Printing logo inverted error .............
Hi all,
While printing invoice from SAP in PDF view everything is fine but when actual print comes the logo of the company is printing inverted.
Can u please help me with this ,the driver is SAPWIN

First check in t-code SE78, corresponding logo should be uploaded correctly image or not and check in SAPscript with help of programmer and also refer below note

Settings for the Logo :
01) GOTO - OAOR (Business Document Navigator)
02) Give Class Name - PICTURES
Class Type - OT
Object type - whatever you want to call your area EG: OURCOMP.... then Execute
03) Top left will say PICTURES. Bottom left will have multi tab. Select Create and double-click on Screen.
04) Select your image from the appropriate directory.
05) Give the image an appropriate name (not Screen)
06) It will tell you document stored successfully.
07) You can now find your logo under the heading OURCOMP in top left window.
08) You can reference the logo in things like FM REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE or any other area which may reference these things. EG: I_LOGO = 'OURCOMP'. You can preview image by double-clicking it.

The logo I'm using on my document looks fine on my computer and when I print. However, whenever I email this document, the logo inverts. I can't figure out why? Document is in .docx format. I believe the logo is .jpeg. Thank you for any insight!

I installed a new printer and now Photoshop Elements tells me I can't print. The error message is "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing." I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop Elements, checked my printer settings and still I can't print a photo.

Print a custom Error message in the XML bursting program's log file...
Hi,
I having this requirement, where i need to print a custom error message in the xml bursting program's log file.
Actually i am having a report where i create invoices and then those invoices are emailed to the respective customers, now say if a customer has three contacts and there is only two valid email id's so what happens is bursting will be successful for two contacts whereas the third contact dosen't get any emails. when this happens i need to log a message in the bursting programs log file stating a custom message.
Two things i want to know..
1- Whether is it possible to write into the xml bursting programs log file
2- If yes, then how..
note: it ll be greatly appreciated if the answer is elaborated.

Print Logo in Classic Report (Write Method,Not ALV)
Hi All,
I'm currently doing conversion of the All the Classic Report with addition of Header with 'LOGO'.
I'm willing to find out that Function (CALL FUNCTION 'WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT') is only able for display but not show out during printing.
Is that any method, I can do it(Print with Logo) without conversion to SAP Script or Smartform that was exhausted.
*Please take note is Classic Report with Write Method (Line by Line), Not ALV.

It is possible to include logo in classical report but its not possible to print logo in classical report. It can be done in ALV's.
Write the code in Top-of-page event in ALV.
The following is the code for inserting the logo in ALV.

The UTL_FILE_DIR parameter has been deprecated by oracle in favour of direcory objects because of it's security problems.
The correct thing to do is to create a directory object e.g.:
CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY mydir AS 'c:\myfiles';Note: This does not create the directory on the file system. You have to do that yourself and ensure that oracle has permission to read/write to that file system directory.
Then, grant permission to the users who require access e.g....
GRANT READ,WRITE ON DIRECTORY mydir TO myuser;Then use that directory object inside your FOPEN statement e.g.
fh := UTL_FILE.FOPEN('MYDIR', 'myfile.txt', 'r');Note: You MUST specify the directory object name in quotes and in UPPER case for this to work as it is a string that is referring to a database object name which will have been stored in uppercase by default. -
I am unable to print anything from an internet web page. I continually get "printer not activated, error code- 30" followed by "An unknown error occurred while printing". I can copy the material from the web page, place into a Word document and then print. This just started yesterday and I have no idea why. Would appreciate your advice!

When I try to print from web page I get a dialogue box "Printer not activated - error code 30" followed by a dialogue box "An unknown error occurred while printing". The printer works on websites when I use Internet Explorer. Also, if I copy the web page and paste it into a Word document, I can print a copy. This issue just started this week; I have not encountered this problem prior to this week. Please advise.

Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20
I have had my officejet 4215 all-in-one printer well over a year and it has connected and printed whatever I wanted. Yesterday when I wanted to print an email it would not and the following box popped up: Activation error: Printer not activated, error code 20. Then the next box that popped up said: Printer Error An unknown error occurred while printing.
If I copy the email over to a Microsoft Windows page, then i can print it fine.
Any idea how to fix this so I can print email's like I used to?

HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer (unable to add print driver hpfax1, error code 87)
Hi, my printer HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Mfp, suddenly didnt work so i remove the printer, and downloaded a new driver http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-LaserJet-Pro-M1536-Multifunction-Printer-series/3974271/model/3974278#Z7_3054ICK0KGTE30AQO5O3KA30R1 once dowloaded, i run it and uninstall the printer, restart my pc, and proceed to installing. but in the process of installing a error occurr, saying that "Unable to add printer, error code 87", and that " HP Toolbox FX has encountered an error and can not recover. once i click ok. it tells me to restart my pc and reinstall it again. i did it for 8x, and still with the same error. please help really need a help right now. as my boss is going to kill me

I understand that you're getting the error 'Unable to add print driver hpfax1, error code 87' when installing your HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer on your Windows 7 computer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this install issue. Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps that you have completed prior to reaching out for support. At this time I am going to walk you through some additional software and driver troubleshooting steps. Please follow all of the steps below. If you're using your HP Laserjet through a USB Cable connection, please disconnect that cable now. Step one: Remove Driver: 1. Click on your Start menu 2. Select Control Panel 3. Select Programs and Features 4. When Programs and Features opens a list of programs installed on your computer will populate. Click on the 'Installed ON' tab at the top to change the date so the recently installed items show at the top. This will make it easier to manually locate the three HP Laserjet items you need to uninstall. 5. Next, look for the HP LJ M1530 MFP Series HP Scan, HPLaserJetHelp_LearnCenter, and HP LaserJet Professional M1530 MFP Series. If you see any 3 of these, or all 3 of these items, please click on them and select Uninstall. Once you have confirmed that those three items have been uninstalled, please close Programs and Features and proceed to the next step. Step 2: Clear Temp Files: Click on your Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start after you click on it, type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Print spooler log error ID 808 [Internet Explorer 11 + MS Office 2003 x86 on Win7 sp1 x64 ONLY!]

Could you please help me to resovle the very much odd issue of HP Priner driver on Win7sp1x64 as below.
1.HP Deskjet 970Cse printer connected thru usb to a router and installed to all LAN PCs thru a standard tcp/ip ports works well (i.e. printing anyting w/o any problem) on 3 PCs - 2 of 3 with win7sp1x64; and 1 of 3 - win7sp1x86. All 3 with
IE11[11.0.9600.17041] recently(!) updated from IE8.
2. However BOTH (that is 2 of 3) above PCs of win7sp1x64 return errors to admin log every time when printing any web page from IE11 and/or docs from Office as below:
Error in short:
The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module C:\Windows\system32\spool\DRIVERS\x64\3\UNIDRVUI.DLL, error code 0xc1. See the event user data for context information.
This error in log occurs only if printing from IE11 and/or MS Office. None of other printing jobs are affected including a printing from Acrobat, ACDSee, Google Chrome and Opera. The printing of Test Page by printer
itself not affected as well!!!
3. win7sp1x86 PC prints everything w/o any errors in log!
4. Printer uninstall incl. cleaning of Print Server config + clean install doesn't work.

PS: I just wanna confirm that this odd error occurs only when printing from IE11 and MS Office 2003 on Win7sp1x64. MS Office 2007 is not affected!OK, Z COMPLETE SOLUTION FOUND!
Although z cause of this odd issue is yet unclear. However it seems to be z HP driver problem after all.
Actually my printer is not HP Deskjet 970Cse but HP Photosmart 1115 Series. Z very nice working dinosaur, which was officially run out by HP Support from WinXPx86 times. Though it was always working
just nice with either HP Deskjet (DJ) 970Cse Win7driver (better) or HP Photosmart (PS) 7200 Series one (worse – when it works no so good with TCP/IP printer installation).
Well… when I got into z recent problem with DJ970cse driver I happened to check if printer works with z PS7200 one. Oops, same not good as before but NO LOG ERROR! A bit of study gave me understanding
that both drivers are using z absolutely same core files but PS7200 driver uses its own PCL Language Monitor as well as z Print Processor (not a standard winprint of Windows).
And while I unfortunately got no any reasonable ideas on how to solve this issue from IT Pros and others MS MVP during a few days after my posting here and there, except those very smart ones
like ‘uninstall, reboot and install again’, I had no option other than to find solution by myself.
I’ve downloaded a bunch of HP printer models Win7x64 driver pack from MS Update Catalog "http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=hp%20deskjet%20970cse" (x86 also available.
This driver pack is for maybe over 400 HP printer models incl. both DJ970Cse & PS7200) and modded its genuine INF file for HardwareID of my PS1115 as HPPHOTOSMART_11150FFF with use of 970Cse driver but also some DLLs and PCL Language Monitor
of PS7200 one.
This modded by me INF file is attached as a Code Block. Pls be advised that all originally integrated printer devices strings except DJ970cse & PS7200 ones were deleted for convenience and
z 1 new combined string for PS1115 added. Then everybody interested can compare & track z changes done. This modded driver is now installed and working w/o any glitch on 2 of my Win7sp1x64 PCs. Although I’ve maybe spent totally a day or
so on all that fuss of posting about & studying around.
My final conclusion is z very much common one
– f**k HP… and/or MS as well, when it’s yet unknown why this error occurred after z years of no problem use of DJ970Cse driver but after Win7sp1 updating to IE11 and/or KB2775511 and only with x64 version
of OS.

UPDATE 2014-06-12-Thu: there is one more small glitch of printing to paper from IE11 only found! now it's about a Print Processor settings...
pls set not any hp oem print processor but z standard windows one aka 'winprint' to be used for printing in Printer properties > Advanced sub-menu, otherwise a printout is incorrect in part of a printed page header &
footer. a page print preview is ok but z printed header is incomplete = cut at right side, and no footer printed at all.
pls be advised that above note is valid for both modded & genuine driver installed and for both x86 & x64 win7...

I would like to assist you today with resolving the error message 'Printer Not Activated Error Code 20' that you're getting on your Windows 7 computer when using your HP Deskjet F2440 Printer.
To start troubleshooting can I please have you click here. When the support document opens please run through Step one, Step two, and Step three. When you get to Step three for reinstalling your driver, please click here to access the latest driver for your printer series. Once the website opens select the Download button on the top left.
Once troubleshooting is complete, please test your printer again.
