per your client requirement.
    regards,
    santosh
