Hi Helios,
Thnaks for reply.
I shall review your note you have given but KFI that pl.gg thru the following link ( go to page no: 9) .
It is showing that it's a feature of 11i also.

  • Disable Parent Form while invoking Child Form using FND_FUNCTION.EXECUTE

    Hi,
    Any inputs in getting this issue resolved would be really helpful? I have a parent form wherein I am calling Child form (Line Details Form) by passing the masterid it works fine. Here How do we refrain the user control to access master form when child form is opened? Here when child form is invoked by click of a button and try to close the master, still I could see the child form opened. Any help will he highly appreciated. Many Thanks.
    Please find the details of the db version and function being used to invoke the form. I tried with all parameter options, when we give Open_flag as 'N', the master form gets closed after opening the child form. Perhaps given the open_flag as 'Y'. Kindly let me know your inputs in case of any missout from my end.

  • URGENT: Error while importing personalizations using Functional Admin Resp

    Hi all,
    We are facing problem when importing personalizations using Functional Administrator responsibility.
    We have personalised a standard oracle page in development instance and have successfully exported the personalizations in a file.
    But when we try to import the same files in another instance, we get the following error when opening "Exported Personalizations" tab in "Personalizations> Import/Export" tab .
    The path ' $HOME/ ' you specified does not exist. Please specify an existing path in the profile 'FND: Personalization Document Root Path'.
    We have tried giving different paths in profile option 'FND: Personalization Document Root Path', but it gives the same error for every path in this new instance.
    This was not the case with the development instance where we were able to import/export personalizations successfully.
    Can anybody give inputs on this.
    This is a bit urgent.
    Regards,
    Anas.

    What is the current value in the Profiles Form?
    What is the value that is displayed in the "About this Page" -> "Profiles", from the Functional Administration screen.
    Can you also confirm if the directory has 777 permissions?

  • Problem in using JDBC Execute commands(Update & Delete Only) with af:Table

    HI Everyone,
    I have one issue with Updating and Deleting Row Data using JDBC Execute commands.
    Suppose In My Application i have two pages, in Page 1 I have Two Command Buttons(Delete and Save) and One Input TextBox to write the String to be stored in the Database. and Page 2 where the result Table is shown and table is binded with a ViewObject, Now When User Types some String in InTB and click Save then By Programmatically I'm searching, that string is already present in database or not, if it is already exist then Save button converts in Update button and instead of inserting it allows user to Update the String already exist in database.
    Everything is working fine but the problem comes when i put those all buttons on the same page where result table is present.After putting all things on the same page and When i click save button to insert new String it is Successfully inserting but when any of other action is performed like updating or Deleting the existing one.. then my application just hanged and then nothing I able to do.
    Please Help me to understand this problem and give me the solution for this..
    Thanks

    Hi frank,
    Thanks to reply me...
    I'm refreshing table's iterator on each command button's action to reflect the changed result... and i'm sorry i mentioned two pages in my project.. actually these are two forms in the same page..which conditionally changed its renderer properties.. its working fine when only one form is renderred and the otherside when both are rendered then it is not working.
    Hope this change will help you to understand the problem.. if something else you are looking for then please tell me..
    Thanks

  • XML_LOAD_LOG Not Updating When Using DBMS_AW.EXECUTE

    I have created a procedure that maintains cubes and dimensions, so that I don't have to use AWM. This procedure that I have created logs important details of the maintenance, and my method of executing the OLAP DML command that maintains the OLAP objects is by using DBMS_AW.EXECUTE.
    The problem is that the OLAPSYS.XML_LOAD_LOG table is not being updated when I execute this procedure, and since it relies on the data of the XML_LOAD_LOG table, I am getting errors not related to OLAP.
    Whats frustrating me is that it has not always been like this, I have always been using DBMS_AW.EXECUTE and suddenly, it bombs out on me.
    Please help.

    When i use IE there is no problem, an iFrame is generated and the bucket detais are rendered into it.
    The problem is with Firefox, the is an iFrame in the HTML code, but there is no rendering of it : why ?
    it seems that iFrames are well-rendered with FireFox and i don't no how to change my page to render it good with both FireFox and IE
    Please tell me a solution, something to change with my ADF tags ?...
    Sincerely,
    edward.

    i found solution for the problem that i use the following code to include JavaScript file
    i found that the problem occurred when i use the following code to include JavaScript file
    <script type="text/javascript" src="javascriptfile.js"/>
    also if i included 2 JavaScript files only one file is included at runtime
    but when i used the following code to include JavaScript files
    <afh:script source="javascriptfile.js"/>
    the two problems were solved (the problem of LOV and the problem of including multiple /js files)
    i don't know if it is a bug in the ADF or i made a mistake in the previous way
    any way thanks to you all for helping me

    iOS 7 devices need iTunes 11.1 or newer to sync.  Depending upon your computer and the OS it is running, you may not be able to upgrade to iTunes 11.1 based on the requirements for iTunes 11.1.  What computer and OS are you running your iTunes on?  From the iTunes download pages I see the requiorements are:
    Macintosh System Requirements
    Mac computer with an Intel Core processor
    OS X version 10.6.8 or later
    400MB of available disk space
    Broadband Internet connection to use the iTunes Store

  • Problem w/ image item using 9i BLOB field and InterMedia ORDImage Object

    Hi,dear all,
    I have a problem with image item in Form 6i. Oracle 9i is used as backend DB, and a table contains image data is created for testing:
    create table image_test(
    id number,
    image blob
    In Form 6i, there is no problem to create a block for inserting/updating the image record into the database. However, it can not be used to retrieve image (blob field), the image item remains empty after 'execute query', while the id field can be retrieved. When the same table is created in Oracle 8.1.7, and the exact same form can be used without any problem both in inserting and retrieval. It seems that the Oracle 9i does not use the same way to store BLOB column. Has anybody ever encountered this problem? How to retrieve image (BLOB) in Form 6i from Oracle 9i?
    I tried to use interMedia ORDImage as the data type in Oracle 9i, that is,
    create table image_test(
    id number,
    image ORDSYS.ORDImage
    Same problem, the form can insert record with image, but when retrieving, nothing displayed. Anybody could help! Thanks in advance!

    hi!
    well working with oracle8i and form6i.
    same problem..but i used (instead of blob or clob as datatype..) Long raw..
    it can be saved as usual..i mean Commit..
    and can be retrieved..using Execute_Query..its working fine..
    well if anybody get any other solution..do inform..

  • Problem related to variable substitution

    Dear all ,
    I have a query related to variable substitution :
    The requirement is that filename should be in the following format : <b>%<store_code>%_%<Date>%</b>_master.xml .
    I have done the configuration for Store_code in the variable substitution from Payload .
    But I am facing <b>problem related to Date as the requirement is that we should not take the date from the payload</b> . We used "ADDtimestamp" in the file mode creation but it is generating file with time stamp also which doesn;t serve the purpose .
    Can somebody suggest <b>how to take the current date without taking it from payload .</b> <b>Does anyone know something about standard current date which I can assign directly to Var2 .</b>
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Prabhat

    Hi,
    In your mapping, have a user defined function which has a bit of Java to get the current date and time and pass back out to a variable.
    Here is a code snippet I got in Google to do this :
    import java.text.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class Dtest {
    public static void main(String args[]) {
       SimpleDateFormat df = (SimpleDateFormat)
         DateFormat.getDateInstance(DateFormat.SHORT);
       System.out.println("The short date format is  " + df.toPattern());
       Locale loc = Locale.ITALY;
       df = (SimpleDateFormat)
         DateFormat.getDateInstance(DateFormat.SHORT, loc);
       System.out.println("The short date format is  " + df.toPattern());
    Cheers
    Colin.

  • Can getGeneratedKeys() be used when executing batches of statements?

    Hi all,
    this question was posted in this thread:
    Can getGeneratedKeys() be used when executing batches of statements?
    but unfortunately I didn't find the answered appropriate.
    That thread is now locked, so I would like to start it again here.
    This is a summary of the other thread:
    Can you retrieve keys generated by a batch of insert statements? The following code produces an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException from the Oracle T4CNumberAccessor.unmarshalOneRow() method (see stack trace at the bottom of this message).
    The code is:
    String sql = "INSERT INTO FOO (ID, NAME) VALUES (FOO_SEQ.NEXTVAL, ?)";
    String generatedColumns[] = {"ID"};
    PreparedStatement pstmt = connection.prepareStatement(sql, generatedColumns);
    pstmt.setString(1, "A");
    pstmt.addBatch();
    pstmt.setString(1, "B");
    pstmt.addBatch();
    pstmt.setString(1, "C");
    pstmt.addBatch();
    //EXCEPTION OCCURS HERE
    pstmt.executeBatch();
    The exception is:
    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 22
    at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CNumberAccessor.unmarshalOneRow(T4CNumberAccessor.java:190)
    at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.receive(T4C8Oall.java:610)
    at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CPreparedStatement.doOall8(T4CPreparedStatement.java:216)
    at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CPreparedStatement.executeForRows(T4CPreparedStatement.java:955)
    at oracle.jdbc.driver.OraclePreparedStatement.executeBatch(OraclePreparedStatement.java:10580)
    The only answer given was:
    "You should directly specify how big your batching is. For that reason you may use ExecutionContext where you can set setBatchingLimit(int) and setBatching(bool). This operation will tell execution context the size of supposed batching and also should be batching performed at all or not. You can add batching jobs but you can not execute the jobs without proper initialization of batching job size - it will fail with out of bounds."
    ExecutionContext is not something I found in jdbc drivers, so I'm a bit confused about this answer.
    Did anyone solve the problem?
    Thanks,
    Michele

    >
    We have the same problem. No solution so far.
    >
    I never found a definitive solution but testing seems to show that this is not possible.
    There is no code that can be written to get the generated keys if batching is used.
    This is because the 'getGeneratedKeys' method must be called on the prepared statement and would return the generated keys as a ResultSet object. But when batching there is only one prepared statement but multple sets of parameters, one for each batch entry.
    Thus there could only be one call to 'getGeneratedKeys' since there is only one prepared statement. This strongly implies that it is not possible to use 'getGeneratedKeys' when batching.

  • Problem related GL account

    hi all ,   I am a brand new member in this community .   i am here with a problem while posting stock using T-code mb1c. there is a error report showing " Posting can only be made the GL account 799999 in currency EUR" .  Please give me the solluton for this error.

    Hi
    Hope you are working new in IDES system
    Now the system tells is MM period is not open earlier it was FI
    i have checked all the probable entry even in T-code MMRV its updated.
    What you have checked in MMRV
    In MMRV  look for the current period say 06 2009 ( greyed out entry ) that means june 2009 is open
    You can post it for june 2009 but you are posting it for oct 2009 the present date hence the error
    To solve this error you need to check the current period in MMRV say 06.2009
    then T code MMPV enter your company code and input the date as 01.07.2009 and select the radio button check and close period and execute
    You will receive a log message
    This means that you have closed june 2009 and july 2009 is open now
    Now if you check in MMRV the current period will be 07 2009
    Like this you have to do till 01.10.2009 that means we will close till sep and open october in MMPV
    Closing to be done in MMPV and the changes to be viewed in MMRV
    In MMRV your current period should be 10 2009
    Make sure the fiscal year varient assigned to your company code in OBY6 is K4
    K4 menas 12 periods jan to dec 06 means june here
    V3 menans 12 periods april to march 06 means sep here
    The settings i told is for K4 and maintain K4 as fiscal year varient assigned to your company code in OBY6
    Regards
