Problem inserting a table with Dreamweaver

Hello,
I have been using Dreamweaver for about a year and 6 months
now, but this morning come across the following problem.
I go to insert a table, but when I click ok, it comes up with
this error -
C:\users\jamie\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\DreamweaverMX\Confiuration\Objects\Common\Table. htm
I am unsure of what the problem is, so i'm unable to find a
solution.
If anyone has come across the same problem, or knows a
solution, I would really appreciate it.
Many thanks,
Jamie

What does the error message say?
You are using DMX - is it 6.0 or 6.1? And you are running it
on Vista? You
know that DMX is not supported on Vista, right?

  • How to insert a table with variable rows in smart form

    Hi all,
    How to insert a table with variable rows in smart form?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mahesh.

    Hi,
    Right click the mouse->create->table
    If you want 5 columns, you need to declare 5 cells in one line type of the table
    Click on Table -> Details, then do the following
    Line Type 1 2 3 4 5
    L1 2mm 3mm etc
    Here specify the width of the columns as many as you want..
    then in the header/main area of the table, click create Table Line, Rowtype is L1, automatically 5 cells will come,In each cell create a text element, display the variable to be printed there.

    You should report this in a service request on http://metalink.oracle.com.
    It is a shame that you put all the effort here to describe your problem, but on the other hand you can now also copy & paste the question to Oracle Support.
    Because you are using 10.2.0.3; I am guessing that you have a valid service contract...

  • Multi insert on table with checkbox list

    Hi all,
    I've a problem perhaps it's a small one but I need to do an insert on a table with with the use of a checkbox, however the checkbox retrieves multiple values.
    Which I've tried to insert with a loop in the pl/sql block.
    How exactly can I do that using bind variables ? Can I get an example, please?
    using Apex 4.0
    kind regards,
    Cleo

    Hi,
    what are you trying to do ? Are you inserting a line only a checkbox is checked, or are your trying to save the values of a group of checkboxes ?
    I got an example for deleting a line with a checked checkbox :
    In your process
    DECLARE
       va_val APEX_APPLICATION_GLOBAL.vc_arr2;
    BEGIN
      va_val := APEX_UTIL.string_to_table(:P20_PARAMETRES, ',');
    FOR i IN 1..va_val.count LOOP
        DELETE MY_TABLE WHERE ID = va_val(i);
    END LOOP;
    :P20_PARAMETRES := '';
    END;In your page header (javascript)
    function delete(){
       if(confirm('Do you really want to delete the checked options ?')){
       var param = document.getElementById('P20_PARAMETRES');
       var root = 'f20_';
       var i = 1;
       var id;
       do{
         id = root + i;
         obj = document.getElementById(id);
         if((obj != undefined) && (obj != null)){
            if(obj.checked == true){
               if (param.value == ''){
                 param.value = obj.value;
               } else {
                 param.value = param.value + ',' + obj.value;
       i++;
       }while((document.getElementById(id) != undefined) && (document.getElementById(id) != null));
    doSubmit('BTN_DELETE');
    }In your report your column must be something like this:
    apex_item.checkbox (20,
                               a.id,
                               NULL,
                               NULL,
                               'f20_' || '#ROWNUM#'
                              ) delete_checkboxThat way I delete only those who has been checked. You can do that or try
    FOR i in 1..APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01.COUNT LOOP
    END LOOP;But I'm not sure how you notice those who are checked or not that way.. If I remember clearly, it only store those who are checked...

  • Problem inserting into tables

    Hello All, I hope that someone out there may be able to shed some light on my problem!!
    I have developed a series of JSP pages for my web site (using Tomcat 4.1)to allow a Customer to register themselves with the site. I have developed 3 corresponding JavaBeans to hold the details that the customer enters; a Customer bean, an Address bean and a Payment bean. In my database (MySQL) i have tables corresponding to each of these beans, which simply take the data inserted into a field by the user and create a new instance of each.
    Now, the above is all working fine and the database tables populate themselves exactly as they should; however, to allow a customer to add more than one address, or more than one payment method, I have developed the relationship tables 'hasaddress' and 'haspaymentdetails' to store the relevant id numbers in the database (i.e. hasaddress stores a customerid from the customer bean and an addressid from the address bean).
    Finally, i get round to my question!!..
    I am using the following jsp code to insert data into one such table:
    <------------------------------------------------------------------->
    <jsp:useBean id="registration" class="projectBeans.RegistrationBean" scope="session"/>
    //set the connection
    registration.setConnection(c);
    //retrieve the customer attribute
    projectBeans.Customer customer = (projectBeans.Customer)session.getAttribute("newCust");
    //retrieve the address attribute
    projectBeans.AddressBean address = (projectBeans.AddressBean)session.getAttribute("newAddr");
    //use the addCustomer method in the bean to create a new customer
    registration.addCustomer(customer);
    //ditto for address
    registration.addAddressDetails(address);
    //populate the hasaddress table with the correct ids
    String table = "hasaddress";
    int customerid = customer.getCustomerId();
    int addressid = address.getAddressId();
    registration.updateRelationship(table, customerid, addressid);Both the addCustomer and addAddressDetail methods work fine, so below is just the code for updateRelationship method in the registrationBean:
    public void updateRelationship(String table, int id1, int id2) throws SQLException
       sta = c.prepareStatement("INSERT INTO "+table +" VALUES(?,?)");
       sta.setInt(1, id1);
       sta.setInt(2, id2);
       sta.executeUpdate();
    }I would expect this method to retrieve the newly assigned customer and address ids and enter them into the hasaddress table; however, when the page compiles and i look at the table it enters 0 for each of the fields (when it should, for example be entering 14 and 16):
    ----------+
    | cid | aid |
    ----------+
    | 0 | 0 |
    ----------+
    so my question is: does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening, or what may be wrong with my code for this to occur?
    Alternatively, am i being dumb and is there some way of getting MySql to handle the updates to the relationship table internally?
    Thanks in advance for any ideas,
    Cheers

    Try to specify you database field as SQL need field names to do updating
    sta = c.prepareStatement("INSERT INTO "+table + "("+ id1+","+id2+ ")"+ VALUES(?,?)");

  • Help: Problem Inserting CLOB-data with ODBC

    Hello,
    I have searched this forum for my problem and found only one similar message, unfortunately without reply. I hope there are some wizards present here today who can help me.
    I use Perl and the ODBC driver for 8i (v8.1.5., WinNT) to insert and query data from a tabel with a CLOB. Queries go fine (although you have to increase the buffer size within Perl, but I have a problem to insert values into CLOBS.
    I get the message ORA-1704 shown below. Oracle/ODBC seems to think that i want to insert into a VARCHAR2(4000) instead of
    a CLOB.
    I have included my Perl test-script as well.
    Any suggestions are very welcome,

    Hi,
    We can't directly insert into a column
    which is a clob datatype.To insert data into
    the CLOB datatype column we have to write
    some PL/SQL progam using the package DBMS_LOB
    in oracle.
    Read Oracle documentation for more information on DBMS_LOB package.
    Hope this will help u.

  • Problem importing a table with blob's

    hi all, I'm facing the following situation.
    Source DB : 10.2.0.3 (client's DB)
    Destination DB (mine): 10.2.0.4
    I've a dump file (traditional) of a particular schema.
    I'm running import (imp) to import on my DB.
    It runs fine until it reaches one particular table. This table has 6 colums, 3 of them are BLOB.
    This table has 260000 rows (checked with export log).
    When import reaches row 152352 it stops loading data, but import is still running.
    what can I do to get more information from this situation in order to solve this problem?
    Any suggestion will be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance.

    Pl identify the source and target OS versions. Are there any useful messages in the alert.log ? How long did the export take ? Rule of thumb states import will take twice as long. Have you tried expdp/impdp instead ? Also see the following -

  • Sample insert into table with BLOB column

    This is my first opportunity to work with BLOB columns. I was wondering if anyone had some sample code that shows the loading of a blob column and inserted into the table with a blob column.
    I have to produce a report (including crlf) and place it into a blob column. The user will download the report at a later time.
    Any suggestions / code samples are greatly appreciated!!!!

    You can enable string binding in TopLink.
    login.useStringBinding(int size);
    or you could enable binding in general,
    login.bindAllParameters();

  • Problem creating Allocation Table with Reference to a PO

    Dear Folks,
    I am having problems creating an allocation table with reference to a PO in T-code WA01.
    I read the SAP help that some prerequisites need to exist:
    ==> You can only reference order items flagged as being relevant to a stock split (the Allocation table relevant indicator in the additional item data).
    Can anyone advice me where to find this stock split indicator?
    Also, can anyone advice me how to reuse an allocation table? For example, I had previously created an allocation table with many articles and various allocation rules. I already generated follow on documents for this table.
    Say after 2 weeks, I have the similar requirements that I can make use of the same table, only with minor adjustments to the quantity. How do I create a new allocation table using the existing allocation table data?
    Thanks and Regards
    Junwen

    Any idea please?
    thanks

  • Problem creating a table with a subquery and a dblink

    Hello!!
    I have a little problem. When I create a table with a subquery and a dblink, for example:
    CREATE TABLE EXAMPLE2 AS SELECT * FROM EXAMPLE1@DBLINK
    the table definition is changed. Fields with a type of CHAR or VARCHAR2 are created with a size three times bigger than the original table in the remote database. Field of type DATE and NUMBER are not changed. For example if the original table, in the database 1, has a field of type CHAR(1) it is create in the local database with a type of CHAR(3), and a VARCHAR2(5) field is created with VARCHAR2(15).
    Database 1 has a WE8DEC character set.
    Database 2 has a AL32UTF8 character set.
    Could it be related to the difference in character sets?
    What can I do to make Oracle use the same table definition when creating a table in this way?
    Thanks!!

    That is related to character sets, and probably necessary if you want all the data in the remote table to be able to fit in the new table.
    When you declare a column VARCHAR2(5), by default, you're allocating 5 bytes of storage. In a single-byte character set, which I believe WE8DEC is, that also happens to equate to 5 characters. In a multi-byte character set like AL32UTF8, though, 1 character may require up to 3 bytes of storage, so you'd need to allocate 15 bytes to store that data. That's what's going on here.
    You could still store all the data if you create the table locally by explicitly requesting 5 characters of storage by declaring the column VARCHAR2(5 CHAR). You could also set the NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS parameter to CHAR rather than BYTE before creating the table, but I believe that both of these will only apply when you're explicitly defining columns as part of your CREATE TABLE. I don't believe either will apply to CTAS statements.

  • Search and insert from table with RichTextInsertBehavior

    Hi OTN,
    I have a Rich Text Editor which is used to edit CLOB content.
    Near RTE I should have controls to insert special macros with a following scenario:
    I click "Insert Person Link" button - a popup with search through Employees by name appears.
    I choose a person, click OK and a macro like "\[A_PERSON(123)\]" is inserted into RTE field, where 123 is a Metaterm field of selected employee.
    Please, advise me how should I organize this kind of search and insertion? What's the best way, what components should I use?
    Right now I'm using Query with table component.
    But I'm a little stuck with Value field of RichTextEditorInsertBehavior. It should be like "\[A_PERSON(<table.selectedRow.metatermField>)\]"
    How do I choose it? Or is there a totally better way with, say, InputListOfValue component or smth.
    JDev 11.1.1.1.0
    Thanks.

  • EEWB: Insert New Table with more than one key field  for BP object

    Hi Gurus,
    I want to enhance Business Partner object with a new table with two key fields, one the address number and another a sequence number, because I need to save several entries for each address belonging to a determined business partner. Something as what happens in communication data (i.e fax number)for an address.
    I have run the wizard from EEWB but the only possibility that offers you is to create only one key field for the new custom table. There is something in EEWB to achieve this, two key fields for the new table?
    Another question is the following: which Badi or BAPI must I enhance to populate my table with the corresponding address number to which the data belong to?
    I mean my custom data are filled through a table control that I have allocated within the screen sequence BUA130 (Detail Address). Thus, when a new address is added to a BP and my particular table control is populated within this address I should fill the key fields from my table (address number and sequence number) when the BP were saved. So, I must know beforehand which address number the system will assign to this new address.
    I repeat the question: which Badi or BAPI must I enhance to populate my table with the corresponding address number to which the data belong to?
    Thanks in Advance.

    If you're seeing an 'x' instead of your photo in the data source it's possible that Project Siena can't access the directory.  Try saving your images in another folder such as C:\Users\Public\Pictures.
