• Problem with SAVE_TEXT Usage

Hi,
I'm starting a new thread because this is a different issue than my original problem.
I am using our BW system to save texts. Calls to the function return with sy-subrc=0. However, no data is added to STXH and STXL.
We have never before saved texts to the TDOBJECT that I'm trying to save to now.
I have used txn SM75 to create the TDOBJECT and IDs.
Is there something that I need to set up before I can use the object and texts?
Thank you.

Fong,
I am not sure if the transaction SM75 is the right one, I could not find that in my system. Usually you create texts using SO10 transaction.After using SAVE_TEXT if you commit the same, usually the text is saved.
While retrieving using READ_TEXT you will have to pass the same objects used while saving.

Ravi

• Problem with SAVE_TEXT FM

Hello,
I am having a problem with using the SAVE_TEXT FM.
Here is the scenario.
I am trying to populate the Long Text on a PM work order component line for a reservation.
Prior to populating this field, no text will exist in this field.
I create the name key using the following:
sy-mandt + resb-rsnum + resb-rspos + resb-rsart
The object id AUFK and the ID is MATK.
INSERT =  X
SAVEMODE_DIRECT =  X
OWNER_SPECIFIED = space
LOCAL_CAT  = space
When I call the FM I get a return code of 0 and when I do a READ_TEXT FM using this key I can see that the text exists in table STXH.
However, when I go to view the long text for the reservation component in IW32 there is no text there.
If I now manually add text to the long text and save, if I now run the SAVE_TEXT FM with the same key, the FM overwrites the value of the text which was manually entered with the value from the FM.
So, does anyone know why the FM writes an entry to STXH which isn't visible in IW32 prior to manually adding text, but is visible after manually adding text?
Has anyone experienced this problem before?
I would appreciate any help anyone could give me.
thanks,
Kevin

Sorry table was RESB, but answer is correct anyway,
field is RESB-LTXSP.

• I am having a probelem with one website saying it is unsecure and untrusted.Other people are not getting same message.I have tried everything.

Hi there.
I am having constant problems when trying to connect to www.pretty green.com.When going to check out it is telling me that the site is unsognes,unsecure and doesn't use encryption.Other people are not seeing this message.
I have tried everything from reinstalling firefox to disabling ad ons etc.
The website also say it is secure.
Why will firefox not let me connect to it and why could it be showing as unsecure?
Than you.

Thank you for the updates. Since the server seems to be set up correctly, the '''sec_error_unknown_issuer''' could indicate that your connection to the server is being intercepted.
One common reason for this is that you use software like avast! 2015, Kaspersky, ESET, or BitDefender that has a feature of scanning your web traffic for threats. Firefox might not be set up to work with that software. If this is the case, when you view the site's certificate in the Add Exception dialog or in another browser, it usually will say it was issued by your security software provider.
Another possible reason is a hijacked connection or malware.
To try to sort this out, on the error page, do you see a section at the bottom which says "I understand the risks" with an Add Exception button? If so, click Add Exception and then click "View" to view the certificate. You don't need to actually add an exception, it's better that you don't, but this is a way to see the certificate.
If you check the "Issued by" section, what do you see there? I have attached what I see in Firefox 37 for comparison. Also, does the certificate path (chain of trust) on the Details tab look like the attached?
If you can't use Add Exception for this, you can click the padlock in the address bar in a different browser and use its certificate viewer.

Hello,
I have a problem with dreamweaver cs4. My dreamweaver is installed on windows 7. I did not had this problem before in windows xp.
It is on the lowest screen (page) propperties (dreamweaver is in clasic mode)
When ik point at HTML then I can not see all the items. This is also the same for CSS.
-HTML - FORMAT - CLASS by the title I can only see 3mm. The rest is not shown.
On the next line by CSS - ID - LINK its the same. I can only see 3 mm of Target.
The wierd thing is that when I click with my mouse at a image the page propperties are shown good. Then their is nothing wrong with it. I can see everything. I hope someone can help me. I have posted a picture of the problem so you see inmeadiatly what I mean.
Thanks in advanced.

• Probelems with MDB listening to MQ (Startup class issue )

Hello ,
I am supposed to write a Message driven bean that would reside on
Weblogic7.0 and listen to a particular queue of IBM MQ.
I understand that we need to write a Start-up class for this. I have
written the start-up class but I am getting the following error:
<Apr 16, 2003 3:17:14 PM EDT> <Warning> <EJB> <010061> <The
Message-Driven EJB: SimpleMDB is unable
to connect to the JMS destination: ivtQ. The EJB container will
automatically attempt to re-establis
h the connection with the JMS server. This warning may occur during
WebLogic Cluster start-up if the
JMS destination is located on another server. When the JMS server
connection is re-established, the
Message-Driven EJB will again receive JMS messages.
The Error was:

Please ensure that the JNDI name in
the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml is correct, and the JMS destination has been
deployed.>
I understand that there are some configuration issues:
Can you please guide where am I going wrong:
1. What should be the value of the <destination-jndi-name> in the
Weblogic-ejb-jar. I have not passed any Queue name through the
start-up class …Is it ok?
2. Then what queue name should I specify. (ofcousrse it should be the
MQ queue name but do I need to add that in the JNDI or in the
weblogic console…?
3. Please confirm that the <connection-factory-jndi-name> mentioned in
the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml should be the same as what I am passing as
JNDIName (through weblogic console).
4. Kindly advice if I am missing anything (especially in my start-ip
class)

• Problem with save_text

Hi all,
when I drop PR to PO in ME21N, the text of PR needs to be displayed in PO header text.
Im reading the text of PR, using READ_TEXT.
and I have used SAVE_TEXT to populate the header text of PO.
The problem is the text is not displaying on the header text.
But, when I double click the header text, it takes me to change editor,after coming back from change editor the text is displaying.
Pls let me know what would be the problem.

• Probelem with passing parameters to function module

hey i am facing a problem to pass the parameters to function module.let me explain.. we cant pass the parameters which we are using in the select option statements directly to a function module called...i just wanna know if there is any way so that i can pass those values to a fnc module while passing it from select options

Hi,
You have to create a table type in SE11..
Check this sample table type PDSMAINT_MATNR_RNG_T...
Then use that table type in the importing parameter of FM..
PT_MATNR TYPE PDSMAINT_MATNR_RNG_T..
For which field you have created select-options..I will check if there is any existing table type in se11..
Thanks,

• OTC . How is freight calculated in OM header level

Hi
We have this business scenario where Freight is calculated at order header.
But we were checking the API for that
WSH_INTERFACE_GRP.Create_Update_Freight_Costs
This is done at Delivery or Delivery detail level.
So CANT we have freight costs at order header level???
Basically i have say 3 labels created for an order i need to generate freight for these 3 labels. Please not 3 labels DOES NOT correspond to 3 lines.
So can i create Freight lines for these 3 labels for that order header Id.
And also another question is for RETURN orders we wont have any deliveries then how are freight cost calculated

in this case budgetplan data uploading sucessfully but longtext is not uploading,
i debbug the proragm , create_text also returning sy-subrc = 0. but if i check in KP06 the long text is not there.

• A problem with a Materialized View

Hi,
I have a ordinary table with a three column compound primary key (COL_Id, COL_ValidFrom, COL_CaseId)
I also have a MV that selects from that table. This one compiles just fine. It looks like this:
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW "MV_02"
REFRESH FORCE ON COMMIT
AS SELECT COL_Id, COL_ValidFrom, MAX(COL_CaseId) CaseId FROM TBL_MediaText GROUP BY COL_Id, COL_ValidFrom;
Works fine. Now I'm trying to create a second MV that selects from the first MV. It looks like this:
CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW "MV_03"
REFRESH FORCE ON COMMIT
AS
SELECT a.COL_Id, a.CaseId, a.COL_ValidFrom, NVL(MIN(b.COL_ValidFrom)-1, TO_DATE('2099-12-31','yyyy-mm-dd')) ValidTo
FROM MV_02 a, MV_02 b
WHERE a.COL_Id=b.COL_Id(+) AND a.COL_ValidFrom < b.COL_ValidFrom(+)
GROUP BY a.COL_Id, a.CaseId, a.COL_ValidFrom;
This one does not parse. (ORA-12054) There seem to be a probelem with the ON COMMIT command. I have searched the web and found some info on the subject. It tells me to create a MV log, wich I have. I've also tried to put count(*) and count(b.COL_validfrom). But it just wont work.
I see a possibilty of yhe problem laying in te fact that I join using two parts of my PK. Also there might be a problem with the fact that i can't create a log for MV_02 WITH PRIMARY KEY. Or maybe you can't have a MV selecting from another MV?
Do anyone know how i should specify my Logs and/or querys in order for this to parse?
I'm using 10.1, and I do have the ON REFRESH COMMIT-privilege.
Thanks!

• Problem in populating PO item text using FM:SAVE_TEXT

Hi All,
I am having an issue with SAVE_TEXT FM,
I need to populate the item text field:
This FM works fine if the Item text field is blank and i am populating it with text, say "This is a test case",
How ever if the text field is already populated say the item text field has "Testing", my requirement is i will append the new text to the previously existing, in this case it should come as "Testing This is a test case",
For doing this i am reading the existing text using READ_TEXT FM and concatenating both the texts separated by space, and passing this to i_lines, how ever the O/P which i get in the text field is "Testing".
Please advice.
The cod is shown below:
CALL FUNCTION 'SAVE_TEXT'
EXPORTING
CLIENT                = SY-MANDT
header                = t_head
insert                = 'X'
savemode_direct       = 'X'
OWNER_SPECIFIED       = ' '
LOCAL_CAT             = ' '
IMPORTING
FUNCTION              =
NEWHEADER             =
TABLES
lines                 = i_lines
EXCEPTIONS
id                    = 1
language              = 2
name                  = 3
object                = 4
OTHERS                = 5.

hi,
once u use the save_text also
with save_text u are updating the STXH table .
there is one field in stxh table which is once updated shows the text in the sceen.
or u can run a bdc put the default text where u want to put and afterwards when u use create_text and commit_text,u ll be able to see the text in the screen.

• How to upload images to Facebook from PSE

I am forced to go to Revel and pay more for having gone over my backup limit. A scam!
Then, I notice that all the edits I make to MY pictures are not reflected in the pics in "My Pictures" on the hard drive. I have used Adobe products for years. This sucks!
I had planned to upload a bunch of pics to a Facebook album this evening, and find I can not. Looks like Photoshop has been rendered incapable of performing its key function.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

I will attempt to export the "current version"...tho Photoshop is so non-intuitive that I would have appreciated an explanation of how to do this.
Facebook workflow?
So...you do not know how albums are created on Facebook ...and you call yourself a photo editing company. Basically you highlight the photos you want uploaded in My Pictures and they are uploaded to Facebook en masse.
All I am trying to do with Photoshop elements is to edit the photos on my hard drive before uploading them. I do not want or need "cloud backup". I do not want or need to pay you more $ for the privilege. There are a lot of editing fish in the sea. So unless I get a real explanation of that is going on...I will switch to Picassa or some other.
Sad...because photoshop is a very powerful editing tool . I think you must have too many software engineers employed making changes willy nilly...forgeting what the product is designed to do.
At the very least there should be an "old school" button to go back to the tried and true...tho I must say, I have had probelems with the old version as well. It no longer recognises photos that have already been uploaded resulting in multiple copies being saved. A waste.
