Problem regarding STYLE Command in SapScript-form

Hello together,
i have a problem with an self-created STYLE with transaction SE72! How can i include this new style to a sap-script-form?
i have tried to include it with an addition in main-window like:
"/: STYLE stylename"! But after the check-form-option, it tells me that the specific paragraph and character forms were not found.
How can i bind the new style to a sap-script-form?

Hi ,
Instead of defining like that just go to any editor and select the following ,menu path
Format-> Change style
and select your style from the list of styles,.

Hi All
I have a requirement where i am calling a Function moule ( present in destinataion system ) via RFC , from the source system.
Inside the Function module , i have requirement to call/submit a print program for a script form (Considering that the Form and Print program are in destination system).
Doing this, is there a way to have the SAPSCRIPT output ( ie a Spool) captured or copied in the source system?
Any pointers on the above would be of great help.

I think I've got the answer (even though it is 3 years after question was posted).
Let me re-cap the problem:
1) A set of SAPscript form and print program (beginning with 'Z') for physical inventory document are developed
2) This set of SAPscript form and print program produce similar printout as that in T-code: MI03, or MI01 or MI02
3) The SAPscript form is copied from "INVENT" or "INVENT_VKBW" and the print program is copied from "RM07IDRU" or "RWWVINVB"
4) However, there is no output types available for configuration for user to print physical inventory document using this new set of SAPscript form and print program
Am I correct ?
The re-solution is: Maintain the output types entries (program, form) in table "T159N"
1) T-code: MI01 , MI02, MI04 will call T-code: MI21 when user selects to print physical inventory document
2) T-code: MI21 will call print program "RM07IDRU" (this is maintained in T-code SE93)
3) Program RM07IDRU" will call SAPscript "INVENT" or "INVENT_VKBW" (this is maintained in table "T159N")
Hence, if you develop new sets of SAPscript form and print program (by copying from "INVENT" or "INVENT_VKBW" / "RM07IDRU" or "RWWVINVB"), try table "T159N".

Physical Inventory SAPscript form printing.

Hi Friends,
we have developed a SApscript form and print program for physical inventory documnet . and we r using z transaction code to run this..
now the requiremnt is . the same form and print program need to be called when they run the transactions MI03, or MI01 or MI02.
it seems to be there are no Output types related to physical inventory.
Could any one of you guide me how to do assign this custom form and program to these transactions.
Its bit urgent.

Regarding the screen problem in 'back' command

Hi Experts,
I am doing project on data scrambling an using the ldb PNP . currently i am facing one problem regarding the' BACK'.
i am calling one screen program in main program. when i am clicking on back button from screen program ,the control flow back to the main program and the rest of the lines of the main program gets executed.
i want the control must go back to the default selection screen.
i have tried using leave to screen 0,leave program and exit.But these command are not working as per the requirement.

Problem Regarding menu attachemnt in Forms 6i

I am saving my application in database i.e.all fmb and rdf files are stored in database. But my menu file is not getting attached with my form application. It give me error "FRM-10249 No authorization to run application menu_name.mmx"

Isha,
Make sure your form module has the following property settings:
Menu Source --> File
Menu Module --> Path and name of your .mmx
(You can set the menu module property programmatically, on WHEN-NEW-FORM-INSTANCE
if you don't want to hard code the path.)

Missing text elements in my sapscript form / Transaction F.17

Hello!
I'm on a sap ecc 6.0 system and have problems with a sapscript form.
My printprogram is sapf130d and my form is y_..._debi_slep.
Starting the transaction F.17 i get several lists and at last the error-list. This error-list says "in form y_..._debi_slep in the main window the following textelements are missing ...". Three elements 506, 595 and 606 are missing.
When i look into the form i couldn't see the elements. So with "/E 506", "/E 595" and "/E 606" i've inserted the elements in the main window and saved and activated the form. A new try with "F.17" raises the same errors. For my understanding the relevant elements should be in the info window in this case - i inserted them there, too ... but the errors remain the same. In the print program i can find all these textelements.
Perhaps someone out there has a solution or a hint for me?

The cause of error could be of any reason.
1) For driver program SAPF130D, following forms must be used, or customised by copying any of this below forms.. May be this could be one reasons for the error.
Forms
The following forms are used in the standard SAP R/3 System:
Form for Form name
Letter and Reply F130_CONFIRM_01
Check list F130_LIST_01 and F130_LIST_02
Results table F130_RESULT_01 or F130_RESULT_02
Error list F130_ERROR_01 or F130_ERROR_02
If you define your own forms, the form name should contain the identification code "F130".

I have 2 main window one "main" and other "Main01". In the main 01 I have insert Bitmap command. I have other values to display main.
watermark is not coming second page.
As u said I have given New-window the bitmap was not displaying.

Include PDF file in a SAPscript Form

Here is a good one. Anyone ever heard of this. I need to somehow import a PDF file into an ABAP program and include it in a sapscript form.
Requirment:
Customer sends a PDF file to our system. We need to take this PDF file and include into a "quote" sapscript form and fax it back to the customer.
If anyone has any other ideas of how I can accomplish this task........PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

i solved a similiar problem by following:
- catch the sapsript-data in otf-format by setting
itcpo-tdgetotf = 'X' at CALL FUNCTION 'OPEN_FORM'
- read the pdf-file from it's source
(i.e. content server)in an internal table
- send the fax with function-module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
at least in 4.6c you can add attachements to the fax.
the fax-body is the otf, the attachements are
the pdf-files.
i suppose that your fax-software is able to send the pdf-attachements.
here is some coding i copied from my program. i simplified it to show the main steps, so it won't run immediatly. the form assumes that the otf is filled in table ZT_OTFDATE, the pdf in ZT_PDFDATA and the PDF-filesize is in Z_PDFSIZE.

ADDRESS Command in SAPScript

Dear all,
I'm using ADDRESS ~ ENDADDRESS command in SAPScript. I pass street name to STREET as follow
NAME name1 name2 name3 name4
STREET &LFA1-STRAS&
With the above, my street can be displayed out correctly.
But i faced problem when i have street2 street3 and street4, like below:
NAME name1 name2 name3 name4
STREET &LFA1-STRAS& , &ADRC-STR_SUPPL1& , &ADRC-STR_SUPPL2& , &ADRC-STR_SUPPL3&
With above, nothing printed for street.
Could you please point me out where did i code wrong?
Or we can not pass street2/3/4 to STREET?

Sapscript form to smartstyle migration

Hello,
I'd like to migrate sapscript to smartform. This is the request from customer.
I know that I can migrate sapscript style to smartstyle, but I`m newbie in sapscript and don't know how to find out which sapscript style is assigned to my sapscript.
It seems like sapscript has no sapscrit style, there is only buttons Paragraph formats and Character Formats, so i think that formats of sapscript is hardcoded defined directly in sapscript.
So I'd like to create smartstyle from sapscript form (not sapscript style).
Or maybe there is a connection between my sapscript and a sapscript style, but I wasn't able to find out.
Has anybody an idea?

Converting a SAPscript style
Go to the Smart Styles inital screen (transaction SMARTSTYLES ).
In the Style name field enter the name of the Smart Style you want to create.
Choose Smart Styles ® Convert SAPscript style.
Enter the name of the SAPscript style you want to convert.
Choose Enter.
A list of the converted styles appears.
Choose Back. You can now change the Smart Style (Change).To activate the Smart Style choose Activate

i am using office2007 with windows7 premium home edition. i have checked file associations., all DDE settings. i have even tried this in safe mode. the same thing happens. please note once i see the error. i can then go back to the file click on
it a second time and it WILL open. AND i can open any file if i open excel and and find the file from there. i uninstalled and re-installed office 2007 from scratch. And i checked the compatibility mode (all un-checked) still the problem persisits. this is

Have you try to un-select the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) setting?
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Excel Options.
Click Advanced, and then click to clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
check box in the General area.
Click OK.
If the problem cannot resolve, the Run as administrator may selected.
Go to Office default install location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12.
Right-click EXCEL.EXE > Properties >
Compatibility tab.
Under Privilege Level, uncheck Run this program as an administrator
check box.

Wierd problem regarding JInternalFrames and OUTLINE_DRAG_MODE

I'm currently experiencing a strange problem regarding the use of a JDesktopPane and JInternalFrames.
Code may look as this, its a random Example as I encounter the same results no matter how I construct the Frame and so on:

theres absolutley no problem. As soon as I'm running the Jar file, the drawing of the "outlines" while resizing the InternalFrame
is kinda laggy and choppy as hell. I spent 2 hours of googling now and I still got no idea why thats the case, so I hope anyone
here can enlighten me.

After the installation of Oracle Lite 3.6.0.2.0 on a laptop (with WIN 95 OS), When I run Oracle Lite Designer from start menu, I receive following error message :

My ORACLE_HOME is c:\program files\ora95_2 and Oracle Lite is installed under the ORACLE_HOME in LITE\DESIGNER directory.
JDK version is 1.1.8 which is greater than 1.1.4 installed in c:\program files\jdk1.1.8, My PATH, and CLASSPATH are set in AUTOEXEC.BAT as follows:

the PATH and CLASSPATH were set accordingly, as with JDK1.1.8, and there was no classes.zip in classpath
also the class file or the jar file looks weird or wrapped in the error message : 'FILES\ORA95_2\LITE\DESIGNER\oldes.jar;C:\PROGRAM'
Another interesting thing I noticed is if I run oldes.exe from Installation CD, the Oracle Lite Designer runs fine, and without error, I'm able to modify tables in the database of my laptop also.
Could someone shade some light on what am I doing wrong here ?

How to make an unformatted sapscript form

"If you want to pass on the information to be printed to one printer only, and this printer then takes care of editing and layout, you can mark a special form for this purpose (see Release Information SAPSCRIPT). In this way, the text is passed on unformatted. This is of interest, for example, if you are using thermal-transfer label printers
... without any links. I've been looking for this "Release Information SAPSCRIPT" but can't find it, does anyone know where?
I need to print labels to a thermal printer (Paxar Monarch) but if I put the print codes inside a sapscript form, the printer always gives errors. If I write the same printcodes directly to the printer, it works fine. However, I need to use sapscript forms for customizing reasons, but the form just needs to pass on the printcodes as unformatted text.

Passing the data from a internal tabe to sapscript form

Hi folks,
I have an question, how to pass an each character value of a field into the sapscript form separately,
I have an field value from an internal table in the print program say - itab-ssn = 123789345 and I need to pass each character separately into the sapscript form. How do you write the code in the sapscript text editor
I tried this piece of code did not work...
&itab-ssn(0)&,, &itab-ssn(1)&,, &itab-ssn(2)& and relaised it adds up characters as I go on...
I just need 1 2 3 7 8 ...
How to do that?

Formatting option +n(a) where n is the offset and a the length
