Problem in including text id in sapscript

Hi,
I am using the following command to include a text id in sapscript.
INCLUDE &VBDKR-XBLNR& OBJECT VBBK ID Z001 LANGUAGE &VBDKR-SPRAS_VKO&
But the text is not showing in form. Now when I debug the sap script I found that altough VBDKR-XBLNR is holding value 0060000120 but the at include commant the value passed is 60000120.
So the text id is not found.
How to resolve this problem.
Regards,
Mainak

Solution:
INCLUDE &VBDKR-XBLNR(K)& OBJECT VBBK ID Z001 LANGUAGE &VBDKR-SPRAS_VKO&
see the (K) within your variable &VBDKR-XBLNR(K)&.
this k makes him skip conversion routine which is responsible for cutting the leading zeros.
/edit
You can as well use VBDKR-TDNAME which is by default your invoice number WITH leading zeros.
while VBDPR-TDNAME is your invoice number with leading zeros AND your position number right concatenated to it.

  • Indent /tab position for text from INCLUDE texts in SAPscript

    Hi, ABAP colleagues!
Need your help on this sapscript problem:  How to align texts taken from "INCLUDE TEXT" in SAPscript, according to tab defined in Paragraph Format?
Or, how to control tab positions for texts which were extracted from “INCLUDE text” commands in SAPscript?
I defined a paragraph format with tab stop at 8 CH so that with 2 commas (,,) my text will be displayed there.  However it always appears to the left (e.g. 1st column) and not indented at the proper column for description/text (e.g. which is in second column).
Pls help, bec a different heading and information is not acceptable to client for the Thailand characters.
Above is the description of the problem.  Below are some technical details.
For specific example, I am editing Zversion of standard sap MM form MEDRUCK Window Main -  Text Element Item Text.
    BG ,,&TTXIT-TDTEXT&
    /: INCLUDE &T166P-TXNAM& OBJECT &T166P-TDOBJECT& ID &T166P-TDID&
    /: NEW-PARAGRAPH BG
    So far, tried these approaches:
    PARAGRAPH
    NEW-PARAGRAPH
    LANGUAGE '2'
    THANGSAN font
    Any ideas?
Thank you so much in advance for all your help. Our project team will really appreciate it. May the Lord bless you as we go through our SAP work!

i m geting problem with read-text command in sapscript as will as

    Hi Majid,
It's a function module to read the texts from a text file. Generally it is used to retrieve the long texts.
The function module reads the desired text from the text file, the text memory, or the archive. You must fully specify the text using OBJECT, NAME, ID, and LANGUAGE. An internal work area can hold only one text; therefore, generic specifications are not allowed with these options.
After successful reading, the system places header information and text lines into the work areas specified with HEADER and LINES.
If a reference text is used, SAPscript automatically processes the reference chain and provides the text lines found in the text at the end of the chain. If an error occurs, the system leaves the function module and triggers the exception REFERENCE_CHECK.

  • For SAPscript INCLUDE TEXT, how to align as Paragraph format

    Hi experts and ABAP colleagues!
Need your help on this sapscript problem:
How to align texts taken from "INCLUDE TEXT" in SAPscript, according to tab defined in Paragraph Format?
For example, I defined BG to have tabstop at the 2nd column (or equivalent to 1st tab position) where I need to print the text, and then declared it in SE71 like below:
However the text prints at the leftmost instead of at the 2nd col position - (8th char tab defined in par. format BG).  Hence it is not aligned to its proper heading.  Line Number instead of Description - which is not okay for client view that needs these Thai texts.
The technical details I included below.  Kindly examine:
1.)  Window >Main > Text Element > Include Text command
    /E   ITEM_TEXT
    BG   ,,&TTXIT-TDTEXT&
    /:   INCLUDE &T166P-TXNAM& OBJECT &T166P-TDOBJECT& ID &T166P-TDID&
    /:   NEW-PARAGRAPH BG
Note:  I used command "NEW-PARAGRAPH" and had exactly the above code in se71.  Anything missed here?  Pls. help.  Thanks.
    #2.) Paragraph Format > Tab
    No. -
      Tab Position -
    Alignment
    1            8,00 CH            LEFT
    2            28,00 CH          CENTER
    etc.
Note:   and then i put in  ",,&TTXIT-TDTEXT&" (see above) with the 2 comma's beforehand to say that its on the 1st tab or at the 8th character where it should be printed, but does not give intended result... pls help.
#3.) Paragraph Formats > Standard Attributes
    Left Margin - 0 cm
    Alignment - Left
no blank lines checkbox - ticked
Note:  Is there any more attribute i can manipulate from here to force display at the right position?
Thank you so much in advance for all your help.  Our project team will really appreciate it.  May the Lord bless you as we go through our SAP work!
    Sincerely,
    Celeste

Here's a thought, instead of using tabs, try writing a method that takes a string that is the starting string, a pad character, and a length and returns a string padded to that length with the specified character.
public String padR(String src, String padChar, int len)
// ... You get to fill in the rest suggestion try to do it without a loop
    }Have fun,

  • About include text in sapscript form printing

    hi experts:
I am learning about form printing, the control command-include,for example:INCLUDE ZTEST OBJECT TEXT ID ST.
the question is:how to ceate the text?
       thanks

    Hi,
Standard text are used to include a Fixed Note or Rules or regulation document in SAPSCRIPT.
You can include this text any where in your SAPSCRIPT, just by using include text.
It is created in SO10 transaction, Where you can create the standard text. Object Name --> Starting with Z, Text ID --> ST, Language --> EN
Just enter the text you want to display inside the editor and save it.
Then go to sapscript editor --> in Menu Include --> Text --> Standard.
    It wil get included.
    Hope this may be useful..

  • SAP Script: Include text in MAIN window prints outside MAIN window margins

    Hi,
We're facing a peculiar issue. We call a text element in the MAIN window of an SAP Script form using FM WRITE_FORM.
    The element has 2 includes.
The problem is that when the content of any of the 2 includes is large enough, the include text prints overflows outside the MAIN window margins on the first page and into the area of the footer window of the same page. It does not automatically flow to the next page MAIN window.
We have checked that the MAIN window and FOOTER window margins do not overlap. Infact they are quite far from each other.
We have tried stuff like using a forced PROTECT, change the para format etc, but nothing solves the problem.
    Does anyone have any idea?

You do not need to use the subroutine READ_ORDER_TEXT to get another text name because you already have it: TMP_TXNAM2 .
Pass this value back to your SAPscript, and it is okay.
Or you can even check the text object is empty or not, if no text is found, print 2 empty lines:
still use your subroutine to read the text, if no line is found, set TMP_TXNAM2  to empty, otherwise, no change,
In SAPscript, check the value is empty or not, then print 2 empty line or the text object...

  • URGENT -  Included texts with duplicate names!

Let me explain a bit.  We just had our orders flip to the 500K range.  The problem is that our intercompany stock transfers also lie in the 500K range.  What is happening is all of the included header text, on orders/deliveries, are displayed by an included text in SAPScript and SmartForms.  The name of the text is vblkp-zztdnameh which is the sales order number.  The problem is that we have duplicate sales order numbers in the 500K range.  What I need to do is fix it so that the include is pulling the right order number.
Are there any suggestions as to what I should do to fix it?  As I said, this is quite urgent in that we have deliveries going out with no carrier notes (actually incorrect carrier notes).  It also affects our international shipments and we could have problems getting the shipments through customs.
    Regards,
    Davis

Make sure they are in separate folders on your local drive and bring them into your project  in a separate bin.
    Wont be an issue.
AVCHD for example always creates same filenames one each sd card and needs to be managed this way.
eg . Local drive / Rushes Card 1, Local drive / Rushes Card 2,, Local drive / Rushes Card 3...
I create a Project Bin to match..
Needs a little bit of organising andf managing if exporting an edl though.

  • How to control formatting of include text in smartform

Hello Everyone - I have converted sales order acknowledgements from sapscript to smartform. I need to print material sales text at line level. Include text method is being used, it works in most cases. However, in some cases the Std Paragraph format coded in the include text, is being ignored and the text prints as per default standard paragraph format defined in the smart style.
The only difference I could find in the text set up, using read_text function, is that the format character for the first line. The desired formatting is achieved when the formatting character is '*', otherwise the format defaults to the standard default paragraph defined in the smart style.
Could anyone suggest if there is a way to keep the paragraph formatting consistent and always use the formatting defined in the include text.
    Thanks in advance,
    Anil

I have resolved this issue. The include text node was defined twice for the form and I had only assigned standard and first paragraph to one of them. The alignment error occured when the second include text was executed. Modified the second node to be same as the first and all worked as expected.

  • Text element with line item content and include text

    Hi All,
How to write in smartform in single text element with line item content and include text.I am using this text element in table . Pls help me out. i am writing the include command in text element ,but this command is not enough for single line of text editor.
    thanks ,

I have been pulling my hair out for a few days trying to find
this solution. This fixed my problems as well.
I was getting ready to scrap the Report Builder altogether
and move to SQL Server Reporting Services over this issue.
I'm running 7.0.2 also, that version alone fixed many small
issues like creating borders and such.
    Thanks

  • Character format on include text in smart form ??

    hello,
i want to apply a character format on my include text, as we do on text elements .. how to apply it on include text ??
    thanks..

    Hey dude ,
Just go to the <b>output option</b> of the text and include the smartstyle, where you have mentioned the required charecter format. Before doing this you should have activated your smartstyle .
    Your problem will be solved.

    Kunal.

  • Adobe PDF Form: Include text in table

    Hi,
Im kinda new to Adobe Forms, and this may seem like a very basic question.
I have copied a standard SAP VAT invoice adobe form and Im making changes to it.
I have added an "include text" (which has multiple lines) to an already existing table with multiple columns.
The problem is that while the include text prints correctly when it expands, the entire table does not expand along with it.
So when the include text goes into many lines, it exceeds the table boundary and overwrites other areas of the form.
The table layout is like this .
    Column1                Column2 Column3 Column4 Column5 Column6
Inc text                    50$        1.00       PAID       DELIV
    Many Lines       -
    Line3
    Line4
    Line5
Is there any grouping or somehting that i have to do?
    Thanks,
    John

Basically, you need to create a pdf form.
Add a text field to your form.
There you can choose which font your want the text to appear in.
The trick is, when you export from InDesign, in the "Advanced Tab" — set "Subset fonts when percentage…" to 0%, so the whole font embeds.'
I believe there's an option in Acrobat to embed the font as well, but I'm not recalling what it it.
But that will ensure the font appears correctly.

  • Converting images that include text boxes and callouts in FM

    Hello,
I'm on a new project (TCS 3.5, RH 9, FM 10) that requires me to include text boxes and lines (callouts) on top / in front of many of the images in FM. The reason they are not allowing me to add the text/callouts to the images themselves is because they want to keep the text boxes editable for translation.
The problem: After importing into RH, these images have white borders on all sides that they didn't have previously and I can't figure out what's causing it.
When I remove the text/callouts from over the images in question, then reimport, the problem resolves and the white borders disappear. When I view the original image files, there are no borders present. After I import, I view the image file in the RH folder and it does include the border. (So the border is on the image itself.)
Presently, the Object Properties for the images are as follows:
    Offset From:
    Top: 0.0"
    Left: 0.0"
Border Width: 0.015 (which is lowest FM allows me to set... I get an error message when I try to enter 0.0)
    Anchored Frame settings:
    Anchoring Position: Below Current Line
    Alignment: Left
    Cropped/Floating: both unchecked
I've tried many different variations and tests; probably too many to list here. In short, the "border" appears when there is text/callouts on the image and it disappears when I delete the text/callouts. I was hoping that someone may have had a similar issue. Please let me know if you need more info to troubleshoot and thanks for reading.
    Best,
    Tom

I had the same problem with callouts, but my solution was to add them directly to the image, so that doesn't help you.
Another things you can try to is ensure that the edges of the image do not touch the edges of the anchored frame. Make sure there is a bit of white space. I don't know why, but when any of my images touch the anchored frame, the conversion looks awful.
Also, my images appeared best in Robohelp when I set the properties for the image in Robohelp as follows:
    File > Project Settings
    Import tab
Edit conversion settings for FrameMaker documents
On the left side, select Image
Set Width and Height to 0pt (this ensures that the image is not resized)

  • Smartforms -  displaying the include text restricting to spras.?

In Smartforms i have used include text to display Header text of an invoice .
I provided all the relevant details for the include text such as,
    1:text name:wa_vbdkr-vbeln
    2:text object-vbbk
    3: text -id-0001
    4:language-nast-spras.
The problem is in the output it always displays english text eventhough nast-spras is Slovakian .Output should be blank if not maintained.(Header can be maintained in any language).
Is there any possibility of displaying the text restricting to spras.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Anji,
    Thanks for your reply .
We use the so10 only when we have fixed data such as address then we go for it.
But that's not my case .Header text can be changed any time for given Invoice.
If maintained it should appear for that language if not it should be blank.
