Problem Posting an Event to the EventQueue

Hi all,
while i develop a java application i get problem posting ana event to the EventQueue using postEvent method.Here is the problem.i have a menu which have 3 menu items (Load, store, hide).i want when the user click "hide" the code in "store" option excuted plus extra code in option "hide".i tried to implement this using the postEvent of EventQueue. i simlate this by tring to post ActionEvent to simulate user cliks option "store" but this didn't work. can anyone tell me what's the problem.thanks

try JMenuItem's doClick(). that simulates the user clicking on your menu item.

I want to debug who has put some event in the EventQueue. I tried to create my own EventQueue (DebugEventQueue) and override postEvent and dispatchEvent. But all I see is, that postEvent is never called, and dispatchEvent has a stack trace like:

Sounds weird, are you sure you overridden postEvent correctly? Mind posting its code here?

Problem of getting event in the jTabbedPane

Hi,
I have problem to do a jTextField.setText(), or jTextField.getText() from a jTabbedPane.
I create a jTabbedPane and have 7 jPanel in it. For the fifth jPanel, all jTextField in there works normally, but for the 6th and 7th one, all jTextField in there doesn't work.
When I call getText(), I can alwys get "", and when I call setText(), I cannot see any update in the jTextField, even I can know that the content is actually changed. However, I can still capture the event on this 6th and 7th panel.

There seem to be quite a lot of quotes in the example above.
My guess is that it works in the manual login because the shell does concatenate some of the escape characters.
In a Java program, you should not need that amount of escaping...

, it says that Cannot send non-TextMessage to Queue which accepts only xml. how
can i send a Xmlobjct from my application to a Jms Queue.

In iphoto, when I go to events on the top bar, all the options come up in grey so I can't create a new event. I did one a while ago but ever since, have had this problem. Anyone got a solution or know why this happened?

Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

In my current iMovie project clips now cannot be dragged from an event to the project. They play fine in the event but when dragged to the project they go blank. - even clips I have already used with no problems!

Clips go blank when I drag them from an event to the project itself. The clips are still intact in the event.
I have tested creating a new project and different clips but the error recurs - now I can't add anyclips at all to any projects,

Trashing iMovie's preference file may fix this problem.
Go to your Home folder <your user name>/Library/Preferences (not the Library folder at the top level in Macintosh HD). Similar to Lion, on Mountain Lion (10.8.3), the Home Library folder will be hidden (unlike pre-Lion OS X versions). To access it, click and hold down Go in the Finder menu bar, then press and hold down the Option key - the Library folder will appear in the drop down list. Slide the pointer down to highlight the Library. As you release the mouse button the Library folder will open.
In the Library/Preferences folder, locate a file named "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist". With iMovie closed, drag this file to the Desktop. When next opened, iMovie will create a fresh preference file with the default settings (you can change these settings in the menu item "IMovie>Preferences" if desired). Also, it's now safe to drag the old preference file to the Trash. Trashing the file will not harm your existing Events or Projects.
Note that these instructions apply to iMovie '11, which you are using. For those on iMovie '09 the preference file is named "com.apple.iMovie8.plist". Earlier versions have a similar name.

Problem in Coding Block during the Acc Doc posting BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST

I have a problem in the Coding Block of a FI invoice Document posting. In our project, we have implemented substitutions to derive SBL;SEGMENT field in the line item of a GL Account.
I have created a program and in that i'm using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST for posting the Accounting Document. During this BAPI call, it is not deriving the values of SBL and SEGMENT.
But, when i'm posting through transaction FB01; the substitutions are getting triggered and finally values are being derived.
Can anyone help on this as to why these values were not derived when it is being called through BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST. For COBL; is it really possible to post through this BAPI or something more has to be done.

Hi Rohith,
to populate correctly the profit. Segment you should fill in the information used in derivation inside the BAPI CRITERIA table structure.
In the below example the profit. Segment is derived from Sales Org. (VKORG) and Distribution Channel (VTWEG).
Fill CRITERIA for CO-PA (Profitability Segment)
    REFRESH lt_criteria.
    wa_criteria-itemno_acc = lv_itemno_acc.
    wa_criteria-fieldname = 'VKORG'.
    wa_criteria-character = '1080'.
    APPEND wa_criteria TO lt_criteria.
    wa_criteria-itemno_acc = lv_itemno_acc.
    wa_criteria-fieldname = 'VTWEG'.
    wa_criteria-character = '01'.
    APPEND wa_criteria TO lt_criteria.

Problem with onSelect event for DropdownbyIndex in the IView

I have an webdynpro for java application where I am using Dropdownby Index. I have associated onSelect event for the dropdown by index. When I launch the application in the standalone mode ( direct application launch) every thing works fine. The onSelect event for the dropdown is also working fine.
I have made an Iview of the webdynpro application. Here on select of the dropdown box I am getting a java script error "Access Denied". Please can you suggest me how do I correct this strange problem .
I have developed the webdynpro application in NW640 SP15 .

Does the portal and the application inside of the iView run both on HTTP or HTTPs? Mixing them is not possible.

Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order - External service procurement

Dear Experts,
We are facing the below mentioned issue while trying to perform goods receipt for external service procurement.
Error - "Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order -------XXX"
The error message is raised when the tracking number is maintained in the Purchase order of External servce,
If we remove the Tracking order (DBM Job order number) from Purchase order and then perform Goods receipt (MIGO) then the error does not exists.

Requirement Tracking number in Purchase order item screen. Field name - BEDNR.
Please note that the job order number is not manually updated by us. It is automatically updating in PO line item through Purchase requisition details as per standard behavior.
If we perform goods receipt then we are getting error message as "Event GR Posted is denied for the DBM Order -------XXX".
Goods receipt is working properly if we remove the Job order number in tracking order field in PO.

OID resource goes to Disabled Status after running the post process event handler

We have an event handler on post update operation. The event handler using the user manager API to do some modification. We are using the "Lock()" function of User Manager API to lock the user based on attribute value. After running the event handler though the user gets locked as expected, it also disables the OID resource after that. We have other resources along with OID but they are not affected with event handler. Only the OID user is triggering the disable operation on locking the user on event handler. We have used the OID 11g Connector for implementation.
If you manually lock the user in user interface it's not going to disable status.
How we can stop to disable the OID User Account.

I have provided some steps below that may help with the Caller Id issue you are experiencing.
Try completing a soft reset on the device. A soft reset would be powering the device off and pulling out the battery. Once the battery is removed, place it back in and power the device back on.
Dial *228 and send. Once dialed, listen for the recording to prompt you for option 1 and select option 1. The phone should complete its programming within a minute.
Ensure you are using the area-code and 7 digit number format (ex. 9999951212)
Try removing the contact and re-adding it.

our android application to inject some event( up / down / left / right keys for example)
to control the flash game running in Adobe AIR.
and what i want is:

IMO, if disabling the Flash Protected Mode solves that issue - do that. Or upgrade your hardware, especially if you have a separate Graphics Card ''[vs an on-board chip]'' or can install a better card in a desktop computer.
As far as YouTube videos goes, have you tried using the HTML5 setting for YouTube?

BTW, Mozilla is working on eliminating the need for even having to use Flash. They're working a a project which is code-named Shumway to play SWF-format files.

Posting new events problems

I am posting new events for a week in march. I have 4 events a day for all 4 days. I did this last month several times. Today i tried to do the same and when I view my month I see 3 events and the 4th is represented by 3 dots or periods for each day. This just started and I am not sure what to do.
Please help.

In last Import right click on one of the pics and select 'Show Event'
