Printing the value exactly in a pertticular position

Dear Friends,
In smart forms how can i print the value of a field in a exact desired position in a window.
For example if a value is printing like
Sales Tax :
500.00
I want it to print like
Sales Tax : 500.00
How to maintain space between Sales Tax : and 500 and how can i print the value in a exact position.

and In a text element of a window if i want to give ,, to maintain rab space i have to edit that text element right.
When i click on edit its giving change field pop up

Define the variable as the 'packed' type and then u can able to define the decimal point...

Here is my Scenario
I have a PL/SQL Package. Let us call it Baseline Package.
This Package includes a dynamically built merge Statement.
Execute Immediate v_merge_query.
I have a procedure which replaces which few Keywords from the Package Text and Creates a new one depending on Inputs I provide. (This is something like a Code generator)
Now while Creating the new package, I need to print the Value of v_merge_query.... I Need s Static Query to be Printed inside the new package and not a dynamic query.
My Question is "Is there a way to print the value of the variable inside a different PL/SQL package?

Print where?
That PL/SQL code is server-side code. It runs in an Oracle server process.
That server process does not have a keyboard. Or a screen/monitor. Or display canvas. Or an attached printer.
That server process is incapable of "printing" as that is not its job or responsibility and not part of its environment.
What is can do is record data for the client to look at afterwards. This can be done using static PL/SQL session variables. Or a SQL table.
The former is done by DBMS_OUTPUT - a very primitive interface for writing text into a static PL/SQL string array. That btw resides in expensive private process server memory. The client can query the array after a database call and render the contents.
PS. Also keep in mind that bind variables are critical for performance and server robustness - especially when (ab)using dynamic SQL.

Sap script: Printing the values got from work area in a row

how is your work are structure - is it only with single field ?
In your script after the each value give an extended line comman "=" which will take first and second values for print and after the second value give "line feed" or "carriage return" command.

When you are populating the value in perform instead of assigning the value (using = ) pass it using WRITE TO.
Like : WRITE lw_total TO output-value.
Declare lw_total as currency field.

How to print the value if a condition is satisfied

Please suggest me how to print a text as 'Do not print' when a field in the selection screen is entered.
If in the selection screen (s_field1) we have entered a value as ZESM then the value filed of

I have to print the material, description, quantity and value in the invoice.. the problem i face is.. the variables which is of size 40 characters. only prints the data and gets trimmed because of which the data displayed in the invoice not in order.
can any one tell me how to find the length of the variable or is there any way to protect the variable from getting trimmed.

Script- problem in printing the values in from internal table

I have a requiremnt that i for a particular document no there are number of invoices are there. i.e for a single document no there are 20 invoices in that. i shoudl display the invoice number , invoice date, invoice amount , number of days of intrest , start date of interest, end date of interest and intrest amount.
The problem is i should take the invoice number, invoice date, number of days from TABLE BSEG and inovice amount and start date, end date from table INTITIT. for a particular document number there are diffent invoce numbers in both the table.
i can display everthing but the prob is with invoice amount. it is repating only one values is displying in the ouput. The invoice number in INTITIT Is not changing. I have to write the syntax for that .Please help me The value in Bseg is chaing as per given syntax shown below.

'521' is the element name in the main window where i should display the values. before select qurey the values are coming in the bseg but not in table INTITIT. Belnr is the document no with ref to that
there are number of invoices nos. so in both the tables it is selecting single value and displaying but in bseg the invoice number is getting refreshed and new number is coming in that place i.e in field bseg-rebzg but in INTITIT in belnr only it is taking single value it is not getting refreshed.

How to write the syntax for INTITIT? As per invoice number it is giving new values.

THE VALUE OF IT_BESG-REBZG IS CHANGING BUT THE VALUE IN INTITIT-BELNR ( INVOICE NUMBER) IS NOT CHANGING THAT IS WHY IT IS SHOWING
ONLY SINGLE RECORD.
for both the table documet no is same. in besg-belnr is the document no. in intitit-BELNR_TO is the document no.
here in bseg-rebzg is chaning but in INTITIT-BELNR IS not changing.
If i take loop at INTITIT. ALL the values are repating so i am unable to take loop. so i want to write
a syntax such that intitit-belnr should be refreshed and also for every loop it shoud take new invoice no.
Please help me out it is very urgent.

assumption: some mistake in ur posting that, How belnr and date r same for both header records, so i guess, either one is different.
try with AT NEW - ENDAT.
AT NEW belnr.
here use looping, READing of ur itabs.---> so, u need to build couple of itabs to move forth and back.
ENDAT.
pls. note that, when u use this AT NEW all the CHAR fileds of itab wuld show as STARS **.....so, this is the necessity behind building new itabs.

Printing the value of variable in group footer which is assigned in detail

Hi there,
A global variable is initialized in group header using a formula. The same variable is assigned in detail section (counting the distinct record based on a condition) in another formula. When the same variable is accessed in the footer, it is not returning the value assigned in detail section. If the value assigning formula is called in the footer, it increments the value by 1 and displays.
Can any one help on this how to solve?

Can you copy and paste your formulas here?
There can be lots of factors affecting your result set. Such as the declaration scope of the variable and/or on which pass you are asking to store the value to the variable.

Adobe form not printing the values correctly...

I am developing a static hrform using adobe desingner. Below is my requirement :
EARNING..... | TAX......
ABSENCES..... | OTHER DED....
I have EARNING,ABSENCE section on left side and i moved this into a SUBFORM with content "FLOWED" direction "TOP TO BOTTOM".
On the right side, i have TAXES, OTHER DED and i moved this into a SUBFORM with content "FLOWED" direction "TOP TO BOTTOM".
These both sobform i have saved in my master subform with content "FLOWED" direction "Western Text".
This all worked fine till i have less contents in my EARNING section. If it have more line items (not fitting on one page) than it shows TAXES, OTHER DED on 2nd page right side.
My requirement is to print everything (left & right side) initially on first page and once this gets filled print the remianing on next pages.

IF the text has 11 rows and you can only print 8 rows in the
current page, THEN go to next page print all 11 rows at the fresh page.

Hi Maruthi,
In smartforms create a loop. And inside loop create a Folder. In "Output Options" tab of folder there is a check box "Page Protection". Select this check box.
The above option will work only in man windows. If created window is not not a main window then make it as main window from its General Attributs tab.

Is it possible to print a document exactly as it appears on the screen?

Like the topic question asks, is it possible to print a document exactly as it appears on the screen? I'm fairly new to indesign and I designed my company's manual recently, taking us away from doing so in Word. I fear I may have made a very amateurish mistake and am dreading having to go back and reposition everything. Some of the problem can be alleviated if I can find a way to print the document exactly as it appears on my monitor or when I export the file to PDF.
What's happening is the page numbering and other items I set up outside of the bleed area (I think that's what it's called...the red box that appears in each document) are refusing to print properly. I want the entire right hand corner of the page to be taken up. Currently, only part of the image is printing. If I choose "scale to fit", then the entire image prints, but it doesn't take up the entire right hand corner. Instead, the graphich repositions itself about an inch away from the edge and bottom of the document.
Failing that, is there a blanket way to scale all items in indesign?

In regards to the other question I asked though, is it possible to scale all the items on a page by a set amount? Say for instance I have the font too large on all of the pages in the document and the images are also a little oversized, is ther some way I can scale all of the images down a certain percentage without having to go into each item individually?
Well, kinda. If you select everything on your page at once (or if they're already grouped) then you can hold down Control, Shift, and Alt while grabbing a corner to resize and it'll maintain all of the ratios, including scaling the font size. You'd only be able to scale one page or spread at a time, but you could do it that way. Alternately, you can place your InDesign document into another InDesign document, where the source InDesign doc will be displayed as an image in the target doc. So, you could scale each page just like an image.
However, I'm reluctant to advise that you do that - mostly because I don't understand what you're doing. In my understanding, everything outside of the crop marks is literally going to wiind up on the cutting room floor, so the fact that you have content like page numbers in your bleed makes no sense to me. Is it intended for the press operator who's going to be doing the cutting? We can answer your questions, but honestly I think you should describe what you're trying to achieve in the end with a bit more detail, otherwise the forums regulars will answer your questions at face value and maybe help you, or maybe just help you dig a deeper hole for yourself without realizing it.

Problem in printing the JTable values

I'm using jtableObj.print to print the table values. But jtableObj.print takes more time to print the table values because it prints the values as a image(approximately 5 mins to print 10 pages).
