Printing selected check boxes

I am creating a form where a user can check up to 20 check boxes... How can a make it so only the SELECTED/CHECKED check boxes get printed. I think i can make a hidden subform where as the boxes are checked it populated the name of that box... then make that hidden sub field visible only at print. Can anyone give some guidance, thanks!

The code I had in my reply is generalized code can be used with any checkBox irrespective of name. No customizations required to get what you need. In the code "this" references the object that code is associated with hence you do not have to specify the name of the object. So use the same code over and over with each check box as indicated.

But it was in disable mode.

Hi Ravi,
Which system is it? R/3 Dev pr R/3 QUAL? If it is R/3 Dev then you can goto the TCode RSA6 select your data source and click on the pencil icon on the menu bar. It will ask for a Transport Request, you can give one and then it will take you to the change mode of the data source, there you can do the changes and generate the data source.
But if it is R/3 QUAL then you can't change it there straightaway. You have to first change it in R/3 DEV and collect these changes in a Transport Request and then transport it to R/3 QUAL.

Enable selection check boxes in CO-PA datasorce

I have an CO-PA datasource,
in datasource level some fields are not enabled ,it wont allow to select or reselect the options, that selection check box is automatically set 'M' version ,which means 'Must Required' ,now i want to change this 'M' to P flag ,
in BW i know that how to do ,in BI i don't know how to do that,
cause : while loading time in infopackage level which is asking KOKRS: controlling area Range ,and PERVI: fiscal period is asking,if u wont give this options it wont load the data
i dont want this restrictions in Data selection also ,plz help me

You can write a sample code in update rule to delete undesired currency type:
delete data_pakage where 0currtype = 'B0'.
Not sure on 0currtype name.

Very slight blue cast on epson r1900 when match print color check box is checked

Ok, so this problem has been bugging me for some time now and I know other people have it too, because I can see it some of the screen shots.
I am running CS3 and and epson r1900. Using the latest drivers, and latest ICM epson paper profiles downloaded again just yesterday. So what happen is when I go to print a photo, whenever I check the match print color box, the proof instantly assume a very light blue cast which prints on the paper as well.
Let me tell you what I know it is not.
1. It is not double color management- ICM is disabled on the epson print manager side
2. It is not a badly calibrate monitor, My spyder 2 is working just fine.
I am wondering if its some type of gamut compression inherint the the ICC profile, but if that were the case, if I converted my photo into the icc's color space, it just take on the blue cast, but it does not it. The blue cast appears only after the match printer colors check box is checked. Even if I add additional whitespace to the picture, that what space, which when you think about it, should just be paper white, get printed again with the light blue cast. In checking and unchecking that above mentioned box, I can see that other features within the photo are being affected or shifted as well. If I use a different icc profile, say, the Kodak Professional Paper profile or a red river paper profile, there is no Blue Cast period when the box is check or unchecked, so it seems to be something related to epson profiles, and Photoshop.
I have removed the printer and reinstalled with all the latested drivers available at epson website, as well as removed all my old epson paper iCC profiles and reinstalled them from that latest available from epson as well.
I can see on some epson printing tutorials avaiable on the web, this blue cast in the screen shots. Like here- http://www.gballard.net/psd/printing_epson_photoshop_cs3.html
compare the the preview print area , the the white in the in input box for print size and you can see there is a cast.
So is this normal?

ICC profiles include white point information. When you check the match print color box, Photoshop trys to show a quick soft proof of your image there in the print dialog. The blue cast is Photoshop trying to simulate the white point in the profile - which happens to be the shade of the paper. Some papers have more of a pronounced blue or yellow shade, and this shows up in the soft proof.
In reality you will not see nearly the level of shift on a print as you do in the Photoshop print dialog. That soft proof is not really super accurate.
To summarize it is indeed the paper ICC profile that is causing the effect. Different profiles will all show slightly different variations in the white point under these circumstances.

How to Save the multiple selection check box values into the database

i have the multiple selection check box implemented in UI through drop down list,i can choose the desired values from the drop down through checkbox, but i m unable to store these values and commit the values into the database all at a time.

You can access the values using listbinding and can then store them as a string by using a delimiter.

A set of check boxes in an Apex form produces "V1:V2:V3" in the target field, these are the key fields from a dynamic selection lists based on a table that contains the key and value fields. Does anyone have a sample SQL fragment that will produce a record for each one of the values ?
FORM_TABLE
ID (1)
CB_TARGET (V1:V2:V4)
LIST_TABLE
KEY_F (V1),(V2),(V3),(V4) etc.
VALUE_F (Value 1), (Value 2), (Value 3), (Value 4 ...)
Even though there is only a single row in this example in the "FORM_TABLE", how can this be transformed to :
1, V1
1, V2
1, V4

Does anyone have a sample SQL fragment that will produce a record for each one of the values ?Does it have to be SQL? The simplest approach is probably PL/SQL, using the <tt>apex_util.string_to_table</tt> function.
For a purely SQL-based solution, use whatever string-to-row technique is appropriate to your situation.

How to get the sum of selected check boxes?

I have created this simple form with several fields. Fields can be selected via a check-box and they have a price listed.
I would like to have the sum of each selected product, added in total.

Selecting (checking boxes) within Library in iTunes

Is there a quick way to select or deselect (checking boxes) within your library (or specific playlist) as a means to control the items that you want to move to the ipod? Usually in a similar environment, you have an option to select all of the boxes and check them or the reverse in an attempt to control selection.
Can anyone help? Apple(corp) suggested this support forum.

Make a selection by clicking on the first track and shift-clicking on the last one for consecutive tracks or command-click on ones that are non-contiguous (you can combine these techniques). Then control-click on the selection and choose "Check (Unselect) Selection".

Multiple Selection Check Box

Hi
I want to allow the user to select multiple items via a checkbox displayed as LOV.
I've managed to display all the LOV entries as check boxes just by selecting a LOV but it only stores one of the items I've selected in that LOV.
I need a checkbox system that stores data like a shuttle control, i.e. 1:2:4:9 etc
Is this possible without using Add-on JavaScript library's?

Avoid Printer selection Dialogue box when printing Crystal report in JAVA

Hi i am calling crystal report in my servlet using Report Client Document SDK, now i want to print the report directly to the default printer set without selecting the printer from the select printer dialogue box. In other words want to avoid the select printer dialogue box from appearing . Can any body suggest me how do i do this .

The ReportDocument class provides PrintToPrinter method that may be used to print a CR direct to the printer. If no printer is selected, the default printer will be used to send the printing pages to.
The PrintToPrinter method takes four parameters.
nCopies : Indicates the number of copies to print.
collated : Indicates whether to collate the pages.
startPageN : Indicates the first page to print.
endPageN : Indicates the last page to print.
The following steps will guide you to achieve the same:

Issue With select Check box in advance datagrid

       i am using advance datagrid having hierarichal data.There is one column having checkbox and one header renderer(CheckBox) on top giving functionality of select all.when i clicked on select all checkbox , all the checkboxes in that column not showing checked unless i collapse or expand the heirarichal data or scroll the advance data grid,similar is the case with unselect checkbox.however internally values are selected and unselected as per functionality but checkboxes are not show checked/unchecked in first go.i have tried following things to refersh the data but nothing worked.
refreshing the arrayCollection and then calling invalidateList() on the grid.
IHierarchicalCollectionView(adg.dataProvider).refresh();
so please guide me .

we have a field to bind the checkbox selected status, such as 'selected', when the data['selected'] = true means the checkbox is checked, otherwise is unchecked

Hello,
I'd like to know how a multiple selection checkbox can be created in report rows. In brief, I need to create a questionnaire template and each one of the questions will have multple options checkboxes, that means that the user can select more than one of the answers.
Should I use apex_item.checkbox ?. I have no clue here.
Please advice.
