Problem in opening adobe form

Dear Experts,
I have developed an interactive form using the NWDS version 7.0.13 I have given the display type property of the form as "Native". When I open this form on some machine it's opening properly only if the adobe version installed is 7.0 or above but if the version is less than that I am unable to see it initially. Only after going to the Adobe>Edit>Preferences>Internet>Display PDF in browser and checking the option I am able to view it. My requirement is to be able to see this adobe interactive form irrespective of the version of adobe installed on the machine. Is there any option to enable this setting through code or any other option so that I may be able to view the adobe interactive form on any machine with any version of Adobe reader installed? I am using Designer 6.0.
Please suggest your opinions regarding this issue.

Hey Gaurav,
You should upgrade the version of Adobe Reader to 8.1.1 minimum. Also with your designer, you probably want to upgrade to 7.1. Take a look at these notes:

SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 Error in ISR when trying opening adobe form layout

Hi,
I'm running into SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 error when trying to open any adobe form layout in the ISR secenario definition. Can anyone let me know why I'm getting this error and what the solution is?
FYI, I'm using SAP gui version 640 Final Release, File Version 6404.4.14.2987, build 781208, Patch level 14
I do have Adobe LifeCycle Designer 7.1, Reader 8 and MSOffice 2002.

I think I m having similar problem. I installed Sap Gui 7.1, SAP interactive form and Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES.
I was able to open abode form layout in the transaction SFP. However, after I upgraded my Adobe to 7.0.9. (previous version is 7.x.x). I get the error SOFFICEINTEGRATION143 when try open again.
I uninstalled Adobe 7.0.9 and installed Adobe 8.1 but it still get the same error.
Can anyone help?

Problem during view Adobe Form in Web Request

Hi All,
I am facing problem while viewing the adobe form inside the Web Request form.
Let me describe the issue clearly.
I need to have a table in Adobe Form.So i created one table type and bind it to the table structure created, in Adobe Form.
Then i uploaded the form as web request successfully.
Now when i m trying to view the form from web ui, its unable to assign child node data at runtime.so dump is coming.
Can anyone show light on this....i have tried all the possibilities.
Unfortunately there is no standrad scenario available for reference.

Thanks for your reply.But this is not my requirement.
If you will go to tcode CRM_UI and log in using business role CRMGRMPRGMAN, then go to Application and open one application.Here there is one assignment block called 'Application Form'. Here i have uploaded my Adobe Form as web request.
This is working fine when i have simple linear form.
But when i am using table inside the form and doing binding for it, Application is getting created with that form but while openning it here in the assignment block, dump is coming as below.Its not able to assign the child node.

Problem with the Adobe Forms

Hi,
I am having two issues regarding Interactive Adobe forms.
We are impelementing MSS/ESS in ECC5.0,EP6 and first , in the PCR after i select " Change Employee Group/subgroup" (edit it, preview it) then when i click on Submit button it gives me Parser Exception . Error message reads as below :

second, When i select either "Request for Internal Transfer(Enhanced)" or "Request Promotion " it displays a warning message " Form could not be called up due to an internal error " . Rest of the form types i am able to get them ( view,edit,preview and submit )
What could be issue in both the cases here. Need your help on this

Hi Vijay,
Check if your XML code is properly. You can do this by going into t-code SFP, open form ISR_FORM_SPEG and go to the layout tab.
Now Adobe Designer will start. If you don't have a XML tab, Select View > XML source. You can copy the XML source in a new text file and display it with Internet Explorer. If it works, you will see the XML source. If it fails, you will receive an XML parse error from IE.
The problem may occur by using different languages. SAP provides the SPEG and other MSS scenarios as an example.

Problem while openning Interactive Form

Hi All,
I am facing an propblem while openning the Interactive PDF. I created an interactive PDF in Adobe LiveCycle Designer v8.0.
The Adobe Reader was 8.1. The form was working well and after quite few days i am got this below message, but the same form was openning well in other systems with adobe reader 9.1 and i updated the reader with 9.1 in my system aslo and i am still getting this message. What would be the problem and kinldy provide a solution for this.
"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document."

1. Check your Authorization
2. Are you using some other language in adobe form
3. Ask Your Basis team to restart the Server
4. Check if any upgrade needed for your Adobe reader
5. Increase the Virtual Memory of you are System.

Problems showing an ADObe Form (Eternal Initializing Message)

   I have an adobe form that is called from an ECC Report.... by a link.... when the form is opening i get a message "Initializing" and the form is never showed....
    I put in the url parameters j_user=ADSUser&j_password=mypassword and the form is showed perfectly...
   I checked .. the ADS Configuration.. and all is correct... .with all and tests...

Error while opening Adobe Form Builder

Hi all,
I am trying to open an existing form in Adobe Form builder (TA SFP).
When ever I display a standard form say FP_TEST_01 and go to the layout tab, I get an error saying Error occurred in communication with layout editor. I am using ECC 5.0 system.
Am I missing any configurations?
We have all the required configurations set as mentioned in Configuration guide. (Required for ABAP stack).
Please help me out.

Or go to http://service.sap.com/download > Download > SPs and Patches > Search for SPs and Patches > Enter 'Designer'. Install Designer 7.0 and the 7.0 patch (!).

I am having problem for activate adobe form in transaction.code SFP

Dear friends,
I am getting one dialogbox with error message when ever i activate adobe form in transaction code sfp.
ERROR is :
THis form refers to external files which where not found on this computer. please create a connection to the following folder so that these files can be found.

Browser page still open ,adobe form is closed

Hello ,
We are facing browser issue in Adobe Interactive forms.We are opening the form from a thirdparty portal and whenever we click on submit button the adobeform is closed but the browser is not getting closed.
Can someone suggest me where should i write the code to close te browser.Is it in Webdynpro,or thirdparty portal or in javascript.
We tried bothe the layouts i.e ZCI and ACFx.We are uisng Adobe 8.1 version.The Adobe is processed by Webdynpro for ABAP.
Please help me.

You can use an Exit Plug in Web Dynpro ABAP to close the browser window, but there is no tell what will happen if you call this functionality in another portal. The other portal could be running the WDA inside some frame and JavaScript access to the top frame might not be possible.

Problem with opening Adobe Photoshop

Hi I am having a problem opening Adobe Photoshop. I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 on my pc. The problem is I open up Adobe Photoshop CS6 and a window come's up and is asking me to pay $29.99. And I already paid for a 1 year membership already. And now Adobe Photoshop CS6 does not work anymore. Does anyone know why this happens. And how to fix this problem?

our developers are getting more and more problems when they try to activate an adobe forms object in SAP.
When they click on the activate icon, SAP freezes – and after 3-4 minutes of waiting, SAP displays, that e.g. 105.570 bytes were transferred, but the document remains inactive.
So by now they need about 5 attempts before it finally gets activated…this is very time consuming and frustrating.
Does anybody know a solution to this problem?
Any ideas?

Database Buffering problem in Interactive Adobe Forms

Hi All,
In our project, there is one interactive adobe form developed to create/update lead data. The lead data from Adobe Form is read using custom class and method of the same class updates the lead. (BOL programming is used to update and create lead. Also, all the Save and Commit statements are used properly).
There is no problem in creating the lead using interactive Adobe Forms. But, when the same lead is updated in the same session using the same adobe form, due to some database buffering issue, system tries to insert duplicate records in CRM_LEAD_H table which is causing error dump - SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC. This dump occurs in update function module CRM_LEAD_H_UPDATE_DU.
If we logged off from the session, the database buffer gets refreshed and lead is updated successfully.
Is there any method/function module to refresh DB buffer before calling the adobe form?

Few fields have reference to table XBT. But when I see this in SE 11, such a table is not existing at all.
Can any of you share some ideas or clues?

Open form builder.
Make connection with database.
Now open the form.
Hope this works..
