Problem in Using XSLT

I am facing a problem while using XSLT. The Problem is that I have a Structue and corresponding internal table defined as follows.
     TYPES:BEGIN OF X1,
        TW(4)        TYPE  c,
        TX           TYPE  int1,
        TY(1)        TYPE  c,
        TZ(32)       TYPE  X,
        TV(32)       TYPE  C,
        A TYPE CHAR32,
        B TYPE CHAR32,
        C TYPE CHAR32,
        D TYPE CHAR10,
        E TYPE INT4,
      END OF X1.
      DATA:INT_TABLE     TYPE TABLE OF X1.
Now When I am Transforming this into XML using XSLT the attributes are being sorted on the field names as follows.

Is there any way for getting the attributes in the same order as we specify in the Types declaration. Please kindly help in solving this.

Problem in transforming XML to string using XSLT

Hi there,
I have a R/3 -> XI -> WebService scenario where the message from XI to webservice needs to be sent in document/wrapped mode (the message xml must be embedded in a string element) and this message needs to be digitally signed.
We are using another webservice to sign the messages, also with the message being sent in a string. To transform the XML's into string and vice-versa, we are using XSLT (/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/01/xi-xml-node-into-a-string-with-graphical-mapping).
The problem is that both the signer and the final webservice understand the special characters (like '<', '>', '&', '"' etc) in one way but the XSLT generates them in another way. For example, the character '<', in both webservices, is returned as "<" but the XSL Transformation results in "<".
The problem now is that our messages are always being rejected because the signature is not being recognized as true, though we are almost 100% sure that it's being done correctly. The only possibility to the error that we found is this character mapping being done differently.
So, it's like this:
XI sends string to signer as "<"
XI receives string from signer as "<"
XI processes the message
XI sends string to webservice as "<"
XI receives string from webservice (containing error message) as "<"
Is there a way of making the XSLT to return "<" instead of "<"?

In Java Mapping, in the startdocument event , you need to check for the specialchars, and just repalce the value required.
But, what i am thinking is , just try with Java functions inside the XSLT mapping instead of going for Java Mapping. You can call java functions from the XSLT. So before the document starts pasring, you need to replace the special characters. I did not try in XSLT like this.

How to update XML file using XSLT

Hi there,
I have a "small" issue with exporting data to an XML file using XSLT.
A two steps process is needed to import data from a non-hierarchical XML file into ABAP, change the data, and then update the XML file with new values. The problem is not trivial, since the format of the XML file is a complex one: there are many interdependent elements on the same level, pointing to each other by using id and ref attributes. Based on these values the data can be read and written into an internal table. I use XSLT and XPath for that. So the inbound process is done and seems to work correctly. I have to mention that the file contains much more data than I need. I am working only with a small part of it.
Now the changed data must be exported back into the XML file, meaning that the content of certain elements must be updated. How can this be done with XSLT? I can pass only the internal table to the transformation, so how do I access the XML file in order to update it? I have tried to use the <B>xsl:document()</B> function to access the content of the file store locally on my PC, but it fails each time by throwing and URI exception. I have tried the absolute path without any addition and the path with the file:/// addition. Same result. Please advise.

   ROOT   = ROOT
l_xml->set_attribute(
    name    = 'Name'

    node    = node
(the above example reads the element IDENTITY and sets attribute name/value to the same)
like wise you can add new elements starting from IDENTITY using various methods available in class CL_XML_DOCUMENT
so how do I access the XML file in order to update it?

Lookup in Xi using XSLT with Java enhancement "Error"

I need your advice urgently.
I have done message mapping using XSLT mapping with Java enhancement.
I included the code for SAP DB connection to read from the table.
I imported both the sapdbc-7_6_00_30_5567 Driver.jar and my custom jar into imported archives.
I used the java functions in my XSLT to get the lookup value.
The code was working correctly in NWDS, but when i tried to execute the scenario, it gave me 'SYSTEM ERROR'

TransfromerException during XSLT processing:

Hi,
Thanks to all who replied.
I solved the problem.
I was calling the java method from XSLT without passing any arguement.
I realised that the java methods called from XSLT should always have input parameter. So i changed the javamethod call from
public static String getCurrentRecNo() to public static String getCurrentRecNo(Object test)
and it worked.
Can anybody explain me why java methods called from XSLT should always have an input arguement.

I have a scenario in which i have to do a N:1 mapping using XSLT.
I am doing this using the BpmPatternCollectMultiIf giving the XSLT mapping in the transformation step...
But, the transformation step is returning the following error:

the same problem persists.
I tested the same input and xslt mapping for a table which does not have auto-increment primary key through trigger,it works perfectly fine.
but the same fails when i have a table with auto-increment primary key named 'id' which is inserted as per below sql:

BEFORE INSERT ON TESTATBLE1
FOR EACH ROW
BEGIN
SELECT test_seq.NEXTVAL

is it a really a limitation with soa db adapter or i am doing it wrong.

Facebook network in GraphML format (using XSLT)

hello,
facebook developer platform provides a java api that allows us to extract friends list into java List of friends ids.
my goal is to find a way to format facebook friends list data into GraphML format.this graphml file will be used to draw a Graph .
I think using XSLT is the best solution to produce this graphml format.
my xslt skills are very basic , so i need help to write a xslt style sheet file that takes as input the xml list of facebook friends ids and produce as output the graphml file of this friends facebook list.
i would also appreciate any other suggestion to solve above described problem.

I have a simple looking but complex problem
I have a XML file like this

My result XML should look like this

I tried things but they never worked.

You can use XSLT. Between, where do you want to get the ID values of the place tag in result xml.

Yes, your last code was perfect. My Client understood everything fine (in some cases Graphic Mapping is not the only solution for all problems, in some cases we can use XSLT or Java Mapping). Right now we are trying to compare instructions in Java Mapping vs. XSLT, next The Client will take the final desicion or use Java Mapping or use XSLT.
Now I need to build another code, in this case I need to obtain the Tag Name and build code using if ... and else, or several cases using when.

StreamClosed in Tomcat5.0 using xslt, urgent!

i have a problem using xslt and Tomcat. Everytime im reloading jsp-page and xslt im getting Streamclosed error.

the output should be a wml file.. but in nokia 5100 sdk i get the same error as in IE and it doesnt matter if i reload or access the site one more time.... every second time i get an error that says
exception:
javax.servlet.ServletException: java.io.IOException: Stream closed
error cause:

Problem on using Crystal Report Viewer on windows application ("specified type is not valid ")

I am having problem on using Crystal Report Viewer on one of my windows application.
I am not sure how to put the Crystal Report Viewer 11 Control onto the tool box.
I could found a Crystal Report Viewer control on my computer, but it is version 8.5.
I have also found another one which is Called Crytal ActiveX Report Viewer, i don't think it is the one I can use. As when I try to load a dummy report on to the Crytal ActiveX Report Viewer, It return an error. "specified type is not valid"
Please see the Code sample below.

VS 2005 Standard and Express editions do not come with Crystal Reports; only the Professional and higher editions will have CR bundled. However, I believe you can purchase CR XI R2 Developer and it will give you the components you need to create a VS .NET 2005 application using the Standard edition.

How to Count schedule lines in IDoc ORDERS05 using XSLT Mapping

Hi Experts,
In a Scenario where we are sending Purchase order (ORDERS05) to SAP SNC using XSLT Mapping,
where in we need to count the no. of schedule lines against the Purchase Order line.
As in Schedule line segment there is no such provision, so it needs to be handle in XSLT mapping to count the schedule lines.
Can you all please guide me how to go about the same.

as there is only Quantity and other information is maintained against schedule lines how we can count the schedule line repeatation against PO line ? Is that very simple as you suggested or some other consideration also needs to be taken.

Problem in using FM SELECT_TEXT

I have a problem in using fm SELECT_TEXT.
Here I want to fetch Material PO text in Material master to my report.
I just dont know in which field of table "it_thead" the actual text is available.\
I tried debugging the program but was not successful.
I have also tried using READ_TEXT but it gives an error if no Text exists.
