Problem in GTC
Hi,
in GTC first time i am able to create ,in second time to do the modifications it not allows me it gives the :Duplicate object found during import error
I checked "Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS" here there is no duplication ,
can any one help me

Also, the user 'oimuser' has sufficient privileges for the view 'PS_RSTR_FMSU_VW'. The data in the view is accessible and can be read when logged-in as oimuser in SQL developer.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

I have a CSV which is a trusted source for users. I have configured GTC as below

Well if for update type events you provide a blank value for mandatory fields, it will still process the event because OIM already has the value fed in for those fields at the time of creation. So it really does not throw those missingRequiredFields error. The only case when you can see those errors in update events is when you have checked the Required checkbox in the RO Attribute definition. So if you have not marked it as mandatory in the Resource Object then update event will not bring any error.

As you told that this is throwing the same error in Create/Update events both. So best would be to do a re-apply from design console and see what the exact error is. Now if its for create as well then as per *..375* it could be mandatory fields as well. Go to Reconciliation Manager, open up any event, click on Re-Apply Rules. Now see what the error is:
- If its says attribute * . . * provided does not exist in OIM like error then you are providing some wrong value for any OIM attribute *(Organization, Employee-Type or user-Type)*
- If it says Mandatory Values not Provided for User creation the you are missing some mandatory fields.

When i run Flatfile recon i get an unparsable error. my date attribtue in xl.defaultDatefomat yyyy/MM/dd but the dates in my flat-file dd/MM/yyyy is there any way i can fix this error?

I get the same error during GTC Flat file recon. "java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "2009/01/25"
my xl.defaultDateformat=yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss z and source Date Format is given as yyyy/MM/dd(2009/01/25) and the date format in my flatfile is given as yyyy/MM/dd. But i still get this error.
I also tried with the following dates in flatfile
2009/Mar/25
2009/01/25
2009/March/25
Did I miss anything here!

I am facing a problem with GTC. I have to change the default mapping of GTC through the Reconciliation Rules section of Design Console but in the Reconciliation Rules Table section of the Design Console i am not able to see the GTC Resource Object.
Otherwise, if i navigate to the Resource Object tab of the design console and search for the Resource Object corresponding to the GTC i am able to find it.
Kindly help.Is it possible to achieve this?You can modify the process definition at any point of time. Remove the existing adapter and attach your own adapter which will do the logical cancellation.
If you are looking for some configuration in GTC itself then I don't think it is possible. -
GTC Creation Problem with OIM9.1.0.1866.50 BP12
Hi,
I have installed OIM 9.1.0.1 on OAS. After BP12 was installed, I can't create a GTC connector (step 3: Modify Connector Configuration).
An error ocurres when I try to do the following steps:
-Create a new field in OIM stage ( String, 100 chars, mapping without transformation)
-Map a field (Provisioning Staging stage) with the new field created above
When I Select in the pop up windows the new field to map--> "A system error was encountered. Contact Oracle Identity Manager System Administrator."
Without BP12 this error does not ocurred!

Problem with using GTC connector
Hi All,
we are using data base table connector for the trusted recon from oracle database to oim. I have an entity adapter which i attached to the pre-insert updates the Organization depends on the attribute. This is working fine when i do the first time recon , the organization is updating properly. But if i updates any field in the database and reconcile, the Organization is updating as Xellerate Users.The old value is wiped out.
How can i solve this problem.
Is this solved by using attaching the adapter to the post-update also.

I think you connector is brining Organization as Xellerate Users but at pre insert you are updating it with your org name.
But on updating you haven't put your entity adapter i.e. on Pre Update that's why it is updating org as Xellerate Users. Put your adapter on pre update too. -

In case you want that data to be a part of next Reconciliation execution, restore it from Staging. Provider logs must be containing details about storage entities that would have been archived.
The column ID_USUARIO exists in the ADM_PRIVIL.USERS_OIM_TEST table.

802.11X PEAP/EAP-GTC wireless problems
I have a WPA2 wireless network that uses PEAP/EAP-GTC to authenticate. The token in this case is an RSA key, where the credentials expire after 60 seconds. I have two problems.
First. The Macbook continuously wants to use keychain to provide cached credentials anytime it reauthenticates me. I can click Deny and it will prompt me with the login window, and this login window has a checkbox for 'Only use password once', which I check. But it still wants to use cached credentials each time. Is this fixable? I have tried deleting the entry in the keychain but it always gets recreated when I authenticate on the WLAN in question.
Second has to do with sleep mode. If the laptop goes to sleep, it will not prompt me to reauthenticate unless I turn off the airport adapter and turn it back on, or reboot. This is a bigger problem.
Any ideas?Any ideas here? The problem is getting worse. I have to fiddle with airport settings for 15 minutes sometimes to get authenticated. XP/Vista clients on the same network get on the first time, every time.

Problem in sending updates to GTC target
I have auto provisioning OIM users to SQL's MyUser table using GTC (DBAT 9103). The auto provision works fine for new users in OIM.
However, any further changes to already provisioned OIM-User's attribute NOT getting provisioned to SQL's table. I checked the Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS and added "Change First Name" and "First Name Updated" to task list of SQL_GTC procsess using adpSQL_GTC adapter. Note that SQL_GTC process and adpSQL_GTC adapter are created by default.
When I change First Name from OIM UI, I gets this error in weblogic console.

KabiYou would normally cascade the changes to the USR form using the Change First Name task to copy from USR form to process form and the let First Name Updated copy the value from process form to the target system.
It doesn't sound like you have configured the cascading correctly.

I am getting the following error while provisioning a resource using GTC and SPML... have created GTC and provisioning process ..is working for 1 instance (workflow) but have created a new instance with the same connector which is failing during the provisioning process and I am getting the below error.pLZ HELP. .

1) DB_STATUS.. error was coming since the lookup I gave there was not actually created in the database due to a refresh I did while creating it effectively deleting all the entered data.
2) The error in logs was coming due to wrong input of the GTC database provider during the creation of IT Resource. -

Perhaps you got the wrong db name? Or schema name?
Everything looks good so most probably there simply is some little typo somewhere.
