But on Unix machine it is not working. And I am using the proxy which is DNS/hostname of the unix machine.Don't you mean the DNS/hostname of the proxy?

  • Reading WebDAV Content from ABAP

    Hello,
    I like to read WebDAV Content from SAP NetWeaver Portal KM with ABAP.
    For writing Content with WebDAV I found this post:
    A small working example of how to use the Abap webdav client to write files
    With Method GET_CONTENT from CL_SWDCL_NAMESPACE_CLIENT I can read single files, but what I need is a list with files and folders for a given path.
    I also tried to use the Interface IF_SWDCL_BASIC_SEARCH_CLIENT, but I only get HTML-Errorcodes 400 or 422 since I don't know which parameters I need.
    Maybe there is someone here who can help me to solve this problem.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    I face the same problem, did you already find a solution you can share?
    Thanks in advance

  • Encoding problem while reading binary data from MQ-series

    Dear all,
    we are running on 7.0 and we have an encoding problem while reading binary data from MQ-series. Because we are getting flat strings from queue we use module "Plain2ML" (MessageTransformBean) for wrapping xml-elements around the incoming data.
    The MQ-Series-Server is using CCSID 850, which we configured in connection parameters in communication channel (both parameters for Queuemanager CCSID and also CCSID of target).If there are special characters in the message (which HEX-values differ from codepage to codepage) we get errors in our adapter while executing, please see stack-trace for further analysis below.
    It seems to us that
    1. method ByteToCharUTF8.convert() expects UTF-8 in binary data
    2. Both CCSID parameters are not used anyway in JMS-adapter
    How can we solve this problem without changing anything on MQ-site?
    Here is the stack-trace:

    Kind regards, Stefan

    Hi Stefan,
    for the first MTB now we are using only one parameter: Transform.ContentType = text/plain;charset="ISO-8859-1"
    The second MTB, which does the XML-Wrapping, is configured like this:
    Transform.Class = com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.Conversion
    Transform.ContentType = application/xml
    xml.conversionType = SimplePlain2XML
    xml.fieldNames = value
    xml.fieldSeparator = §%zulu§%
    xml.processFieldNames = fromConfiguration
    xml.structureTitle = payload
    Both CCSID configuration parameters from the "Source"-Tab we've set to 850.
    Now, we don't get an error anymore - sun.io.malformedInputException - , but, unfortunately, now special character conversion succeeded (we need an "ß" and we get an ISO-HEX-E1 -> á).  E1 is (different from ISO) an "ß" in 850.
    Any ideas?

    You need the Oracle JDBC driver jar (ojdbc14.jar) which you can download from Oracle or somewhere I believe....I can't remember where I got it. Anyway, google for the Oracle JDBC driver and you should find it.
    You will probably need to read up on JDBC as I can't believe you even did that before you realised you needed a driver to connect. Good luck.

    But it gave me error. like it exceeds array boundary...can someone expert help me out

    You should be aware that these kind of effort always involves certain amount of risk because the proper record format is not hundred percent guaranteed. So, make sure to use properly formatted file, or genuine database instead.

    Hi Experts
    I am facing a problem while  reading XML file from Aplication server  using open data set.

    The XML file contains the details from an IDOC number  ,  the expected output  is XML file giving  all the segments details in a single page and send the user in lotus note as an attachment, But in the  present  output  after opening the attachment  i am getting a single XML file  which contains most of the segments ,but in the bottom part it is giving  the below error .

  • Problem in reading the FROM_TIME from CRMD_SCHEDLIN

    HI ,
    I have problem in reading the dates from the table CRMD_SCHEDLIN .
    what I have noticed is that if the date is stored  as 2004.11.14 23:00:00 then in the display of the sales order Tx-CRMD_BUS2000115 the date is shown as one plus the date stored ie  in this case the date will be shown as 2004.11.15  but in some cases it is shown as same .
    So I am not able make a clear distinction when to show this date as stored and when to add one more to this date while showing the dates for each items.
    It would be nice if some one can advise me on some FM  which can read these dates correctly as shown in the TX CRMD_BUS2000115.
    Thanks  in advance .
    Regards,
    Ankur

    Hello Ankur,
    If you make a 'where used list' on this function, you will see that this parameter is never used in the standard. You will always see something like :
    CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_SCHEDLIN_CONVERT_TZTF_IO'
    EXPORTING
    IV_FROM_TIME     = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-FROM_TIME
    IV_FROM_TIMEZONE = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-FROM_TIMEZONE
    IV_TO_TIME       = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-TO_TIME
    IV_TO_TIMEZONE   = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-TO_TIMEZONE
    IMPORTING
    EV_FROM_IO       = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-FROM_TIME_IO
    EV_TO_IO         = LS_SCHEDLIN_WRK-TO_TIME_IO.
    So I think you can do the same.

    Frédéric

    Getting Attachments
    Getting attachments out of your messages is a little more involved then sending them, as MIME has no simple notion of attachments. The content of your message is a Multipart object when it has attachments. You then need to process each Part, to get the main content and the attachment(s). Parts marked with a disposition of Part.ATTACHMENT from part.getDisposition() are clearly attachments. However, attachments can also come across with no disposition (and a non-text MIME type) or a disposition of Part.INLINE. When the disposition is either Part.ATTACHMENT or Part.INLINE, you can save off the content for that message part. Just get the original filename with getFileName() and the input stream with getInputStream().
    Multipart mp = (Multipart)message.getContent();
    for (int i=0, n=multipart.getCount(); i<n; i++) {
    Part part = multipart.getBodyPart(i));
    String disposition = part.getDisposition();
    if ((disposition != null) &&
    ((disposition.equals(Part.ATTACHMENT) ||
    (disposition.equals(Part.INLINE))) {
    saveFile(part.getFileName(), part.getInputStream());
    The saveFile() method just creates a File from the filename, reads the bytes from the input stream, and writes them off to the file. In case the file already exists, a number is added to the end of the filename until one is found that doesn't exist.
    // from saveFile()
    File file = new File(filename);
    for (int i=0; file.exists(); i++) {
    file = new File(filename+i);
    The code above covers the simplest case where message parts are flagged appropriately. To cover all cases, handle when the disposition is null and get the MIME type of the part to handle accordingly.
    if (disposition == null) {
    // Check if plain
    MimeBodyPart mbp = (MimeBodyPart)part;
    if (mbp.isMimeType("text/plain")) {
    // Handle plain
    } else {
    // Special non-attachment cases here of
    // image/gif, text/html, ...

  • How to read the content from a External Content Type with out creating External List in Sharepoint 2013?

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to read the External Content Type and storing the Data in a Session Variable. The Reading of the content from External Content Type with out creating a External List.
    Please help I am trying to find the solution, but unable to do that.
    Thanks,
    Pradeep

    Hi,
    Firstly an external content type designed to work with SharePoint list and there is no way to read apart from this.
    If you are looking the solution out of the " Business Connectivity" then find that data source has been exposed through WCF and  Web Service ?
    So you can use REST API and CSOM to consume those data in SharePoint.
    You can also leverage the ADO.NET option if the datasources based on MS technologies.
