Hi everybody,
I got the error message.
Cannot update rows in data object /Samples/Monitor Express/BI_default_Project1_Process1.java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
Please advise!!!!

Are you using alterts related to that data object?
Do you have any open report that uses that data object?

Why would the date ever be null? As long as the date has a non-zero, non-null value this function will work correctly.
I'm a little confused by what you are doing here. So, you are pulling data from a table, and populating forms with it. This particular field is a date field, and the problem is that when the data for that field is a null, you are getting instead a date of 1970-01-01 displayed in that field - is that correct? What do you want to appear there when the data is null? Nothing?

Problem during Add row in View Object : View Row of Key Not found

Hello,
I'm facing this problem during insert of new row in the view object. I'm having 2 entities that belong to the same DB table (I need this because one is required with the composition assoc and the other one without it).
I have three tables, COMPANY, USERS and PRIVILEGES.
Company (1) to USERS (N)
USERS (1) to PRIVILGES (N)
While adding users for a specific company , i get this error msg.
P.S: I'm not getting this error, if i add company, then user. Only if i directly add users i'm getting this error.

as my vo are based on procedure, i know that i can't update the table using them.
i only wanted to insert the rows in the vo and show it to user (only for selection purpose).
Now my problem is sorted as i have changed the code like this-
Row new_row=vo1.createRow();
new_row.setAttribute(index,vo2.getAttribute(index)) ;
vo1.insertRow(new_row);
Earlier i was only inserting a new row, without creating any row.

Problem while updating the domain data of CMS

Hi
I am trying configuring the Chage Management Service. When i am clicking on the "update CMS" button which is under CMS > Landscape Configuratore > Domain Data i am getting the following error...
"Unexpected error; inform your system administrator: No object found exception"

Subversion problem when updating large set of objects

I have an entire project managed in subversion.
The project consist in few db diagrams and 5000 offline database objects.
I check out the project and got a working copy.
I do some changes and commit them without any problems.
We decided to reload (refresh, regenerate( all our offline database objects to create a new revision with a complete database layer up to date (some changes was done outside the scope our project that is managed with subversion).
Regenerating the offline database object was not a problem. All files was updated. The pending changes list was updated also.
I saved all files and the outgoing tab start to increment, I'm waiting since 5 hours now the process to finish, is it normal ?

How to update row when data contains single quote ?

Please see this query:
update query_tab set title='It's common knowledg' where
id='1121';I have this update query coming from .NET, but abviously this is error since single quote in the text (title column) given by user gives wrong meaning to sql parser. So, how to solve this problem ?

To include a single-quote in a string literal, use two of them in a row:
update      query_tab
set      title     = 'It''s common knowledge'
where      id     = '1121';The method above works in any version of Oracle.
Starting in Oracle 10, you can also use Q-notation, like this:
update      query_tab
set      title     = Q'[It's common knowledge]'

Problem while update and insert data in table

I have problem while save line data....
I have an advance table.I take remove and duplicate line in message choice of advance table action layout.
Also there is one temp table to save Po number data which is populated in advance table according to PO Number search.And In Temp table record number is column which use
to insert and update data in temp table which mention in procedure
Problem is that : When i Searched PO Number and duplicate line and save that record it insert a new line always and it insert record according to duplicate line no .It not update previous line,insert new line always according to duplicate line no.
Please tell me what is solution?

Problem in updating the partners data for sales order

hi all..
am using bapi_salesorder_createfromdat2 to create salesorder..
in the bapi am passing the partners data as follows..
partner-partn_role = 'ZD'.
partner-partn_numb = <cust.no.>
partner-itm_number = <item no.>
after that..,the sales order is created succesfully .but now the problem is the partner data as shown above is not updated successfully in the item level details of sales order..
is there any way to fix it ?
please help me with the possible alternatives.

Problem to update two different data targets from same DSO using DTP

Hi All,
I am trying to upload data from standard DSO 0FIA_DS11 to DSOs 0FIA_DS12 and 0FIA_DS13 using DTP.
I run DTP 0FIA_DS11 -> 0FIA_DS12 and all data is updated on target, but when I run DTP 0FIA_DS11 -> 0FIA_DS13 job stops at data source extraction, endless.
Is there something I missing with new 7.0 approach?
Could someone help me with this problem?!

I'm loading cumulative/planned transactions from 0FI_AA_11 to 0FIA_DS11 just filtering by depreciation area on data package. Data is being successfully load and activated into this data provider.
From 0FIA_DS11 to 0FIA_DS12 I am loading data without filtering and load is finishing successfully.
From 0FIA_DS11 to 0FIA_DS13 I am not using any filter on DTP. I'm removing data with transaction type 'PLN' into start routine, but load is not even achieving this point. It stops during data source extraction.
Any more ideas?

Item Cost Is not Updated when using Data Object OinventoryGenEntry in DTW

Hello Everyone,
I'm using data transfer workbench (OInventoryGenEntry) to send the production to sap-bo. All The info that I entered in the layouts Documents.csv and Document_Lines.csv are correctly loaded, except the info related to the field "price". Do you know what changes should I apply to the layouts in order to make the DTW transfer the Item Price?

Thank You Vincent. It works for finish goods that currently have cost in the sap-bo (taking std or avg) . Do you what should I do when the item is receiving the first-transation and it is an inventory entry coming from DTW ? Because when I test this conditions, the field "price" is ignored and when I check the inventory entry sent using dtw the recorded cost is "cero".

I don't know why the sudden error comes up. Did anything change in your configuration between when it was working and now?
As for a workaround, please see the PDK-March (now available) for a more up to date version of the Exchange portlets. This version should get around this error.

Update row with more data - JTable with Abstracttablemodel

Hello!
I got some problems with my program, im using jtable with abstracttablemodel.
First I include content into the jtable by pressing ”New Content”, then it will pop up a dialog which I fill with information as you can see in the picture.

But when its done, I want to borrow it and update that row with more information as you can see if its loaned, if it is their shall be a checkbox, name and phone there. I don’t really know how to do this. Suppose I should do a similar metodh as when I’m adding and removing content. The question is how do I do that? I’ve been looking at some tips and hints on google. It seems to me that should use “fireTableRowsUpdated” but not really sure if its right and how to. When I’m borrowing the specific row I guess I need to check which row is clicked before borrowing and then fill in the information and update the table.The borrow button will also pop up a dialog with 3 fields to fill. Here is the code I wrote for adding and removing. I’ve tried with the update but its not right which I’m going to use when borrowing objects from the database. Please help!
