Problem in updating Last Name, First Name in BP

Hi All,
I'm having problem with different employee names appearing in CRM and in HR GUI. I already ran manually PFAL for the said employee and still I can't have the employee's last & first name been updated. The employee status is already withdrawn. Was withdrawn employee supposed not to get updated its information through PFAL?Is there anyway I can still update the said information even the employee status is withdrawn?

Update last name - "Your account settings could not be saved."

I'd like to update my last name (married) and my email address. However, I get an error message "Your account settings could not be saved". No further explanation or required field, cause, or logic. Please explain further. Also, when attempting to change email, "Resend validation" does nothing.

Try another browser. Also sign out of your local CC apps. As long as you are signed in, certain types of information cannot be changed since changing them on the server database may invalidate your sign-in. If it still doesn't work contact support by web chat.

Bluetooth problem after update last ics .587 mini pro!

sony what happened with your last update?after i update to ics with pc companion when i turn on bluetooth my phone restart boot after xperia logo restart again to sony logo, again and again... please fix that last update.

Have you tried to run the phone in safe mode to see if it keeps appearing then?You can start it in safe mode by turning the phone off and then press and hold the on/off-key and at the same time continuously tap the menu key (the one to the right below the screen with the for lines). It might take a couple of tries before you succeed with getting the phone into safe mode, so have patience. What do you think about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I think its meant to show your name, not your ID.

Problems with envelope-printing in Address Book: First and Last names

New entries I make in Address Book are printing incorrectly, with Last name then First name. Most of my older entries print correctly as First name then Last name (though oddly I have a small batch of entries I imported ages ago which have always exhibited the same transposition problem).
I have prefs set to display entries by Last name. Problem entries WILL print correctly if I change this to 'display by First name'. (older entries print correctly regardless of 'display by..' pref).
I'm having the same problem if I create a new account, which made me suspect the app was corrupted, but not helped by deleting app and re-installing from Tiger DVD then running combo updater.

However, it doesn't make sense for the LIST display-order to swap the first-and-last names on an ENVELOPE. Secondly, most of my entries DO print correctly: it's only NEW entries that transpose the first and last names.

After installing some updates on final cut pro 7 is asking me to enter my first and last names plus serial number which i dont have. how do i go about this?

To add to what BenB advised, make sure you have proof of purchase when you call Apple for a replacement serial number.
For future reference, it is a good idea to keep all software serial numbers in a database or text document. Considering the cost of the software, keeping a list of serial numbers can come in very handy at times like this.

Address book. First & last names order problem

Hi all, I'm having an issue with address book names not appearing in the right order, or more to the point first and last names not appearing in the right order - in fact it's exactly the same as:

However that solution doesn't work.
Essentially, when I go into address book / prefs and click sort by firstname/lastname - the list updates, but when I click 'before last name' / 'following last name' nothing happens at all. The list is ordered by first name - as I want it, but I'm still getting the surname first.
This has transferred over to my Touch as well so it's very frustrating! any ideas?

You want the first name first.
Investigate this.
Close Address Book
Open the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist with Property List editor which comes with XCode.
Look for the entry
*ABNameDisplay Number 1*
and change the 1 to 0 (zero)
and save. This sets the name order to 'Before last name'
If you don't have Xcode it might be on your Install DVD.

Hi,
Contact Person is a kind of Business Partner. You can use the Function Module
BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE to change the BP. You can change the Personal Data of the BP with this function module. For address change you can use the FM BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_CHANGE. Call the FM BAPI_BUPA_ADDRESS_GETDETAIL to get the details of the BP.

Problem with Calendar and drag and drop a name to a Time spot with palm desktop. Full name does not appear only last name.

Im having a problem with the palm desktop. When in “Contacts” and I list (LastName,First name) and then I move to the Calendar and drag and drop a name to a Time spot Only the LAST name of the Person appears. How can I fix this so that I can see there full name ?
Also when If list (Company,Last Name) then go to calendar Some of my contacts are out of order but if I drag and drop them into the calendar day the full name appears. Is there any why of fixing this ? Or having it work properly ?

Any Idea how to fix the problem that I am getting when using the (Company,Last Name) and the contacts being out of order in the calander ? I have some last names starting with A then it goes to D then a B then a stack more A and none of then have a Company field filled out in them in them...
Thanks for looking into that for me but it seems really stange to offer the option but not put in the first name in the calander when you drage the name over. I hope this is fixed in the future. Can anyony sugest another desktop platform I can use if I cant fix my problem with the (Company,Last Name) problem?

Curiously, the most recently inputted entries do sort properly, as do all company entries.
Does that mean "most recently inputted" AFTER you upgraded to Snow Leopard?
If that is true, it would mean that something about your existing records before the upgrade, for the records that are people contacts (with first and last names) instead of business contacts, do not agree with Snow Leopard and/or Snow Leopard's version of Address Book.
This may not be feasible, but if you exported the records with this problems and then imported them, maybe they will be re-inputted so that are properly sorted.
If you use Time Machine, maybe you can use the +flying through space+ interface to restore one of the records with this problem to see if the restore process makes the record sort properly.

Lack of First and Last Name Reversal in Address Book

I just got a new iMac and transferred the contents of my old eMac running on OS 10.3---(latest) using the Mac transfer system. Problem: in the address book most of the cards do not respond to the Preference setting for First or Last name first. Some do, they toggle back and forth as I change the setting, but most stay unchanged with the Last name first. All respond properly to changes in the sort setting.

I know the phones only have a single Name field, but there is such an option to change the sort order and display! Did you look in the menu I listed?
I've just tried it with 5 Sony Ericsson phones I have with me here (W610, K800, K510, Z610 & W200) and that I use iSync with on a daily basis and the option is there and it works perfectly.
It's in the W810 manual on Page 62:

Indexing names in InDesign 5.5, swapping first name and last name

I'm trying to index a bunch of names in a programme, but the problem I'm having is that the names listed in the body of the programme are in first name last name order. Like:
John Doe, Jane Doe, Ben Long...
And these index to be like
John Doe..123, 123
Jane Doe..123, 123
Ben Long..123, 123
But I need the index to be formatted differently, last name, first name. Like
Doe, John..123, 123
Doe, Jane..123, 123
Long, Ben...123, 123
Is there any way that I can index them as first name last name, but have them appear on the index as last name, first name?
I'm using CS5.5 on a mac

I see that adds just the one instance of it, by chance is there a shortcut that I can use to add all instances of that, like the "Add All" button when adding an entry using the dialog box.

Contacts display first name, last name, except if there's email address then contact info is deleted (?) and email is displayed in contact list.

Confused on these procedures to post.
My contacts should list first name last name, however any contact with an email has info phone numbers and addresses deleted and the email address is displayed in contact list. I know how to change to last name first name but that doesn't help... Any suggestions? Should I delete all contacts and reacquire all through icloud? How?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
