Problem adapter JDBC/Receiver

Hello,
I am running a stored procedure with CC JDBC/Receiver, and it returned me the following error:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'sp_consulta_carteira_clientes' (structure 'Statement'): java.sql.SQLException: The 'CREATE TABLE' command is not allowed within a multi-statement transaction in the 'tempdb' database.
Can anyone help me, CC JDBC / Receiver, does not support transactional multi processing ?
Thank you all.
Marlon

Hi Marlon.
Try to change The Transaction Level in the Communication Channel JDBC, maybe it works.
Ask to Legacy Team can change the stored procedure without CREATE TABLE command.

  • Problem in JDBC receiver Updation

    Hi friends,
        I am updating the DB using the JDBC receiver adapter.
    Tell me for the following case updation can be done or not.
      key Field       Field1       Field2
          A                  X           Y
          B                  X
          C                  X           Y
    Consider above is the datas cmng to receiver JDBC to update the database. But here the record B has the field2 as empty in this case i should not update the record b with the field2 only field1 updation should takes place. Bcoz if i update the field2 with empty value the existing value may get deleted, hence only the field1 should be updated. Please tell me how to handle this.
    Do i need to hae 2 diff update stmt for this. Revert back for any quries.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    In JDBC receiver adapter, there is a setting in Processing tab which talks abt empty string values and how it needs to be handled.
    Interpretation of Empty String values:
    There are two options keeping it as Null value and Empty string.
    One of these option will solve ur requireement.
    Am not sure which option, do check with both.

    Can anybody tell me if my structre is OK ?
    Kind regards,
    Inigo.

    Hi,
    Your structure is correct.
    Try inserting same data using Insert statement manually in database. you jsut need to find the field which is creating this problem.
    You can get this type of error when you try to insert string into integer field, length is longer, format of date does not match in any of the column of table.
    This error is merely due to wrong input.
    Just check the format of;

    <FECH_ALTA>1927-11-10 00:00:00.0</FECH_ALTA>

  • Unicode issue jdbc receiver adapter

    Hi guys,
    I'm facing an unicode issue while trying to put some data into a MS database.
    The sender system is a SAP ERP 6.0 system.
    When we are trying to transfer some text in polish or korean or something else, this textes are not transferred correctly.
    I already checked the SAP Note 831162 FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0 / PI 7.1 JDBC Adapter
    and used the url parameter sendStringParametersAsUnicode=true
    Furthermore I changed my mapping to get the sql statements, so that I add the attribute hasQuot="no"
    and a leading N in front of the data string as described in the Note and in some threads in SDN
    Unicode problem in JDBC receiver adapter
    JDBC adapter , problem in inserting Korean Charaters in MS SQL
    but nothing solved my problem.
    any ideas?
    Do all the languages have to be installed on the XI system?
    Kind regards

    Hi Sarvesh,
    thanks for helping.
    Unfortunately I´m not sure what I should exactly do.
    If I get you wright I have to test the mapping using the test functionality in message mapping (test tab).
    I did this already
    The result message looks like this

    please specify clearly.
    this message will be send to the jbdc adapter and this will insert it to database.
    <ns0:ATBEZ hasQuot="no">N&apos;D?ugo?? ca?kowita Tl; L:&apos;</ns0:ATBEZ>
    will end up in a table entry like D?ugo?? ca?kowita Tl; L:
    has anybody an idea how I will get the wright characters in database, when I test my UDF in eclipse, the variable during debugging has the correct text.
    When output this variable via system.ou.print(text); the same issue occurs, the special characters are shown as ?.
    I appreciate for your help, unfortunately my polish colleagues hustle a little bit.

  • JDBC(Sender)-XI-RFC (Request) RFC (Response)-XI-JDBC(Receiver)

    Hi All,
    JDBC(Sender)-XI-RFC (Request)
    RFC (Response)-XI-JDBC(Receiver).
    Need some solution for sending email for successfully completion of scenario after updating SQL DB Table.
    Let me explain the scenario:
    We are pooling the SQL DB table to pull the records and map the records to RFC request parameters, after successful Posting the entries in R3 HR, RFC response contain the same with E (Error) S (Success) records status, we are updating the same in SQL DB table, I implemented the complete scenario without BPM with the help of module processor in Sending JDBC Adapter, scenario is working fine but now we have to send the successful mail to our support team with status contain Number of success, Error and total records as email.
    I need the solution how to implement the same requirement in current scenario.
    Is their way to do something with the RFC receiver adapter module addition to send the successful mail or generating Alert with all the description?
    I am at PI 7.0 SP12 with HP unix box.
    Thanks in Advance for creative idea
    With Regards
    Sunil

    Hi Bhavesh,
    Thanks for your help and your blog is really helpful. I implemented the UDF for generating Email Alert but this alert is generating before Updating the SQL Database, is their any way to generate alert after updating the SQL.
    Actually in my scenario we are sending the data from SQL to R3 by RFC and again updating the SQL status whatever the RFC return, after successfully updating SQL we need to send success email to support people but if we are sending the email before updating the DB then their will be problem.
    JDBC receiver after updating the SQL DB returns the response with No. of row updated but how to capture this response, if we can capture this response then we can send email through email adapter even their is one more problem, In my scenario I am counting the number of rows with status “S” and “E” and sending the same in alert email but if are sending email after updating the SQL DB where can hold the row count value and use it while sending the email.
    Implemented the scenario without using BPM..i am using sender JDBC module processor for Syn-Asyn bridge.
    Even I do not find the link to reward point. Please let me know how to do it.
    With Regards
    Sunil

  • Oracle JDBC Receiver

    Hi XI Guru,
    I have problem in JDBC Receiver. My error is
    " Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'ps_gl_active_acct_' (structure 'Statement'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01843: not a valid month  "
    Currently I am using TransformDate function in graphical mapping.
    Source Format : yyyy-mm-dd    Type xsd:date
    Target format : dd/mm/yyyy.      Type xsd:date
                          I have tried mm/dd/yyyy
    Please give me some advise and tips to solve my problem.
    Regards,

    use this function
    TO_DATE('<originalDate>','YYYY/MM/DD') :  You have to form this string using the concate function in the graphical mapping.
    Use the above function in graphical mapping to map the exact date in ORACLE.
    You will have to use 'hasquot' attribute and set it to "NO" of the Date field. It will be solved then..

    Rahul,
    > In this case i believe the interface has to be synch.
    > So what will the response message type be like..
    Not necessary. UPDATE can be asynch as well.
    Can you turn the trace on like pointed by Michal and then you can see the Query in the Audit Log of the adapter montioring. Try to execute the same query from your DB Client like TOAD and see what is the Syntax error you are getiing.!
    The problem looks like some field has some dataype / column name mismatch.

  • JDBC Receiver Adapter -- Synch Select. ERROR

    Hello,
    We have implemented the scenario described by Bhavesh Kantilal in blog 3928:
    JDBC Receiver Adapter -- Synchronous Select – Step by Step
    /people/bhavesh.kantilal/blog/2006/07/03/jdbc-receiver-adapter--synchronous-select-150-step-by-step
    but modified to our requirements.
    An Idoc is coming in, mapped to a sync receiver jdbc as described to collect data from a jdbc table.
    Result when connecting the oracle database with the jdbc receiver adapter:
    Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'T_ST_MAINDRIVER' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    Oh, like to complete the information by the payload from the jdbc rec. connect:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID xmlns:ns0="http://www.xxx.org/excel">
    - <STATEMENT>

      </KEY>
      </TABLENAME>
      </STATEMENT>
      </ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID>
    The table exists on the database. So, what is our mistake? Do you have any ideas?

    Hi Anil,
    I am back on my JDBC problem and I am one step further!
    Thank you for this hint. Looks like this is the solution.
    So I like to add my next question !
    My new error is resulting from my query command.
    I have set "=" to find a specific entry as compare operation.
    Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'IRIS.T_ST_MAINDRIVER' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: FATAL ERROR document format in structure 'TABLENAME': unexpected value '=' for attribute 'compare' found
    Looks like this is not ok .
    This is my xml of this query:
    <ns0:MT_JDBC_LOOPUP_ID xmlns:ns0="http://www.xxx.org/excel">
       <STATEMENT>
          <TABLENAME ACTION="SELECT">

    Can you, or anybody else, give the helping idea?

  • JDBC Receiver Adapter Error

    Hi All,
    I am executing SP by using JDBC Receiver Adapter.
    My strcture is follows
    <STATEMENT2>
    <SP_CREATE_T_BATCH action="EXECUTE">
    <spName type="VARCHAR">SP_CREATE_T_BATCH</spName>
    <IN_Control_Recipe hasQuot="No" type="Integer">100000000001723850</IN_Control_Recipe>
    </SP_CREATE_T_BATCH>
    </STATEMENT2>
    The below error I am getting
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'SP_CREATE_T_BATCH' (structure 'STATEMENT2'): java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "100000000001723850"
    Any help on this

    Hi Ram,
    Since you mentioned that your SP has one input parameter and one output parameter, the structure of the XML message at the JDBC receiver side should be:
    <STATEMENT2>
    <SP_CREATE_T_BATCH action="EXECUTE">
    <IN_Control_Recipe isInput="true" hasQuot="No" type="BIGINT">100000000001723850</IN_Control_Recipe>
    <Output_Parameter isOutput="true" type="SQLDataType"></Output_Parameter>
    </SP_CREATE_T_BATCH>
    </STATEMENT2>
    Here, i have assumed the following:
    SP_CREATE_T_BATCH   - The name of the Stored Procedure to be executed
    IN_Control_Recipe - Input parameter of the SP and its SQLDataType is BIGINT as suggested by Stefan.
    Output_Parameter - Output parameter of the SP. You may enter the SQL data type as per the output of your Stored Procedure.
    The following SQL data types are supported:
    INTEGER, BIT, TINYINT, SMALLINT, BIGINT, FLOAT, REAL, DOUBLE, NUMERIC, DECIMAL, CHAR, VARCHAR, STRING, LONGVARCHAR, DATE, TIME, TIMESTAMP, BINARY, VARBINARY, LONGVARBINARY, BLOB (input and output),CLOB (input and output), CURSOR (output; only in conjunction with the Oracle JDBC driver).
    Hope this will surely solve your problem.
    Regards, Gaurav.

  • JDBC receiver adapter to call MS SQLServer stored procedure with parameters

    We are trying to use the JDBC receiver adapter to call a stored procedure in MS SQLServer with parameters.  According to the help documentation for the JDBC receiver adapter for action=EXECUTE,  "The elements within the stored procedure are interpreted as parameters" and "The parameter names must be identical to those of the stored procedure definition".  The parameters within a MS SQLServer stored procedure are required to begin with the '@' symbol.  The element names within a XML document i.e. used to call the stored procedure can not contain a special character such as '@' in the first position.  For all of the tests we have done where the parameter name in the XML document omits the '@' character, the parameters are not being received by the stored procedure.  Is there a way around this  problem?
    Thank you,
    Harold

    Hello Harold - I am facing the EXACTLY SAME problem.Pls let me know how did you fix this problem ?
    This is the message I am passing on to the DB SP:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <MRIRequestInbound>
       <StatementName>
          <prc_FC_InsertStagingJournalEntries action="EXECUTE"/>
          <JournalData isInput="true" type="STRING">
    <NewDataSet><Table ITEM = "" ENTITYID = "" PERIOD = "" ACCTNUM = "" DEPARTMENT = "" JOBCODE = "" AMT = "" REF = "" DESCRPN = "" ENTRDATE = "" BASIS = " " BALFOR = "N" REQUESTNUM = "" ACCTNAME = "" TYPE = "" DESCRPTN = "" GDEP_DESCRPN = "" GJOB_DESCRPTN = "" JOBTYPE = ""  /></NewDataSet>
    </JournalData>
       </StatementName>
    </MRIRequestInbound>
    Out of which,
    <NewDataSet> tag contains the value of the parameter in the SP. So, my value to the SP's parameter is :
    <NewDataSet><Table ITEM = "" ENTITYID = "" PERIOD = "" ACCTNUM = "" DEPARTMENT = "" JOBCODE = "" AMT = "" REF = "" DESCRPN = "" ENTRDATE = "" BASIS = " " BALFOR = "N" REQUESTNUM = "" ACCTNAME = "" TYPE = "" DESCRPTN = "" GDEP_DESCRPN = "" GJOB_DESCRPTN = "" JOBTYPE = ""  /></NewDataSet>
    Any clue ?
    Cheers,

    Regards,

    HI Cuong,
    It seems something wrong with the installation of JDBC driver or in the config parameters for Adapter.
    Not sure if driver is case sensitive.
    But from the log it shows "oracle.jdbc.driver.Oracledriver".
    Try putting "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver".

  • Problem between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver

    Hi,
    I have a asynchronous scenary between SOAP Sender and JDBC Receiver.
    The idea is sending an ID for updating one register.
    Table structure is:
    TABLE AS_PERSONA
        (P_RUT                         VARCHAR2(10) NOT NULL,
        P_NOMBRE                       VARCHAR2(50),
        P_APELLIDO                     VARCHAR2(50))
    The ID is the P_RUT field.
    The structure of message that I send by SOAP, is the following:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
              <m:MT_CONS_SOAP xmlns:m="urn:prueba:voliva">
                   <CONSULTA>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </CONSULTA>
              </m:MT_CONS_SOAP>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    The JDBC receiver structure is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA xmlns:ns0="urn:prueba:voliva">
         <Statement>
              <AS_PERSONA action="UPDATE">
                   <table>AS_PERSONA</table>
                   <access>
                        <P_NOMBRE>DELETE_BY_XI</P_NOMBRE>
                        <P_APELLIDO>DELETE_BY_XI</P_APELLIDO>
                   </access>
                   <key>
                        <P_RUT>15445</P_RUT>
                   </key>
              </AS_PERSONA>
         </Statement>
    </ns0:MT_CONS_PERSONA>
    When I do a call to SOAP by XMLspy, it returns a message without data, that means succesfull reply.
    I see message monitor and see the succesfull flag. But in the database it doesn't update the register.
    This scenario was proved using the File Sender and same JDBC Receiver, then result was succesfull.
    I proved SOAP Sender with a File Receiver, storing information from SOAP sender in an archive, and works well.
    Then I imagine that exist some problem between SOAP and JDBC. what could be happening ?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Looks like the problem is with the JDBC receiver...try updating the value in the table by using a File-JDBC scenario..does it work..check the adapter monitor in RWB..

  • Junk character being sent by Jdbc Receiver adapter

    Hi all,
    I am using jdbc receiver adapter it s working fine .However for costumer name it is sending some junk character in last like " SMAN-Abdulrahman Osman¿ " the thing is that all other field is getting populated properly. when I am viewing the data in sxmb_monni .I am finding the data is prpoer but when it is getting posted to staging table then junk character is coming .I am coused whether it is mistake of JDBC adapter or something wrong in the staging table.
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi Vijay
    But for JDBC adapter where I will use the encoding...It is IDoc to Jdbc scenario.So I haave already used the encoding option in RFC destination.Now where to define the encoding in jdbc adapter I am not sure.
    One more thing I had used the encoding in RFC to read arabic charachter now its reading arabic charchter currectly but when the name is coming in english then it is getting appended by ¿. for example SMAN Saleh Ahmed Mustafa¿
    surprisengly in other column if value is coming in english also it is coming properly. could it be a problem in staging table itself. i am pitting one row below.

    I am facing some problem when i am trying to configure a scenario in the receiver side of JDBC adpater.
    We have never got stored procedures to work as messages go in 'Delivering'   status always. It's as if control never gets back to the adapter engine after the stored procedure call is made by the JDBC adapter. Then I went to checkt in the IE where the message has successfuly sent. Then I went to check
    in AE where the message is in "Delivering" state for long time.
    So checked the Default trace File and Thread dumps.
    In Thread dumps, i found a strange thing like one thread is hanging on condition wait at the below location :
      at java/lang/StringCoding.getEncoder(StringCoding.java:331(Compiled Code))
      at java/lang/StringCoding.encode(StringCoding.java:472(Compiled Code))
      at java/lang/String.getBytes(String.java:651(Compiled Code))
      at com/sap/aii/adapter/jdbc/SAXHandler.constructResponseStream(xml2sql.java:841(Compiled Code))
      at com/sap/aii/adapter/jdbc/SAXHandler.SQLcallStmt(xml2sql.java:988)
    Can you please help me in solving this issue as it is very critical to me ?
    Thanks,
    Prakash.

    Dear Prakash,
       There are number of reasons for SAX error. May be structure is not well defined, statement is not written correctly. These following links help you to solve your issue.
         SQL Queries(JDBC sendor CC)
         Oracle DB - XI - SQL DB
         JDBC Scenerio.
    Regards,
    JP.
