Problem clearing a task

Hello,
Thanks to a few of the members here, I am able to control the opening and closing of two digital water nozzles with DAQ hardware timing.
The way the application works is basically a 2-D array of boolean values is created based on the desired period and high time.  The nozzle will open when the boolean value is true while it closes when the boolean value is false.
The only problem remain is that if the application stops when the last boolean value is "true", the water nozzle will remain open indefinitely.  I believe that I am not using "clear Task" correctly.  This is the most obvious when i set the high time = period so that the duty cycle is 100%. this way the array contain only "true" values.  No matter how i stop the application, the nozzles won't turn off.
I have attached the application here and let me know if there are something wrong with the way I am ending the tasks.
I tried to keep this brief so if there are something I'm missing please ask.
Thank you very much

With outputs, they will always retain the last value sent to them.  Clearing the task does not reset them.
What you will need to do is write a set of all Falses to the task before you clear the task and end the program.
By the way, your use of the select function does nothing.  (If true select true, if false select false).  You can use the wire as is and eliminate the Select function and the true and false constants.

  • Why does it take so long to clear a task (with DMA transfer) using the PXI bus?

I am migrating a system which used to use a PCI-6133 (8 channel simultaneous AI) and PCI-6733 (8 channel AO) to one that uses a PXI-6133 and PXI-6733 mounted in a PXI-1033 chassis.
In general, things seem to work (synchronized AI/AO running near the maximum rate on both devices), with the one exception that clearing an AO task on the PXI-6733 takes forever (on the order of 20-30 seconds).
Even when I try the sinewave generation for the PXI-6733 in the MAX test panel it takes the same amount of time to stop the task. If I switch to using interrupts as the transfer mechanism, it stops immediately.
I tried using the interrupt transfer mechanism on my more demanding set of synchronized tasks, but that does not produce the right behavior (even though it does not give any errors).
Is there any trick (or better diagnostic) to help get my tasks working with DMA under PXI that used to work fine on PCI?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Patrick,
I'm using a PCIe-8361 controller. The computer is a Dell T5500 workstation running Windows 7 x64. I see the problem every single time I try to clear a task running on the PXI-6733, including my example using the Measurement & Automation test panel (from the very first time I try the Sinewave Generation onward). I can try other parameters in the test panel, but I don't need to adjust anything from the defaults (e.g., Rate = 1000) to get the behavior. I will also try installing the PXI chassis in a few other computers we have here just to confirm that it's not computer specific. From your line of questions I can at least gather that there's nothing obvious (like a known bug with the PXI-6733) and that I should expect this configuration to work.
Thanks for your help and I'll post any other findings I obtain.

  • Problem with complete task via email

    Hello,
I have problem with complete task via email. I found this blog very useful (http://blogs.adobe.com/ADEP/2010/11/how-to-complete-a-task-via-email-using-reply-to-comple te.html), but...
I set up everything as it’s written in blog mentioned above. When a task is assigned to me, I received an email notification with actions (accept, deny). After that I replied with action “accept”. Then I received email with subject “Errors from LiveCycle ES”:

Hi Diana, thanks for your reply.
You're probably right about 2 different error messages.
To the 1st one: I'm sure that status task is Assigned (to me). I received an email and I also reply on that email.
To error log: I found out that error log appears when I enable email endpoint on Complete Task service. But I managed to solve this problem. I set wrong user. Now I have here the same user as is written in login-config.xml so log seems to be ok.
So I created new task and tried to complete it via email. Now I receive email with another error:

  • Problem with remove task from schedule in PWA

In our environment problem with remove task from schedule by PWA.
Problem is only when I want to remove few task in the same time, but the operation one by one is correct.
In my opinion problem is with calculation schedule after remove tasks, column ID include wrong value it means that Number ID does not generate in the correct order same of numer
disappear. Click Calculate button on ribbon causes problem with finshed operation and save project.
Problem occurs only machine with IE 11.0 browser without compability mode, on other machine for example on the same project with IE 8,9,10 everything is correct.
Problem appeared recently, earlier everything was OK.
    Txn, Dariusz Moczyński

    Hi Darius,
I'm a bit confused. You are now talking about 2 issues.
For the first one, you cannot edit anymore tasks in PWA, with any browser versions? Is it happenonog for any users on any projects? Try the following solutions publish the project from Project Pro and see if it helps. Press CTRL F5 to delete IE cache. Ensure
that your PWA URL is added to the trusted site and/or compatibility sites. Check for the ULS logs or javascript errors.
For the second issue, please refer to my previous reply, this obviously cannot be considered as a bug since it is happening with a non supported browser version and working properly on supported versions of IE.
    Hope this helps,

  • I still have a problem clearing history and i did select time range to Everything

I still have a problem clearing history and i did select time range to "Everything". I tested using Internet explorer and I could clear the history there so its not a problem with the Xp secondary account. I even disabled the add ons in firefox and still get the same issue

sorry, scratch this, the first post did enable me to find a solution, it was the signon.sqlite file that had become corrupted.
As an interesting aside, this has also fixed the problem with using Xmarksspace which was giving me an "error 3" synchronising problem.
Apologies for the tone of my previous posting, you did provide the information that enabled me to find a solution, thank you and sorry.

  • Problem clearing GR/IR when PO in currency different to Company currency

    Hi Experts
I have an issue where I have a PO in say USD where group currency for company is Aus Dollar (AUD)
At Month end, for whatever reason there is a GR/IR balance and we maintain it with MR11 but MR11 balances the difference in group currency (AUD) where all other postings for the PO are in USD.
When we run F.13 or F13E the account never clears as it only clears matching transactions of same currency. We seem to never be able to clear the posting created by MR11 (without introducing a large tolerance in F.13 perhaps?)
Any ideas on a way forward?
    thanks
    AC

    Hi AC,
Eventhough the P.O is in foreign currency, when you select the Only balances in local currency option, system stores the values only in company code currency. So while clearing you'll not face any issue.
If not maintain this indicator, then system stores the values in local currency and that foreign currency also, then while clearing you'll face the problem.
Only balances in local currency setting should activate to GR/IR clearing account

  • Can't Clear Completed Tasks from Outlook Today

Normally, on the Outlook (2003) Today screen, tasks that are marked completed are shown in grey strikeout until the next day when they fall off the screen. Only current and overdue tasks are shown.  When I mark a task completed on my Blackberry, the task is marked completed on Outlook and is grayed out on the Outlook Today screen, but it still appears as completed the following day. It never falls off of the list (even though it is marked as completed).  It doesn't make a difference where the task is created (Outlook or Blackberry). Any advice to solve this problem?

  • Problem in background task with Control channel trigger in Windows 8.1 app

    Hi,
I created app with control channel trigger as background task.
This is working fine in windows 8.1 desktop whenever app in background and switching from my app to other apps.
But this same behavior is not working fine in windows tab, whenever app switching the notification associated with background task is not working. And some times it throws delayed notifications.
As assumption based, is there any problem in tab to initiate the background task in suspended mode? or is there any regulations for control channel trigger using?
    Expecting your feedback!!! thanks

  • Complete Task with Payload Problem  -- no Human Task Drop Handler

I'm reading section 26.4.1 of Developer’s Guide for Oracle SOA Suite 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) E10224-01 where it refers to figure 26-5 Human Task Drop Handler for Creating the Task Display Form of section 26.4 Creating a Task Display Form.
I've generated taskDetails1.jspx. I highlight Task as in the figure and right click in askDetails1.jspx (design tab) but I don't get a Create JSF page dialog as in the figure.
I get a dialog with Insert Before Show Detail Spacer ... etc (no Create /Human Task/Complete Task with payload etc)
Do I need to position within a particular element ? or is this a bug ? wrongly documented?

  • Problem in mapping Task payload parameters to Oracle Business Rules facts

    Hi all,
We are using complex types from our project XSDs inside the Human Task payload. We intend to use these Human Task payload parameters to build routing rules using the Oracle Business Rules interface. Our observation is that when the complexity of these complex types increase, the business rules editor does not show these as facts that can be used in formulating rules.
Has anybody faced such a problem before. Any help is appreciated.
We are using the following link to add routing rules –
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25054_01/dev.1111/e10224/bp_decision.htm
    Version details :
    ADF Business Components     11.1.1.60.13
    Java(TM) Platform     1.6.0_29
    Oracle IDE     11.1.1.5.37.60.13
    SOA Composite Editor     11.1.1.5.0.01.74
    Thanks,
    Yamini.

Problem solved. There was an element in the xml schema that had nillable = true. Because of this the XML Fact for that element would no longer be available in the BPEL Process. Removing the nillable and generating the XML Facts again solved the missing variable problem.

  • Premiere Pro CS5.5 Playback problem (when mtulti tasking) (Mac)

    Hi,
I have this very weird problem with preimiere pro CS5.5. I've only experienced this today and I've already restarted my mac a number of times and the problem still persists.
Basically, I start up premiere then work on a project, I can do playback no problem, I scrub through the timeline there is audio working, I press the spacebar, the clips play no problems
HOWEVER as soon as I switch (cmd-tab) to let's say Firefox or just even leave premiere for another window. Playback stops working, pressing spacebar won't do anything also even clicking the play button on premiere won't work. I would need to start premiere all over again. The program doesn't hang but te playback just stops working, when I scrub through the timeline, the video moves but there is no audio.
I hope someone can shed light over my problem thanks.
I have never encountered this problem for over a year ever since working on premiere pro CS5/ CS5.5
    I'm on a iMac 21.5 inch late 2010.

I just had a similar issue (Mac OS 10.7.3) Premiere Pro CS 5.5.2 was getting very unstable, seemed like it was very sluggish. When I switched to another app, then back to Premiere, pressing Play or spacebar didn't do anything. However if I waited a long time, like a minute, it came back to live. I'm not sure what is going on with my Premiere Pro these days, but it seems like it's gettings slower for me. One thing I do is to use Cocktail to clean the system caches, the reboot, and it seems this temporarily helps Premiere Pro, but after a time it gets boggy again.
Any advice on what to 'clear' to get PPro in an optimized state? I have a relatively older Mac Pro, 8 core but with 24GB of ram and nVidia 4000. It might be my imagination but it seemed 5.0 and 10.6 was faster and more stable than this, but who knows. Any advice is appreciated.

  • Problem with clientgen task in weblogic 9.0

    hi,
While developing webservices for our project, we used the clientgen ant task for generating the artifacts on the client side. I'm getting trouble in returning a collection of objects (list, vector) from the server to the client. When i try to do so, the clientgen task tries to create a java.util package on the client side in which it creates a List class which basically contains an object array with getter-setter. What i want is for the sun java collections classes to be used instead. The above problem applies to both user-defined as well as built-in objects i.e. say a list of objects of type T or a list of Strings. If someone, has any pointers regarding the same plz help...

Try limiting the length of the session id.
This is in either the weblogic.xml/web.xml
files. You can get the dtd in the 6.0 doc.

  • Problem while opening tasks in Universal Worklist

    Hi Experts,
We are facing some strange behaviour in UWL. User is having tasks from different applications in UWL and is able to open all tasks except one from a particular application. When user tries to open the task of this particular application, an error message comes at the top UWL view saying that "Cannot process the request...Please contact system administrator". User is facing this issue with the task items of only one particular application. All other tasks from different application are working properly.
We are verifying the authorization of user to access the backend application. Kindly share your inputs/experience on the same.
    Any input will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Amit Bagati

    Hi Amit,
Could you please check that the user has:
    1. cleared their personalizations?
You will find out how to do this here:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/05/fe8ef669674991a4205666694b9c85/content.htm
Are their any error messages in the log file for UWL for that specific user?
You can get the Uwl log file from the following place:
The UWL log files located in the following directory:
    /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<InstanceNumber>/j2ee/cluster/server<
    number>/log/applications/sap.com/uwl
    2. You can also bump up the logging level (not sure what the version is) and have the user try to open the task.  The log should then report an issue with this user/task.

  • Problem with Automated Tasks

    Hi all,
At this moment I'm testing a cartridge deployed in OSM7 that is installed in Solaris Spark. The cartridge contains processes that include Automated Tasks with XQuery Sender Automator Internal to send a message to a queue JMS. In some of the Automated Task, when try to execute de XQuery Sender doesn't occur anything, the message is not putted in the queue and in the log doesn't appear any error.
I created 3 orders in OSM, and checking all the WebLogic console I can see the next:
    1. In the worklist of OSM appear the 3 orders with column "State=Received" and doesn't have anything in the column "User", (I think this mean that the automator has not started).
    2. In the WebLogic console -> JMSModules -> "oms_jms_module" -> "oms_events" ->Monitoring, I can see 3 messages "Pending" that correspond to each order created.
    3. The Orchestration Plan "Seen in the osmwebui" is OK.
Note1: When I test the same cartridge deployed in OSM7 installed in Windows I don't have the problem.
Note2: This doesn't occur always, sometimes the JMS Message is putted in the queue and the flow of the order continues in the right way.
Thanks a lot for any suggestion.
    Edited by: user2926753 on 17-nov-2011 9:24

    Ramiro;
From what you are describing, it sounds as if the automation plugin is not deployed - hence the reason why the task you are intending to automate just stays in the received state.
I would suggest you start by undeploying and then redeploying your cartridge.
Of course this doesn't explain your Note2, but worth trying the above in any case.
Can you tell me how you are submitting the order and what release of OSM you are on?
    Thanks,
    Brian.
