Printing BTN3 PLD to Excel?

Experts,
I have a client who want to use the 'Batch Report in Document structure' (BTN3) as a Certificate of Analysis. It would help them to print this to Excel. They use PLD as the layout designer.
I did batch entries on a Delivery and Goods Receipt PO where I can print this batch report as the second page. But when I want to export these documents to Excel only the Delivery and Goods Receipt PO is exported, not the Batch Report.
How can I export this Batch Report linked to the Delivery to Excel?

You probably need create your own query report to export to excel.

I think, It is not possible in SAP B1.
so, Try to Create Single PLD and Use Number of Layout Pages -> 2 in PLD.
->> Open the Require PLD.
->> Right Click in PLD and Choose the Display Document Properties.
->> Assign the Number of Layout Pages = 2 in Paper Format Tab on Document Properties Window.

Text getting cut off when printing to PDF from Excel

     I've seen a lot related to this subject but nothing that shows a real solution.
     Using Excel 2003-sp3 and Adobe Acrobat v.9 Standard, the right half of the last character in the string gets cut off. It prints from excel fine.
     It's not always the text that is the right-most on the page either. An affected PDF file is attached - note the cut off "S" on the last line (NET ASSETS OF GOVERNMENTAL ACTIVITIES).
     Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi,
i don't think it depends on the print layout designer.
when you print it you have the choice to select the printer and change the settings.
when your printer driver supports it you should be able to print it.

Output from Web, Printing OR Export to Excel

Hi.
A minimum requirement for GoLive of our Web project is that there should be some way of outputting the result of the query, and for the time being we can live with it being EITHER printing OR Export to Excel. (Output to Excel means output to 'proper' Excel, not a web appearance of Excel)
Output that doesn't include the selected input parameters (and the report title) is not fit for purpose, and it appears that in order to overcome this hurdle on either means of output I have to resort to Prakash's blog on using the XPATH programming language.
Or maybe note 1069368 on PDF export, but using 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_EXPORT also appears to not work.
Or we use the Information field (text elements, I believe) in a Container Web Item. But adding text elements one by one is not a workable solution either.
Or The 3rd-Party route. But we really don't want to go there.
SO.... standing back a little. SURELY, I think, someone out there has been here before, its not rocket science that I'm trying to do!
So what is my question? Well, I want to know how other people have addressed this issue, please...

Is there another OSS note that tells you really what to do?

I have spent several days investigating this, by the way, so although I MAY have missed the obvious, I don't believe I have.
As a reward, as well as giving points, I have several documents that I have created, I am willing to share. How 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN is built, maybe, with screenshots? Or a WORKABLE version 7 workbook template for multiple queries?

Have you tried the print button in the web analyzer it does export the input filter parameters as part of the exported PDF document.
You can include any additional text elements and use a custom export template if required.

Cannot get grid to print on imported ms excel spreadsheet

hi,
i've been through the knowledge base and such on this one and the help files that come with numbers and i can't seem to get the answer i'm looking for.
there have been a number of people on here who have said they can't get the grid to stop printing on an imported excel spreadsheet. i'm having just the opposite problem ——>> i want the grid to print on a spreadsheet from excel i've imported, but each time i print i waste paper because the grid i want on it never prints.
i have done extactly what the help instructions say: i have selected the table & sheet it is on in the sheet pane, gone to the view menu and done "Show Print View," opened the inspector and chosen the table inspector button, and clicked on the cell border button to show all the grid lines. each time i print, however, they still do not show.
this is on a black macbook intel core2 duo, 2.0 ghz, 2 gb RAM, 200 gb hd, mac os x 10.4.10 with all the latest update, security and otherwise, and an hp 2510 PSC ink jet printer.
if anyone could please help me out with this, it'd be most appreciated. i like numbers so far. but one of the easiest things about ms excel is going into page set-up and choosing to show the gridlines or not in printing — you'd think there would be an easy preference or inspector choice here also, but it is not at all apparent.

I believe you have too much RAM installed ( sorry just a little Numbers' humor).
I found if I have print gridlines set in Excel, then the same settings transfer to the Numbers' version. They are _very light_ though. Here is how I change border settings. Select the range of cells, set line type, then number of points and color:

Mimes in "Print Web Report with Excel"

i am using the "How to.." Paper to implement the functionality for Printing Web Reports with Excel. I also Modify the Table during the rendering with the Modify Table Interface to set some mimes instead of inidcators in one column. The Export
into Excel Works Fine but after saving that Report in Excel, and reopen it i have
to confirm a Security Dialog / re-login . I think this is because of the mimes which refer to the WAS.
Now my Question :
Is it possible to get a result ( Exported Report into Excel with MIMES ) and avoid
a re login. I mean, to export the Mimes also.

I looked for LRSR_XLS_EXPORTF01 under program, I found the program but when I clicked into it, it prompt "there is no object list for INCLUDEs"
We have the export as excel implemented for sure. Do you think someone changed the name, or this name cannot be changed. I am new to ABAP too, but I am a programmer. Can you guide me the best way to trace this program?

HP deskjet F2480 printer : Scan and photocopy is working but fail to print for word and excel, etc.

HP deskjet F2400 series installation successful. No error detected.
Scan function and copy function perfrom as per normal. However, printing from word and excel file not functioning.

Print to pdf in excel does not print full workbook

I have 18 separate sheets in one workbook. I need to print all of the sheets into one pdf.
When I go to "Print" and "Save to PDF", the resulting PDF only includes the last 15 sheets of the full workbook.
I always select "Entire Workbook", or make the range from Page 1-18, but it will still only save the last 15 pages every time.
Are there other settings I need to change? Ideas anybody?

Hi, I never use Ms Apps, but I think I remember something about Page Breaks in Word/Excel causing PDF problems... does quite explain the 1st three missing thoigh... unless it's maybe over writing them?
Can You Print to PDF a single page #1 & such, then combine the 3 indivual ones with the 15 page one in Preview?

Printing web report by Excel

Dear BW people,
I tried to use the solution of Tobias Kaufmann to print web reports by means of Excel. When I apply this way of working to my report on BW 3.5, it works just fine. ut... when I do exactly the same on <b>BW 3.10</b> no Excel file is generated (though the HTML report refreshes).
I tried to search a reason for this in debugging mode several times and for several hours and I discussed this issue with colleagues but without any result. Anybody with experience on this topic on a BW 3.10 server? If so, did this work and were some modifications necessary?

It seems that the two notes in the requirements part is necessary for our BW3.10.
Still I still have three issues regarding the page setup of a printed Excel sheet. After spending a LOT of time, I was able to solve the problems... Is there a OfficeHTML-BW expert ?
1° I would like to put filter values in the header of each printed paper. The How To document uses this parameter in the @page section:

Is there a way to replace the queryname () by filter values?
2° On the first page the table has columnheaders (normal), but on the second page these headers are not repeated.
3° Even when I remove the <x:FitWidth>1</x:FitWidth>
<x:FitHeight>2</x:FitHeight> and the use <x:scale>100</x:scale>, the result of the report is ALWAYS printed (fit to) 1 page. Ofcourse the texts are way to small. How can I make sure the report is printed in a normal way?

FR Report Print Layout Setup for Excel

Hello All,
Is there any way to setup the Page Layout for Excel export of the report.The user will export the report from HTML view on Workspace to Excel from File Menu options.After viewing the report in excel the user should be able to directly print the report without setting the page size and all.
The Page Set Up option seems to be working for PDF but not in excel.

As far as I know, this option is limited to pdf view. It could a nice enhancements in the upcoming versions as I've heard this request many times from various clients.

How do I print multiple tabs in excel to one pdf

I am using Excel for Mac 2011 and want to select multiple tabs and have this print to one pdf file. I can print to a normal printer, and have done this for years on a PC, but the Mac pdf function seperates it into seperate files. I am happy to buy an aftermarket soeftware program for a reasonable price.

i would not have posted this without extensive experience, please don't feel slighted. There are a number of posts about this on other blogs and i am hoping this network might help me solve it.
I did make one error in my description, as it is true that sigle page documents under seperate tabs will sometimes combine into a single pdf...but not always in my experience.
I am absolutely certain that multiple page documents under seperate tabs will not combine. I will also crarify that while all tabs are portrait, they do not have the same fomatting and # of columns.
Finally, this absolutely does work in Excel 2010 for PC when writing to a pdf writer, the problem seems to be Mac based. My sense is I need to buy a 3rd party pdf writer that truly acts like a printer with its own drivers, does anyone make this?
