Problem in assiging header to invoke an external webservice.

HI,
I want to assign some additional elements to the header when invoking an external webservice.
I am creating a variable named customHeader and it contains an element of anytype.
later in the assign activity i am assigning the following
<copy>
<from expression="ora:parseEscapedXML('<payload><payloadManifest xmlns="http://www.starstandards.or/webservices/2003/12/transport"><manifest xmlns="" id="Content0" namespaceURI="http://www.starstandards.org/STAR" element="ProcessSalesLead"/></payloadManifest></payload>')"/>
<to variable="customHeader"
query="/client:CustomHeader"/>
</copy>
so in the soapmessage the header is added as below:
<env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:x
sd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchem
a-instance"><env:Header><CustomHeader xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/BODMessageS
ender"><payload xmlns=""><payloadManifest xmlns="http://www.starstandards.or/web
services/2003/12/transport"><manifest id="Content0" namespaceURI="http://www.sta
rstandards.org/STAR" element="ProcessSalesLead" xmlns=""/></payloadManifest>
but I donot need that customHeader part to be added.My header should be like this:
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<soap:Header>
<payloadManifest xmlns="http://www.starstandards.org/webservices/2003/12/transport">
<manifest id="Content0" namespaceURI="http://www.starstandards.org/STAR"
element="ProcessPartsOrder" />
</payloadManifest>
</soap:Header>
<soap:Body>
<ProcessMessage xmlns="http://www.starstandards.org/webservices/2003/12/transport">
<payload>

<ProcessSalesLead>
</ProcessSalesLead>

</payload>
</ProcessMessage>
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
can anyone Please help me on this.This is very urgent.
Thanks in advance
deepthi.

anybody has idea about this .Please let me know.

i compared the payload from 10G and 11G the only difference i could find is the order of soap body and header is different.. is it because of this??
i checked in wsdlt the order is correctly declared (first header then body).. but whenever i am creating a variable on this Msg type.. and expanding the variable in jdev the order is getting reveresed.. not sure why?? there is no change in the flow from 10G to 11G.. apart from the migration.

Thanks.. This works..
But it gets lost whenever we redeploy that process..
And of course even though I am seeing http user & http password can be configured in composite.xml.. It is not taking effect..
After redeploy, still the HTTP UserName & Password is blank.

• Invoking an external webservice in OBIEE 11G

I'm trying to create a very basic action to invoke an free external web service. But no matter what WSDL URL I use, I'm getting a SOAP Invocation error saying "Failed to read wsdl file at https://.... "
I've used the following test URLs, but both result in the same SOAP invocation error
http://www.webservicex.net/ConvertTemperature.asmx?WSDL
https://ws.cdyne.com/creditcardverify/luhnchecker.asmx?wsdl
However, both these WSDL URLs can be accessed if I plug them into my browser address field. So I'm thinking I need to change my OBI web proxy settings or something to that effect..
Appreciate any advise on this.
thanks,
Akshay

Would really appreciate some help with this issue. Thanks!

• BPEL or OSB consume external webservices

Hello all ,
After I look over documentation and - Getting Started With Oracle SOA Suite 11g R1: A Hands-On Tutorial: Fast-Track Your SOA Adoption: Build a Service-Oriented Composite Application in Just Hours - still is not clear how can I consume a web-service hosted on other system - for example Websphere or SharePoint .
I had a example one web service register
<service name="DonateBeanService">
<port binding="tns:DonateBeanPortBinding" name="DonateBeanPort">
<soap:address location="http://localhost:8888/TestTopDown/services/DonateBeanPort"/>
</port>
</service>
on my WAS CEE server .
When I tried to made a business service in OSB - I imported the wsdl - create a new business service -add monitor capabilities but the call is not made to the service endpoint .
Also inside BPEL how can I invoke a external webservice .
Can anyone help me please with some points or advices ? What is wrong in the approach ? In the end OSB capabilities should allow me to integrate with other systems very easy .
Many thanks in advance for all .
And a HAPPY NEW YEAR .
Best regards,
Stefan

how can invoke from inside a BPEL the same service ? or in the BPEL is better to have only local web-services BPEL can also invoke the same service. To know more about BPEL, please refer -
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bpel/overview/index-088867.html
Post BPEL related questions in BPEL forum -
BPEL
And the last one - if I need to read information from a file and send parameters to this webservice - how I will do it on the OSB ?Create a messaging type/Any XML proxy service in OSB with FILE/FTP transport (as per your requirement). In message flow of proxy service you may use XQuery/XSLT/MFL to transform the content of the pulled file into the XML required for calling web-service. Use communication actions to call business service from proxy service message flow. You may like to refer -

• Problems backing up I-tunes library to external hard drive.

Help - I'm having problems backing up I-tunes library to external hard drive. The drive appears on the desktop but when I try to drag in my i-tunes music folder I just get the circle with a line through it symbol. I can drag items from my mac to a different 4 gig memory stick with no problems. I put some music onto the hard drive from a windows p.c. and that dragged into my i-tunes fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

i'm guessing the external HD is NTFS formatted, which your Mac cannot write to (read only).
you will either have to reformat it (FAT32 or, better yet, for Mac) or install the _*NTFS 3G*_ driver.

• Invoking an external web service through a JCD with Basic Authentication

Group,
I am trying to invoke an external web service (written in ASP.Net) from a jcd (5.1.2). The web service is guarded by Basic Authentication. I have entered the crudentials into the External Web service environment component and deployed the project. I receive the following error from the .invoke() method:
request requires HTTP authentication: Unauthorized
I have tried the same request through SoapUI using the same crudentials and get back the response correctly. Has anyone tried invoking an external web service with basic authentication through a jcd in 5.1.2 before?
One other item of note. I have another jcd calling a different external web service deployed on the same domain. I hope that this isn't interfering with the execution of this service as it doesn't require any crudentials to execute.

Hey Chris.
I am just starting to write a jcd that calls an external web service but cannot find any sample code nor instructions on how to do it in the supplied documentation. Could you send me a code sample from your one?
Cheers
Matt

Re: Creating a partnerlink from a secure webservice

• I have a 17" Macbook pro with flickering red and cyan(blue) lines across the screen. The issue disappears temporarily when I tap on the computer, and the problem does not occur when I use external display or try to screen capture the problem.

I purchased my Macbook (17") through a certified apple tecnition in August 2012, it was refurbished and the motherboard was completely replaced. I do a lot of photo editing, but I have been unable to do so because of the red vibrating lines that interrupt my screen. The issue disappears temporarily when I tap on the computer, and the problem does not occur when I use external display or try to screen capture the problem. I brought the computer back to the technition I purchased it from and he said that it was a problem with my fan, so I have two new fans but the issue is still occuring. He says he doesnt know whats wrong. Does anyone have any information on this issue?
Here is an image of the issue
http://www.flickr.com/photos/67839707@N08/8884847081/

I recommend having your Mac serviced by someone competent. A force sufficient to "blow apart" the fans was clearly excessive and may have damaged the display cable, as well as any number of other problems.
Dust is properly cleaned with a vacuum, preferably one designed for computer service, and they are not cheap.
Compressed air should never be used. It just blows dust everywhere, often into places where it can no longer be removed.

• Problem: Invalid BTree Header

I don't use 9.2.2 much but could it be a problem for 10.4.7? on 9.2.2 I get: Problem: Invalid BTree Header all the time after running Disk first aid again and again. It says it fixed the problem but the error keeps comming back.
I know this has been disscussed elsewhere but I could not find a definite answer on what to do. I will not use Norton. Please help.

Hi Walter;
If DW can touch the problem, about the only solution left is to reformat and reinstall now.
One question, you did run DW while booted from another disk? If not, DW is not able to repair the disk that the operating system is running from.

You may use Field Exit to do this enhancement. You can create fieldexit from report RSMODPRF.
In order to use field exit check/activate Profile Parameter abap/fieldexit using t code RZ11.

• Maverick Mail Printing Problem: prints email header on separate page from body of email. Why?!

Maverick Mail Printing Problem: prints email header on separate page from body of email. Why?!

For what it's worth, I can report exactly the same problem. I just recently converted from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Mail. I did the conversion while running Yosemite. I like pretty much everything about Mail EXCEPT that it take 2 pages to print a 1 page email!! The header appears on the top of p.1, followed by a blank space. The message begins at the top of p.2.
If you scale it down, you can get the message to begin to appear on the bottom of p.1, but clearly, Mail is inserting BIG SPACE between the header and the message. Changing the display fonts for Mail had no apparent effect (except that the font DID change, of course)....still a BIG SPACE between the header and the message.
Coming to Mail for the first time, I would have assumed that this was just a quirk of Mail, but am I understanding that some of you Mail users out there USED TO NOT have this problem?? I think it's pretty clear that it's Mail that's causing the problem, not the message, because I went over to my old Outlook and printed the same couple of messages with no such space between the header and the message. So Mail is inserting a space into the print formatted email message that is NOT there in Outlook's print formatted same message.
Be really nice to get rid of this problem, but my Apple Care free support has expired. Not sure I want to pay for something that's generic to Mail!! Anyone else made any progress on this?

• Problems with sources of supply determination for external requirements.

Hi gurus...
My scenario is SRM Classic Extended.
We have a problems with sources of supply determination for external
requirements comes from ECC. The shopping cart is created with successful
based in the purchase requisition at ECC, but when i try to make the
determination of sources of supply the system doesnt find any source of
supply.
There are a lot sources of supply creates for these parameters. The
contracts were already replicated to ECC.
This problem only occurs with external requirements comes from ECC, if i
created a shopping cart directly at SRM, using the same parameters, the
system propose the sources of supply correctly.
Is there something that we can do?? This is the normal comportment for the souces of supply?
Tks,
Gustavo Nogueira

Hello Gustavo Nogueira
Then it is an issue.
How are you searching the source of supply in sourcing cockpit.
Can you replicate the issue?
Let me know step by step,
as per standard SAP , source of supply data must be available for shopping carts so that buyer can assign the source of supply.
please share what source of supply you have there .

• SchedulerTask and external webservice problems

Hi,
I need to build an application that fetches some report from an external webservice (Axis) on the net and stores some data in a portal database.
However, I picked the KM-residing SchedulerTask to solve this issue because you can run it just like cron-jobs and the like.
In my SchedulerTasks code - it has been tested standalone and does a great job fetching data from webservice - the calls fails due to a "connection refused", see stacktrace way below.
My portal is a development machine and is therefore talking to and with everyone, fully open, un-proxied and should not hinder me from accessing such a webservice, I think.
I checked the webservice URL (wsdl-ended) is accessible from within my SchedulerTask by opening a simple java.net.URL on it which worked really nice.
My questions are:
- Did someone experience a similar behaviour and if so how did you solve this?
- Is there any additional configuration needed to make portal/KM speak with external webservices?
- Any other thoughts?
Thanks for your help!

Because you have similar problems with Photo Booth when using another camera, you may be rushing Photo Booth. Consider the suggestions offered here:
      http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7018319&#7018319
If apps other than Photo Booth record properly but you do not want to use one of those that work properly, it is possible that a corrupted Photo Booth Preferences file is causing your problem. Quit Photo Booth (and all other applications) and throw away the Photo Booth Preferences file (com.apple.photobooth.plist) from your Home / Library / Preferences folder. A new preferences folder will be generated when you restart Photo Booth to test whether it works now.
If resetting preferences did not help but you still want to use Photo Booth, reinstalling the Photo Booth app might help.
