Problem regarding XML field value to XML generation

Hi Everybody,
I am facing a typical problem. I am storing xml in an xml datatype field in a table. But when I am generating physical file from the xml field, '&' in the xml field is getting converted into '&' in the physical file. But I want '&' to
be intact.
Can anyone faced the issue or have any idea of solving this?

You can set the null attribute to true , so that the tag appears in your XML

Problem in adding field values?

Hi all,
I am using table COSP in my program. The requirement is i need to add the field values(SMEXXX) of this table structure until the period entered in seletion-screen.
i.e if the period is 005.
i need to add
SME001 UNTIL SME005 TO a variable.
if the period is 007 then
SME001 UNTIL SME007.
I need the logic to choose the no of field values dynamically? please help me.

Create ITAB as follows:
Fetch all the data from all the columns SME001 to SME016 in the respective columns in internal table itab.
Make use of field-symbol to add the value of the corresponding columns as follows:-
<FS1> as line type of ITAB
<fs2> type any.
Assume period selected is 007
LOOP AT ITAB ASSIGNING <FS1>
DO.
IF PERIOD = 000.
exit.
ENDIF.
Concatenate 'SME' period into LV_VARIABLE.
Assign component LV_VARIABLE of structure <FS1>
to <FS2>.
if <FS2> is assigned.
sum = sum + <FS2>
endif.
period = period - 1.
ENDDO.
ENDLOOP.
So now sum will contain the sum of the values of SME001 to SME007.

Problem in XML generation

Hi All,
I am new to SNC consulting, currently i am learning the Purchase order Process of SNC. I created plant, material, Vendor and info records in ECC 6 and ciffed these data to SNC 7.0 system.
After this i created a normal PO in ECC and an IDOC of type PORDCR1 PORDCR102 is generated in the ECC but i am not able to see the XML of type Purchase order ERPreplenishment order notification_in in SNC system.
I logged into PI system and checked the SXMB_MONI transcation, i could not find out any alternative way.
Can anyone tell what i have to do inorder to get the XML transfered to SNC. And could you please share PO configuration and process documents.

I Checked for the inbound XML messages Assigned to Default process types it wast not there, but i maintained this setting in
SAP SNC - >IMG->SNC-.Basic Settings->processing Inbound and outbound messages->process types for Inbound messages->Assign Inbound XML messages to Default process types.
i selected the option "Supplier Collaboration" as the process type for all your XML messages.
I created a new PO and sent it to SNC, still i am not able see the XML.
I checked the TA " SLDCHECK", it returned an error saying :

Problem regarding dynamically field move up if null

My 1st req was:
i want the field which is condionally come in my form , when the value is null it wil not be displayed and when the value is not null
the field shud be displayed this is my 1st requirement
now this i hve achieved now
2nd is ( The space occupied by the field if it is not displayed wil also be nullify ).
Suppose there are 5 field in which 3 field have value , now i want only to display those 3 fields and also the space which wil occupied is of 3 only.
dynamically the below field wil come up if the value of above field is null.

How to convert flat file to XMl without key field value

Hi experts,
I have a input CSV Flat file which has got one HEADER line and Multiple Detail records.
I do not have any key field value to convert this FLAT file to XML using normal file content conversion.
Is there any module or Bean which can be used to convert this Flat File to XML.
Or any other remedy to overcome this problrm.

I am not using the first line in the mappiing.
Are you saying that I need to ignore the first line while doing the conversion using Recordset OFFSET ?
Or do I need to make a single structure taking all the fields from header as well as details and while defining the structure I need to ignore the fields from header?

XML generation problem?

Hi I'm relatively new to Flex 2 and I have a question.
I'm generating an xml file from an oracle view and hope to
use it as the basis for a chart/data grid.
My generation process yields data something like this:

I'm wondering if something is wrong with my generated xml
data or if its something else. I did notice that my xml generation
doesn't always produce 3 warehouse tags for every commodity. Could
this be the problem?
Also, the reason the commodity tag's total is always 0 in the
xml is because this information is not captured in the view...I use
mxml to calculate that.

It seems that I played with it for a while and fixed it. The
problem was my xml data and the format my httpservice was
returning. First my xml data needed to be enclosed by <data>
and </data> tags not <list> and </list> tags.
Second my httpservice needed to have a result format of e4x. This
also caused me to have to change how I was handling the individual
xml properties of the data.
Anyway the fixed code looks like this for anyone that cares
and has gotten a similar error.

In the above code I am parsing the xml file and i am doing schema validation. Schema validation is proper and it is validating correctly. Only problem is that, It is validating and showing error correctly correctly but it is not catching that error.
For clear understanding I am printing one statement before parsing and after parsing.
SYSTEM.OUT.PRINTLN("Vijay .. code .. damar\n") this is before parsing
SYSTEM.OUT.PRINTLN("Vijay .. code .. success\n") this is after parsing
Here what is happening means, It is validating correctly and showing error :
[Error] nw_layout-new.xml:800:97: Datatype error: Value 'y' does not match regular expression facet 'yes|no'..
Vijay .. code .. damar
Vijay .. code .. success
Here it is showing error and still continueing not catching.
Plz give solution for this.

Having a problem importing xml into an indesign template.

I am having a problem importing xml into an indesign template. The xml data is there and will populate the columns on the document but I am having problems matching styles, removing data that should not be mapped and importing repeated same fields but differnet data.

Having a problem parsing XML from web service & dropdown list

I have 2 data connections that are programmatically invoked via exit event on different fields in form. Both have identical code with only difference is that one populates a multiselect list box and one populates a drop down list. The one that populates the listbox works fine. Everytime Field A changes, it is fired and the results parsed then listblox updated. The one with the drop down list is not working at all. The form is used in Workspace. When I use the javascript debugger, I see the correct node values output to the console window. The problem is that the value is not successfully added to the drop down list existingFileNumber. Anyone have any great ideas? Like I said, this works perfectly in the same form for a different web service and a listbox.

Problem in xml query

Hi
I am working on BLS and having problem in xml query.I want to perform some calculation over xml columns.Than total of this as a new column.I can do this part in logic editor itself but can i do these both task by XSLT.
Can be made our own XSLT for this ?
I am feeling kind of fear to xslt. Can anybody help me in this.

In xMII there is a list of predefined xslt transforms that do something similar to what you are explaining. The 3 that I think may be what you are looking for are
they are under Calculation Transformations and Subtotal Transformation take a look at these and tell me if they are doing what you want to accomplish. In the xMII help file do a search on Inline Transforms or navigate to Advanced Topics -> Inline Transforms -> Predefined Inline Transforms. In this section there are examples of how to use these transforms and apply them in the query templates. If this is not what you are looking for can you explain in a little more detail along with a simple example of how you want this transform to work. Also why do you want to use xslt if you can already accomplish this in BLS?

Facing problem in xml schema xsd file registration

i am facing problem in xml schema xsd file registration when
the number of column is more. It is showing persing error.
if i am deleting few column from xsd file . It is working otherwise
showing error. Is there any solution for that please suggest me.
The Error is
ORA-31011:XML parsing failed
ORA_19202: Error occurred in XML processing
LPX-00230 : (message vary time to time-like invalid tag ending etc.)

Where is you XML coming from. Are you sure it's valid. If you are hard coding it as a SQL String constant are you hitting the 4k / 32K limit on the size of SQL / PL/SQL constant. Have you tried loading the content from a bfile..

Problem starting XML Forms Builder

Hi
I have a SAP EP 6.0 SP2 Patch 28 portal where I newly implemented the how to guide "How To Secure Permissions fro Initial Content In SAP EP 6.0 SP2".
In this guide I need to create a new Content Manager role, due to a SAP Note 775117.
All this seems ok, but now I am not able to start the XML Forms Builder.
I am getting an error message that says something about the <b>"Access is denied:com.sap.portal.system/applications/com.sap.km.cm/components/xfbuilder - security zone:medium_safety/Com.sap.km.cm"</b>
I have tried out several ways, then the recommendation, of implementing to get this application to be loaded, but unfortunately - this does not work.
Have anyone else reach some problem regarding this issue??

Set field value problem

Hi All,
I want to set a field value of a class. I do this in the way of modifying codes in getText() method in XXXItemProvider.java as the red frame in the following picture.
It generates the following problem
But, if I remove the codes, "(NFRSoftgoal)object.setLabel......", it becomes normal.
Can anyone help me solve the problem?

On the child, the set command is created by
org.eclipse.emf.edit.provider.ItemProviderAdapter.createSetCommand(EditingDomain,
EObject, EStructuralFeature, Object) so you can specialize this method
of the child's item provider so that it modifies not only the child's
label feature, but modifies also the parents. All that could be done
with a CompoundCommand that composes all the SetCommands.
