Hello Experts,
I have a very unique requirement. I have some data which I need to print in pdf(using RTF template) in the following manner:
Serial_num Amount Serial_num Amount
1 $100 2 $50

Is it possible using grid in rtf template to populate the data in this manner.
Please Suggest.

But it is displaying the default Format like bellow formats.
For short - mm/dd/yy
For Medium - mmm dd , yyyy
For Long - thursday ,mmm dd , yyyy
it was prinitng in above mentioned format,
but here i want to print my own format for USA like MM/DD/YYYY.

I developed one report which downloads the data into PDF format and saved in C drive but my problem is
in my program : Line size of the report is 255 in PDF it is splitting into 2 lines. it has to show in a single line. how to do it. how to reduce the width of the output? i am sending my code below. anybody can suggest me how to do it. if possible please send me the code.

actual problem is what u said it is decreased the wiidht of the output.
now the output is:

How to print the page in custom format

Hi All,
I've a login page like
USER ID : Test box to enter data
PASSWORD: Text Box to enter data
A Button named as Print
When i click on print button i want to print the form in custom format. when i use window.print in java script it is printing text boxes and button . but i dont want to print button and text boxes. i just want to print the user id and password entered by the user with corresponding labels.
Can anyone suggest me how to print the page in the above format with out using the request object. coz i need to implemnt above with plain java script and html.

We need to include the data inside the Notes field in the report MIR6 - INVOICE OVERVIEW - report.
Is there any way to print the data inside (comments) the Notes field as well in the Report ?
We found that the only way is to open the Notes and print it, but it takes time, any idea ?

There's nothing built-in that does that. If you only have text fields and they don't have any formatting or other property that would prevent it (e.g., Date, character limit), you can run a simple script to populate each field with the field name, and then print. A more complicated approach would be a script that adds text annotations near/over each field that shows the field name. This would just be for documentation purposes, but it's possible. Post again if you'd like help with the first. You'll probably have to pay someone for the second approach if you don't want to do it yourself.

Actually, when we select fields , then they got arranged horizontally.
Like :

But i need to display the data in vertical format like :

Is it possible while displaying data? Pls help me.

Use
Customer_ID||'Less than Symbol br Greater Than Symbol'||Customer_Name
in the Answers Formula column and change the data format to HTML. That will print the Customer ID and Customer Name one below the other.
HTML is not allowed in the forum. So, change the Less than and Greater than Symbols above to the actual symbols while entering the formula.

Xsl/Xml - How can I print the date?

That might sound like a silly question but no matter what I do, I get an error when I try to select or copy the value of fn:current-dateTime(). All I want to do is display the date and time. Is this only available in XSLT 2.0? If so, what could I use in XSLT 1.0 that would allow me to print the date and/or time?

I just discovered that you can call java within an xsl stylesheet. What I need is to capture the "system time" when the stylesheet is processing. So here's a snippet of what I have in my stylesheet:

Now u simply have to concatenate the way u want
continue those code lines with these statements

This is how i do in my hr reports and it work fine. this will exactly give u that format
P_date what i used there u declare this way
data: p_date type pa0001-begda,

How can I print the DATE in the Header/Footer but NOT the TIME?

I know how use page set-up to change the headers and footers. Firefox doesn't give me the choice of printing just the DATE rather than the DATE/TIME. I tried Custom Date and it printed "Date", and not the date. I tried &Date and it print the Date & Time.
Is there a way to print just the date?

I am using window.print() to print the data of my webpage, it prints only first page and left the remaining while it works fine with IE and Google Chrome, ie print all the pages.

My Page has data more than one page, it has verticle scroll bar to view all data .
I used window.print() to print the data of webpage, but it prints only first page and left the remaining information.
This works fine with Internet Explorer 6+ and Google Chrome.

If you have an internal table which fetches the data... Then you can have table in each window and in the data tab give from row and to row values to display how many records and from where to where you want to display.
