Hi Arshdeep,
                   DI server is running and I have the proper licenses for SDK and ADDons.I am putting the code for the Login(hardcoded the parameters used for login):
<WebMethod()> _
     Public Function Login() As String
        Dim DISnode As SBODI_Server.Node
        Dim sSOAPans, sCmd As String
        DISnode = New SBODI_Server.Node
        sCmd = "<?xml version=""1.0"" encoding=""UTF-16""?>"
        sCmd += "<env:Envelope xmlns:env=""http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"">"
        sCmd += "<env:Body><dis:Login xmlns:dis=""http://www.sap.com/SBO/DIS"">"
        sCmd += "<DatabaseServer>" & "X63\SAP" & "</DatabaseServer>"
        sCmd += "<DatabaseName>" & "ASLLIVE" & "</DatabaseName>"
        sCmd += "<DatabaseType>" & "dst_MSSQL2005" & "</DatabaseType>"
        sCmd += "<DatabaseUsername>" & "sa" & "</DatabaseUsername>"
        sCmd += "<DatabasePassword>" & "xen007" & "</DatabasePassword>"
        sCmd += "<CompanyUsername>" & "manager" & "</CompanyUsername>"
        sCmd += "<CompanyPassword>" & "manager" & "</CompanyPassword>"
        sCmd += "<Language>" & "ln_English" & "</Language>"
        sCmd += "<LicenseServer>" & "X63:30000" & "</LicenseServer>" 'ILTLVH25
        sCmd += "</dis:Login></env:Body></env:Envelope>"
        sSOAPans = DISnode.Interact(sCmd)
        Dim xmlValid As System.Xml.XmlReader
        'Dim xmlValid As System.Xml.XmlValidatingReader
        Dim sRet As String
        xmlValid = New System.Xml.XmlTextReader(sSOAPans, System.Xml.XmlNodeType.Document, Nothing)
        While xmlValid.Read()
            If xmlValid.NodeType = System.Xml.XmlNodeType.Text Then
                If sRet = "" Then
                    sRet += xmlValid.Value
                Else
                    If sRet.StartsWith("Error") Then
                        sRet += " " & xmlValid.Value
                    Else
                        sRet = "Error " & sRet & " " & xmlValid.Value
                    End If
                End If
            End If
        End While
        If InStr(sSOAPans, "<env:Fault>") And (Not (sRet.StartsWith("Error"))) Then
            sRet = "Error: " & sRet

  • Problem while creating Physical standby database on remote Server

    Hi
    I try to create a physical standby datbaase using OEM 10gr2, it is working when I create on same server. No issue but when I try to create same on remote server it is giving below warning and process failing. Please let me know what needs to be down in this senario...
    It is showing redo log information in v$log and v$log_file but not creating physically on PHYSICAL Standby instance..
    I appriciate your help and ur time too..
    These messages are from PRIMARY database alert*.log file
    There is space for up to 12 standby redo logfiles
    Use the following SQL commands on the standby database to create
    standby redo logfiles that match the primary database:
    ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl1.f' SIZE 52428800;
    ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl2.f' SIZE 52428800;
    ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl3.f' SIZE 52428800;
    ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl4.f' SIZE 52428800;
    ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl5.f' SIZE 52428800;
    WARNING: OMF is enabled on this database. Creating a physical
    standby controlfile, when OMF is enabled on the primary
    database, requires manual RMAN intervention to resolve OMF
    datafile pathnames.
    NOTE: Please refer to the RMAN documentation for procedures
    describing how to manually resolve OMF datafile pathnames.
    Thanks and Regards,
    RK

    Well, it is simply warning that "Creating a physical
    standby controlfile, when OMF is enabled on the primary
    database, requires manual RMAN intervention to resolve OMF
    datafile pathnames.
    NOTE: Please refer to the RMAN documentation for procedures
    describing how to manually resolve OMF datafile pathnames"
    For instance, the path for the logfile name in "ALTER DATABASE ADD STANDBY LOGFILE 'srl5.f' SIZE 52428800" may need to be changed manually. It is advisable to check the mentioned documentation.

  • Not able to connect to oracle 11g database source through OBI Server

    Hi,
    I am having an issue regarding the database connectivity.
    Iam unable to connect to the oracle 11g database through OBI server. However its connecting through SQL Plus with same username/password@hoststring. Its giving the error as :
    [nQSError: 17001]Oracle Error code:1017,message:ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied at OCI call OCILogon
    [nQSError: 17014]Could not connect to Oracle database.
    Please help me out in resolving the issue.

    If it's working in one place and not the other then it's obviously not an OBIEE problem.
    Are you typing it in right??
    Do you have multiple tnsnames.ora files pointing to different databases, maybe sqlplus is picking up one and toad & OBIEE the other and so the username/pw is wrong for that database?
    There's a limited amount that can be said to help, as the error is 100% clear what the problem is :) it's just working out whether you're connecting to the database that you think you are connecting to, and then whether the username & PW you're entering is correct for that DB.
    BTW OBIEE 10.1.3.4 is supported with 11g, and we're using it without problem here.

  • Importing Database from SQL Server into Oracle 8i

    Hello Friends,
    Cuurentlly we are using SQL Server as our application database, Now we want to switch on at Oracle 8i,bcz of some problems,
    If anybody had done so,then please help me in solving this problem,
    I wana Import whole database from SQL server to Oracle
    Lot of thanks

    Hi,
    Use the SQL Server Enterprise Manager to export all the tables from SQL to oralce.
    When selecting the target database use the Oracle native driver (the name is not on top of my head) and not the ODBC one.
    You will have problems with datatypes. Make sure to edit the mappings for the proper datatype if required.
    If you have ntext columns, make sure they are translated to CLOB and not long.

    Wasim.

    hi guys,
    i am trying to create a group in oim database through sql query:

    hi vladimir,
    i didn't find this 'ugp_seq'.is this a table or column?where is it?
    It is a sequence.
    See here for details on oracle sequences:
    http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/sequences.php
    Most of the OIM database schema is created with the following script, located in the RCU distribution:
    $RCU_HOME/rcu/integration/oim/sql/xell.sql
    there you'll find plenty of sequence creation directives like:
    create sequence UGP_SEQ
    increment by 1
    start with 1
    cache 20
    to create a sequence, and
    INSERT INTO UGP (UGP_KEY, UGP_NAME, UGP_UPDATEBY, UGP_UPDATE, UGP_CREATEBY, UGP_CREATE,UGP_ROWVER, UGP_DATA_LEVEL, UGP_ROLE_CATEGORY_KEY, UGP_ROLE_OWNER_KEY, UGP_DISPLAY_NAME, UGP_ROLENAME, UGP_DESCRIPTION, UGP_NAMESPACE)
    VALUES (ugp_seq.nextval,'SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS', sysadmUsrKey , SYSDATE,sysadmUsrKey , SYSDATE, hextoraw('0000000000000000'), 1, roleCategoryKey, sysadmUsrKey, 'SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS', 'SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS', 'System Administrator role for OIM', 'Default');
    as a sequence usage example.

    Well, the obviously solution is to use separate Apple ID's for iCloud.

  • Problem to login

    Hi,
    How to resolve this problem, to login the database?
    Cannot connect to PC326VM01\SSEXPR12.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 233)
    Many Thanks & Best Regards, Hua Min

    If I've put this
    I will then get this problem
    Cannot connect to tcp:PC326VM01\SSEXPR12,1433.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 10061)
    Hi HuaMin,
    From your description, you are connecting to  the local SQL Server instance from SSMS 2012 and get the error 10061.
    As mentioned in this
    article, the error could occur because the server is not started. Could you please restart the SQL Server service in SQL Server Configuration Manager (SSCM)? Please make sure that the service is started successfully. Then type ‘localhost\SSEXPR12’ or ‘IPaddress\SSEXPR12’
    in the Server Name, type your user & password, and check if you can connect to the SQL Server successfully.
    Thanks,
    Lydia Zhang
