Pricing requirement: condition to be in(active) linked to another condition

Hi,
I have created 2 new conditions type YR05 and YR06 in pricing procedure.
I would like that the second one (YR06) is considered as active only if amount of condition type YR05 is different from 0. (KOMV-KEBTR and KOMV-KWERT different from 0)
Could you please advise how I should handle it as I am not so familiar with requirements and Condition base value.
In addition, I created an additional line in pricing procedure to sum the amount (condition value) of these 2 conditions (to be printed on the billing document).
Any idea of the code to put in requirement and calculation type ?

Hi,
In pricing procedure, you can put a subtotal for YPR5 (like D for XWORKD).
Then, in new routine (basis or formula), you can check if XWORKD <> ' '.
If yes, xkomv-kinak = ' ', if no, xkomv-kinak = 'X'.
This is just an idea.

actually it seems its not working on multiple instances of the same button.
nvm found out why,lol...it was because i ndidnt have an actual link associated with the other instances of the button....all good now:)

VOFM Pricing Requirement - Condition type at header

Hi Experts,
We have a new condition type, we want to use it in all our new invoices and has been made mandatory in the pricing procedure. Both the sales order and invoice have the same pricing procedure. I am using a requirement routine.
The code has to execute some logic for line items and pass the value to the new condition at the line item level. For new sales orders this is working absolutely fine as we have maintained a condition record and the condition exists. While creating any invoice from open sales orders which do not have this condition type, we are entering it at the header level.
I perform my logic and pass the value for the line items in TKOMV. These values do not get saved. Whereas, the values get saved when we have other condition types that are at the line item level.
The questions I would like to ask is:
1. Is requirement routine correct for this scenario? Or should I use condition value/condition base value routines to pass new values?
2. Is the method of changing the values in internal table TKOMV correct?
3. The value from this condition type has no financial impact on the FI documents, but it is mapped to COPA. Is there a way to write code to directly update the COPA value field in the COPA side without having to create a routine?

You should not be facing this problem as system adjusts the difference in value for the last item. Try to update the prices in the doucment and check.

Show Active Link with Spry Sliding Panels

Hi,
Whilst googling to a solution to my problem I came accross this sample:

Is there anyway that simple HTML links that can be used instead of tabs? I have a navigation menu that contains links which link to specific panels using the ShowPanel() function, but once a panel is selected via one of these links, I want that link to become 'active' and display in a different colour.
So far I have this:

The 'active' class represents the link that is currently active, but I don't know how to dynamically switch the active link when another panel is selected.
Does anybody know how this could be achieved?

Als you see, they use a separate function to set active classes to the tabs. You can use the same functionality for your active link class.

Can pricing requirement be used for manual header condition

I have a manual header condition ZCR1 which will be entered in a sales document with doc type ZAB1. When this sales document is copied into another sales document ZAB2, I want that the manual header condition ZCR1 is not determined. Can I do this via pricing requirement? Or should I use alternation formula for condition base value and make the value of condition ZCR1 to zero when the document is copied into ZAB2.
Both the document types are using the same pricing procedure. In copy control for all item categories from ZAB1 to ZAB2, pricing type G (Copy pricing elements unchanged and re-determine taxes). ZCR1 is a manual condition in the pricing procedure used.

If you want the ZCR1 manual header condition should not be determined then you need to change the pricing type in the copy control but if you assign a requirement in the pricing procedure for ZCR1 condition type then you cant enter the ZCR1 condition type manually also as you are not meeting your requirement.
Another option is you have to create a new requirement with the help of Technical consultant ans assign it to the header condition type in the pricing procedure requirement feild . giving inputs to your Technical consultant that The condition type should not be determined

Or if there is already a conditin type existing and we want to make changes in the pricing requirements of that condition type, How can we do so ?
In short if you can let me know how does pricing get impacted by the condition types.

The common transactions for condition mantaining are VK11, VK12, VK13.
In SPRO - Sales and distributoin - Basic function - Pricing - Pricing control - *.

Copy pricing unchanged and pricing requirements

When we create a Return in reference to an invoice we have configured copy control to copy pricing unchanged. Even though the pricing gets copied into the return, it appears requirements in the pricing procedure are still getting executed. This results in the original active condition to get de-activated because it failed the pricing requirement on the return. Is this normal behavior of SAP to execute pricing requirements on the target document when we have configuration to copy pricing unchanged?

One question about Pricing and Conditions puzzle me for a long time.I take one example to explain my question:
1-First,my sale order use pricing procedure RVAA01.
2-Next,the pricing procedure RVAA01 have some condition type,such as EK01(Actual Costs),PR00(Price)....,and so on.
3-Next,the condition type PR00 define the Access Sequences PR00 as it's Access Sequences.
4-Next,the Access Sequences PR00 have some Condition tables,such as:
     table 118 : "Empties" Prices (Material-Dependent)
     table 5 : Customer/Material
     table 6 : Price List Type/Currency/Material
     table 4 : Material
5-Next,I need to maintain Condition tables's Records.Such as the table 5(Customer/Material).I guess the sap would supply one screen for me to input the data of table 5.At this screen,the sap would ask me to select one table,such as table 5.When I select the table 5,the sap would go to the screen to let me input the data of table 5.But when I use the T-CODE VK31 or VK32 to maintain Condition tables's Record,I found it's total different from my guess:
A-First,I can not found one place for me to open the table,such as table 5,to let me input the data?
B-Second,For example,when I select the VK31->Discounts/Surcharges->By Customer/Material,the sap show the grid view at the right side.At the each line of the grid view,you need to select the Condition Type at the first field.And this make me confused very much.Why the sap need me to select one Condition Type but not the Condition table?To the normal logic,it ought not to select Condition table but not the Condition Type!

You said that you are using the T.codes VK31 or VK32.
These transaction codes are used to enter condition records for standard condition types. As you can see a grid left side having all the standard condition types like price, discounts, taxes, frieghts.
Pl check using T.code VK11 OR VK12 (change mode)
Here you can enter the required condition type, in the intial screen. (like PR00, MWST, K004, K005 .....etc)
After giving the condition type, press enter or click on Combinations icon on top of the screen. Then you can see all the condition tables which you maintained for that condition type. Like as you said table 118, table 5, table 6 and table 4.
You can select any table and press enter, then you can go into the screen in which you have all the field cataglogues you maintained for that table. For example you selected combination of Customer/Material (table 5) then after you press enter then you can see customer field on top, and material fields.
You can give all the required values and save the conditon record.

Condition Type: PR00
Requirement 2 Item with Pricing
Purpose:
This is an example of a pricing requirement. This requirement is met if the document item category is relevant for pricing and no previous condition in the pricing procedure has set the condition exclusion flag. This requirement can be assigned to condition types in the pricing procedure to avoid unnecessary accesses to the database when an item is not relevant for pricing or a condition exclusion indicator has been set.
Example: 2
Condition Type: Net value
Calculation Type: 2 Net value
Purpose:
This is an example of a condition value formula. This type of formula can be used to influence the value shown for the condition in pricing. A condition value formula is assigned to a condition type or value line in the pricing procedure.
Formula '2' sets the value equal to net value that has been calculated so far for the item in the pricing procedure. It contains the amount excluding taxes.
Example: 3
Condition Type: R100
Alt.Condition Base Value: 28 (100% Discount)
Purpose:
This is an example of a condition base value formula. A condition base value formula can be used to influence the basis the system uses when computing a pricing value. A condition base formula is assigned to a condition type in the pricing procedure.
Formula '28' sets the rate of the condition to a 100% discount. This formula was delivered with condition type R100 to support free goods functionality.

Send an activation link to new user's email ID in webdynpro java

We have developed a custom Web Dynpro java application for the SAP user self registration.
The user is being created successfully in UME db and we are also able to send an email to the user's registered Email ID.
Now, as per the requirement we also want to send an activation link to the user's email id so that once the user clicks there then only the user ID gets activated
Kindly let us know the steps involved so that we can achieve the functionality.

i think it's so general, nothing to do with sap
1.lock the created user when creation
2. create a table to store the newly created user
3. create a servlet to receive the activation call
4. remove user from the table and unlock user

Pricing Error- Condition type not found.

Hi Gurus,
I have a issue with pricing.
Scenario :
For a pricing procedure i have 3 condition types ;
For example :
ZXED, ZXE1 & ZXE2.
Of these ZXED is Manual, Mandatory & Statistical in nature.
ZXE1 & ZXE2 are Manual.
When i create a sales order my pricing procedure is getting determined correctly.
The issue comes in when i try to key in the values at the item level condition in the sales order:
If i see the options(F4) available for me to select the condition types i get have see only one condition type i.e ZXE1. but esentially i should get to see all the 3 condition types as an choice of code(condition type).
Can any one help me to find out the possible reason why i get to have only one condition type for selection.

Hi,
1. Understand onething that a particular condition type if maintained "mandatory" in the pricing procedure then you will have to create the condition record for it using transaction code "VK11". If it is manual then you can give the rate directly in the sales order after selecting it. Since you have maintained "manual", "mandatory" & "statistical" for the condition type "ZXED" at the same time that is why the system is giving you the error "Pricing error" Mandatory condition ZXED is missing."
2. Also you want the system to show you all threee condition types "ZXED', "ZXE1", "ZXE2" to choose manually as per your requirement. Do one thing go to transaction code "V/06" - select the required condition type say "ZXED" - double click on it - in the "changes which can be made" section you will see a field for "Manual entries" - in this select "no limitations" and save the condition type. Similarly do it for the other 2 condition types and save it.
I tell you you must have maintained there "D-not possible to process manually". If this is maintained then the system will never show you the condition type to choose from the condition type list in the sales order.
Note: You have maintained for "ZXED" manual/mandatory/statistical. Now as it is mandatory also you have to maintain the condition record for it in "VK11". Now if you change the rate of this condition type in the sales order then when you will create the invoice in "VF01" the system will show that value only which has been maintained using "VK11" because in billing also the system fetches the condition record from VK11 for the mandatory conditions.
Hope this clarifies and solves your doubt.

Activation link does not work

When I click on the activation link (https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Activate/montereylaw.edu/004d93af83 dc73e45cb47dc42255d0419e7c20295e55e41afe46dbbbdb28956715450886c5) I receive an error error message box that says, "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-9812).
I tried the link from my work desktop, personal off network laptop (windows vista) and an iPad 1 and received error messages on all of them.
Any ideas?

The activation link appeared to work in our testing as expected, but for security purposes we have reset your site and sent a new site activation email. Site activation requires the iTunes application be present on the system in order to complete and it is not supported on an iPad.

Testing Pricing Requirements

Hy Guys,
how do you test the pricing requirements (ex. manual conditions, manual deposit condition, free of charge deposit cond, mixed palled surcharge etc) ??? So you create sales orders, credit memos and so on, and then..?

You can do it yourself in transaction VOFM, Requirements>Pricing. Then highlight the requirement number and and click the "source text" button.
Click on the first statement (probably a statement like "sy-subrc = 4"), and then click the "stop" button to set the break point. You can then process an order and it should break in that bit of code. Keep on hitting F5 and watch the sy-subrc value - if it is 0 at the last line of code, then the requirement has been met. If not zero, then it has not been met and that price will not be determined.
Don't forget to remove your breakpoint in VOFM afterwards.
