Printing from Quicken

My HP Officejet 6210 All-In-One will print from all programs except Quicken. I have Windows 7. My test page tells me it is correctly installed but it will not print anything from Quicken

Quicken 2002 H&B is not supported by Windows 7.

Printing from quicken 98 on Mac OS 10.3.9 doesn't work

After upgrading my father-in-law's eMac to 10.3.9 all applications worked fine, also the "classic" programs still in use like Quicken 98.
Afther the upgrade I replaced the worn out Epson printer with a Canon Pixma printer. Also that printer works fine in the 10.3.9 environment.
However printing from Quicken 98, running on OS 9.2, doesn't work.
What could be the problem? Doesn't the OS 9.2. know about this new printer or is there another issue?

The printer doesn't show when you look for the printer in Chooser in OS 9.

I need help. I can not print from QUICKEN to my HP Officejet J6480 printer. Nothing happens. It was working in the recent past. NOw that I need to print out the remainder of my record for income tax prep, it won't print. I can not thinnk of a single thing that I have doen differently. I followed the directions to have a second printer HP 990c to "fool" the program into using it but it still does nothing. I have downloaded drivers etc, unplugged and replugged etc. "QUICKEN" is useless and says that HP is working on it. Can someone help me please

Windows 7 64bit can't print from quicken

I have tried both my HP F4235 and C3150 printers with my new windows 7 computer running quicken. When i try to print a report the printer acts like it is going to print (i.e.. the carriage moves, etc.) but nothing prints. Nothing shows in the print queue. Quicken posts that it is having problems with HP printers and Windows 7 - see HP help. But I can't find anything.HELP anyone.

There have been some patches from Quicken to address these issues, make sure you have the latest updates. Quicken says only Quicken 2010 is supported in Windows 7 but suggests the following workaround.

Printing from Quicken 2003 delux

I just got the HP Officejet 6500 wireless. When I try to print checks from Quicken 2003 delux program, they are often in colors other than black or don't print at all with the error message about paper size
anyone have any ideas what I am missing? Previously we had HP office jet 6110 all in one and the printing from our Quicken program worked fine.

My HP Officejet 6500 wireless printed reports without problems for Quicken 2009, but will not print for Quicken 2010. When I send a report to it, it beeps as if it is done, but nothing prints. Any help?

I had the exact same problem. Can print reports but not checks. Made the change you suggested and it worked. So what exactly is the problem and who needs to fix it?

Latest Reader 11.0.03 & 10.1.7 Update Causes PDF from Quicken to be Unreadable

There are display issues with the latest Reader 11.0.03 & 10.1.7 Update with PDFs produced by Quicken PDF Printer from Quicken 2013 (Amyuni PDF Converter 4.0.0.7 producing a PDF version 1.3). The latest update has made the text (not images) unreadable. There are square boxes displayed in Adobe Reader where the text should be. I have verified this was caused by the latest updates and only with the Adobe product (see below).
This occurs on not only new but all historical PDFs from Quicken that prior to the update worked without issue.
Before upgrading one machine from 10.1.6 to 10.1.7, 10.1.6 displayed the Quicken PDF file correctly but after the upgrade to 10.1.7 the same file now displays the boxes.
If I use another PDF reader like the Windows 8 native Reader App that opens PDFs, it has no issue and displays all the Quicken PDFs correctly.
If highlight some of text made up of the boxes in the updated Adobe Reader and copy it and paste to Notepad, the correct underlying text is copied to NotePad.
How do I report this to the Adobe Development team to correct promptly? Thank you.

UPDATE:
Ok, so one of the users who is experiencing the problem just tried to walk over to another laptop (without the update), and open one of the PDFs with Reader. He can see all the comments on it! However, he walks to his laptop and tries the very same PDF - no comments.
The answer here seems simple, however we do not want to succumb to it. If we avoid the newest update, we no longer have to worry about this comment/annotation issue. We indeed want the latest update, but are hesitant to proceed without a solution to the existing problem at hand.

Can't print from Windows Explorer

After installing the "HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a", on a Windows 7 64-bit PC, that is Ethernet connected, I get the following error message:

When I try to print from Windows Explorer; however, I can print from other applications such as Word and Quicken OK, and I can print from Explorer OK from a Windows XP PC. Anyone have any suggestions?

The issue is caused when Windows creates the printer profile in the control panel that it doesn't correctly create it with the drivers.
We're not going to completely uninstall all the HP software, instead we're going to remove the corrupt Windows printer profile and reinstall it. Total time for this on an average computer is about 5-10 minutes to completely repair (including reboot).
1) Navigate to Start Menu > Devices and Printers or Start Menu > Control Panel > Printers
2) Select each printer profile for the printer with an issue, then select remove device/printer.
3) Reboot
4) Navigate to Start Menu > All Programs > HP > insert model # here > Add Printer (or Setup Wizard)
5) Follow the setup prompts to reinstall the printer profile and it recreates the Windows printer.
6) Test by printing google.com (uses very little ink when the test page comes out).

HP C5280 unable to print my Quicken

I have an HP C5280 Photosmart All In One inkjet printer which I'm able to print copies of emails on, web pages, MS Works documents and envelopes but I have Quicken Basic 2007 and I cannot print any reports in my Quicken. My computer's OS is Windows Home XP w/SP2 and I have the C5280 set as my default printer. Before installing the C5280 to my Dell desktop PC I had an HP 2575 which printed my Quicken with no problems. What could be the problem as to why my C5280 will not print any of my Quicken?

Please try the below steps...
Click START > Device and Printer > Add a Printer > Add a local printer >
( if the printer is connected with USB )
Select "Use Existing Port " then Virtual USB from drop down , Click NEXT, in the Manufacturing list , select HP / Hewlett packard, and from the right pane , select Deskjet 6980 and complete the wizard
OR
( if printer is on Network, )
Click START > Device and Printer > Add a Printer > Add a local printer > Select "Create a New Port" > type in the Printer's IP address Click NEXT, in the Manufacturing list , select HP / Hewlett packard, and from the right pane , select Deskjet 6980 and complete the wizard
Now try printing it should work.

I can't print from network computer while in bootcamp

Although I can see the network printer while in Windows 7 on bootcamp, I can't get it to print. I am trying to print reports from Quicken 2012. Any ideas?

Then this could be a driver issue. What brand and model of printer do you have? I want to check what driver options are available for this model.
The other possible cause is the protocol you have used, although Windows is often better at selecting the correct protocol to use compared to Mac. To check what you are using on Windows, open Devices and Printers and select the printer. Then right-click its icon and select Printer Properties. Then select the Ports tab and then click on Configure Port. Is the queue configured to use LPD or RAW?

I have the HP Officejet 8600 all in one and it wors great except that i would like to print checks from Quicken and I see no way to do it.

Problem printing from Safari to hp printer

I have been having trouble printing documents such as fedex shipping forms and epicurious recipes from safari to my hp officejet 6110. For example, a one-page document will kick out a blank page or two, then print the upper one-third of the document then kick out another blank page. This only happens with Safari. I am not having any other printing issues with other programs. Any Ideas?

I had the same problem printing to my HP 6110 All-In-One from Safari and, in addition, printing from iCal. The problem may have also been present in other OS X Tiger programs; I just may not have been aware of it. I was not, however, having printing problems with non-Tiger apps, ie. MS Office, Adobe, Quicken, etc. Following the steps outlined at the HP link below fixed my problem. Hope it helps.
